The staff at Coastline pizzeria were all so kind to us. Ordered their Arancini, tomato basil soup, and the OG. Nothing to complain about.

I've lived so close to Coastline Pizzeria for a while and somehow never knew about it until a coworker suggested it for happy hour -- glad I finally checked it out. They have a great happy hour deal with half off all specialty cocktails, which is hard to beat. I stayed true to my roots and ordered an espresso martini, and it was absolutely delicious. We also really enjoyed the Caesar salad. They offer two styles of pizza: a traditional pie and one that's more flatbread-style. I liked both, but I'd definitely go back for the traditional pizza next time. Service was great, parking was easy (which I really appreciate), and it has a cute neighborhood feel. While it's not my favorite pizza spot in Houston, it's a solid choice for drinks and a bite -- especially for happy hour.

Coastline changed my opinion of what I thought it was going to be. And I thought mid. However, after finally stepping foot in and dining, I can say, that I am wrong and it's just as good as people say it is. Di Campania: - this was a summer menu and it and was so good! the flavor profile of this pizza blende so well together and crispy bites. OG Grilled: Mozzarella, yellow tomato "pizzutello", garlic, prosciutto cotto, stracciatella, pickled onion, basil - this was so interesting. I started noticing people putting little dollops of ricotta on pizza and I dont know why, but its so good. Shared a happy hour tostada and now I know why its happy hour. You want your own. There's parking in the back! You can enter through the back or the front, whichever way you are coming from. Coastlines gives off a mix of cozy, casual, and almost what you see in movies when friends go to the pizza+bar joint thats worthy of visiting.

Outside seating is as cool as inside.

What a really great neighborhood, pizza joint. It's very affordable for the family. We enjoyed the food and place so much. A very cool vibe while being approachable. Super cool and laidback. Option to get two types of pies here, Neapolitan or Grilled. We tried both in two different trips. Both times it came out incredibly good and hot. The former was nice and chew and the latter super crispy. We tried the meatball and the shishitos. Both solid choices for appetizers, but for me the meatballs won out. The cocktails are very creative and the happy hour list even shows the employees who suggested them. Plain old fun! Don't be afraid to try the zero alcohol options too. They are very good. Now the service was mixed. During the Friday night rush we had a server that was super nice but we were forgotten twice when we asked for things. Appetizer came out with pizza. Manager came out to apologize which I appreciated. However surprisingly he did not offer to comp anything. The next time I visited was on a Saturday afternoon and took my wife to try the crispy pizza. It was not very busy early in the day. The service was welcoming and attentive. So I had to drop a star for service, but as always the ultimate rating question is, will I come back? Honestly I can't wait to go back and if you read this I hope you try it too.

I see what all the fuss is about about! I came here on a Saturday night with no resy, for a side quest from a bday party just a block away, with a group of some Yelpers. My first time. We were able to eat as a group at the bar. The place was kinda full, thats a good thing for business for a Saturday night. They have some tables for small and large groups. The place seems a lil cozy/close quarters. Maybe they have an extra back room, or a patio that I was unaware of? But the large pizza oven has plenty of space, and is worth it at a pizza shop. Service- was great. They asked if we were eating or drinking or both. I came to eat not drink. We were easily able to order. Pizza came out piping hot. Server didn't steer us in one direction or the other. I suppose to allow the customer to decide. But it's nice to hear what servers enjoy when going go a place for the first time, just for inspo. Our server made sure our waters stayed full, which I appreciated. I think his name was Derlin, or Derwin? I should have asked him to spell it for me. I hate not giving credit where credit is due. Food- we were torn between the grilled (round) pizza or there napoletana, which I assume is like the pizza in Naples, Italy. The grilled is the style of pizza the US is use too. Honestly the pizza was fab. I split "The OG", and it was an excellent choice, half was all I needed and was full. Perfect crispy crust, sauce homemade and flavorful, toppings that complimented each other. Very yummy. Have to come back and try more.

We had the summer menu. It was perfect! - chili mushrooms were delicious. Not spicy enough but did have a kick (but I have a v high spice tolerance so prob spicy for most people), the stracciatella was a perfect balance - tonno pizza--I've never had tuna on a pizza before yet this was very flavorful and the yellow tomatoes, jalapenos, and lemon combo was scrumptious!! We love this place and look forward to coming back! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Ambiance is casual cozy vibes.

Coastline Pizzeria has been on my radar for awhile and I finally got the chance to check it out. It is located on Houston Ave and easy to get to. We were enjoying drinks down the street and just made the short walk over. They do have a lot for parking as well. As you walk in, you will notice a narrow restaurant with a bar that takes up most of one side and minimal seating up against the other wall. In the far corner, you will see their wood fired over and prep area, so you can watch the magic happen. We came around 9pm and it was pretty full. My crew was lucky enough to get enough seats together at the bar. To reach the bathroom, you have to step outside to a small patio area, so you can almost say it's outside. Customer service was great. Since we had already been partaking in drinks at a birthday party, most of us just wanted food. I skipped out on cocktails, but from what I hear, their cocktail program is legit. They have a full bar as well with beer, wine and non alcoholic drinks. For food, they have a handful of appetizers as well as salads. I was here for some za though. They have two types of pizza which are the Napoletana or their signature grilled pizzas. Napoletana is the classic pizza originating from Naples, Italy. You get that thin, but soft crust that is slightly charred which gives it a unique flavor profile. I did try a piece of their Diavolo which was topped with San Marzano tomatoes, hot Soppressata, chili oil and basil. It would have been my first choice if I had ordered my own Napoletana pizza. The first bite with everything on it was everything. It was delicious. The pizza was a little floppy though. What I ordered and shared was their grilled pizza, The OG. Their grilled pizzas are essentially a flat bread style. It came with sauce, cheese, Italian sausage, pepperoncini, ricotta, habanero honey, and basil. This pizza was amazing. It was a good portion size to share. The crust had a nice, crispy bite to it. The toppings were distributed evenly and all the flavors worked in perfect harmony. Overall, Coastline has moved up as one of my favorite pizza spots in the city. I will most definitely come back!

Great pizza! Between the two of us, we ordered the Diavolo napoletana style and the OG Texas style. I fully expected to prefer the Diavolo with spicy soppressata and chili oil vs. the OG with pepperoncini slices and sausage. But it was hard to choose between the two! I might have given the edge to the OG for surprising me. We also started with a simple salad with the vinaigrette. The vinaigrette was honey and lemon flavored and definitely tasted homemade. No drinks this time, but it was a very enjoyable meal. Service was friendly too and it's a small place that seems trendy, but no one was pretentious. I'm excited to come back and enjoy more!

Went here with my wife and child when my mom was in town. We really had a great experience. The service was top notch, the food was delicious, and the Happy Hour was great. Really enjoyed the wine on the HH menu. We tried both styles of pizza, one being your standard crust pizza and the other was more of a flat bread. Loved them both. Definitely will come back.

    Motherland: thin crust, made fresh

Super cozy and comfy spot. Used to be a coffee/wine bar but I enjoyed the new concept of a pizza spot. Walked in on a Friday around lunch time and there was plenty of seating. We got the motherland to share between two and were satisfied with the portion. If you're hungry maybe get one each. The motherland was heavy on the pesto for my preference but it was flavorful! I was excited to try their limoncello but it was not available. So I will be coming back to try again. Staff was helpful and attentive.

A great pizzeria and bars for this neighborhood. They have Napoletana style pizza and Texas-Style Grilled Pizza, both are great. The Pizza Napoletana taste really authentic and delicious of course. First, I love they have a private parking lot in the back and there are plenty of parking space. You can enter for the back door instead of go around to the front. As soon as we walked in they greeted us bring us to a table. We looked over the menu and I pick two pizza, 1 Napoletana style and 1 Texas-Style Grilled Pizza style. We also got a new Summer menu item. We got the DI CAMPANIA Mozzarella, yellow tomato "pizzutello", garlic, prosciutto cotto, stracciatella, pickled onion, basil is only on there summer 2025 menu, and the OG for the Grilled pizza, we also got 1 toastada just to try. If I live close by I would come here every week but this place is a little bit far for me.

I stumbled into Coastline Pizzeria while looking for a place for dinner. The ambiance is casual, the place is easy to pass by being rather small. The food was an amazing surprise. I ordered one of the pizza choices and what was brought delivered! Cooked in a brick oven it was tasty and filling. The service was excellent. Attentive but not over the top. If you're looking for authentic Italian stop by and check it out. Located in the historic 1st Ward, it's easy access from the downtown area.

A great and quaint little spot for spectacular Neapolitan pizza just like what you get in Italy. The pizza is so good and is light and flavorful. The small dining area was somewhat full and the service provided by the entire staff was awesome. I definitely look forward to my next visit and trying some different pizzas.

Haven't been yet, but I just studied their menu. They have a gluten-free crust option for their grilled pizza. It is not mentioned under their Neapolitan pizzas.

Midtown with their questionable parking makes me not want to go. Upon entering, the place is a nice, intimate setting, with a handful of seating areas along with bar and outside seating. Recommend bringing a light jacket as it was a bit cold. The menu had a variety of offerings, and noted that all drinks are $12. They are card only, so bring your card or tap to pay and also your ID. Because they are 3 feet from a school and are considered a private club, they comply with TABC regulations to ensure safety and efficiency in their business. From the variety of the drinks, I opted for my signature drink, an Old Fashioned, it definitely had a bite to it. I slowly sipped on it while I lounged in one of the seating areas. My sister tried the Starduster Ranch Water, and she didn't like it, I had a sip of it and it tasted like only way I can describe is like soap. Saw that they also have Mocktails and THC Beverages, I didn't try any of them. We headed out as we were trying to grab dinner and Starduster doesn't currently offer food. I did get to speak with Dylan again outside and he clued me in on a couple of things they are planning to do such as having food trucks and also open the upstairs for additional space. Overall, I know being new (had just opened last week) there are many things being worked on and do hope that things improve here and they add additional seating, it got busy for a bit and seating was standing only. Thankfully I was there early enough and got a nice cozy seating area. I removed a star because both my drink and my sister weren't really anything special, it tasted like they were premade and poured from a tap, I missed seeing each one be made. I did like that there aren't TV's inside, it helps maintain the personal interactions natural and focused. Outside they do have TV's which makes sense for bigger groups. Though the seating is limited inside, likely to maintain it as a cozy and intimate space, outside has a lot of seating AND they are PET FRIENDLY! In cold weather without heating lamps, don't think anyone would really sit out there. Once spring and summer arrive, it will be nice. On their menu they indicate "Weekly Specials" Spaghetti Western Sundays Monday Night Steak Night (not sure why it wasn't happening the day I was there, would've enjoyed some steak) Tarot Tuesdays Whiskey Wednesday

He was incredibly welcoming from the moment we sat down, had such a great personality, and made the whole experience feel personal. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that kind of service is hard to find. He also told us about their upcoming two year anniversary party on May 3rd with rotating live DJs, which sounds like it will be such a fun time. We will definitely be back. Between the drinks, the atmosphere, and the service, this place really gets it right.

On my weekly walks through midtown, I got to watch Jethro's be built and come to life. First visit…read morewas a big HIT for me and I love finding time to come back. The vibes are immaculate! It's a little small inside and a small parking lot, but if you're lucky and can walk there, do! The quality of the drinks are really excellent and the burgers have been voted some of the best in town! I can't speak for them, but the drinks and the spot, are phenomenal. They have bingo nights, dj nights, and other themed events that keep the place packed out. Maybe once I try the burgers, it'll be 5 stars, but the smallll parking lot and lack of safe street parking keep me at 4.
