Another 10/10 experience at tiny champs!! Service is always excellent. Love the vibe here because it can be a date night or a casual dinner with friends and the food never misses. I don't know what exactly it is about the braised butter beans but I love them so much. The sweet peppers are such a nice surprise with every bite. The oysters are also fantastic, and I don't usually like raw oysters, but the topping makes them addicting. I've never had a bad pasta here. The agnolotti is such a fun filled pasta, the sweet peas were delicious. The bicoli was perfectly al dente and the guanciale bits were so savory. The salami piccante pizza is a classic and the hot honey just sends it over the top. Big fan of all the cocktails too. The desserts are delish- tried the lemon fennel cake and loved the texture from the sugary crust. The whip was also excellent!
The best dining experience of my trip to Houston! We visited on a Wednesday during happy hour and had an incredible meal from start to finish. The restaurant itself is absolutely charming, with a warm, stylish atmosphere and adorable decor that made the space feel both inviting and memorable. We ordered the carrot hummus, pepperoni pizza, bigoli with crispy guanciale, tomato, and pecorino, and finished with the vanilla ice cream sundae. Every dish was outstanding, and I would gladly recommend any of them. A special shoutout to Fran, our server, who was phenomenal. They guided us through the menu, provided excellent recommendations, and made sure our water glasses were never empty. Their attentive and friendly service elevated an already fantastic experience. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious, the ambiance was wonderful, and the service was just as impressive. If you're visiting Houston, this restaurant is a must-try. It was easily my favorite meal of the entire trip, and I can't wait to come back.
Wowow! We came here on a double date and this place is so so delicious! The cocktails here the group said were very good. The appetizers were so good as well. Our favorites were the carrot and burrata dip (great flavor and love the focaccia served with it) and the arancini (delicious vodka sauce to pair). The pizzas are pretty good but the standout is definitely the pasta. We got a triangoli and it was so unique in flavor, textures. We loved it!! Service was on top of what we needed and water. Ambiance is intimate and cozy vibes. Love it here and will be back!
Oh boyyyy. You know those restaurants that you try for the first time and immediately know you'll be back soon? That's Tiny Champions. It took me far too long to come here and I'm mourning every past meal I didn't have. Originally had a reservation for 6 and needed to adjust the day before and they kindly accommodated! We sat outside and had one of my favorite meals in Houston. We had a good mix of apps, pasta, and pizza with the salami piccante pie stealing the show. No joke might be my favorite Houston pizza bite. Also our server Jackalynn was awesome. Great conversation and kept up with our chaotic ordering and questions. Tiny Champions you've won my heart!!!

They had a new Spring 2026 Menu that we wanted to try the asparagus pizza. - Asparagus Pizza (Smoked Pancetta, leek and fennel cream sauce, gruyère and fontina cheese) Yummy. Doesn't taste like a pizza to me (maybe a bit more like a flat bread) but I enjoyed the flavors a lot. This one pairs well with the Salami Piccante Pizza when you want two pizzas. Reordered from previous visits: - Salami Piccante Pizza - Very Yummy a very nice balance of flavors. The hot honey with ricotta is to yummy. - Lasagna.
First time trying this restaurant, I didn't make a reservation and it was packed so I dined in outside by the patio which was pleasantly welcoming. I was craving pizza so I ordered the Italian sausage pizza with no Italian sausage and added hot honey on the side. The pizza was amazing. Service was amazing as well. I would visit again just to dine in inside as I loved the open kitchen concept. I went after 8pm and found street parking, I can't attest to parking prior to that. I would visit again. The only con is they don't have any chicken or beef options for the pizza which is a personal thing since I don't eat pork.
Pepperoni Pizza was an excellent choice. The service was fast and efficient, especially during happy hour. The ambiance was charming, with a cozy patio that created a lively atmosphere. We had three pizzas and four drinks for under a bill, making it a must happy hours spot!
Tiny chimps!! Always a fun treat to dine here. Starting off with the dreamsicle mocktail, this was sooo yummy and unique. Not too sweet either! As for pizzas, we decided on the greens pizza and the picante (no salami). Both were so freaking good. The greens pizza has so much garlic in it and the way the greens are CRISPY makes all the difference. The picante was also amazing, especially if you love the combo of ricotta and hot honey. To end our meal, we got the coffee ice cream sundae and oh my lawd, unreal!!!!! Love this place for date night or a girls night - it's definitely one of those places where you want to get a bunch of stuff and share! Check it out!
Ordered the special pasta of the day. Wish i could remember the name because it was absolutely phenomenal. The pasta had crunch from nuts, stuffed with i believe delicious mushrooms. Very complex flavor profile. I got the hot honey pizza which was amazing as well. The only comment is that the hot honey gets a bit overwhelming in flavor as you get to the third slice. Service was great. I came in with no reservation and they managed to squeeze us in with the request that we leave by a certain time to accommodate those with a reservation. They let us stay a half hour past that time. On the darker side at night. Makes for a good mood for a date night.
Ever since I tried Nancy's Hustle, I have had my eye on Tiny Champions and I finally saw a dinner reservation and had to grab a spot. We came here Saturday evening around 7:30 and it was quite busy in the main dining areas and bar. Our server was Francisco and they were great through and through (even gave me a great drink recommendation/modification). We started with the Nordic Thunder and Train Hopper drinks and the fried quail. We also ordered the fennel sausage pizza (+ fancy ranch and hot honey) and the stuffed shells with seafood cream sauce. Everything we had was 10/10 AMAZING. I'm so so happy that I finally got to try this restaurant and add it to my list of favorites. As far as the decor and aesthetics, the interior front is quite small but the back area is actually massive (including the patio). I loved the art work on the walls, the gender neutral restrooms and the neon light at the front. It really set a very artsy-decco vibe throughout. I would absolutely recommend anyone to come here - whether you grab a spot at the bar or reserve a table. I cannot wait to come back
It's been a minute since we've been here. We had a concert at Meow Wolf and decided to give it another try. We got the sausage pizza, quail, beet salad, ice cream with a shot, and the frozen cherry cola drink. Can I just say that the food was fantastic and the service excellent? Pizza was very very good. The winner out of the food items was the quail. It was juicy, perfectly breaded, and the ranch and dill helped to round out the dish. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. We were able to park across the street and just walk over. Place was packed and others were waiting even for our 830 reservation and in the rain.
Tiny Champions is one of those spots that lives up to the hype. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. What I ordered: * Fried quail -- perfectly crunchy and tender, with a sauce that complemented it well * Braised butter beans -- a surprise standout; savory with a subtle smoky flavor, bright dill, balanced by creamy ricotta and crunchy croutons (and I'm not even a bean person) * Salami piccante pizza -- spicy pepperoni, hot honey, and ricotta; simple, balanced, and not overly spicy (mild) The atmosphere was relaxed and social with a steady crowd, but it never felt too loud. Sat outside in the evening and it was a really nice vibe. Service was great--kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. Heads up: street parking only, and make a reservation. It was packed on a Friday night. Easy repeat spot.

Tiny Champions came recommended by a couple of my friends for my visit to Houston and I was very excited to try it. I definitely wasn't disappointed! The weather was gorgeous so we sat outside on the back patio, which was beautiful! Our server was friendly and attentive. I started with a local root beer, which my server recommended and it was very tasty. For starters, we got the focaccia which came a bit overcooked, but was so good it didn't matter. The chunks of roasted garlic were decadent and delicious. Would've loved a sauce to dip it in but it was still delicious as-is. My absolute favorite dish and the thing I'll remember most from my visit to Houston was the braised butter beans. I want to bathe in that dish. I wish it had come out first so I could've used the focaccia to soak up all the yummy sauce. We finished with the Greens pizza (ricotta cream sauce, mixed seasonal greens, mozzarella, pickled garlic) which was like taking a white pizza up a notch with an explosion of flavors. And it had greens on it so it's basically a salad. All in all this was probably my favorite meal in Houston and I'll definitely eat here next time I visit! read more

Tiny champions is always a good idea. MAKE RESERVATIONS. The menu updates seasonly and I love how they put flavors together. This was my first time trying their salami pizza and citrus salad and it was delicious. The Brie was also delicious. Make sure you get the braised butter beans - you won't regret it. The pizza is amazing and the fancy ranch is a good dipping sauce. The atmosphere is dim lit and romantic. They also have a great wine list and craft cocktails. There is free street parking. read more
My friend loves Tiny Champions and they are honestly so packed all the time. I was able to get reservations for the patio on a Saturday night and luckily they have heaters outside to keep you warm since it was a bit chilly. Service was okay. It got a little slow when we were trying to leave, but we enjoyed our waiter (he was nice). We ordered: - Saffron Casarecce- (has lamb) and it was actually very yummy. Definitely know it's lamb meat, but it was cooked perfectly. I actually liked the noodles they used too. - Thinly Sliced Pineapple Pizza- it was okay. The crust was good, but it wasn't the best pizza I have ever had. The price is steep, so I don't think it's really worth it. - Fennel Sausage Pizza- my husband said it was good, but he felt like it was missing something.... For the pizza, we got the garlic chili oil to also dip the crust in. Super good! For dessert, my husband got the coffee ice cream sundae with lil donuts, and it was my favorite part of the dinner! Absolutely delicious. Perfect amount of "coffee" and had chocolate. The lil donuts were the best touch.. definitely recommend. Loved the vibe of this place. I really wanted to like the place but it did not live up to the hype. We didn't have a reservation so we waited 30 minutes for a table which wasn't that bad. Both hostess checked on us throughout the 30 minutes and kindly offered us beverages. I thought the mozzarella balls were good, however it wasn't special about them. We ordered a pizza fennel sausage pizza and I thought it was decent (5/10). I was kinda underwhelmed tbh with the taste of the food. The weirdest part about this place was their drinks, I've never been to a restaurant where they serve you a soda can, and still charge you for refills. Kinda classless in my opinion but whatever. I wanted to be wowed since this place had such great reviews but I left hungry. I I give the place 2/5 only bc the service was super friendly but other than that I wouldn't recommend this place. read more
I honestly thought Tiny Champions was a daycare center the first time I heard it. But when think about, the name is consistent with their vibe and concept as a cozy local spot with fantastic, very well thought out food and drinks. I was visiting a friend in Houston, and she had suggested Tiny Champions because she heard good things about it. We went for dinner around 6pm on a Thursday. There were still some open tables, but it was getting busy and the place felt very much alive. The menu is well curated, with a variety of small plates, pastas, and pizzas. Our server was attentive and helpful answering our questions and providing recommendations. We started off with cocktails, which all had dreamy names and a fascinating concoction of ingredients. I got the CRUISE CONTROL (mezcal, tequila, carrot, lemon, coriander, pineapple, port) and my friend got one of the non-alcoholic drinks that they were able to make into a cocktail. I expected mine to be more earthy, and it turned out to be more mild on the mezcal/tequila and more pineapple fruity predominant. Both drinks turned out so pretty with vivid layered colors. The food was definitely the highlight, and each dish we got was so unique and memorable. (++) Mushroom salad - It literally showed up looking like a pile of snow from the fine powdery parmesan. They weren't kidding when the menu described "shaved cremini", since the mushrooms were sliced paper thin. I think it was designed to be similar to a carpaccio, especially with the tart vinegar and olive oil. (+++) Radiator pasta - Arguably one of the best pasta dishes I've had in my lifetime. The octopus and pasta were both cooked perfectly to a nice al dente texture. I also loved how the shape of the radiator pasta was so good at soaking up the fiery flavors from the calabrese chili and herbal garlicky gremolata. (++) Greens pizza - How to order a pizza and feel less guilty? Order something called the greens pizza lol. Featuring pickled garlic, this was a very tasty white pizza with ricotta and mozzarella melting in a layer of roasted baked mixed greens. It was a tad bit more oily than I'd like (due to all the cheese), but so indulgent and satisfying. The crust also tased very fresh. Other notable thoughts: *Happy hour Tues-Thurs 5-6pm! *Street parking in the area is quite easy *They have patio and indoor seating *Sort of wish they had brighter lighting for food pics, but the dim shadowy candle flickers creates an elegant ambiance Thank you for the wonderful dinner! Had a great time. Went for the first time on a Sunday night and it's deceptively large inside. The patio was beautiful. It was a cold night but the heaters were on and that made a big difference. Seemed to be a little wait but there was no wait for the patio. The radiator pasta dish was so good. The octopus was perfectly charred. Pasta cooked perfectly. We had the fennel sausage pizza--so good, soft but crispy crust--and the olives app. The olives are a must. Has a glass of the cab to top it all off. Our waiter was great. Very friendly and attentive. Our food came out very quickly. I also appreciated that when a friend left his card after paying, an employee called me immediately, and called twice because I didn't answer at first. Thank you! read more
As much as I've been holding off on writing this review, I think it's time. I didn't want to write a review because I didn't want it to get too popular. LOL. But that's not fair cause I want the world to know how damn good Tiny Champions is. Tiny Champions has been a staple rotation in mine and my boyfriend's meal night out. This was our second date spot when we first met and we've been coming back ever since. A year later and we still love this spot. We love to come for happy hour for their half off pizzas and cheap $3 cocktails. There was a time where we came 4 weeks in a row and we realized...we love this place so much. Here's what we love to order (religiously) lmao Smoked Mozzarella Balls - lord have mercy!!! do not skip on this!!! we love this so much, we have to have it every time we come. Its freaking cooked to perfection, the amount of breading to gooey ratio is PERFECT. It comes with a small cup of marinara sauce to go with the balls and ooomph. SO GOOD. so so so so so good flavor bomb. pls just get it. Fennel Sausage Pizza - The pizzas here are so good. It's thin, its crunchy, it's filling, its SO DELICIOUS. We love a good thin pizza with a good bite of crust. Perfect amount of toppings and flavor. We said to each other that the banana peppers peppers gave it a good tang to it as well. We try to venture out to try other of the pizza items but we just keep coming back to the fennel sausage. Ask for their hot sauce. It's homemade and it slaps. Ricotta Dreamsicle - OH MY GOD. With or without alcohol, this is probably one of the best summer drinks to ever hit your tastebuds. A true dreamsicle. For $3 on the HH menu, what a steal. Evil Eye - my boyfriend really loved this drink. its refreshing, and enough for him to want another. When you arrive, they usually ask you if you have a reservation, but every time we've come, we don't have one. We're usually seated and its not too busy. But then again we love to come during HH. The times we've come has been perfect weather so we always opt for the patio seating in the back. When that sunset hits, you best know I whip out that camera for that good pizza angle. As Nancy's Hustle's sister restaurant, Tiny Champions still has been our favorite. read more
Drinks - 11/10. We loved every one of our cocktails, they were so unique and delicious. We got the puzzle piece, mini boss and winners circle with a shot of mezcal. Apps - mid. Prosciutto was good but very simple. The burrata was good too but both weren't amazing. Salad - mushrooms were soooo simple and didn't taste amazing. Don't order. The beans were pretty tasty tho and nice on a cold night. Pasta - casarecce was interesting. The pasta and lamb was delicious but the olives were a bit overwhelming. It felt like it needed something else and less olives. Pizza - we loved the pizzas. We got the fennel sausage and pineapple, both were delicious and loved the crust. Also definitely get the fancy ranch! Overall it was pretty good, not mind blowing. If yelp had half's I'd give it a 3.5 instead of a 4. Would like to go back and try some other dishes though! We had a great time at tiny champions! We came at 5:30 to catch the Happy Hour, I really enjoyed the musical chairs cocktail, which at $6 I thought was a good deal! We also ordered the pepperoni and greens pizzas from the Happy Hour menu, they were half off and it was enough to feed four people. I also LOVED the braised butter beans, they are to die for, I would honestly go back just for that. The inside is super cute, a bit on the louder side but still pleasant! This was my favorite meal on my last visit to Houston. I was able to make a last minute reservation on a weeknight through Resy and came here with two others. Their menu changes somewhat frequently so some of these items might no longer be available but we ordered: - Ricotta Creamsicle - Salami - Green Salad - Fried Chicken - Pesto Pasta - Mortadella Pizza - The cherry plum mostarda (candied fruit with a mustard flavored syrup) was unexpected but surprisingly tasty! - Fancy Ranch - Ice Cream Cake There wasn't a single thing we ordered that I didn't like but my favorites were the Pizza, Pasta, and Fried Chicken. Great ambiance! It's not easy to just walk in, you will definitely need a reservation. We went before a baseball game and it was the perfect meal, and close to the stadium. The feta dip and pepperoni pizza was the perfect about of food for two people. They also had some fun cocktails. read more

After driving past this place tens of times and having several friends recommend their pizza over the course of a few months I finally managed to stop by for a date night with my girlfriend. We didn't attempt to use their parking lot but we were able to park very close by on the street with no issues. We had a reservation at 8 and although the place was busy, it seemed to have ample seating to accommodate walking in if need be. The ambiance was dark and the décor was eclectic, with a bunch of vintage light fixtures and decorations. It had a very comfortable, homey vibe. The menu is relatively small, which I actually appreciate, and I thought it was very cool that their menu and ingredients shift to take advantage of what produce is in season. We grabbed a glass of wine and opted to try the Radiator Pasta ($26) and the Salami Pizza ($23). Both dishes came out within maybe 15 minutes. The Radiator Pasta was certainly very unique, the large intricate shape of the pasta had a unique mouthfeel, the braised octopus was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the sauce complimented everything nicely. The Salami Pizza was also very good, with the dabs of ricotta and hot honey both adding a very unique and delicious twist. I also liked that the dough itself was a little on the lighter side. By the end of the meal my girlfriend and I left feeling very satisfied but not overly stuffed. Tiny Champions comes off as very approachable and unpretentious while still offering an upscale taste. I am excited to return soon to try out a few more of their menu items. read more

Not sure how I'm just getting around to a review because we've been here like 6 times. Not gonna lie this is our new favorite pizza in Houston. The salami piccante to be exact with added pepperoni and jalepenos if you like spicy. It's drizzled with hot honey so it's a super balanced flavorful perfectly textured piece of pizza. Nice blisters of crisp and crunch on the crust makes it a pizza you want to devour for yourself but One is perfect to split with someone. We love the cabbage salad as it adds a nice healthy touch to the pizza. Overall a busy and bustling place with a great selection of food! read more

I have been trying to go here for quite some time, but never seems to work out. Finally went with my girlfriend and her parents the other night. It was great! First, make sure you get reservations if you are going during a busy time. Also parking can be bad, might have to walk. I lucked out with princess parking right in front of the restaurant. The service was great. She was a little odd, but everything seemed to run smoothly. Nobody had a specialty cocktail, but my beer was super cold just as I like I like it. The food was delicious! We started with the cabbage salad. Doesn't' sound that great, but trust me it is! The dressing was a hit. This was followed by the campanelli pasta, which was also another hit at our table. We finished off with a ricotta cream base pizza (didn't sound very good, but was so good) and the 'nduja pizza (this was great, but way more peppery than I thought it would be). Nobody was wowed by the dessert option, so we passed. Would I go back? Definitely! Strongly encourage you to go during HH every Tuesday to Thursday from 5-6, they have 1/2 priced pizzas along with Oysters and drinks on special. read more

My new favorite restaurant in Houston. The vibes are so perfect (my favorite combo of a nice place but with casual energy). The drinks are yummy but a classic Diet Coke is what the meal here requires. Service has always been swift and kind. Food wise you can't go wrong (or at least I have not yet even after 3 visits). Top items: 1. Mixed seasonal greens pizza with fancy ranch is a must 2. Baked feta or (and) crispy pork belly 3. Ricotta tortellini if you want a pasta I can't wait to go back and try more, truly! read more

What a find! #tinychampions @giantlosers in #eado was legit!!! Don't sleep on this joint a day if you're headed out on Fri/Sat'ish book a table in advance. We sat at the bar, and I failed to get iur bartenders name, but he was on-point with his drink recs, and watching the bar team run service and bar was pretty amazing. They have their ish together! Food came out right on time...not a min too soon and not a min late. Atmosphere is legit and music was spot on. The old school Bose speakers were a great hidden treasure to see (in my opinion). Between 2: 5 drinks, a pizza, 2 small bites approx $140 + tip. Average for us on a Fri night. With only one tiny sign in the window, TC is humble for the bold flavors on their masterful menu. I loved every bite! The pizza didn't even need the ranch which is a shame bc it was delicious and featured capers (my fav)! Their sodas all came in glass bottles which get extra points for me, and the Mexican chocolate sauce on the coffee ice cream and donut holes is out of this world! The restaurant feels like an elevated hole in the wall with charming details. read more

Came here for an early Friday dinner, plenty of street parking available around. Similar vibe and wall arts compare to its sister restaurant Nancy's Hustle. The focaccia and the fried scamorza was great for appetizers. We shared couple different pizzas and pasta dishes. The pasta tastes freshly made with nice texture. The pizzas are solid, our favorite one out of the 3 ordered was the roasted summer squash pizza, however, less impressive compare to some of the competitions in town (4/5 compare to Gypsy Poet). read more

I almost don't want to review TC; it's a hidden, not so secret, secret place that locals love and it's already hard enough to get into when I want to. But saying that, this place deserves ALL the love and respect they can get! Always with a smile, and something different for your palette. Their pizzas are the best in the city, and you can argue with someone else on this, because I'm not even entertaining the conversation! Pro tip: don't sleep on the butter beans. ;-) read more

Nothing but good things to say about this spot! Pizza is good and the crust is flaky where it needs to be and soft where it needs to be. The specialty seasonal pizzas are always delicious, and I always get a side of the house ranch to dip the crust in (very middle school of me, but it's delicious, trust). The pastas are good as well. Drinks here are well crafted and thought out. I'm a huge fan of the tiny hammer. The fried scarmoza is also a favorite of mine. Basically fancy mozzarella sticks but still so delicious and unique. Service is solid. I've been here about 5 times now and every experience has been great except one. Trendy vibes. Dark inside. Good for dates. read more
