Our favorite restaurant in Oregon. We have been going there for our special occasions for at least 10 years and we are always thrilled. Our family of 5 just celebrated my husband's 84th birthday. We all had 5 star meals. The Brussel sprout appetizer is delicious! We have it every time and the pate was great. The duck, scallops and the special of smoked ribeye all exceeded our expectations. The service is fabulous: welcoming and efficient. For us it is a financial splurge restaurant but we always feel it is worth it. I cannot recommend Tina's enough! read more

Service and ambience always very nice. Making reservations ahead is a must for pretty much everyone, but especially for groups greater than 6. Also: remember they are closed M, T - so you must call Wednesday or after or use an online booking. This said, if you have a group for more than 5 , you must call them as reservations for more people must be by phone. We come here once a year it seems. This time some food was not prepared well vis a vis seasoning and/or level of cooking. This may be on a one off, but be very specific with your requests - even for standard items - including salad & sides. It is better to ask than to be disappointed given the cost. read more

Tina's was absolutely outstanding! The service, the food, the ambiance, the little attention to details makes this place far above and beyond pretty much anywhere else I have been. We were sitting at the table having a discussion-- going through all of the fine dining places we've been to around Portland and the Metro area and just for fun we started ranking them on all of the aforementioned categories. We looked at each other and agreed that Tina's just blew them all out of the water! It is our new #1 across the board. Suffice it to say, I recommend you go check them out. The exterior can be deceiving. This restaurant is fantastic and absolutely cozy and welcoming inside. One of the best meals I've ever enjoyed, with the ambience and service to match. Michael helped us choose the perfect local wine and the dessert martinis were terrific. We had scallops, roasted Brussels sprouts and crème brûlée- all top notch and cooked perfectly. Tina's focuses on customer service, so definitely make a reservation. They are unique in that they will only book tables that they can support that evening. They refuse to overbook and fill tables if a staff member is out and they cannot provide the high quality service they seek to achieve. A true gem in this day and age. The staff, food and ambience were all amazing, for that I give it 5 stars. Walking into the restaurant I would give 1 star. Lots of pots and planters all with brown dead plants and a fountain wrapped in cheap fake flowers. Your patio needs a major face lift. Tina's - New American Near Me - Dundee, Oregon

In June 2020, during the height of Covid, my wife and I dined at Tina's and had a wonderful time. In August 2026, we returned. What a difference! Tina's must be doing well, judging from the general busyness...and the prices, and we did have a nice time, but it was distinctly odd. Walking in, the first thing that struck us was the music, which was louder than we think it should be to be able to carry on a conversation. Then, we were approached not by a single server, but by a series of servers, which did not lend itself to developing a relationship that service could build from. When one of the servers approached, to take our order, she said something to the effect of "what can I course you with?", which confused us. When she was asked what she meant, she made it clear she was asking to take our order. We asked why she used the language she did, to which she replied this is because Tina's is "fine dining". The menu was okay, but it did not include salads that could be ordered separately, which my wife was hoping to order to go along with an order of oysters. Salads are included with entries, but not separately. The entries we ordered, a souffle for my wife and a filet mignon for me (including salads for each of us), were fine but not spectacular, despite the aggressive pricing. Lastly, when one of the wait staff dropped off our check, she said in passing "service is included". Sure enough. A 20% gratuity was on the tab, surprisingly. We had seen no notice of that, but maybe we missed one that was posted. Overall, a disappointing return visit to a restaurant we had enjoyed in 2020. Things change, of course. We likely will not return. We wish Tina's well. read more

My husband took me there for a birthday dinner with another couple and we had the best time. Tina's has an excellent wine selection, which is a must given its location, but the food was also incredible. The presentation, taste and service was excellent, and I just loved the ambience of the place - set in a small house-like dining room, the setting is intimate and cozy. It's rare to find a small operation that excels on every level: savory dishes, desserts, wines, and service. No RAW onions, shallots and scallions, but cooked is ok like in a broth etc." Only truffles are on their menu. Within 23 min of booking the reservation I received this. They didn't ask for clarifications they basically said dont come here. They are a little to big for their britches I would say. At the recommendation of Archery Wine expert, Barry, my husband and I stopped for dinner at Tina's on our way back home. I am still savoring my meal of watermelon-mint gazpacho and perfectly seasoned and perfectly grilled skirt steak. May have been my first try of gazpacho and this one has made me a fan. Even to butter for the bread was special. Our service was informed, friendly and attentive. The decor and music fit our mood and the ambiance of the wine country. A Special Night at Tina's in Dundee   My wife and I recently had the chance to enjoy dinner at Tina's in Dundee, and it was one of those evenings that just felt special from start to finish.   The atmosphere was spot-on--beautiful décor that felt both cozy and refined, and the music set just the right mood without being distracting. You could tell a lot of thought went into creating a space that's welcoming and relaxing.   We started with the ceviche, which was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we shared the smoked ribeye, and wow; it was perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and plated like something out of a fine dining magazine. But the real surprise was dessert: a homemade coconut cake served with from-scratch ice cream and a rich chocolate ganache that looked as good as it tasted. It was the kind of dessert you think about later and wish you had more of.   The owners were onsite and genuinely a pleasure to talk with; friendly, passionate, and clearly invested in making each guest's night memorable. They even selected a perfect port to pair with our dessert, and it brought the whole experience together in a really thoughtful, memorable way.   If you're looking for a great spot for a date night or just a relaxing evening out, Tina's is absolutely worth the visit. Tina's is an amazing restaurant and great place to eat after a day of wine tasting. Upon entering the restaurant it feels very intimate and welcoming. The restaurant is laid out very well with tables not too close. Our table had a handmade sign with our name that the owner makes, being held by a champagne top that looked like a chair. Such a cute touch. The staff gets an A+, they were genuine, friendly and checked on us the right amount. They handled some inpatient/ rude guests with kindness and professionalism. I know this is a wine town but the cocktails are some of the best I've had. I had a vesper martini and my wife had a blueberry martini. We both could have had enough to be walking back to our hotel. But since we came here for wine, we opted to have wine with our entrees. We had the crispy salmon rolls, which was one of the most creative appetizers I recall having. It eat like an egg roll but with flaky salmon. We both had the salad, which comes with each entree. I really appreciated that salad or soup and in-house focaccia comes with your entree. I had the bone-in pork chop which was perfectly cooked. My wife had the seafood risotto, which tonight was with crispy skin salmon. The skin was so crispy you could hear the crunch. Now that we know they can get skin so crispy I will be having the duck next time. We were both too full for dessert. All in all it was a great meal and I'll 100% be coming back. read more

A Dining Experience for Sure!! We are in town for Daughter's wedding and we wanted an evening of Romance for ourselves because we were celebrating our anniversary as well. This was the perfect establishment for us! Atmosphere was warm, welcoming and elegant. We were greeted with sparkling wine to enjoy while seated & viewing the menu! The staff was really the Stars of the evening- Mohammad, Ryan, and Dawn were Outstanding as were all the others that touched/served our table. We felt so pampered and attended to- like no other restaurant. It wasn't too much- just SO PERFECT! Fantastic wine selections of course and the menu was difficult to decide on what delicious meal to explore! We went with Ryan's suggestion for our appetizer- a Mushroom Truffle concoction that was to die for- beware its Rich!! Salad was so fresh it was like it was freshly picked for you! The entree of Beef Tenderloin was so tender it practically melted in your mouth!!! A sorbet for a cleanse of the palate and we were in Heaven!! Sweet personal touches were appreciated as well!! read more

Last time we went to Tina's was three years ago, and thought we'd see same level of quality - yet we feel it was a pretty big miss for the money. We had a great cocktail (Paper Plane delivered by the bar keep to the table) and the Bordeaux that was on the main offering menu - both started the dinner well. We were looking forward to the calamari appetizer but alas, not available and transitioned to the mushroom choice. Decadent and the crostini bread accompaniment was perfect. Then the server came for supper order. The server recommended the special steak instead of the fillet on the menu, and my wife chose that. I went with the sea bass because the scallops were not available, and I ordered the soup (Potato and Leek) and wife went with salad. In the meanwhile we did receive a loaf of sourdough and seasoned butter - very nice while we enjoyed the mushroom appetizer. Now for the pain points, the soup was all but tasteless, and with no salt on the table ... just a total miss, wasn't flavorful with a direction of leeks or potatoes - maybe warm cream? The saving grace was the very small shavings of potato peel garnish floating in the middle that gave it some level of intent beyond the color. The special steak was a grinding clunk. It was tough, way too chewy and had quite a bit of grizzle. The steak fries with the truffle oil flair were better than expected but not when the steak should have carried the meal. My sea bass portion was smaller than expected but seasoned and tasteful. The risotto offering was a stand-up triple and save the meal (and was the difference for the third star I have rated). For the price of this meal, I expected far better composition and quality - and contrasting from our last five star experience very lackluster for a special event. We skipped the desserts because instead of a "wow" we felt semi-ripped off. Why extend with $15-$20 a piece desserts (and she loves crème brulee') Service and décor, ambiance and staff were all fine but the food itself was the miss (and the price incongruent with that). For $265, there are far better choices locally and within the same drive distance to experience ... We'll have to cross this one off and as you know - reputation is everything. Do better - it wasn't the owners (both were there) it was the chef or staff in the kitchen. That steak that was a special ruined the meal for us, in addition to the soup, and on the way home we commiserated on not sending it back - should have. read more

Exquisite. Every single thing we ate and drank was fabulous! The entire experience was a solid 10. Without exception, the best dining experience and food that I've had in years! I will never go to or pass through Dundee without stopping at Tina's for lunch or dinner, it's just that good and I already want to go back! It was a gorgeous day in wine country and we capped our day of tastings at Tina's, choosing to sit indoors on a chilly night. Tables were very far apart and all precautions- masks, hand sanitizer, social distancing - were taken. The interior is absolutely charming with a cozy, sophisticated, yet super comfortable aesthetic. When they are able to open up the Bar area, you will find me on one of the bar stools! We sat in the back area by a window across from the fireplace. Cocktails were delivered promptly and my margarita was on point. All fresh, no bottled sickeningly sweet mixer here! It was the perfect way to start the meal. We opted for the Brussel Sprouts as a starter and after the first bite, we both had to put our forks down so we could oooh and aahh and discuss how incredibly delicious they were. I can never eat a brussel sprout anywhere else again! The brussel sprouts were cut in half and deep fried along with capers. They were then tossed in a citrusy vinaigrette with pickled red onions and sliced jalapeño, topped with a few fried beet chips. The combination of salty, sour, citrus plus the textures created a phenomenal taste sensation! We devoured every morsel. When I complimented Dawn on the incredible brussel sprouts, she told me she also made the magical margarita, I then asked her to marry me! And I'm straight. For dinner my friend had the beef tenderloin with shaved portobello mushrooms and mashed potatoes. I chose the rack of lamb with potato Anna and asparagus. Both meats were ordered and arrived perfectly medium rare and were clearly high quality. The salad that game with the meal was dressed perfectly with a lemony vinaigrette , roasted hazelnuts and parmesan. each in just the right proportion, nothing lacking or overdone. Simple and so satisfying. Even the bread and salted butter that came on the house was delicious; I ate way more then I typically would. Even though we were in Pinot land, we decided on a Chateauneuf-du-Pape which was truly the perfect compliment to our meals. We were completely satisfied and satiated but couldn't pass on sharing a desert since up until this point, everything was so exceptional. The chocolate mouse cake was phenomenal and the sweet and appropriate ending to our meal. The entire staff was friendly, professional, available without being intrusive, and added to the wonderful evening. Each course was plated beautifully with every ingredient highlighted and selected with care. Dawn and Michael visitEd our table and both were charming and humble as we gushed about the food and drinks. Fabulous in every way, I am already looking forward to my next visit!!! read more

I went to Tina's for a birthday dinner this weekend and loved the homey atmosphere it holds. We had a group of 8 and I was pleasantly surprised how well the staff was able to efficiently manage our orders, splitting of checks, and space at the table in a pretty small restaurant. I ordered the beef tenderloin with rosemary potatoes instead of mashed, the rosemary potatoes ended up being one of my favorite things. The Brussels sprouts appetizer and the fresh bread alone were worth the visit. My only downside of this spot is that the parking lot is really tight, one person did not pull in far enough and it prevented anyone else from getting in the parking lot so we had to enter through the exit. We alerted the staff, since this is on a busy road and it wasn't very easy to navigate, but we saw other cars doing the same thing so it didn't appear they did anything about it. As it was, the spots are tight and very close to the building. Not an ideal parking lot, and if I were to go again I'd highly suggest parking elsewhere even if it's a bit of a haul to walk in. read more

So after reading all the positive reviews, esp. Kim G's, I made a reservation for this gem. Had friends come into town from the East Coast and we capped off the long weekend with dinner here. Since we'd hiked the entire Silver Falls, we were all pretty hungry. Ordered and thoroughly enjoyed every app on the menu! I definitely ordered the lamb chops which lived up to all the raves and reviews. The only thing that was missing was the mint jelly which they did not need, whatsoever. Everything was bursting with flavor, including my Dalva 20 year tawny for my after dinner aperitif... YUM. It's literally morning time, and my mouth is watering just thinking about it all. Wonderful, prompt, friendly service all around. Tight quarters and parking, but we'll worth squeezing in for a bite. Can't wait to go back! read more

Top-notch service was the biggest thing I noticed when we left Tina's. The second our water was low, or our glass of wine was empty, one of the servers was there to help refill. You of course have your main waitress that takes your order and seats you, but the rest of the staff is constantly checking in and making sure your experience is top-notch. As a business owner, that is an excellent sign of management and culture. This location is not the biggest, yet all their servers were constantly moving and helping every table. For our meal, we split two appetizers and split the beef tenderloin. A bite of the beef tenderloin with the demi-glace and little potatoes is perfect. I'm usually not big on extra sauces on my steak, but every item on the plate works so well together. One of the best features of Tina's is their extensive list of local wines. We ordered a great bottle of Pinot from the area, and it was delicious. Tina's is your spot if you're having a special occasion or looking for a nice dinner out. Personally, I think it should be THE spot. We ate here the day before our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sadly, on the day of our anniversary, we ate at a restaurant in Newberg that is raved about, and it was awful. If you want to see which one, it won't be hard to check my reviews and see... If I had to include any negative about the location, it's the small parking lot, but that's the same for all the restaurants in the area. The area isn't commercialized, and the parking lots are not the biggest. It's not even an issue if you're coming to this area. read more

Talk about a wonderful little spot with great food and service! This was a lovely find! The wine expert at Domaine Roy & Fils recommended the mushroom appetizer and it was so good! Went here on day two of our 35th Anniversary and what a neat little place. Staff did a first class job making sure we felt welcome and were taken care and made good recommendations as well. This is a place that gets real busy and I would highly recommend making reservations in advance. Parking can be tight but we just parked across the street. Worth the price in my book. read more
