This is a newly opened amazing place that's affiliated with one of our favorite local spots, Humble Spirit. So as soon as we got to town and heard about it we had to try it out. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Food was amazing, we had the smash burger, fried chicken sandwich and order several of the sides. All the sauces they provide are so flavorful. Our favorites were the hogwash and the hot sauce. All were perfect! Ordered a cocktail and some wine, again when it comes to cocktails their bartenders know their stuff. We sat at the bar and chatted with one of their bartenders Jeremy. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The renovation they did to the space is lovely. Not super bright, it's got a nice lounge vibe with several different type of seating. Great music playing. Just all around a great place. If I had this in my home town I would be here easily every week or more!

Cold food, dirty tables and silverware, and lousy service. That's why Yamhill County is a Scamhill. Enough said.

This is McMinnville and it deserves an identity all to itself and the pub and Humble Spirit understand it.

I've never been to a wine bar or restaurant that refuses to let guests taste wines before committing to a full pour, especially at their price point. Yet the bartender here would not allow us to taste anything. Since tasting wasn't permitted, I asked him about the wines to help guide our choices, and he still couldn't answer basic questions. The few descriptions he offered were inaccurate, and we ended up purchasing wine we didn't enjoy at an overpriced rate, which is exactly why tasting is standard practice in this industry. To make matters worse, the bartender had an attitude and was not friendly or welcoming. With so many great wine bars in walking distance, you'd expect a higher level of customer service. Clearly that's not a priority here. And one more strange detail: they advertise that they have records, but you are not allowed to pick the records they play... Overall an incredibly disappointing visit. I wouldn't recommend this place when there are so many better options nearby.

There's also a little wine bar (about 6 seats) that Jack sits behind pouring drinks. He has a chalkboard with the day's menu...which was 5 red choices and 5 white choices. He literally gave us a 30 minute rundown of every single glass with who the wine makers where, where they vacationed, how they picked their childrens' names...well, okay, maybe not that much detail, but nearly! The wines aren't cheap (I think it was $12 - $28 for one glass!)...but boy were they delicious. He said they also do a dinner there on the weekends, and get live jazz too..but apparently you're not allowed to talk during jazz or they take your picture and put it up as a bad person. Ha! I love this guy! Will definitely come back on our next wine tasting trip!

We got here a bit early on the weekday at 2:50p. They open at three so we waited until they opened. They had some great lunch specials. I had the turkey club with a salad. It was good. I'd never seen tomatoes on a club before but it was good. They had a variety of drinks but we stuck to tea and soda as it was a work day. This looks like a great place for cocktails. Now that I got the bad taste in my mouth from former friends I will definitely be back.

Even when I tried to pay the second round, she told the bartender not to accept my payment. haha Even if I had paid, I would still like this place and their cocktails. It is a nice atmosphere, not too loud, comfortable seating, warm whimsical decorations, friendly service, and clean bathrooms. They have a large list of cocktails, mocktails and other non-alcoholic beverages, as well as beer and wine. They can make all the traditional cocktails. A regular told me the manhattan is top notch, but the cherries aren't the best he's seen. Cherry seemed alright to me. They also have several house cocktails and a few specials to choose from. Between us 4, we tried several different cocktails. We even tried the house cocktail designed for the bitterest of liqueurs, Jeppson's Malört. All were deemed tasty by all! They offer several food items from a full kitchen, including appetizers, sandwiches, salads, breakfast, and dinner. They even have veggie burger, gluten free crackers, and gluten free (GF) fried chicken! ! ! Free parking on the street. No minors allowed, bummer...l'd like it better if kids were allowed, but it's so good it's gets the 5th star. If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!
