Tasty brunch spot in the heart of McMinnville. This is located on the corner and shared space with Atticus Hotel. The even have service outside at the picnic tables. Service was top notch and attentive. If you can make reservations because the seating is limited. They do have some seating at the bar. Mediterranean food done right, very flavorful. Prices a bit on the higher side so plan accordingly.

Ended up coming here for lunch. When we arrived we were the only ones there but it did eventually fill up. Really cute atmosphere. We started with the mezza plate. The labneh was gold. Don't see it on too many plates but I don't get why not. Yummy hummus. Nice silky texture and good flavor. Definitely tops. Dolmas were good. The innards were a little soft but it didn't taste like can. So that's a plus. We got the falafel. I like the texture. Not too soft. A little crispiness. I like the surface area ratio. The only bummer was the lamb kebab. Over cooked and pretty tough. Regretting ordering it. The carrots were awesome. A must order. Once we had finished them. We dipped in the labneh and the dregs of the carrots. Oh yeah. That's the stuff. Winner. I wanted the gyro but in my opinion a good gyro is a private thing. Maybe another time for takeout.

We wanted to like Cypress, but, boy, they couldn't get out of their own way. We had a reservation (for four adults) which we confirmed earlier that day from their text prompt. We arrived on time, and they shared that they didn't have our table ready. They invited us to sit in their waiting area (the lobby of the hotel they're attached to) while our table was becoming free. They offered to get us drinks from the bar while we waited and that alone took 20 minutes. Five minutes later (25 minutes AFTER our reservation time), we were brought to our table. Needless to say, we were disappointed. We were put at a high top table on a side shoot of the restaurant. Not only was it next to their bar service station, but also next to the self-service fridge for anyone to access. Our server then rushed us and became borderline pushy as we ordered various plates (there was no request we put our order in all at once or that we had a designated time duration at our table). We got the halloumi special (smaller portion than expected), olives (came out warm which was a nice touch), and lamb and chicken kebobs (one each; the chicken was super dry). We forwent the dessert since we felt nothing was drastically going to improve. All in all, not a great meal or experience which was a big bummer.

Went for dinner with a group of girlfriends and had an awesome time. Drinks were fantastic and food was amazing. Service was excellent! Definitely would recommend and visit again.

I can't say ENOUGH great things about the experience at Cypress, the staff, the space, the food - 5 stars all around! We had a private dinner at the restaurant and the event exceeded all expectations! Here are the highlights: Food: Incredible. From the appetizers to the dessert, everything was on point and delicious. The stars of the show were the Burrata salad (the flavors exploded in your mouth), the Grilled Bavette (with the outstanding yukon potatoes), and the decadent Flourless Chocolate Torte. Big shout out to Travis, the head chef, who personalized the menu for us and engaged with guests Staff: Amazing. Everyone was super customer focused, from the bartenders to the wait staff - flawless hospitality. Extra thanks to Ben, the manager, for his hands on approach with planning, coordinating and ensuring not only a special space, but a special night. Space: Classy. The inside space is stylish, sophisticated and had personalized touches for our event. What really impressed us is how the team accommodated our last minute request to alfresco dining and still provided a sleek and refined ambiance.

Excellent service, beautiful ambiance and delicious food! I love the colors, decor and all the greenery with the hanging plants throughout the restaurant. We dined early on a Sunday evening (holiday weekend) and got seated at the bar which has comfortable chairs. (This is an important detail as you get older and require proper seating to enjoy drinks or a meal, lol). We ordered drinks and the mezze plate with fries to start. And honestly that could have been our meal. But because we had just come from wine tasting we decided to order entrees as well. I got the grilled shrimp with polenta and my husband had the shawarma with a salad & fries. The food was beautiful, fresh and very tasty. Highly recommend!

This is a very good restaurant in a luxury hotel. It's a Mediterranean theme. We had falafel and lamb, a burger, and the Caesar salad. Everything was well done and enjoyable. The secret on the menu is the Turkish coffee. Something you don't find often and it's authentic! Great atmosphere. Spotlessly clean and friendly service.

My husband and I arrived at noon on Sunday, was greeted and then seated promptly. Staff was very friendly and the vibe was chill and relaxing. Ordered 2 gyros and iced lattes. Everything was delicious. I'd give it 5 out 5 stars, but thought it was slightly overpriced at $22 per gyro.

Favorite restaurant in McMinville! The cypress bowl is hands down the best bowl I've ever had! Delicious crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside falafels!

There was nothing that we ordered that wasn't to die for. Nothing I wouldn't order again and again and love every second of. This downtown little spot is perfectly located and as cute and welcoming as something can be. Live plants all over with unique lighting made for a fantastic experience. Our server was fantastic as well. Personal and attentive. We had an amazing experience!!

The food was so good we had to come twice in 3 days while on vacation in McMinnville, once for dinner and once for breakfast!! You will not be disappointed if Mediterranean cuisine is your jam. Service, decor, and ambiance were an additional nice touch to both meal experiences! For dinner, we shared the Meze plate, falafel, fries, parsley salad, and rose water sorbet. For breakfast, two of us got the 2 eggs anyway and I got the ful mudammas. We thought the falafel were perfect - a bit smaller than normal and tapered at the ends which we think allowed for a perfect crispy exterior. The meze plate had a good assortment of everything. The olives were very tasty! Fries were definitely too salty for all of us, but we did enjoy the condiments. We all loved breakfast, the eggs and potatoes were good and I loved the flavors in the ful mudammas.

We had an incredible meal here! We came in on a quiet Tuesday evening. We made reservations, which is a good idea because it's not a large space. The space itself is gorgeous! I just love the wall paper, fans, and plants, a really lovely vibe. I really loved the Mezze Plate, the beets and the muhammara were the standouts for me. It was the perfect way to start the meal. The charred carrots were absolute perfection. I loved the carrots and swiping our fries through the cheese the carrots were on was the best idea I had that night. We also loved the cauliflower with the bright and zesty sauce. It's fried, but you almost wouldn't know it because it's somehow still light at the same time. The chicken kebab were so moist and juicy. They were beautiful with some warm fluffy pita bread. Every single thing we ate was delicious! My absolute favorite part of the meal was the semolina and orange cake. It was warm, delicate, flavorful, and so well balanced. It's one of those things that you think about for days after you eat it. You definitely shouldn't skip dessert here. Stunning meal and wonderful service. I can't wait to come back!

I could loudly overheard the bartender and our server make a comment about my drink order. One other thing that was strange for us was how long it took someone to come over to get a drink order, while we looked over the menu. The atmosphere is definitely "loungy," but clean and warm. The lighting is low (perfect for hiding how much we eat) and the big tufted leather (faux, not sure, but very comfy) booths are great. Service is friendly and prompt, and if you are a regular you get an even friendlier greeting, like Norm from Cheers. We keep hoping someone will yell our name when we walk in, but so far, no luck. Lately, we opt for the bar countertop, which is harder to score than a winning lottery ticket on most nights at prime dinner time. This night, Noah was our server. He is always friendly and a genuinely nice person. Tonight, we heard about his vacation trip to see his grandmother in New Zealand--we were so engrossed we almost forgot to order our food! It amazes me how incredibly busy this bar restaurant is--full to the brim--and the staff (typically 2 servers/bartenders and 2 cooks) manage to stay friendly, tell stories, and never miss an order, check, or payout of a lottery ticket. Most nights when we go it's just Hailee working. How Hailee handles THE WHOLE BAR by herself is incredible to witness; we think she might be a magician. We love Noah, but Hailee is our favorite. The food is excellent; you can order anything on the menu and it will be good. We love the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Sandwich (sub soup, didn't know it was a $3 adder--my wallet had a mild heart attack, but it was worth it). The sandwich cost $10 and typically comes with a generous portion of fries or tots. The clam chowder was delicious, savory with lots of clams. The sandwich has a lot of gooey American cheese and the tomato slices are fresh and juicy; this meal is an incredible value at $10. We also love their club sandwich: turkey, bacon, tomato, lettuce, and cheese on toasted sourdough, $14, served with a generous portion of fries or tots. This lounge is for adults only (sorry, kids, no tots for you here) and a cash-only establishment (so hit the ATM first, unless you want to wash dishes). Blue Moon is a local favorite and is doing a wonderful job keeping the prices reasonable for a blue-collar community in a "bougie" neighborhood. If you're visiting McMinnville, stay away--this place is for locals only (kidding, not kidding). It's a five-star experience without the five-star prices.

Great spot, dark ambiance, strong drinks and the tables were cozy. Not much privacy when busy, if…read moreyou're looking for that.
