A palette teaser: a camomile tea elixir and a parmesan churro. The tea was very interesting- sweet.

(Apologies- this was a longer overdue review lost in my drafts folder. Ooops! ) What an exquisite dining experience! We discovered the Bay House by luck, after realizing that the Attic Bar and Lounge just changed their menu this week to all vegetarian. We were disappointed and hangry for a real carnivorous meal! Everything at the Bay House was phenomenal: The Host, our waiter, the drinks, the food and the atmosphere. An intimate setting, staged for only 12 tables/booth. The room is dimly lit, relying on nature light from the panel of large windows. A great view of the forest. Sorry, my photos are a bit off due to the intimate lighting. lol

We stayed at the Salishan Spa & Resort and decided to try out their one-of-a-kind The Bay House restaurant experience. We booked a wine-tasting event for a party of six, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The wine cellar was a delightful surprise, housing over 11,000 bottles, plus 4,000 more in the dining area, The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making the experience even more enjoyable. Our server was exceptional, and the food was perfect. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem inside the Salishan Spa & Resort. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a unique and memorable dining experience.

This has been the best meal of our lives. Chef Conan didn't disappoint. He is gold! The server and owner are delightful and fun. We just celebrated our 20th anniversary and we will never forget this meal!

What an amazing experience from start to finish! The staff is so kind, patient, and explained everything in detail. Our dinner was also fantastic. We chose the three course option and the flavors, presentation, and quality of ingredients were the best we've experienced in Oregon. It was my birthday, and they made it special in a way that wasn't instructive. Oh! The wine list is extensive as well - we enjoyed the free wine tasting beforehand in the wine room adjacent to the restaurant and found a new favorite cab. Thank you Steve and staff for helping create a special evening. I ordered: clams, beet salad, scallops - 100% recommend!

Our prom dinner was perfect here, yes they are a little pricey but so worth it all. My boyfriends sister is a pastry chef (I'm pretty sure) here and they made our night even more special with a complimentary bottle of nonalcoholic cider and dessert for us all to share and try together. Great memory, great time and great service!

Wow .. Just wow! One of the best dining experience we have had the pleasure of experiencing. The service we received alone gets 5 stars but what an enjoyable & delicious anniversary celebrations we have had. From the incredible chef Kevin to proprietor Steve and the remaining staff - Thank you all for a memorable & delightful experience. Will be back to try other menu items soon.

I'd never seen tomatoes on a club before but it was good. They had a variety of drinks but we stuck to tea and soda as it was a work day. This looks like a great place for cocktails. Now that I got the bad taste in my mouth from former friends I will definitely be back.

I ordered the day's specialty, Sam's Tacos--three freshly handmade tortillas filled with shrimp, bacon, and steak, served with a delicious spicy peanut sauce. Every bite was savory, flavorful, and completely worth the wait. Since everything is made fresh to order, don't expect your meal to arrive immediately. However, the quality more than makes up for the extra time. You can really taste the freshness and care that goes into each dish. My friend ordered the huevos rancheros and thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. The portions are generous, and we both left feeling full and satisfied. Kopitos is tucked away in downtown Newberg, making it a fun little hidden gem. I noticed they advertise live music, so it's probably a great spot to visit in the late afternoon or evening. They also have plenty of outdoor seating, which would be perfect on a warm, sunny day. There is limited parking in front of the restaurant, but street parking is available nearby. I highly recommend Kopitos if you're in or around the Newberg area. Fresh, flavorful food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere make it well worth a visit!

I've been wanting to go here for a while and got treated to this experience for my birthday. We did the $215 tasting menu and talked with the sommelier to find a Pinot noir within our bottle budget. They start you off with a nice warm hand towel so you can pick up your first bite that was a phyllo cone filled with a truffle cream and sturgeon caviar. Throughout the whole meal they had intentional notes of texture in their food. I got to try escargot for the first time which had a miso butter that paired nicely with their focaccia bread. (Although I recommend only enjoying one piece as you'll be plenty full even with abuse bouche bites). Their oysters had delicious pearl champagne in it which made it refreshing. The salad with bacon Lardon and the rogue creamery blue was delicious! We had a small mix up on our food and they even took off our cocktails from the bill because of the slight inconvenience totally unexpected but kind of them. They were very attentive to refill water and bring us plenty of silverware and replace napkins each time you left your seat. The stars of the show for us was the slippery jack porcini risotto and the elk tartare. Such immense umami and flavor bombs. Of course their dry age steak and perfectly cooked duck breast was high on our list of favorites too. We had to get an espresso to get to dessert as we were there for nearly 4 hours from start to finish. Everything was cozy and comforting the service from Kilo and Levi was great!
