Turkey Club with Potato Leek soup, and Turkey Pesto on sourdough with salt and pepper fries, aioli on the side.
Gwen Z.

Very cute and cozy restaurant in Dundee. Huge collection of really nice wines. Full bar available as well. I had the turkey and pesto sandwich on sourdough, which was delicious. My husband had the turkey club sandwich, equally as good. He also had the potato leek soup, which was very tasty. Plenty of staff available and were very friendly and pleasant. We had a really great lunch there.

The Summer Cake at Trellis

When you visit the Willamette Valley, do not miss an evening at Trellis. Not only is the food and drink excellent, but you'll get the best service around. Their management genuinely cares and makes sure you're enjoying your evening. We visited on Sunday, August 31st and shared the Ceasar salad and short rib stroganoff. As we had been tasting wine all day and nibbling on food most of the day we chose to just share these. My wife was "wine burned" so I had a glass of Purple Hands Pinot with it. The Ceasar was excellent as you could tell the dressing and croutons were all made in-house. Delicious. The short rib stroganoff was AMAZING. So delicious we at every bite and nearly licked the plate clean! Do try this entree as you won't regret it. It's a darker sauce but not thick and not too much sauce. We then saw on their dessert menu something called "Summer Cake". We had heard about their pastry chef, Caydee Porter, as being outstanding. So we tried it. OMG. This cake was truly unbelievable. It was a cross between cake, and cheese cake with berry compote. Drizzled with a lemon syrup, topped with blueberries and a flower. So light and delicious and beautiful, we're still talking about it a week later! If they're still offering this be sure to try it. We're not big cake people, but this is beyond cake! Do go visit Trellis (make a reservation) , you won't regret it!

Incredible dining experience! The food was delicious. I had the Albacore tuna melt with trellis fries. Our server, Gabriela was phenomenal! She took such good care of us - consistently checking in, refilling drinks, and making recommendations. She was an absolute delight and one of the best service experiences I've had. I would go so far as to request to be seated in her area next time. The indoor space had limited seating so we got to enjoy their new outdoor patio. Great AC indoors. The patio got quite hot. A few fans or misters would be a great addition!

Thank you, Trellis, for elevating our family's anniversary celebration with desserts that are almost too pretty to eat, hands down so delicious, I'm at a loss for words, which as a writer is a big deal. Appreciate your attention to detail and your role in making our celebration memorable. Make them your go-to for your next special occasion, or enjoy tasty seasonal desserts at their charming restaurant in Dundee.

We really enjoyed this spot in wine country for lunch. We shared a BLT and everything about it was fresh and delicious. The truffle fries were exceptional. The service was a bit slow. We waited a while for fritters that finally showed up well after we finished our sandwich. The explanation was a new cook. Hope they get that worked out because it's a lovely place with great food.

Wow! Visiting from LA and needed a spot to meet a friend for lunch, so glad we chose Trellis! Between three of us, we had the Albacore tuna melt with Trellis fries, a Caesar salad with chicken, and a pesto prawn salad...plus apricot cheesecake for dessert. One cocktail, the Lavender French 75, suggested by our wonderful server Gigi. She is the best! Fun and great with menu help. Really made our afternoon. We're bummed we didn't come here before our last day; we would have loved to try dinner or their happy hour that looks great $ wise. Def recommend Trellis!

Lavender French 75 was so good!

We always love coming here! Our service is always great here, but today it was exceptionally great! We sat outside in their cute, new expanded patio with our dogs. Food & cocktails delish! Make sure to pop by Trellis on your way through Dundee!

extremely high quality food, perfect for lunch between local wine tastings

Be sure to book ahead and get a reservation. There's not a ton of tables and it gets to be in high demand between wine tastings for lunch. Obviously the wine menu is quite impressive and loaded with local options. You'll definitely be able to find something you like. The food is incredible, upscale design to the menu with lots of elevated classics. I got a steak sandwich - basically a french dip - and swapped the fries for some tomato soup. The sandwich was delicious - the peppers were super fresh, the steak was well seasoned, the aioli was bright and rich with flavor. Really loved it. Would absolutely get it again. The tomato soup too was great too. My wife got a pesto sandwich and some sweet potato fries. These were both awesome too, really really good. Every time I'm in the area, I'm going to come here...if I can get in.

The French dip, huge portions

We came to trellis under a wonderful recommendation and it did not disappoint. They have a lovely indoor dining area, but also an outdoor area which is where we chose to sit. The portions are large. The wine list is wonderful. I had the brisket Pelli pasta. And one of their famous appetizers, which I cannot remember what it was, but it was delicious . The staff members are are wonderful . This is a wonderful spot for lunch .

Apricot cheesecake.

Trellis never disappoints. As always we had our favorite, short-rib stroganoff. A wedge Caesar salad, a short-rib sandwich withe their trellis garlic aioli fries and the apricot cheesecake. Exquisite dinner!! Their staff is super friendly and attentive.

Was taken out for my birthday here. Our food was delicious and the service was excellent. Super pleased. We sat outside and it was near our servers birthday as well, we bonded. The dessert was lovely.

My husband and I wanted a yummy lunch to celebrate our anniversary and it was a gorgeous sunny day so we headed for Trellis. We did not have a reservations but on a Monday at noon there were open tables. We chose to sit outside in the sun. We ordered seasonal lemonades - pineapple and prickly pear and they arrived quickly. Refreshing and tasty - I loved my pineapple, the prickly pear was good as well just not as sweet as the pineapple. Our lunch was the turkey pesto sandwich, short rib stroganoff, the special strawberry salad, rosemary focaccia and for dessert the cream brûlée with a lemon bar . The stroganoff, strawberry salad and crème brûlée get a solid 5 and out 5 on quality of ingredients and flavor and portion. The focaccia felt short as it didn't have a rosemary flavor and the sandwich and fries were average, something I could've made at home. The outside seating was perfect and service also top level.

This winery recently opened in the first floor of the Dundee hotel. It's closer to 99W so when you come in from the parking lot, you will pass a couple other wineries. This is one of five wineries and a restaurant that is in the first floor of the Dundee hotel. Our server was named Kalina, and she was so nice and personable. She had recently come back from working in a winery in Australia. I was impressed with her knowledge of wine, but she explained that she started working in wineries back when she was just 15 helping with events/weddings at a family friend's winery. She had worked at several wineries even though she was just in her twenties. The winery itself also had lots of charm and was very calming with the soft pink furnishings and relaxing sofa and chairs. The design was on point and chic. We enjoyed all the wines. Kalina even gave us a small bowl of gourmet popcorn to compliment some of the wines. I definitely will come back to this spot for another tasting or a glass of wine. Our server also said that on the third Thursday of every month they do complimentary pours and have either live music or artists at the various wineries in the building as part of a collaborative art walk within Dundee. Currently the wine tastings are $30 per person, but if you are a guest at the hotel they have a BOGO special. This winery is definitely a special spot to check out if you are planning a day trip to Oregon wine country. This wine tasting was definitely a highlight of my summer. We had a great time here, and while most the family does not drink a lot of wine, there was something for everyone here. The owner, David, greeted us as we walked in and sat us at the large table in this small tasting room. He sat with us for most of the tasting, describing the wines in detail, telling us the history, describing how the land around Oregon varies and how it impacts the wine. It was really interesting and he so helpful and open to answering all of our questions. You can tell how knowledgeable and passionate he is about his wines and he made our experience really unique. The wines themselves were great, and we left purchasing 2 bottles of the 5 wines we tried. While they have a variety of wines, their white wines, especially the Sauvignon Blanc and the Pinot Blanc, were phenomenal and I highly recommend. The tastings are really reasonably priced at $25 and their bottles were also well priced. The tasting room itself is very laid back and casual. It is decorated and feels as if you are just sitting in a relatives living room enjoying a glass of wine, so if you are looking for the instagram shot of a glass of wine over a vineyard during a sunset, this is not the place, but if you enjoy kicking back and enjoying solid wine in a more laid back setting with folks who care about their wines, then look no further!

We are glad it was the Newbergundian Bistro. We had to start with a Croissant. It was very flavorful, but it was bit soft, not the perfect crunch that we love. He had some cool music groovin', some old vinyls alongside the bar, and with my Pliny in hand, I wanted to spend the rest of the day here chatting up the locals. If I lived in town, you'd probably find me here more often than the Pelican. You can always find fresh Russian River beers on tap and for sale in bottles here. Ask me how I know? Why don't you ask them? :) The wine is really well priced, lots of Cabs and Syrahs, (try the Reversal Syrah!) and as they said on their menu, good for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday night drinking.... We noticed Chenin, Shawn's wife wasn't around that day and found she was at the PSU Farmer's market where they attend all summer. Shawn also told me you can find them Thursday evenings at another Farmer's market in the Pearl in Portland. Sweet. As much as I love coming to Pacific City, it's also nice to know we can find their wine in Portland in the summertime since they don't sell it retail in stores. An hour later, (maybe two?) we left smiling with two bottles of wine, the Basket Case Syrah and a red table wine in hand, and two empty pint glasses of Pliny on the bar.
