Excellent place. A favorite of my family after visiting local vineyards. Service: fantastic, I believe their name is Hanna or Anna (sorry if I'm just making that up), such a great person and has wonderful timing and we didn't feel rushed at all, as we didn't have a reservation as it started filling up for the night. Food: amazing. We got a few sandwiches (Ruben is great, nice bread, sauce is thick and tastes homemade). Not sure and I doubt they are making pastrami back there, but if they are--juicy and tender, or love whomever you're sourcing from. Burger was good as well and they were happy to sub the American for the white cheddar at mom's request. Fries, always go with their special with feathery Parmesan (or Romano, can't recall), why do the salt and pepper when there's seasoned with cheese on the table. Only way to go! We also got the oysters, that's where I ran into a little bit of an issue, not bad, but, I probably wouldn't go for these again, very good, and I'll always get an oyster if on menu to try, but for the price (I think 28$) for 6, felt a bit high. I do understand that it's a big cost to bring in live shellfish to a place with not a coast in sight, but without knowing the origin or size, again, I'd skip. The liquid which I love competed too much with the delicious, I think cilantro, apple mignonette. Maybe consider a different variety, if y'all can get it. Crème brûlée, sell me a thousand. Location/scene: couldn't be better, so beautiful. A little oasis for causal, but everything has an upscale touch. Great parking, everything is intentional and perfect. Price: you get what you pay for, and you'll pay, and not bat an eye at it, because again, just so wonderful. What I'm trying to say is this is not a budget place, but everyplace doesn't need to be a screaming deal. You will love this place. read more

Care here for lunch after some wine tastings nearby on a random weekday. The inside was completely empty and it took us a few minutes before we realized that there is outdoor seating! We ended up moving to a nice table in their patio area. Highly recommend dining outside if the weather allows! Service was prompt and kind. They have a large menu and also a large drink menu with lots of local wines which is great! We got the carbonara and the short rib sandwich, both of which were rich and delicious! The short rib on the sandwich was tender and super flavorful and not dried out at all. The serving sizes were excellent as well, we both left quite full! The menu is large and we will definitely be back to try more! Worth checking this place out for a meal in wine-country! read more

Highly recommended! Trellis did an amazing job catering our wedding at the Can Can's Paris Theater in downtown Portland. This was the venues first wedding, so there were a lot of tough logistics to sort through and the team navigated them with total professionalism. Throughout the planning process, they were prompt, helpful, and incredibly nice to work with. The food presentation was beautiful, highlighting fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Everything tasted amazing--especially the sliders, shrimp skewers, tiramisu, and cheesecake. Thank you for making our night so seamless and delicious! read more

Fantastic food and even better cocktails. Very surprising for what an extensive wine menu they had. I ordered the carbonara which was crazy salty but really good. Halfway through I traded with my husband for his clam linguini which was delicious. read more

We actually enjoyed some snacks from their cart at Argyle. It was easy to order from your table with your phone and they brought it out to you. The prices were low so I knew these were app portions, which was perfectly fine. We opted for a few different items. The skewers are really tasty. It was a good amount of food and I appreciate keeping things to a lower price point. If I need more than one order I can always get that so I was happy for that. I'd definitely enjoy their food again. read more

Really great experience and I recommend you dine here. This food is so rich that a millionair will feel poor. It is fabulous, but I really highly recommend you SHARE! S H A R E with PEOPLE at your table. I fell into a food coma and still could not stop eating. I could barely talk -- I was stuffed for 16 hours. I could barely make it home -- not from the wine-- but from the pasta cream sauce. OMG! 1 MILLION CALORIES -- I am still trying to burn off! Yes, it's to die for -- and you just might. My braised beef tagleatelli was WAY too rich for me. Next time I am going with the lighter marinar and prawn dish that my hubby had. It was great -- as I stole a bite. The wine selection is out of this world. The wait staff was awesome. They were so helpful and kind, easy to please and wanted us to be happy! We loved it and will go back -- after we fast for a bit. Fantastic! Crowded with good vibrations! read more

Cute restaurant right off the main road with private parking and a limited number of tables, so reservation recommended (or call ahead). Great spot for a date night, special family celebration dinner, or catch-up with good friends. Loved the elderly couple who came for drinks and dessert only! First starter was the clam special in white, smooth broth with leeks, served with two big slices of crispy focaccia. YUM. I didn't think 25 clams would be enough to fill me up, but I was wrong, and this special was great. Second starter was the duck confit salad, and the duck leg was cooked perfectly, skin on. Husband liked the matchstick apples and cherry vinaigrette but thought the blue cheese was overpowering. First entree was the king prawn pasta alla vodka, and the noodles were overcooked - fastest way to kill a meal. Prawns cooked perfectly, but the noodles were mush in an otherwise nice sauce. Husband and I both loved his butternut soup, drizzled with good quality EVOO and rich texture. Curious what other ingredients they use (or where they get their butternuts) because their soup was WAY better than anything I've made at home. Dessert was fab: lemon mousse topped with vanilla pavlova. We saw another table order one of each dessert, but their lemon mousse went first, which sealed our decision! Would recommend for anyone passing through Dundee - just skip the pasta. read more

Great Turkey Pesto Sandwich! PJ the bartender/waiter was great! Excellent knowledge of the menu and beers on tap! The happy hour is the best from McMinnville to Newberg! When you visit the Willamette Valley, do not miss an evening at Trellis. Not only is the food and drink excellent, but you'll get the best service around. Their management genuinely cares and makes sure you're enjoying your evening. We visited on Sunday, August 31st and shared the Ceasar salad and short rib stroganoff. As we had been tasting wine all day and nibbling on food most of the day we chose to just share these. My wife was "wine burned" so I had a glass of Purple Hands Pinot with it. The Ceasar was excellent as you could tell the dressing and croutons were all made in-house. Delicious. The short rib stroganoff was AMAZING. So delicious we at every bite and nearly licked the plate clean! Do try this entree as you won't regret it. It's a darker sauce but not thick and not too much sauce. We then saw on their dessert menu something called "Summer Cake". We had heard about their pastry chef, Caydee Porter, as being outstanding. So we tried it. OMG. This cake was truly unbelievable. It was a cross between cake, and cheese cake with berry compote. Drizzled with a lemon syrup, topped with blueberries and a flower. So light and delicious and beautiful, we're still talking about it a week later! If they're still offering this be sure to try it. We're not big cake people, but this is beyond cake! Do go visit Trellis (make a reservation) , you won't regret it! read more

Very cute and cozy restaurant in Dundee. Huge collection of really nice wines. Full bar available as well. I had the turkey and pesto sandwich on sourdough, which was delicious. My husband had the turkey club sandwich, equally as good. He also had the potato leek soup, which was very tasty. Plenty of staff available and were very friendly and pleasant. Incredible dining experience! The food was delicious. I had the Albacore tuna melt with trellis fries. Our server, Gabriela was phenomenal! She took such good care of us - consistently checking in, refilling drinks, and making recommendations. She was an absolute delight and one of the best service experiences I've had. I would go so far as to request to be seated in her area next time. The indoor space had limited seating so we got to enjoy their new outdoor patio. Great AC indoors. The patio got quite hot. Excellent food and service! The pasta was simply amazing. No notes! They were also very accommodating to our group as we had an elderly person in our group that needed accessibility and their upper outdoor seating is directly accessible from the parking lot! The only reason a star was deducted was the gnats we sat outside and they ate us alive. So maybe choose an inside seat during the summer heat, but otherwise nothing but good vibes! read more

Inside is like a bar rather than a restaurant, but the outdoor seating is very nice and ample. (I would feel uncomfortable celebrating my anniversary or birthday indoors.). We tried the short rib pasta and the vegetable pasta which consisted of small piece of chanterelles, shishito peppers, corn over linguine with some kind of creamy sauce. Both pastas were good, but the short rib seemed too much like pulled pork. Desserts were very good--crème brûlée with shortbread cookie and carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and a toasted marshmallow on top. Definitely a good place to dine at after a wine tasting or with a group (many long tables), read more

They serve great food and their drinks are also good, but what we routinely go for is because of the fantastic staff. They are a pleasure to chat with as you have a drink at the bar, happy hour or not. Except yesterday they were admonished not to talk with us so much although it wasn't busy, so I guess we will not be going as much anymore. That really saddens me, but they hired someone new I think that's more about efficiency than begin as attentive to customers, especially us older ones with stories. Oh well...things change. read more

We really enjoyed this spot in wine country for lunch. We shared a BLT and everything about it was fresh and delicious. The truffle fries were exceptional. The service was a bit slow. We waited a while for fritters that finally showed up well after we finished our sandwich. The explanation was a new cook. Hope they get that worked out because it's a lovely place with great food. read more

It was recommended that we visit this for place for dinner after we went wine tasting at a nearby vineyard. We started off by ordering couple flights of wine. For appetizers we had the trellis fries and oysters The fries were well seasoned, light, and fluffy; it was paired with a yummy dipping sauce. The oysters tasted fresh too! We shared the Dundeee wedge salad and short rib stroganoff!! Both were flavorful and delicious! The servings were generous enough to feel content and not overwhelmingly full. We also ordered the seasonal cake, it was good, but too sweet for my liking. We also thought the service was great, thanks Julie! read more

Wow! Visiting from LA and needed a spot to meet a friend for lunch, so glad we chose Trellis! Between three of us, we had the Albacore tuna melt with Trellis fries, a Caesar salad with chicken, and a pesto prawn salad...plus apricot cheesecake for dessert. One cocktail, the Lavender French 75, suggested by our wonderful server Gigi. She is the best! Fun and great with menu help. Really made our afternoon. We're bummed we didn't come here before our last day; we would have loved to try dinner or their happy hour that looks great $ wise. Def recommend Trellis! read more

Have always had very good meals at Trellis in Dundee. Good service, friendly people and a very nice ambience.

Be sure to book ahead and get a reservation. There's not a ton of tables and it gets to be in high demand between wine tastings for lunch. Obviously the wine menu is quite impressive and loaded with local options. You'll definitely be able to find something you like. The food is incredible, upscale design to the menu with lots of elevated classics. I got a steak sandwich - basically a french dip - and swapped the fries for some tomato soup. The sandwich was delicious - the peppers were super fresh, the steak was well seasoned, the aioli was bright and rich with flavor. Really loved it. Would absolutely get it again. The tomato soup too was great too. My wife got a pesto sandwich and some sweet potato fries. These were both awesome too, really really good. Every time I'm in the area, I'm going to come here...if I can get in. read more

Doing a little road trip in the area and decided to have lunch at Trellis in Dundee. I had heard it was good. They weren't lying! It was a bit on the expensive side, but all restaurants are these days, but more than worth it! We both had sandwiches- I had the turkey pesto with rosemary fries and shredded cheese. 2X the amount of food I can eat for $23 - so, $11.50 per meal is another way of thinking about it. Travels well so I will have some for tomorrow - or my son with a hollow leg will! My friend had the chicken with bacon sandwich on focaccia with the same fries. She can be hard to please, but could not stop talking about how good it was! Especially the focaccia. So much chicken! Really good. We ate outside in the back. Perfectly charming setting. A little breeze, umbrellas - very nice. We passed through the dining room on our way out to the patio and it was lovely. Service was good too. There when you need them but not hovering. Get in there the next time you are in wine country!! read more

Came in tonight on a Tuesday, no full bar top had 6 open seats. Several tables inside and outside were open. We chose to sit at the bar top. We sit down waiting to get served. get ignored by the bar tender then the busser/bar back whispers to the server then suddenly we can't get served and they are so busy that they can't serve us. Incredibly dissapointed by the lack of communication surrounding reservation and seat timing. Also who reserves bar top seating? What happens on a full night with every table taken? Do you sit the customers down and tell them they won't get served for 15-20 mins? read more

We found this gem by happenstance and what a delight! Our anniversary dinner could not have been better. I have dietary restrictions, so the bartender went out of his way to help me find things on the menu that could be made to work. We do not remember his name, but he is a keeper. The food was fab, the wine was even better, and the chocolate mousse melted in our mouths. But best of all was the service. Try them out, you will be delighted. read more

Excellent sandwiches and fries. The staff is friendly and outside seating is pleasant.

The Reuben was killer. Not a big yelper but I'm a huge sandwich guy. And the world needs to know. The Reuben blew my socks off. I did order it on the house made focaccia instead of the classic rye but mercy this sando paired with the fries and a Dijon"esq" aioli. Portion size+service at that price point is craftsmanship meets value. Tip of the cap to Joe and the team at Trellis. Service was great, we were able to sit inside immediately during a dinner rush which was also a major plus. Thanks guys! 100% coming back for seconds. read more
