Wow, what an incredible experience! We had an anniversary celebration dinner and it was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed their four course tasting menu and there wasn't a single dish that wasn't incredible. There were so many thoughtful details and all of the service was top notch.

The food tastes delicious and presentation is on point. Service is superb- friendly and very efficient. Would definitely come back next time I come to Oregon!

Service excellent as it should be for $$$. Menu ~ common dishes that no matter how the description is written just ordinary. The ambience is a bit solemn even with full seating. Everyone seemed to think low voice whispering was proper. The wine selection is great but again $$$. If weather is permitting, sit outside and enjoy the patio & outside grounds. Inside is much a standard steakhouse setting. A beautiful resort and nice restaurant for a Willamette getaway.

From the moment you enter the Allison hotel and spa. You are greeted with a wonderful smile from the staff.. We came for dinner and so much more . They gave us a gorgeous booth overlooking the property . You have to have their homemade brioche bread with butter . It will change your life ... This was one of the very best dinners that we decided collectively we have had in a long time . Very extensive wines to choose from cocktails. I had one of their vineyards, Pinot noir. Amazing ! The service is impeccable We decided for dessert to have their homemade French vanilla ice cream and hazelnut ice cream with Ghirardelli chocolate sauce . Omg!!! That was a perfect ending to the evening. We highly recommend you make a reservation and go and enjoy yourself completely

How was Jory? It saddens me to say not great. Pricewise ridiculously expensive. Ambiance is definitely a bit snobby, but goodness for good reason. If you stay at the resort it's about $550 a night. Dinner will run you about that for two people as well Reservations were at 6pm, waited at the bar for about 30 mins. Service was great The menu wasn't really exciting to me. Steak $80 Steelhead Rabbit Veggie dish 3 different salads Rack of lamb Didn't really feel like meat so I literally just ordered the Cesar. It was def blah for $17 The steak was really tender, perfectly cooked, I think the best thing on the plate was the rosemary potatoes. I would expect salads to be a lot better. Overall experience was pleasant but not amazing.

Stopped by for dessert at the bar. But decided to have the wagyu tartare first. It was full of flavor and very tender, as it should. Next we had dessert so we ordered the crème brûlée and the apples pie. I was NOT disappointed. Everything was soooo good! I'm looking forward to my next visit cause man, the staff were great, service was great, and food was delicious.

Heritage Pork Loin - A plated dish includes a portion of heritage pork loin, grilled peaches, and leafy greens, garnished with mustard seeds and sauce. The presentation is on a white, slightly textured plate, with a restaurant interior visible in the background, including tables with white tablecloths and dim lighting.

I made a dinner reservation on OpenTable a few weeks ago because I had also booked a room at the hotel to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. I love when a restaurant is available to book on OpenTable because it's convenient and easy to modify if needed. We arrived shortly after 7pm on a Thursday evening and were seated right away. The restaurant was lively and it was neat view all the action in the open kitchen. I immediately knew it would be a good meal. Service was 5 star. Several staff members greeted us and each was super warm, attentive and helpful. We ordered the brioche bread to start which was a nice treat. I especially loved the butter topped with sea salt. The Jory garden salad was another favorite with fresh greens, red onions, fresh Parmesan and hazelnuts and cherries. For our entrees we had the chinook and the pork loin with potatoes - every single thing looked and tasted great, was perfectly cooked and beautifully plated. I would consider this restaurant a special occasion place and it didn't disappoint. I'd love to return to enjoy the lounge during happy hour while sitting by the fire and listening to live music.

Wagyu was really good.

We are glad it was the Newbergundian Bistro. We had to start with a Croissant. It was very flavorful, but it was bit soft, not the perfect crunch that we love. The fresh squeezed grapefruit juice made an excellent greyhound. The Bistro had my favorite...Escargot as a special. WOW. So good. We then shared the Potato Croquettes. The accompanying fondue was so good to dip the Croquettes into. We finished with a Ham and Brie Sandwich that was excellent, accompanied by crisp and hot french fries. My wife had the Grilled Five Cheese Sandwich with Mixed Greens. She loved it. Traci was terrific and helped us throughout the meal.

My wife had the halibut special. Served on a potato croquette with beets. The combination was delectable. I had the cioppino - tons of halibut, shrimp, mussels and shrimp is a rich tomato wine broth. Truly outstanding. Our waitress was very nice and made some great suggestions including the persimmon sorbet dessert. It was served with ginger beer and an apple turnover. Original and very refreshing after a nice meal. The decor has a French leitmotif and the kitchen is open so you can see the cooks at work. Nice atmosphere. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this nice French bistro.

They are a pleasure to chat with as you have a drink at the bar, happy hour or not. Except yesterday they were admonished not to talk with us so much although it wasn't busy, so I guess we will not be going as much anymore. That really saddens me, but they hired someone new I think that's more about efficiency than begin as attentive to customers, especially us older ones with stories. Oh well...things change.

Great spot for a date night, special family celebration dinner, or catch-up with good friends. Loved the elderly couple who came for drinks and dessert only! First starter was the clam special in white, smooth broth with leeks, served with two big slices of crispy focaccia. YUM. I didn't think 25 clams would be enough to fill me up, but I was wrong, and this special was great. Second starter was the duck confit salad, and the duck leg was cooked perfectly, skin on. Husband liked the matchstick apples and cherry vinaigrette but thought the blue cheese was overpowering. First entree was the king prawn pasta alla vodka, and the noodles were overcooked - fastest way to kill a meal. Prawns cooked perfectly, but the noodles were mush in an otherwise nice sauce. Husband and I both loved his butternut soup, drizzled with good quality EVOO and rich texture. Curious what other ingredients they use (or where they get their butternuts) because their soup was WAY better than anything I've made at home. Dessert was fab: lemon mousse topped with vanilla pavlova. We saw another table order one of each dessert, but their lemon mousse went first, which sealed our decision! Would recommend for anyone passing through Dundee - just skip the pasta.

This winery recently opened in the first floor of the Dundee hotel. It's closer to 99W so when you come in from the parking lot, you will pass a couple other wineries. This is one of five wineries and a restaurant that is in the first floor of the Dundee hotel. Our server was named Kalina, and she was so nice and personable. She had recently come back from working in a winery in Australia. I was impressed with her knowledge of wine, but she explained that she started working in wineries back when she was just 15 helping with events/weddings at a family friend's winery. She had worked at several wineries even though she was just in her twenties. The winery itself also had lots of charm and was very calming with the soft pink furnishings and relaxing sofa and chairs. The design was on point and chic. We enjoyed all the wines. Kalina even gave us a small bowl of gourmet popcorn to compliment some of the wines. I definitely will come back to this spot for another tasting or a glass of wine. Our server also said that on the third Thursday of every month they do complimentary pours and have either live music or artists at the various wineries in the building as part of a collaborative art walk within Dundee. Currently the wine tastings are $30 per person, but if you are a guest at the hotel they have a BOGO special. This winery is definitely a special spot to check out if you are planning a day trip to Oregon wine country. This wine tasting was definitely a highlight of my summer. Reservations and recommended, but definitely not required - and the experience was truly lovely.

We had a great time here, and while most the family does not drink a lot of wine, there was something for everyone here. The owner, David, greeted us as we walked in and sat us at the large table in this small tasting room. He sat with us for most of the tasting, describing the wines in detail, telling us the history, describing how the land around Oregon varies and how it impacts the wine. It was really interesting and he so helpful and open to answering all of our questions. You can tell how knowledgeable and passionate he is about his wines and he made our experience really unique. The wines themselves were great, and we left purchasing 2 bottles of the 5 wines we tried. While they have a variety of wines, their white wines, especially the Sauvignon Blanc and the Pinot Blanc, were phenomenal and I highly recommend. The tastings are really reasonably priced at $25 and their bottles were also well priced. The tasting room itself is very laid back and casual. It is decorated and feels as if you are just sitting in a relatives living room enjoying a glass of wine, so if you are looking for the instagram shot of a glass of wine over a vineyard during a sunset, this is not the place, but if you enjoy kicking back and enjoying solid wine in a more laid back setting with folks who care about their wines, then look no further!
