Strange vibes from this place, which is more like a brewery than a place to try wines

This is my second time here, but I really enjoy their Friday nights. Between 5 and 9 PM the live music and the rotating food truck is a perfect way to end a week. Staff was courteous and the sunset could not have been better. read more

Great hill top tasting room, amazing view point to the valley below, whites, 3 Pinots, 2 stronger reds and a rose! Owner was wearing a Tool T-Shirt (is he friends with Caduceus cellars?) and the music line up was on point too. They have lots of room to spread out. Get your sun on! Picnics welcome. I almost went for the GSM but the Pinot 32 was balanced and light on the palate. Look at those clouds in my 2 photos! I'll definitely recommend and come back here for the good vibes. tl;dr - amazing view, relaxed atmosphere, good white wines I came here for a friend's birthday and it was pretty awesome! The views were absolutely amazing because you get a view of the valley. It wasn't really busy so the atmosphere was really relaxed. Everyone there was super friendly and made us feel really welcome. We went to Avidity on a recent Friday night for wine and music. We loved the experience and atmosphere. Lots of open space and wine tasting room is new with great views. Very family oriented and friendly. If it is warm bring an umbrella as there is not much shade. We will definitely be back. read more

1 star for views, 1 star for the wine, 0 for customer service. Nice views, solid wines, but the customer service is terrible. The owners are the most unfriendly people we've ever encountered at a winery. We were there with friends who live in the area and they were embarrassed they took us there. As we stood in line chatting, the couple in front of us were obvious club members tasting through wines and picking up a case of wine they bought. The owners didn't even know who they were, couldn't find them in their system and they treated them rudely, coldly and as if the club members were a hassle. In talking with the friendly couple (in their 30s), they had been club members for over 2 years and said that happens most of the time they come in (the owners don't recognize them, nor do they treat them with kindness). They did state the other staff are usually very friendly and know they are club members the moment they walk in. Baffled why they stay in the wine club, we asked, but they said they like the wines, the views and have concerts at the winery on Fridays, apparently. No special club dinners or events except a discount on wine. They need to hire staff that go above and beyond for customers, especially club members. We weren't treated any differently, but after witnessing how club members who buy cases of wine a year are treated, I would never join their club. We belong to several wine clubs in Napa/Sonoma and are treated with respect and invited to special dinners and events for club members only. This place has the personality of a cold insurance office out to take your money. We won't be returning, nor will our friends who live locally. read more

Tried this place out this weekend and loved it. As a white wine drinker, I thoroughly enjoyed their Pinot Blanc!

The drive up the driveway revealed a spectacular view of rolling hills, mountains, and vineyards. The service was excellent and the tasting room was beautiful featuring a chandelier, fireplace and as well as outdoor and indoor seating with views accessible from every angle. Fun, great casual atmosphere for a friendly wine tasting at one of the closer locations to metro Portland. Terrific view of more than 180 degrees at top of the hill. We will be back in the summer to sit outside and enjoy the the view in the sunshine! read more
