Brussel sprouts

As soon as we walked in we felt so cozy and comfortable! The moody lighting is so nice, and the wait staff were so friendly. You can immediately smell the smokiness from the meat for the nachos. And then the food! They managed to get all of our food out at the same time and it was all hot! Here's what we had: Margarita flatbread (I added arugula) the dough was a bit floppy but very well seasoned. You can tell they make their own sauce because it was DELICIOUS. Perfectly tomatoey and just a bit spicy! Fish & chips 8/10 Fish was perfectly breaded, fish was tender, and very well seasoned. Fries were nice and hot. But coleslaw and sauce needed more zing, definitely not traditional. Needed more lemon or capers or something Clementine Burger 9/10 tasted like a gourmet in & out burger. Bun was perfectly toasted and had the perfect amount of everything on it Braised short ribs 9/10 meat was cooked perfectly and didn't even need salt or pepper for the mash!! Cajun wings 8/10 perfectly fried, but needs more Cajun seasoning. Their homemade ranch really made it! Ranch 1000/10 they're got their recipe down!! Brussels sprouts 9/10 perfectly crispy and zingy from the balsamic and parm Drinks! Brisuex fizz 7/10 Oh my darlin 9/10 FIL is not a bourbon drinker but loved this and had two Coconut no rum punch 9/10 super sweet but good The smartie mocktail 9/10 perfectly sweet and acidic Desserts: Crème brûlée 9/10 to die for!! Draft Root beer float 10/10 perfect amount of root beer to ice cream! Our servers were so kind and friendly. Made great conversation with us while we waited for food and paid for the bill. Everyone who works there has such a great attitude! Will definitely be coming back.

Looks like they nailed it. Great use of the space. Open seating with intimate tables and booths. Many size booths for many size groups. Great level of music . It was kind of quiet when I was there but service is on point and attentive yet not bothersome like Goldilocks just right. The star of the show tonight was the Blood Orange creme brulee. It did not disappoint. The cooked the topping on right there so it was not your typical out of the fridge cold. It was a hard topping with a slightly warm pudding emancipating the taste buds from normal and taking them to foodgasm Bravo. If they pay this much attention to dessert I'll be back for an entree. Well done Clementines well done

Finally got downtown to try Clementine. It's been on my list so I was stoked to get over here!! Walking in it feels like like kind of a hipster spot with couches and coffee tables to get comfy and have a drink at and really cool round booths to sit at. The decor is pretty cool, they have some old school signs and old mountain bikes lining the walls. The couches and tables are also all retro from like the 70s and 80s. One thing to note about this joint is they have an afternoon menu and a dinner menu that starts at 5, so plan accordingly they are online so you can look before you come. I had to try the clementine pub fries and fish and chips which I subbed the chips for salad since I already had fries. The pub fries are an upscale version of animal style fries from in and out, except I prefer in and out. The fries definitely could have been cooked longer, they weren't really crispy and then you add the caramelized onions and sauce on top and they were a bit of a soggy mess. The onions were delicious though and the sauce was what you'd expect from a fry sauce. The fries were also seasoned with a Cajun spice that was actually pretty spicy which I enjoyed. Their homemade ranch is pretty delicious as well. The garden salad is pretty good, it's got apple, ghost cheese and pickled onion with poppyseed dressing. If I had one thing bad to say about it, I would have preferred less dressing, but I'm not going to complain. The fish was light and crispy and cooked perfect, Andy you get three huge pieces! The tartar sauce was amazing! One thing I did note is three servers were talking a bit away from my table and were using some pretty colorful language and I could hear it all, so I didn't like that. The playlist is pretty epic though, so if you like music it's worth coming for a drink and staying for the music. They do have live music as well so check their website for that! I would and will 100% be back to try other things!

We stopped in to Clementine for a late dinner - We've now been back twice in the last two weeks. The atmosphere is great, I love the open seating and the option for booths or tables. The server remembered us the second visit and brought ice for the waters without being asked. He was efficient and timely in refills and dropping of the check. My husband had the Fish & Chips the first visit - They were big pieces of fish served with a shoestring style fry, seasoning was a little spicy, but he liked it. I tried the Mole Nachos - Flavor was great, I think I would like them with a drizzle of sour cream and a bit larger plate (portion was great but hard to eat on such a tiny plate). My second visit I tried the brussels sprouts - Loved them, but did ask for a bit more balsamic. Save room for dessert too - The donuts with lemon curd are amazing! This place has become a family favorite for us.

The seafood etouffee was about the best I've ever had and I have been all over the South. Spicy and great flavors. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Good addition to Newberg.

Downtown Newberg is a great place to visit and shop. Clementine's decor is warm and inviting. From the wine bottle chandeliers to the vintage bike collection handing on the walls, this place is full of charm. The food was good but the service was horrible! Kayla was our server. I ordered the chicken sandwich with a salad in place of fries. This is an option for 3 additional dollars. They brought the sandwich with fries and an entire salad. I explained I wanted the salad in place of not in addition to fries. Kayla came back and I repeated my request. She proceeded to take all the food away and came back with the salad and the chicken sandwich torn apart with chicken meat on top of the salad. This was not right either so once she understood, I had to wait for a brand new meal to come out. There was no apologies. No, I'm sorry. No can I buy you a drink? No my glass sat there empty I had to wave people down to ask for a drink while I waited for my meal this was the worst service I've had in years!

Really don't know what their value out is there? And one final comment for our waitress, I don't want to know you have Calvin Klein underwear on, please wear a shirt that covers up your stomach or some pants that aren't low hip hugging. Dropping $100 at a place to stare at someone's underwear band while you're ordering isn't very appetizing.

Me and the wife wanted pizza tonight so we thought we would take the short drive to Abby's. Well…read morethe experience was horrible to say the least. It was loud and very busy. My wife ordered a large pepperoni pizza and two salads. I was waiting at the table and heard her name called I observed two salads just as she ordered and three pizzas. One was a large pepperoni. A man and a women approached the counter as I did. The young lady behind the counter got me forks for the salads. At the same time I observed the female waiting at the counter grab the pepperroni pizza and stick her hands on the corner of the pizza. I expressed that was my pizza and I did not want it since she stuck her fingers in it. She immediately got defensive and the argument started. The young lady that brought me the salads did not confirm at first who's pizza it was. I assumed since we ordered a large pepperoni pizza and there were three the pepperoni was mine. I think that's a reasonable assumption. The lady that touched the pizza became very aggressive with me declaring it was theres, because the young lady behind the counter had not said anything. So I got an ear full from the lady and the husband saying they ordered all three. This could have been avoided had the young employee told me sir your pizza is coming up next. But that was not the case she said " I called them first and they ordered all three pizzas."She stated she called there name. All I heard was my wife's name. This could have all been averted had the young lady working say immediately those pizzas belong to such and such. Instead she observed the argument and did not correct it.The lady at the counter grabbed the pepperoni pizza and continued to say rude things to me. I responded she did not have to engage with me in the manner she did. The lady replied don't talk to me I'm done talking to you. I have lived with my family in the community for over 7 years and have never experienced this kind of rudeness from a stranger and poor communication from an Abby's worker at the same time. I spoke to the manager and told him what happened and the young employee that was helping me said in my defense I announced the name and salads only. I could barely hear anything. The young employee could have assisted with the misunderstanding by clarifying who the pizza belonged to immediately to clear up the confusion. I spoke to the manager and he tried to make it right and make another pizza and salads to go. My wife and I were so upset we just wanted to leave and I asked for a full refund. I received the full refund. I sat down with my wife to try and decompress. As we were waiting the couple I had the interaction with at the counter walked by and gave me a dirty look. As I said I have never encountered this behavior in Newberg. I am very disappointed in the service and the lack for reason with this issue. I will not recommend this establishment nor will I eat there again. I feel things could have been taken care of better. Best regards food reviewer.

I stumbled upon this place while waiting for a 5pm massage appointment at a place on the 2nd floor. I was immediately welcomed with a smile by the guy working behind the counter. As soon as I told him it was my first time here we struck up a great conversation. He showed me what types of foods they had and after I settled on a lunch box that included a panini, salad and other goodies, he mentioned that they switch out their salads every Wednesday to mix up the variety. I settled on a Lasagne slice, a Prosciutto Panini and an additional one to go with my lunch box. Their side wall was adorned with pickled and jarred items as well as pastas the like. On the far wall had their beverages and my lunch box came with my choice of drink. I settled on some Italian orange soda. Not sure what it tastes like but I will tomorrow for my lunch. They also have panini press machines. The nice guy offered to toast my panini. I only have a microwave at work so using that will just turn my panini into a solid rock. Microwaves and bread don't do well with each other. Overall a neat experience indeed. I think on my next visit I'll bring my wife with me so that she can try other things. All three tables we looked at needed to be wiped down. We settled on the least dirty. Food was just ok. Thin crust. Sparse everything. They were so worried about measuring and weighing the toppings. It made for a pizza light. I saw some other reviews about ligh toppings. These were so small it made for like two per slice but they covered less area than say a big pepperoni. So the pizza lacked flavor. The sauce was barely noticeable taking away even more flavor. Clearly cutting cost has lowered quality. I don't know if this is the same at other locations as it has not been my experience previously. This location just barely achieves a 3 star level
