Really great laid-back vibe. A great spot to go with friends and catch up on life. No tours or stories, I actually really enjoy knowing the history, but a really nice restful vibe and I would go back again. For being an overcast day late spring I was very happy with our decision to come here.

Only reason why I am not giving this 5 stars is because of the taste of whiskeys. Easy to make reservations and amazing staff/service. The water glasses were a little small and felt like they were "rationing" water to us. As avid whiskey drinkers, felt like the whiskey could have been aged longer. However, they mixed well for the cocktails they offered. Great little gem!

So delicious and staff was really friendly. I love Dundee but it's changed in the last few years and it's not as laid back and casual. This place is! Go. Buy. And enjoy.

In town for a girls weekend and when I saw signs for this distillery it was a must stop. They were about to close and still entertained our group so I'm very appreciative of that! Bourbons were great, they have a few different flights to choose from and even a cocktail flight which is such a great idea for those that aren't fans of bourbon neat. Again, service was great for taking us in 15 minutes before close. If I were a local this would be a regular stop for me! read more

On Sept 12 we came from Texas walked in ready to take the tour when we saw cigars in a case. When I enquired the person's very condescending response was "you can't smoke cigars here, not every wants to be exposed to that". The person giving the tour seemed to rush us through the tasting telling us if we didn't like it just dump it. We're going to the next one now. Three small tastings for $50 and when I asked can we keep the whiskey glass he said "No we'll keep that, they're available for sale if you want". for a maybe 15 minute tour to pay $100 for me and my wife and be treated this badly was terrible. If you want to impress potential customers these two individuals should not be the face of your company, very poor choice. read more

As I went to post this I see I started a review in 2023 and never posted it. Stop at this place. Whether you are a local or a tourist. Such incredible spirits, tastings and cocktails. And make sure you note the perfectly aligned tee shirts on the back wall. They do remarkable collaborations with their barrels that promote other local business efforts. How can you not love that?! Whiskey 3 doors down from me! This could be dangerous! My hubs and I live right down from Branchpoint. We have been anxiously awaiting their opening for sometime now. We met Steve and Deborah last year and toured their facility. Soooo when they opened to the public, we brought our friends in and tasted the flight. It's a fun way to taste whiskey. You can choose up to 5 ways, neat or mini cocktails. Steve is very helpful if you can't decide which way to go! I liked them both ways. Steve's whiskey is a higher end whiskey made right here in the valley. It's a nice addition to all the wineries out here too. read more

Never expected to find this gem in the middle of Oregon wine country while on vacation! Experienced great tasting craft whiskeys in a flight that allows you to 'choose your own adventure', offering the taster to try them neat or highlighted in cocktails. Tasting room staff were super knowledgeable and provided individual insight on what the taster might like. Even the distiller was on hand to answer any questions I had about his whiskey! I had such an amazing experience and truly cannot wait to come back again! Thank you Branch Point for being the highlight of my visit to Oregon! read more

Great distillery convenient to the Dundee wineries. It is usually our last stop because they are open later than most of the wineries. The owners are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. They recently started a whiskey club that we just had to join! Whiskeys are hand crafted and very tasty. Go here!!! read more

We lived in the heart of wine country and this was BY far our favorite spot. We have since moved away and still make a point to get down to Branch Point at least once every couple months. The owners are fantastic and the whiskey is the best I've ever had. I used to hate whiskey before I started coming here and now it's my go to drink! I highly recommend adding Branch Point to your wine tasting day! read more

My friend and I received a recommendation from a winery to go to Branch Point after asking about local places to purchase whiskeys for our partners. We are not huge whiskey drinkers, and told the person working that. We were a bit embarrassed to say it, but the associate was so kind and open! She helped us choose bottles for our husbands based on what we knew about their tastes, and even encouraged us to do a cocktail flight. She helped us choose things we would enjoy and it was an over all wonderful experience. I can't wait to take my partner back! read more

Great concept! Great whiskey! You have to add Branch Point Distillery to your wine-tasting itinerary. Knowledgeable staff guide you through a curated palette of small-batch, hyper-local spirits. We stopped by Branch Point Distillery as a final hoorah while on a recent wine tasting tour, and this was definitely the cherry on the cake! The tasting room has a boutique-like, artisanal vibe and we were lucky enough to meet the distiller, whose passion for whiskey was infectious! We were so inspired, we bought a few of the bottles presented in the tasting flight and we have since expanded our whiskey collection at home. Who knew whiskeys had so many layers and complexity! (Not counting stodgy hedge-fund managers here!) We will definitely plan a stop here when we head out to the wine country again. read more

I was visiting the area from Chicago and was excited to try whiskey after a few wineries and was not disappointed! Distilling since 2016, all of our whiskeys offered in our tasting room have been made on-site, grain to glass. Our first reviews from Whiskey Advocate were released in the Summer 2022 issue where both submissions received 90 points (Outstanding: a whiskey of superior character and style).

They have indoor and outdoor seating with some of the outdoor seating covered and some completely open. We sat inside. The tasting experiences here are great. We've done the cave tour which was amazing and this time we chose the tasting room. I find their wines very enjoyable. They focus on Pinot Noir, but have other varietals as well which I really enjoyed their Chardonnay. After our tasting we upgraded our club membership as we really enjoy the quality wines that they are producing. We joined before they got recognition from major wine publications and they continue to impress me. The service is great as well. The hosts were knowledgeable and really wanted you to enjoy the experience. I certainly recommend stopping into Archery Summit.

It's been three years since our last visit, and the transformation after their renovation is stunning. Modern comfort meets vineyard charm. We enjoyed the outdoor deck overlooking the valley, sipping through some of the best Pinot in the region, including their 30-year anniversary bottle, which absolutely delivered. Our tour guide aka server Arnom was a highlight of our visit. Ask for Arnom, he makes wine feel like a story, not just a pour. His enthusiasm, deep knowledge, and perfect pacing made every tasting memorable. The cave system is a must-see, and the indoor tasting room feels like your own secret. We will drink in here next visit. Our tasting fees were waived with our new wine club membership, and we left with a case of wine and memories that will age just as well. Nice job Archery Summit! There were no tastings available, but given the weather we had just driven through to get there, and bc my friend is a certified somm with the CMS, we decided simply to create our own tasting experience from the single pour options made available. Other reviewers have also mentioned it, but when we sought input from the staff to make our initial wine selections, our experience of service was underwhelming. It was frankly a little disappointing given the status and caliber of the house. Gratefully we met Ben who was solidly helpful; he appreciative of our Quest to create a meaningful tasting experience for ourselves, even if we had not been able to score an appointment with a venue host. He was very knowledgeable and spoke to with us without condescension, intelligently answering our questions about the vineyards, wine making processes, and house history. With his help we also learned about some excellent options for dining in the area. Ben poured our selection of four wines and we chose to take the glasses outside on the patio as the rain had stopped. We helped another couple with photos they were trying to take, and then were able to film a few tasting clips against the picturesque back drop of the vineyards. We ordered a serving of the gougères, which came out warm and were delicious. I picked up a bottle of the Zeraphine Pinot Noir for the friend who had recommended the winery, and Mac picked up three bottles including the estate chardonnay, to return to Canada with. All in all a solid self-guided tasting and learning experience.

I highly recommend either starting or ending your day there by visiting the gift shop, trying the various olive oils (with olives they grow there! Roughly 80% percent of their grapes are sold to other wineries, and they created their own wine label in 2003. They are one of the largest olive oil producers in the PNW, supplying the olive oil for Portland-based Salt & Straw's Arbequina Olive Oil Ice Cream. Their hilly property also has different farming blocks at different elevations with unique soil conditions and microclimates, which adds to the complexity of their wines and grapes. SCENIC VIEWS: Durant is perched in the Dundee Hills, and their outdoor seating area offers sweeping views of the Williamette Valley as well as their beautiful property. ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES: The vineyard also includes a gift shop, plant nursery, expansive gardens, a nature trail, event spaces, and more. During my recent visit with two friends, we did a wine flight in their outdoor seating area, ordered the charcuterie board, walked on the nature trail, and ended our visit in the gifted shop where we tasted their fused olive oils. They were so flavorful and robust that I bought a three-pack to bring home with me. While I'm sure the employee did not have malicious intentions, his comment still had a negative impact on her as a mother of interracial children. I'm noting this with the hope that these uncomfortable situations can be avoided in the future.
