I met Dr. Killeen at Temecula Valley hospital in March 2021, where I had been previously mis-diagnosed at Riverside Community Hospital..with extreme pain in upper chest. Dr. Kileen was amazing and I was so impressed with his knowledge, care, that I asked to be seen privately as a patient in his office. I feel I am in good hands and its too bad that I read some bad reviews on him. The medical field is tough these days and what people are experiencing is a faulty medical system NOT the individual doctor...I have many family members in the medical field and I know this first hand. I also know, that doctors like Dr. Killeen are hard to find these days. He spends time with you and is and excellent physician. Beware. This is not slander, because it is all true. I'd like to see him deny it. If you're looking for a Pulmonologist that tells me, his patient of many years, that masks aren't necessary during Covid, and then argues with me about that statement for a few minutes, and proceeds to walk out of the exam room and storms back to his office, then you have found your dream doctor in Dr. Killeen. Dr. Killeen WAS my favorite doctor, and he can be very charming and I think is usually knowageable. That is why I gave him 3 stars. Otherwise, it would have been 1 star. I checked my Medicare bill and he billed Medicare for a LONG visit, which would be about 40 minutes. He was with me for less than 5 minutes when he left me standing there and walked out on me after unprofessionally arguing with me about the wearing of masks during a pandemic. I've been in the medical field for 30 year and am now 71 years-old. Who does he think he is arguing with a patient like that and then DEFRAUDING MEDICARE AND MY SECONDARY INSURANCE. I reported him, by the way to Medicare and intend to notify the Medical Board of California (mbc.ca.gov) that he is charging Medicare for services he does not provide, his unprofessionalism with patients, and his misinforming patients during a pandemic. read more

I was referred to Dr. Killeen by Temecula Valley Hospital, where I received great care. Most of his reviews are glowing, but I cannot say much for his office person, Jasmine. Rude, cold, unfriendly, "no time for you", "take it or leave it" , imperious attitude. I'm 80 this year, 25 years in the medical field. I have never been treated as caustically as this person treated me. My first appointment is for three months hence. No discussion. He must be a very busy man. We came into temecula valley hospital because my mom was having difficulty breathing. She was given xrays and they told us she had a lump in her lung and admitted her right away. The family was in panic mode for 2 days until we finally met Dr. Killeen. We felt no hope at all before seeing him. People came in and out of her room with bad news. I have a fairly big family and we were all squeezed into her room and slept on the floor and chairs trying to figure out what to do. He came in with a relaxed calm peaceful tone and told us the truth in a very caring way. We all needed some peace after 2 days of confusion and partial information. My Cardiologist recommended this doctor. I called to make an appointment and the person who answered the phone and his web site said they were taking new patients but the first question was what kind of insurance did I have? I have been told it's a good PPO. Blue shield/anthem. When I told her she said they were not accepting new patients until July. What? This is a doctor who really wants to help patients? Or more concerned about what kind of insurance you have. read more

WOW am very very surprised am the first review for such a Doctor. Believe because of its suburban location People are just not there yet using the Internet as a form of resource. Dr. Killeen wish my writing (don't believe it can) bring justice to this Dr., and his Practice. Sharp as hell, willing to keep digging in, follow through, lift you up, care, his intelligence, mannerism, communication, ease, GIFT. One Dr. Killeen shares so well. Two visits - never do a review after one. The consistency what really then tells me what I experienced wasn't just a welcoming moment. Dr. Killeen's method and who he is. Came out each visit better, (encase any of my friends I am OK) and actually better not only physically - his mannerism really helps with LEARNING. You know more too. I met Dr Killeen years ago, in the hospital, while my mother was hospitalized with a blood sugar reading of over 400. She had not been diagnosed previously with diabetes. Dr Killeen had been her Dr for years, yet I'm not sure why because she doesn't have a lung condition. I was under the impression that he was her primary doctor. At the hospital, I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and care Dr Killeen displayed when he told me my mother was "crazy". It appeared he didn't want to be bothered with her. Later, my sister told me that Dr Killeen used the f-word while speaking to her about our mom. I've never had an experience with a Dr like this before. It almost seems unheard of, but unfortunately true. I changed my mom's Dr soon afterwards & she was diagnosed with diabetes and Alzheimer's. "Crazy" was not a diagnosis by any of her new doctors. Compassion & professionalism were definitely lacking with Dr. Killeen. read more

This doctor sends patients to emergency room, so not see them. Leaves the patient without any help and goes away. Dr Killeen says "I didn't know" but apparently this a standard procedure of what the office tells patients of this doctor. read more

After moving to this area from LA County 18 months ago, my daughter, who is an RN, got me an appointment with Dr. Killeen. I'm pretty sure he saved my life, I was on medications for heart problems (14 heart stents)....my hair had completely fallen out & I was having trouble breathing. During the initial examination he knew EXACTLY what drug was doing the damage and also causing a serious lung disease. My lung disease is gone plus my hair is actually growing back in... but the lung disease could have easily caused my death. He's by far the best doctor I've ever had...I've had to be admitted to the hospital for other problems---I'm 73. Every time a hospital employee hears me say that Dr. Killeen is my doctor they ALL say how lucky I am.....I AGREE!!!!! read more

Dr. Killeen may be a good doctor but his office staff is the worst I have ever had to deal with. To them it's about the money not about the patient. Expeected me to pay a no show fee even though I told them I would not be able to make the appointment when they called to confirm but since I didn't them at least 48 hours notice they want $25 from me.... After waitng 3 weeks on the waiting list to see him I was told they would not schedule an appointment for me unless I paid that charge. No thanks I will find a new doctor.... read more

Dr. Timothy Killeen is a compassionate, caring excellent doctor. He spends time and listens to your concerns. He doesn't rush to find a quick diagnosis. My husband is also his patient and on a regular check up Dr Killeen noticed there was a potential problem. Because of his insight a very serious problem was taken care of.
