I had my initial appointment I was brought back and waited for 45-50 minutes before the PA came for my appointment. That's far too long of a wait time for a first visit. Nothing about the appointment or office was remotely holistic, it's all western medicine. I was told that I didn't have a co-pay, but turns out they were incorrect and now have a bill from them (just wish they wouldn't have lied to me about this.) The appointment wasn't even for a physical, it was only "establishing care" as they call it. I had x-rays done and I had a follow-up appointment scheduled, the x-rays came back normal so I cancelled the appointment because it seems that they are money grabbing and trying to schedule unnecessary appointments in order to bill insurance. In my experience most offices will have the Dr or PA call you with results, especially when they are normal. Save yourself the time and money and find a different primary care office. Please don't advertise as being a holistic Medical office when that's clearly not what your office does.

I questioned the diagnosis because his symptoms seemed much more consistent with swimmer's ear, especially since he had pain when his outer ear was touched or pulled and had been spending a lot of time swimming underwater. I took him to his pediatrician for a second evaluation, and the pediatrician diagnosed swimmer's ear, not a middle-ear infection, and prescribed ear drops instead. I'm very glad I trusted my concerns and had him rechecked before starting an oral antibiotic he apparently didn't need. When it comes to children, I expect careful evaluation before antibiotics are prescribed. This experience left me with very little confidence in Carbon Health for pediatric care.

She is gracious, patient, knowledgeable, and thorough. Because it was Mother's Day, as the clinic director, she opted to come in to let other members of the staff have the day off. She took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly evaluate my condition. She provided a clear diagnosis and treatment plan that she took the time to explain in detail. Both Savannah and Brenda at the front desk were so patient in helping me troubleshoot some issues I was having with the app. The clinic is clean and spacious. I arrived for the first time with no appointment and was in and out in less than an hour. But more importantly, I left with a treatment plan, medication submitted to my pharmacy, and the confidence that I know what to do to get better. If I could give more than five stars I would. I'm so thankful for Carbon health urgent care in Temecula! (Although I hope I don't have to come back, I will definitely return for any urgent care needs and will tell my friends and family to do the same.)

It breaks my heart that I have to come back and update a once glowing testimony about this place…read morebut after being an established patient at this office for primary care I now am being left on a back burner and having my needs ignored. What once felt like a teammate on my side helping me reach my healthcare goals has now become just another form of control over my life keeping me "in my place" and disallowing me from getting what I need to live my best life. Gatekeeping behavior from office staff who shut me down and are rude and abrupt when dealing with me. They put things in my chart that rightly have no place and then when questioned about it my request are outright ignored. They misinterpret my requests and then send me a cold sharp email outlining why they will not assist me with my request even though they openly admit in the email to have misinterpreted my request and are just trying to make my life difficult. Be careful who you trust to take care of you and your family because once they start putting stuff into your medical records its there for forever and there is no correction to their mistakes that rooted in their misinterpretation of the information you provide them. They will then blame you for not having provided true and correct information so I would advise everyone to take your request to this office in writing and only in writing and to always retain a written copy for your own records so they can not do to you what they are doing to me.

Since you can't efficiently get ahold of anyone on the phone this required my husband to make an extra trip to drive across town to find out in person. Now let's chat about the Patient Portal where we messaged the Doctor on February 11th and the office did not return our call/message for A MONTH. 2nd appointment. Our $100 copay was conveniently collected but our appointment time came and went with zero communication from the office. I remained in a hold queue for 30 minutes, about to hang up when a text comes through with a Zoom link. Dinner is now cold, there is zero respect for patient time and I am expected to join this call as if I was not just completely inconvenienced at the cost of $100. At the end of the day we are all trying to navigate a broken system. Practices that have zero respect for patient time are not helping. I can't in good faith recommend this office with my recent experience that spanned over a few months.

As someone who had struggled with hemorrhoids for years, I finally gathered the courage to schedule…read morea hemorrhoidectomy after an awful month-long flare up. Going in, I had a lot of anxiety as I knew how difficult the recovery from hemorrhoid surgeries could be. I decided to seek out Dr Chung as my surgeon in hopes of a smoother recovery. He provided detailed pre-op and post-op instructions which eased my anxiety a bit. I also like that he uses fancy stuff like laser, botox, and Exparel to aid in the recovery. By all accounts my surgery was successful. Nevertheless, as my luck would have it, I ended up having complications and subsequently had a really difficult months-long recovery. During that time, Dr Chung regularly checked in on me and provided professional guidance on when to get labs, when to start antibiotics, or when to seek additional medical advice. He was knowledgeable and empathetic towards my struggles. He also filled out my SDI application/extension and work accommodation without hesitation. During my times of need, having a surgeon that is easily reachable by phone was beyond helpful. Dr Chung doesn't take insurance and his fees can be a bit steep. However, if you have the means, I highly recommend him as he is truly an outstanding colorectal surgeon who puts a lot of care into his patients.

He was always responsive, patient, and reassuring. I will never forget that he even saw me the day before Thanksgiving, bringing his young boys along because he had no childcare. That moment showed me the kind of person he is. Most of my appointments were on Saturday evenings, the only time my husband could drive me. I still remember pulling up to his clinic, a clean, safe, quiet building, with his car often the only one in the parking lot. Despite the late hours, he never once rushed an appointment. I always felt fully cared for. By the end of this process, I truly believe he saved me from what could have been a very dangerous situation had I followed the original surgical plan in my home state. Dr. Chung is warm, knowledgeable, deeply empathetic, and kind. When he says his services are a flat fee, he truly means it. There were no surprise charges, no added fees at any point in the process, and no pressure. I never felt neglected or forgotten. What stands out most now, looking back after 7 months, is not just the care I received in the moment, but the way he guided my healing over time. He never rushed the process or pushed me toward timelines that did not feel right for my body. My recovery was based on how my body healed, not dictated by insurance timelines.
