Doctor David Lee and Doctor Sumer Kanaan, are two of the most amazing doctors I've ever had. I had surgery last week. Dr. Lee remained attentive and visited me daily in my hospital room to do a brief check in and reassure me that my recovery was going well. Although I am still in a bit of pain, I am hopeful and encouraged that I will heal soon and my quality of life will be improved. I definitely recommend them both. Thank you Dr. Lee and Dr. Kanaan. Very unprofessional I am now on my second physician from this office and have had a very poor communication level with both of them . Today was supposed to be my second follow up appointment with someone from this office I was called and checked in for a telimed appointment and was told I would be called back around 1 pm after not hearing anything up until 3:50 I was still told don't worry they will call you back .. well they are closed for the day and there was never a returned call .. I would recommend if you are new here to maybe find another office. read more

I have been coming to this office for years and the last 3 months dealing with this office and the 2 physicians that I have dealt with have both dropped the ball on communication with me . Today was supposed to be a follow up appointment with the second physician they scheduled me with . They called to confirm my appointment and assured me by the end of the day I would get a call back from the physician. But again I was met with more unprofessionalism, it is now almost 8 pm the office has been closed for hours and I received no call back for my follow up .. I would recommend that if you are new to this office tread lightly and you may want to find another office..the 2 physicians that I have dealt with at this office are Sandra hlavac and Rajesh velivolu. read more

NEVER and I mean NEVER go to either of their "multi specialty clinics" (one in Temecula Parkway and another in De Portola). They don't really care about their patients. The front desk reps are so over their heads. Not helpful and very, very callous. I wouldn't even give them 0 star, if that would have been possible. read more

Due to an error on the part of my PCP, I ended up in a different Chakrabarty office yesterday, though I think it was providential. As a Murrieta resident, I've been a patient of Dr.Chakrabarty Sr.'s son for five or six years and so it gave me the honor to to meet the man who inspired him. He couldn't say enough of how proud he was of a son who out-did his own father. He even gave me a tour of his office and showed me a family photo. I told him how much I always admired the kind of medicine they practice, and how G.I. Excellence and Trinity never get enough atta-boys for the lives they literally save., or in my case are spared from Barretts leading to Cancer. I have his son and the team at Trinity to thank for that. He went on to say, "probably 97% of patients sit in our offices and tell us similar things, but it's that 3% 'vocal minority' that make their negative experiences known on yelp and google. Why don't you be one that leaves a positive review?" I'd say that was the best prescription any doctor gave me. read more

Beautiful like new medical office! I live the floors, marble countertop, the pictures of some of the doctors hanging in the walls and the general image that looks more like a spa than a healthcare facility. They share building with a medical assistant training school and share plaza with other medical centers. read more

What a joke this place is. My spouse has an urgent (their word) referral from another physician so I called Monday 7/6/26 to make an appointment for my spouse. I was told that they would have to refer my request for an appointment to management since there was no availability and that I would get a call back. I called again on Wednesday 7/8/2026 and was told that a second request would be sent to management and I would receive a call back. Today (7/10/2026) I called the referring physician's office to find out what was going on. I was told that they would contact Trinity. I later was told that they (Trinity) call back today. It is now 7:10 PM and obviously they are closed and I have still not received a call back from Trinity. Personally I find that not only unprofessional but also dangerous for their potential patients. read more

Dr. David Lee basically saved my life twice now and if it wasn't for him, the pulmonary interventional department at UCSD where I am being treated for cancer, would've recommended a very serious thoracic surgery that Dr. Lee was fortunately able to solve with prednisone. Not only that but the interventional pulmonologist at UCSD had seen me just days prior and told me they were going to send my scans to the tumor board basically to see what they would advise in terms of surgery and they at no point actually examined me or checked my oxygen levels and they were just basing their opinion on my chest xray. Days later when I couldn't breathe or get anyone to respond from UCSD I was able to get in to see Dr. Lee that day and he couldn't believe I was allowed to leave UCSD in the condition I was in and he said I was very close to being admitted to the hospital and placed on a ventilator. He is an amazing pulmonologist and I wouldn't go anywhere else! I just can't thank him enough first for initially treating me in the hospital when my lung collapsed and then weeks later when I was again having trouble breathing. You would think I could trust my cancer team at UCSD but at least as far as pulmonologists go Dr. Lee is the best!! read more

If you are suffering with gastro problems find another office for help. Horrible group of all women working in the office, caddy, insulting and demeaning towards me. I need a brain surgery and just had my gall bladder removed, and am very sick. Vomiting bile and other stuff, repeatedly but they cannot get me in. I loath these people for doing nothing to help me. Rude phone worker, yes the phone worker / scheduler on the phone insulting me accusing me of losing paperwork for blood work. I called her a B... was never given anything, sat in their office last time I was there waiting for a half hour to be dismissed and walked out with NOTHING. No compassion no help what so ever. I had to travel out of town, have called them repeatedly to see if they can move up an appointment, the gal on phone today says "we can't do anything to help you." read more

I started my GI care about 10 years ago with both father and son Drs Chakrabarty at GI Excellence Hemet office. I was happy and satisfied with my care so when the son went off on his own to Temecula I decided to stick with him. Everything was ok until about maybe 5 years ago when since then the office staff and dr's care, in my experience, has declined. I haven't even been able to get an appt with him for several years and was seeing the PAs. This past year or two the care hasn't even been there. Whenever I've wanted to talk about the issues I'm having, she just shrugged it off leaving me with no answers. Then she leaves for maternity leave without any suggestion to me of which provider to see in her absence. Twice. And the assistants are horrible. When I complained to the PA she defended the assistant showing no compassion to me, the patient! I finally got a phone appt from Dr Amin who I thought would work out, however, I had an ultrasound two months' ago and no one has called me with results! Even after leaving two messages for it. Dr Amin suggested I do an in-office test about three months ago and yet the office staff can't schedule it! They say they only schedule up to a month (?) and will call me - have I been called - no! I've even called. When I do call they repeatedly ask me my name and birthdate! Do they not listen or write it down?! I keep giving them updates to my records too to no avail. So I finally decided it was time to leave! I saw my new GI Dr yesterday and boy what a change! He spent more than 5 minutes with me, listened, talked, offered good advice for my issues. Not only that but since I have Barrett's esophagus he told me I should be having an endoscopy every 4-5 years! Not one person at this office has advised me I was ever due for this and it's maybe been 7 years since my last one! I know it was before COVID. I'm due for a colonoscopy as well which no one has bothered to mentioned. My opinion is Dr Chakrabarty got too big for himself and has thus not cared about personal care anymore. His staff doesn't either. read more
