It's been my experience, that doctors are not thinking of their patients needs, but how many test they can put you through, I believe that's how they make some of their money. Dr. Z (Zickafoose) is my Primary and she was referred to me by a good friend. I have never been so happy as I am with this super professional and kind practice. My last doctor, stared at his computer and never really acknowledged me. And it was always a rushed appointment it seems.... TELE visits were a 3 minute phone call. Danielle Contreras, NP was very thorough with my TELE visit and she did it via video conference, I was so happy I didn't have to drag myself out of bed and she took her time. To say I am beyond thrilled would be an understatement.

We are very much in agreement with that form of medicine (Blue Zones), which looks for cause, rather than throwing a pharmaceutical at the symptom, and looks for natural ways and supplementation to heal the body! We are quite happy so far. We've had no problem reaching the appointment desk and scheduling appointments. The Athena Health website has been great for asking and receiving timely answers to questions I've had. The onsite lab has also been extremely helpful. Only one thing that others have mentioned in their reviews is that online questionnaires were not logged and once at the appointment, we were asked to redo it, which was bothersome. Overall, the care we've received has been wonderful! Dr Lily is awesome and we hope to continue here for many years to come!

Different antibiotics were prescribed and I was instructed to schedule a primary care follow up for continued treatment. Earliest available appointment was telemedicine about nine days out (next available in-person was 3+ weeks out). The day before my appointment, I received a voicemail stating they won't see me because I have to have an in-person appointment first and urgent care 'doesn't count'. I guess since I'm not dying, they don't need to see me.

Now that I'm on Medicare since November of last year, I had to find another doctor and fortunately, she popped up on the list and was taking "new" patients. I couldn't believe some of my information was still in her system from 2014. My very first physical exam will be conducted in March. Communication is very easy & convenient via their patient portal. All my messages are answered promptly and thoroughly. I'm very pleased & impressed with this system. I am overjoyed to be under her care again. She's very kind and compassionate as before. Her staff is friendly and helpful. I'm so glad that Kathy is still there as she was always so friendly & helpful. I know that Dr. Ocampo will keep me in optimum health as I advance into my senior years.

The staff is so friendly and helpful, especially Kathy and Emma. We're always met with a smile and taken right away for our appointments, never have an issue with referrals, prescriptions, or getting results. It's hard to find a doctor and staff who truly cares for their patients, but Dr.Ocampo has always gone above and beyond to make sure we received the best care.

Every doctor I was assigned to either wasn't accepting new patients, was impossible to get an appointment with, was leaving the practice, or I just couldn't get ahold of anyone. I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant and recently moved here from Michigan, so I really needed to get established with a doctor and get a referral to an OBGYN. I hadn't been able to see anyone in months and was getting pretty stressed about it. Atiga got me in quickly, and when I went in for my appointment I barely had to wait at all. Staff at the front desk was so nice, and the doctor was incredibly kind and patient with me. She knew I needed to get into an OB as soon as possible and got the referral going right away. The first OBGYN they referred me to ended up not accepting me because I'm considered high risk and they would only take a referral from another OBGYN. I called Atiga back and explained what happened, and they immediately started working on getting me another referral. There was no runaround or feeling like I had to keep calling and bothering someone just to get help. Even the woman I spoke with who handles referrals was so nice and helpful. Honestly, every person I've dealt with there has been great. After having such a hard time finding a doctor since moving back here from Michigan, it's such a relief to finally find an office where people are kind, responsive, and actually seem to care about helping you. I'm really glad I found them.

For years, I was always seen by nurse practitioners rather than an actual doctor. The main reason I stayed was simply because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of finding a new primary care office. That changed when Dr. Feeney joined the practice. He is wonderful! His bedside manner is excellent, he's attentive, he actually listens, and I never feel rushed or dismissed during my appointments. I have nothing but positive things to say about him and the care he provides. Unfortunately, the office itself is a completely different story. It wasn't great to begin with, but lately it has become incredibly frustrating just trying to make an appointment. No one seems to answer the phone anymore. You have to leave a message and wait for someone to call you back just to schedule. If you happen to miss their return call, you have to call again, leave ANOTHER message explaining that someone called you back and you missed it, and then wait for another return call. It turns into an unnecessary game of phone tag just to schedule an appointment. For a medical office, being able to reach someone and schedule care should not be this difficult. After being a patient for more than 10 years, it's disappointing to see the office become even harder to communicate with. Dr. Feeney is honestly the bright spot here and the main reason I continue coming, but the communication and scheduling process desperately needs improvement! I'd hate to leave Dr. Feeney but it may be time to find a new doctors office.

It breaks my heart that I have to come back and update a once glowing testimony about this place…read morebut after being an established patient at this office for primary care I now am being left on a back burner and having my needs ignored. What once felt like a teammate on my side helping me reach my healthcare goals has now become just another form of control over my life keeping me "in my place" and disallowing me from getting what I need to live my best life. Gatekeeping behavior from office staff who shut me down and are rude and abrupt when dealing with me. They put things in my chart that rightly have no place and then when questioned about it my request are outright ignored. They misinterpret my requests and then send me a cold sharp email outlining why they will not assist me with my request even though they openly admit in the email to have misinterpreted my request and are just trying to make my life difficult. Be careful who you trust to take care of you and your family because once they start putting stuff into your medical records its there for forever and there is no correction to their mistakes that rooted in their misinterpretation of the information you provide them. They will then blame you for not having provided true and correct information so I would advise everyone to take your request to this office in writing and only in writing and to always retain a written copy for your own records so they can not do to you what they are doing to me.

The only positive I can honestly note is that the wait time was short and we were seen quickly. Unfortunately, the care we received after that was very concerning. My daughter was seen for a significant infection, and we followed the treatment plan exactly as prescribed. However, I have serious concerns that the antibiotic prescribed may not have been adequate for the severity of her condition, as her infection worsened in the following days. She ultimately had to be admitted to the hospital for several days for further treatment, where the hospital confirmed, she was given an improper dosage of antibiotics and also poor post-care instructions. As a parent, it was incredibly distressing to feel like things were not improving despite following medical instructions carefully. Communication and follow-up felt limited, and I left feeling uncertain about the level of attention given to her condition. I'm sharing this because I would strongly caution other families--especially those with children dealing with infections or urgent conditions--to seek a second opinion or consider other urgent care options. Based on our experience, I would not return.

This urgent care is conveniently located on Temecula Parkway in a complex which contains an imaging…read morecenter, lab and pharmacy right in the same building. Although you can't make an appointment, I guess I got lucky and had a very brief wait after completing my paperwork. The waiting area and exam rooms were clean and modern and the receptionist was pleasant. I had a PA (which I only know from the notes afterward since he never introduced himself). He was brusque, quick and had no greeting or smile to offer. He ordered a test to be done there as he was walking out the door (without giving me any additional info as to why). The x-ray tech was wonderful, as was the imaging check-in person who confirmed what the PA was looking for in ordering the test. I walked back down the hall after the test (with results apparently read within mere minutes which was shocking and actually made me wonder how it was possible...) and this same PA said he was ordering meds and told me to follow up with my primary doc and go to an ER if it gets worse. ookaay thanks, I guess. I called the day after my visit to confirm my insurance info since I was viewing an incorrect plan listed on the patient portal. At that time, I also asked about being able to request a doctor instead of a PA should I return to this urgent care. I got some valuable info which would affect my coming back. I was told there are NO doctors ever there, only PAs...AND there is only one PA working there on any given day. I questioned this, as it seemed I was hearing at least one other provider entering another exam room the day I was there (walls are thin and I could hear her greeting the patient and asking reason for visit, etc.) Regardless, the receptionist told me I could ask who was on call that day and if it was someone I didn't want, I'd just have to call and check back another day. While there are many great reviews for this urgent care - overall rating being the reason I was even there - I'm saddened to have to give this a so-so rating based on the PA who treated me. I appreciate the pros of having imaging, lab and pharmacy right on the premises, but I'd feel more comfortable if a doctor was available and if not, to at least know there are several PAs to choose from. I see in reading recent reviews that there are several negative one-stars, one of which specifically names the same PA I had. Everyone else I dealt with there was wonderful and although it may not be practical to have to call and possibly come another day in an acute situation, I would return if I could see someone else.
