Very good Doctor with amazing staff. I like them all. Right on time no delays, I will highly recommend him.

I contacted the doctor's office to see if they can recommend a PCP in my local area since i have moved about 35 miles. I was told that the office manager, Roxie, will get back with me. Roxie never called me. After some time i called to have a referral to a neurologist, i was told that i am not their patient anymore. I was floored. I asked why; they said because i already moved to another doctor. So, i said no i didn't move yet and i didn't ask for my records to be moved. After the fifth call and my insistence the office manager Roxi got on the phone and said said that their policy was that once i ask for my records to be moved they will not take me back. I tried to tell her that i didn't ask for my records to be moved. She said that I did and that i asked my records to be moved to the new doctor. I said ok, tell me who is the new doctor. She placed me on hold for a while then she came back and said that my records have been flagged because i told them that i was thinking about moving. Roxie was very rude to me. She woukd not let me talk and explain to her that i didn't ask for my records to be transferred to anyone. I tried to explain the situation to her but she insisted that i am no longer their patient as if they are punishing me for even thinking about moving. I have never seen so unprofessional attitude in my life. read more

I love this doctor Internal Medicine Dr Michael Boss take very good care of his patient and talk to him thorough and also listen to them. go over his over to make sure his patient is taken care of. He actually goes to the hospital to check up on them and make sure when they're out of his office called to see if they need anything.. the staff is not just full of women. There's a guy that works here too and they're also very respectful, courtesy and very understanding virtually I wish I can see him again, but he does not take the IEP. He also have seen my son and my son love that doctor very much so we have been waiting until he can start back taking IHP. He's taking good. Very good care of me and trust me. I am a very complicated hard patient. But this off care got care of me. He is the best Internal Medicine doctor here in our area read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Michael Basch for the last ten years. After careful looking we found this doctor. He is professional, through and takes the time needed to find solutions . His office staff is wonderful, Lexi, Michelle and Rosa are just part of the office staff, they do their best to get things done. When I first went to Dr. Basch, he was caring and concerned but after 3 yrs.He has gotten worse. He seems uncaring and arrogant. He never gets back with you on blood work or x- rays. He doesn't know anything about me. I have to remind him. I would not recommend him to anyone. His staff is okay with the exception of Roxie. She is rude and very unfriendly. read more

First time visit with this doctor. Filled out paperwork etc and was seen on time. Was out of the office in about 15-20 mins. I went in for insurance required annual, but was told when I was there they don't do that for first time visits and this was standard business practice. When I got my bill I was charge for a level 5 service. Which according to medicare is for 4 or more medical conditions or 60 mins of face to face patient time. I had none of these issues and tried to call to find out why they charged that code. They told me on the phone the only person able to change a code is the doctor himself and he won't talk to anyone on the phone. Office staff was nice to begin with and then would talk over you and put the phone down while you were talking and start talking in the background. They told me that I would have to come back in to talk to the doctor. At this point I was afraid they would charge me for another office visit. They charged double of the average cost for a new patient visit for the area. This is such poor business practice and not a good way to start a relationship with a new patient. I had nothing wrong with me, and I couldn't imagine how much they would charge me and my insurance for anything else. I would not recommend this doctor or their office to anyone. read more

You can tell he became a doctor to help his patience. After 2 1/2 years of pain and 2 other doctors I was at the point that I wanted to give up. Then I saw Dr. Basch and the first thing he said is let's get an MRI. He wants to find out what is wrong and improve my quality of life. He has given me hope again. read more

This doctor is the worst. There are so many negatives I doubt I would have the space to write them. First, I was in the hospital and he was my attending physical. He came in to review my discharge paperwork and he tells me to go to my primary physician within the next three days. I looked at him and stated, "YOU are my primary physician". So the entire time he saw me in the hospital he didn't know he was my doctor. I also got a bill from him and it went to collections because my insurance said all doctors were paid. Another time I went into his office and they did an EKG because of my blood pressure. The nurse completed the test and looked at me and proclaimed that I recently had a heart attack. I was shocked and very worried and distraught. They referred me to one of their cardiologist but I decided to pick my own doctor. When my cardiologist reviewed the EKG he was laughing. He say I didn't have a heart attack they just put the wires in the wrong place when they did my EKG! Who would tell a patient that without retaking the EKG or at least having someone else check the results like maybe Doctor Bausch! The last time I went to him he had a group of interns with him. He looks at me ( he has never touched me in four years), and when I asked about my prescriptions I usually take, he said I should go to a psychiatrist to get them because he was only going to give me a beta blocker. When he left the examine room the nurse looked at me and said,"you don't have to go to a psychiatrist ". He has prescribed these meds for me for the last four years but suddenly when he has an audience he doesn't see the need. Pathetic! Getting any prescription from their office is like pulling teeth. Roxie always says the pharmacist received her request but the pharmacist always said the opposite. Since I have a new doctor the problems have stopped and I have no issues so I now know where the problem was.....Roxie To top things off I just received a letter inviting me to join his "special group of patients" that have the privilege of his care 24/7 for an extra fee. This is called a concierge health care that usually have doctors that are considered excellent in their field and have a good bedside manner. Doctor Bausch does not have any of those qualities plus his billing practices are shady. I thought any good doctor would be available for their patients without having them pay an extra fee. This is unconscionable and to me very unethical. I have two friends that were in Doctor Bausch's care and decided to find other doctors. He never checks your pulse, heart beat, throat, abdomen, skin tone etc. He examines patients from across the room and has his nurses and/ or NPs do all the examines he should be responsible for. If anyone wants to pay an annual fee of $1000.00-$1500.00 to get the worst possible care, go for it, but I'll stick to an old fashioned doctor that cares about their patients and not the almighty dollar. read more

It is amazing how people are so fast on the trigger. Dr bash is wonderful, generous, and God fearing, not to add to his professionalism and expertise. It is a shame that only two unsatified people leave a review, when Dr. Bash sees and treats hundreds of people. I give him 5 stars, I would give him more if Yelp allows. First of the office staff, All females, and ALL very rude. Especially Michelle the referral lady. They are very unprofessional they hang up on you, and don't care about the patients needs. They sit on the butts all day and do nothing productive. They even are rude to your face. When people are just doing what insurance asks and they can't answer your questions with out attitude and making you feel stupid. I don't suggest Bausch for anyone, he specializes in geriatrics it seems and really doesn't wanna work to hard on any difficult case. If your to difficult of a case and actually make them do there job they write you off and decline your services with a 30 day letter to find a new doctor! The only reason this office still is in existence is because of his PA Samantha. He needs new staff, and to retire! Bottom line this office is a joke! Don't waste your time! read more

Find a more reliable physician. In this area we wait a long time for an appointment to see our doctor, this is no different for Dr. Basch, but he will either be extremely late and give you no time, or he will cancel all together just a few days before your appointment. After waiting several weeks (normal) my 1st appointment with him finally came, when I arrived, I waited an hour and a half + past my appointment time to see him due to him being called into the hospital, which happens, but the office didn't even bother to call. He finally shows up and barely gives me 5 minutes of his time. I also had to follow up for my blood results. Now I decided to try again several months later and I wait for 3 weeks, then 4 days before my appt I get a call that the doctor has decided to take that week off, how convenient... they would like to reschedule me for the first week of April. I call back and they offer April 9th as the soonest. So not the 1st, but the 2nd week of April, an additional 3 weeks... So 6 weeks for an appointment and that's assuming he follows through with the rescheduled one. He also does not have a PA, so he's the only option. This provider has no commitment and that is extremely frustrating when you are trying to better your health. I will be looking for a new provider now. read more

Be cautious with mental health issues and this doctors office. I was a patient of this doctor for two months. My purpose was to get help with severe anxiety and depression. On my first visit I waited 1.15 hours in the office. I was not impressed by this physician, he referred to antidepressants as "HAPPY PILLS". That was the first flag. He also removed my anxiety medication saying that they only make you sleepy (hydroxyzine makes you sleepy but is great for anxiety control). A month later I am back in his office for another mental health checkup. I sit in the room for 1.3 hours without a nurse checking on me or explaining the wait. At that point my anxiety triggered and I approached a nurse about the wait. When I expressed my concern over the wait and how much longer it might be, I was given a curt and borderline rude response from the staff member and I was walking away she laughed under her breath. Needless to say I ket the staff know how unhappy I was and left. Three days later I get a letter from the doctor withdrawing from our agreement. This doctor is as shallow as his staff are. Regardless of his race or religion, this doctor is subpar, his staff is undertrained and rude, and I will also be sending a more complete letter of our interaction to the California medical board. Mental health should be the first priority for any medical staff or facility in the current social environment. read more

I came in for a Routine Wellness exam. Apparently, they don't do Wellness Exams on your first visit, and have to refer you out. So, I fasted and didn't get my Wellness Exam, and got charged for nothing. read more

I have no idea what these other reviews are talking about. I have seen Dr Basch and he quickly, accurately and easily diagnosed me after I had been to two other doctors and several trips to the ER and urgent cares, given blood 3 times, ultrasounds, X-rays etc. no one could figure it out after everything came back normal so I got scheduled for an invasive procedure "just to see" if anything popped up. I had enough and switched to Dr Basch. Thank God I did!! His staff were all amazing and have been every time I've had to call and his bedside manner is caring and not rushed at alll. I haven't had any problems and they follow like they say they will (which is rare nowadays). I am so glad I found this office and I highly recommend him! read more

Dr. Basch is the best and his office staff, I call "My Girls" are as well. They all always answer my questions, call me back, forward reports, send my patient files to other Dr's, you name it they do it, always with a smile and they never make me feel like an inconvenience. Just this year my husbands company went from one insurance carrier to another, I have many specialists and all I cared about was making sure I could still go to Dr. Basch. Dr. Basch always takes his time, answers questions and is well known and respected within his community. Like I said I have many specialists along with that I have had many trips to the E.R. When I tell them who my primary care is, their response is usually, great Dr. That always feels good, when others in him community say great things about my Dr. I could write much much more, just know this, I am not hard to get along with, but I need a lot, so I am pretty demanding and I feel safe and well taken care of, so much so I transferred my mom to him, my husband and my son when he turned 18. This medical group, doctor and staff do not care at all for the well being of patients. You have to keep calling constantly to get the results of the tests requested which I am sure they do receive right away; however, doctor is so busy he takes forever to read them. You get tired of calling and being pushy in order to receive results you completed a week or more ago. Doctor does not even examine the patients... I called because I have had a cough for a while and instead of finding me an appointment like caring doctor offices do , they oreder an xray !! I am like really??? Anyway, I still did not receive the results. I had to call California Imaging who did fax them the results, now I called again and Roxy stated that doctor is not in " I will call you first thing in the morning." Really? now ?? We shall see.... Anyway, I am definitely finding myself another doctor.... It does not matter how busy they are , they make enough money to hire friendly staff and an NP or PA who can help the doctor. read more

Got a bill from their office. I've never been to his office. He saw me for a brief moment at the hospital to release me, and then I called them monthly to ask why I had a bill with him, they said they would get back to me, and when they did get back to me they couldn't answer my question as to why he was sending me a bill. The lady on the phone said the hospital doesn't pay their doctors, so therefore I have to pay him. I called my insurance company, upset with them, and they said they paid everything that needed to be paid, I got the explanation, and everything was paid. To ignore it because maybe it was a mistake on their end. My insurance company even called them to let them know. However they never got a return call back either. Needless to say, they sent it to collections and it went on my credit. The credit people were apologetic and says they have been seeing a lot of this lately especially from his office. Very upset it went to my credit report, when I called monthly, you couldn't answer why I had a bill, never returned my calls, or my insurance phone calls either. read more

Dr Michael Basch - I would never recommend him ever! He wooed me while admitted at Rancho Hospital with his bedside manner, kindness and seemed to be concerned for my health, collaborating with other drs to find a diagnosis along with giving me his cell phone# without asking for it. Upon switching to be my PCP he would not fit me in to see me within the one week period after being released from the hospital and knowing my medications were running out. He along with his, not nice, appt desk staff had no concern whatsoever to see me when I literally almost died and it was imperative I get my refills! I had to change PCP and out of a Hemet based HMO group. Even trying to do that, the dr stalled the process as he is on the board of the Hemet HMO group. Don't be fooled by his bedside manner, as I'm sure there are plenty of better doctors in the area and seek SD or OC if necessaryI. Everyone has their own opinion and experience - mine went from excellent, to why did I ever switch to him and enter a nightmare! read more

The staff are courteous, professional and care about their patients. Samantha the NP is amazing and quickly deduces what the issues are and educates you on how to manage them or what treatments she recommends. Dr. Basch is a great doctor. As evidenced by his staff he cares about his patients, spending enough time with each patient to understand what is going on. I feel lucky to have found Talia Medical Group. The first practice I selected was more like an assembly line than a doctor's office. I would recommend him to anyone who is willing to meet the doctor and staff halfway in managing their healthcare. read more

My family has gone to Dr Basch for over 5 years. During this time he has gotten so busy that he hardly even looks at you during your visit. He is busy tapping away on his computer. I have COPD and Asthma and it is important that the lungs be checked. He doesn't even listen to them unless I demand it. He gives very little of hands on medical care. He is very reluctant to give referrals even if they are very much needed. Once we changed drs and the new dr. immediately sent me to an Orthopedic dr and when I saw the specialist his first question was why did I wait so long to come see him. I told the Specialist that my GP (Basch) would not give me a referral. Basch told me to exercise more. The joint is completely destroyed by waiting and using it. Girls in the office have always been nice but we needed real medical care. If you are looking for very minimal care or you are healthy then you might like him. If you need some genuine medical help he might not be a good choice. read more

In 2017 I was Hospitalized 3 times Dr Basch was the Dr who was assigned to treat me while I was in the hospital, I was very impressed with Dr Basch and now he is my primary doctor big mistake!!! i should have never change from my previous primary Doctor I dont know what happened but he Definitely Does not take care of me like I would like him to i have been told 3 different diagnosis with new problems that am having he doesn't even spend anytime with me, he always forgets what he had told me from previous appointments that were only a week in between apart, it takes weeks to get results on bloodwork or any type of test results you have had done due the fact that they have been sitting on someones desk, his staff is rude and Put you on hold Numerous times and when they finally answer its usually not the same person that you originally talk to at by that time you are transferred to 3 different people depending on what your problem is it's very annoying when you're not feeling good to keep being transferred from one person to another and they're not even sure what they're talking about, I don't even like calling and making any type of appointments as soon as I am finish with other test that Dr Basch has ordered for me to have done I'm definitely changing doctors. I have no issues with the Doctor.. but we do have issues with the peson that runs the office by the name of Meleney... she is very rude and very uncompassioate with what is happening with the health of a client.. and my husband is her clients caregiver and trustee and she has caused nothing but trouble for him to be able to get the help that his mother needs.. i have never had anyone treat us this way concerning a loved ones health ... i personally would recommend that she gets fired... for her additude caused trouble upon our house and she called the police for no reasons... jsut because my husband got angry with her due to her unwillingness to get the help that his mother of 86 needed... unblelevable to say the least..we are all seniors and we never have ever been treated this way by a doctors office ever.... if it was not for the doctor... we would go somewhere else for her care... read more
