When I told them I had been calling for the last three days, the response was that "at the beginning of the year we have a ton of new patients and phone calls and there are only two of us working." I'm sorry to tell them, but that's part of the job, you work in a medical office and your job is to deal with patients. This has been going on for YEARS. Them not answering the office phone is a continual thing, just last month (December) this happened to my husband and he was getting frustrated. The front office does NOT answer the phone so you can never get through to make an appointment and I have brought it up to Dr Feeney in the past. I will be sad when I have to find a new Dr because of their unprofessionalism. If you go on YELP and look up Atiga in Menifee it shows 1 star also, very sad.

We are very much in agreement with that form of medicine (Blue Zones), which looks for cause, rather than throwing a pharmaceutical at the symptom, and looks for natural ways and supplementation to heal the body! We are quite happy so far. We've had no problem reaching the appointment desk and scheduling appointments. The Athena Health website has been great for asking and receiving timely answers to questions I've had. The onsite lab has also been extremely helpful. Only one thing that others have mentioned in their reviews is that online questionnaires were not logged and once at the appointment, we were asked to redo it, which was bothersome. Overall, the care we've received has been wonderful! Dr Lily is awesome and we hope to continue here for many years to come!

I previously remember appreciating the personability of Dr. Nguyen. They're often better late than never with their wait times, but I was reminded how disposable I felt as a patient especially after waiting 40 minutes and having my biggest concerns barely answered over Dr. Nguyen's shoulder as he rushed to bang out the next patient. I've suffered severe and documented panic attacks, along with epilepsy, for many years long before I met Dr. Nguyen. I have never asked him for a separate prescription beyond the ones he merely approved, although I gratefully relied on a prescription when I lived in the Bay Area from an esteemed, Stanford University doctor and lecturer who took care of me. Today, as Dr. Nguyen rushed to get my visit out, I succinctly and passionately described my struggle with panic attack issues working in Los Angeles, sometimes unable to even breathe, and even having to lose money because such attacks can and will trigger an entire spectrum of seizure disorders I suffer. His only answer? He's going to refer me to a psychiatrist. He barely turned his head. This man is "nice" but he does not care about you. He wants to toss you as somebody else's problem and I bet that somebody is within their network and fulfilling their racket. Nobody on IEHP cares about you. This is precisely why people have to save up and pay cash to doctors who care because Dr. Nguyen does not. You're in the way when it comes to the end of his day.

I loved the feeling of not being "judged" as I answered all the basic health questions. Dr. Matta has an excellent bedside disposition and calmly answered all my questions without making me feel rushed. She patiently listened to all my concerns without making me feel paranoid and ordered a full blood panel to check all my numbers. Calling the office is an infinite hold queue that EASILY exceeds 30 minutes. I did my best to give the benefit of the doubt that it was just a busy day but I am now on my 5th attempt to contact this office and my hold time today exceed 41 minutes before I gave up. Our 1st telehealth appointment was confusing, Dr. Matta was late, then there were zero instructions on how to obtain scripts for labs. We weren't informed which lab the requests were sent to. Since you can't efficiently get ahold of anyone on the phone this required my husband to make an extra trip to drive across town to find out in person. Now let's chat about the Patient Portal where we messaged the Doctor on February 11th and the office did not return our call/message for A MONTH. 2nd appointment. Our $100 copay was conveniently collected but our appointment time came and went with zero communication from the office. I remained in a hold queue for 30 minutes, about to hang up when a text comes through with a Zoom link. Dinner is now cold, there is zero respect for patient time and I am expected to join this call as if I was not just completely inconvenienced at the cost of $100. At the end of the day we are all trying to navigate a broken system. Practices that have zero respect for patient time are not helping. I can't in good faith recommend this office with my recent experience that spanned over a few months.
