I'm not a big fan of Tim Hortons. I don't really care for their donuts or their coffee. However, their breakfast sandwiches are a decent grab and go option when I'm in a hurry. There's one thing on their menu that is a go to for me, though... their BLT. Could I make a better BLT at home with better bacon? Absolutely. But when I'm craving a BLT, the one at Tim Hortons absolutely does the trick. The ingredients are always fresh, it's made to order, and the bread they use is an artisan style roll that's definitely bakery quality. I always order my BLT on a well done roll with extra bacon and mayonnaise, and they've never once given me an issue with customizing it that way. Everyone I've encountered at this particular Tim Hortons has always been extremely friendly and welcoming. With that said, when I'm craving a BLT, I can always get one by just taking a quick trip through the drive thru. read more

I go up to the window and a pink haired girl goes "what did you guys order". Like how do you not know. Second of all, she completely butchered my order and gave me the wrong donuts. I said "hey this isn't right, I ordered..." and she just goes "that'll be 1.50" and i said "no you gave me the wrong order" and she was like "okay thatll be 1.5". I didn't realize you could just do that, but I guess you get what you get and you don't throw a fit even if its not what you ordered. She looked exhausted giving me the fakest smile and I just told her I wasn't gonna argue with her but she did mess up my order. She needs to be managed better or fix her attitude, or else she should just be fired because that customer service was horrendous. read more

It's a cold day and I stopped here for soup. Today I'm told they only have 1 soup choice - chicken noodle. Really!!!!!??? Tim Hortons usually has several selections of soup on the menu especially for lunch on the weekend. Major bummer- looking for a new place for soup on a cold day. read more

I should start by admitting that I generally love Tim Horton's. It is my favorite place to go for donuts, iced cappuccinos, and periodically other things like breakfast sandwiches, and lunches. So I am starting out with that bias! We have been here a few times for donuts the past week, and they have always been fresh. Staff was quick, accurate, and friendly. Stopped in here to pick up my mobile order. Placed my mobile order at 8:16am. I didn't get it handed to me until 8:31am. I literally do not understand their process. Had I chosen drive-up pickup, they would have had to have given me my order. Instead I stood there watching them prep and handle drive thru orders and not make the people in the lobby a priority. They take one person's order at the register and then wander about (literally the person wasn't fetching donuts or coffee). I was watching their process intently as I just do not understand how things could not be run smoothly. 2 stars because the girl who initially ignored me apologized when she handed me the order. Thats something at least. This was not a situation of short staffing....just disorganization and disorder. My order was a coffee with cream and bagel. Nothing fancy. I'll visit the one on North Main St going forward as the service there is better and more organized. read more

Normally I'm not a Karen, but I'm flabbergasted at how this location was run today. I sat at the drive through for over 5 minutes with no response on the intercom before understanding why the guy in front of me drove off in a huff right when I was pulling up. I finally parked and went in and the woman at the counter casually told me "Oh, we're closed. I just haven't gone outside to put a sign up yet." When I was pulling out, I saw the guy that had been behind me sitting at the drive through still and had to tell him they were closed. Gave them $6.13 for an order of $5.38 (hoping to get all quarters back, which we specifically said when she looked at the money handed to her as if it were a cruel joke). She gave us .60 back and no receipt. I know you don't have to be a genius to work fast food, but these are the people demanding $15 an hour. Some skilled workers don't make that. I want to say right off the bat that I only visited Tim Hortons for two reasons: 1. I wanted coffee that wasn't Starbucks while visiting New York. 2. My Canadian friends always talk about it. I really liked the beverage that I got. It was a pumpkin blended drink with an extra shot. The first time I visited this location, the staff were not friendly or helpful. The second time, it was better but not great. I am not a huge doughnut fan so I didn't order any. I think if there were a Tim Hortons locally, I would visit every now and again. Weekday afternoon around 4pm I decided I wanted a coffee for the ride home back to Buffalo, NY. This location has a Tim Hortons as well as a Wendy's drive thru. I had two people in front of me in the drive thru line. They both order which took about 5 minutes each.........eavesdropping on the car in front of me I heard it took so long because 7 out of the 8 things she wanted they were "out of"?? Finally my turn. The only person in front of me and the window is the woman that was in front of me.....1 car. I arrived at the drive thru order speaker and was asked to wait??? that was weird but what choice did I have?? Fast forward.....no one in front of me and I still wait. FINALLY!! I was asked for my order. Large coffee double milk double sugar........Sounds easy right?? NOT!!!! My coffee had cream, not milk and didn't have any sugar it was splenda!!! How is it possible to mess a coffee order up that much. You say maybe they heard me wrong at the speaker?? NOPE because they said my order back to me before I went ahead to the window. read more

I love Tim Hortons coffee and I would have an XL every day but I've had it with waiting in line, in the car, for a coffee while a perennially slow staff prepares elaborate orders for other drive up customers. I tried the drive up 2 times today and even parked and went in to try to place an order. Bottom line I just can't wait and wait and wait for fast food. This afternoon I had to throw in the towel, cross the street and get pretty good cup of coffee for $1 at McDonalds. I didn't have to wait at all there. The golden arches has their shit together. We have been to 3 Tim Hortons in 2 days and all 3 were closed before their advertised time. 2 in Webster NY and 2 in Canandaigua. If the hours have changed, the site needs to be changed. read more

Service was sloppy at the drive-thru. Orders were either missing things from them ( no bacon in the bacon chicken ranch wrap?!), or were given to us messily. The donut box had frosting all over the outside, which had spread on to the other packagings. I can't say that Tim Horton's will be in my list of places I want to eat in the future. read more

DW and I always look forward to heading "up north" so that we can enjoy some Timmy Hortons. This isn't one of the best that we have been to. it shares a location with a Wendy's. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was a little off... the egg seemed a little burnt (even though I think they are cooked in a microwave) and the bacon tasted as if it had been grilled with some onions. We're gonna try and seek out a different location to get our fix before we head back home. read more

While the coffee in this store is fine, and the store personnel are usually friendly, several issues need to be addressed. 1. Service flow: in store customers are often standing around waiting to be served while drive through customers are served first-- even though they came to the store after I did 2. Often I find the store woefully understaffed. This results in undue and annoying wait times. 3. Worst of all the store is dirty and worn. On the outside, you will often find food ground into the walkway, cigarette butts overflowing the ashtrays, and inside, sticky, dirty floors and tables, and torn fabric on the booth seats. Also, I will not use the restroom because it is so unclean. Please do something to correct these problems. Thank you. read more

I am so disappointed in the Tim Hortons in Canandaigua on Booth St. They are in a great location, but the place is VERY DIRTY. This is not dirty from one busy day, but rather displays a lack of good general cleaning. The booths are splashed with old coffee and drink stains, the cracks embedded with crumbs, the floors are gummy and the bathroom is beyond description. I hope the general manager turn this around by investing in good, routine cleaning. Otherwise, I'll be staying away. read more

I came here last year and the croissant was stale. Thought I'd give it another try and the chocolate chip muffin is stale, the bagel is stale and the coffee tastes like tar. I would NOT recommend this place. And the service is bad. read more

Visited Tim Horton's tonight thinking it would be fast to take with us. Wrong! First of all there was a new girl who did not know a thing about any items on the menu. (not her fault) She had to keep asking the only girl (that we saw anyway) via headphones and who was manning the making of food and the drive thru. (not her fault) They did not have 2 of the sandwiches we used to like (changed menu) So I finally settled on a sandwich I was not sure I would like or not and 2 other sandwiches for my husband and sister. Then we said we wanted the iced coffee instead of hot coffee. The girl (who did not know about any of the menu asked my husband if he wanted cream and sugar in his iced caramel coffee. He said no-thinking it may be a sweetened syrup (you usually do not have to do a recipe for iced coffee at least I did not think so) because they proceeded to make my iced mocha with cream and sugar and never asked which was how I would think it should be. Well of course his coffee ended up tasting like medicine and down the road we discovered they never put my sandwich in the bag at all!! We did not bother to go back as we had already waited in line with our questions and answers coming back and forth between the 2 girls (only 2 girls!!) and 2 guys had waited behind us forever so we thought we would just start another long wait-not worth the bother. I'm sad to see these bad reviews! Having a lake house nearby, we frequent this Tim Hortons quite often. They have the most organized and fast drive thru I've ever seen. Staff is friendly and careful with orders, never had one messed up. And you know how frustrating it is to discover a missing or wrong item in the bag once you're home! Their coffee is divine, as are the pastries. Their oatmeal is to die for! I buy 2 or 3 so I'll have them during the week; however, on several occasions the oatmeal isn't "ready" whether it's first thing or an hour after opening. Annoying. Lunch sandwiches are good too, especially the Ham on toasted wheat panini. Nice place to stop and they offer free WiFi. read more

The manager at Tim Hortons on Booth Street in Canandaigua needs to step out from behind the counter (usually crowded with about 15 people going in all directions having difficulty accomplishing anything). He/She should take a good look at the pastry cases from the front where the customers stand. I was planning on having a pastry with my coffee, but could not after I saw the crumbs, dirt,debris and general filth mainly at the bottom of the case. No this is not just crumb accumulation from 1 or 2 days, this filth has accumulated over some time. I know because i go there regularly. Also, take a look around the dining room. You can stick to a table or chair anywhere and there is heavy dust on wood trim over booths. Floor is sticky and greasy and carpet filthy and smelly. In the interest of maintaining customers, seems it would pay to monitor cleanliness a little better than this. I love Tim Hortons coffee and pastries, but I may have to find a new place for my morning ritual. read more
