We stop in here about once a month. Good coffee, good doughnuts, and great breakfast croissant sandwiches. The bacon one isn't great, but the hubby likes the sausage, egg, and cheese and I like the ham, egg, and cheese. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and there are quite a few gas pumps. The donuts in their case are stale. They have four different cup sizes with lids only for two. Their breakfast sandwiches are sad tasteless little things with no variety. The customer service is abysmal, leaving you feeling dismissed while standing in a long line, while the employees joke around behind the counter ignoring you. One time I waited in line for 15 minutes with nobody at the register. Everyone was hiding back in the food prep area talking loudly but out of sight, and it wasn't until one of the customers yelled at them that they decided to send someone up front, and boy did they seem inconvenienced. It's Wednesday.. you know the day that they have the cheeseburgers for a dollar. But at 5:30 they were absolutely no cheeseburgers available to buy. Hell, there wasn't even any being cooked. I went in quickly for a sandwich after spilling water on my jeans. I ended up standing in line for 25 minutes with wet pants and people staring at me all while it took the woman behind the sandwich counter 20+ minutes to make 2 sandwiches for one guy all while the other employee there did nothing to help. Newer Gas station in Canandaigua. It was built in the former place of Ranks IGA on West Ave. Clean and in an easy location to get into from either Pearl St or West Ave. Gas always works. 10/10. Would get gas again. read more

Another Byrne Dairy in Canandaigua, NY. I thought I would stop in to the new West Ave location today to use my get in the door grand opening coupons today. Everything is brand new and sanitary compared to the one on Main St. Parking lot has ample space. Plenty of gas pumps with red glowing neon. Why can't they make it a softer color? After looking around I ordered a cheese slice of pizza. When the clerk handed me my slice I presented the free slice coupon to her. She then asked me why I did not present my coupon prior to asking for the slice.... I told her I was very sorry and it wouldn't happen again. A snide question by her that I thought was unnecessary. The cheese slice had the basics of a pizza except the cheese. I would not take it if they gave it away next time. It is gas station pizza I suppose. After my sorry looking slice was ingested I ordered a small ice cream cone. It was a soft serve that tasted more like a chemical concoction rather than ice cream. Overall I will be probably be back to buy gas only every now and then just out of geographical convenience. I would describe this Byrne Dairy as like the Byrne Dairy on Main St., but cleaner. read more
