Cute new coffee shop along the lakeshore. My husband and I stopped for breakfast before heading out for the day. It was busy! Exactly what the lakefront needed. Food and beverages were good and the staff friendliness was top notch. Will be back.

Stopped in for a coffee while spending the day at the lake. Staff are friendly and speedy with making drinks. Smoothies, lattes, and coffee options. Not safe for anyone with a peanut treenut allergy. Clean and relaxing store front. Indoor and outdoor seating

Don't go here unless you like burnt espresso shots and MOLD!…read moreI don't like leaving bad reviews but felt this one was necessary. While visiting family in Canandaigua I stopped by for a coffee and a young man named Sam was working. I ordered an iced latte and, unfortunately, when I received my drink the espresso shots were burnt and I could not enjoy it. I had to throw it away. I thought I'd give them a second chance another day when I stopped by and ordered an Iced Tea. I figured they couldn't mess that one up! Again, the same guy, Sam was working. I received my iced tea that was luke warm at best; not very refreshing on a hot day. As I took a few sips I noticed that it tasted "off" and when I opened the cup I found MOLD floating inside. I was Horrified and Disgusted!! The guy making my drink had to have noticed that there was mold in it when he was putting the lid on and still decided to serve it to me?! I threw that drink away also. Twice I wasted my money here! Upon returning home I saw my naturopath and he CONFIRMED that I had been exposed to MOLD; which we are still trying to remedy. You've been warned! Do not go here!!! They are amateurs! Save your money and go down the road to 7Brew or Starbucks, where at least their baristas are trained to know how not to burn espresso shots or sell Moldy Iced Tea! 2 star rating= 1 star per visit

My mom and my brother had an appointment in downtown Canandaigua when I was home visiting a couple…read moreweeks ago. My mom said "walk around downtown and take some pics" I did that. as I was doing that I came across this little bakery. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE local bakeries vs buying the processed crap at the stores or buying things at Wegmans, Albertsons, etc bakeries where they no longer bake at the actual stores anymore. Thats just sad. Anyway, I walked in here. The lady was nice. She seemed a little sketched out though for some reason, but super kick back at the same time if that makes sense? lol Anyway, told her I was just checking things out and I would let her know if I needed anything. She came back out from the front and asked again if I needed anything. So, I got a blueberry muffin. I LOVE blueberry muffins, but I never buy them anymore bc I no longer eat most things like that. It's a sad, lonely choice I made....to cut out all the tasty treats in the world lol NOT THIS DAY THO!! haha! I could not resist. The looked incredible and for $2 a piece being as big as they were...I had to. UNBELIEVABLY delicious. I was so happy I got it. Was so tempted to get a few other things, but Ive been so good with my diet...I had to refrain from doing so and just accept my boring, no sugar treats, kind of life lol I absolutely recommend this place. Prices are decent, the lady is nice, but she should realize that not all of us are bad :) The place itself is super cute, very homey, lots to look at and HEY! its a local bakery! You should always support places like this...over Wegmans and certainly over....ugh Walmart! Thanks for reading, Yelpers! Cheers!

I am a cake connoisseur. I test cakes from many bakeries and compare the taste and texture…read more I am not as concerned with decoration or presentation, although an attractive cake is nice to have. It is very unfortunate that the old ethnic bakeries have gone away and replaced primarily by grocery stores. It appears that the children of the old ethnic bakeries saw how hard their parents worked and decided to become doctors and lawyers and such. The delicious cakes of our long ago memories are gone. I visit a lot of new bakeries trying to relive my past memories. It appears that most of these new bakeries utilize standard cake mixes available from a variety of sources. They may add an ingredient of two to try to make it taste more homemade, but they all fail my taste and texture tests. Most are light and fluffy cake with average icing. They do look good however, but that is not what I look for. I look for taste and texture. I was very pleasantly surprised with our recent visit to Sweet Solutions on Main Street in Canandaigua. I ordered two large cakes for a corporate event. One was Vanilla/Vanilla and the other was Triple Chocolate. WOW ! Both cakes were exceptional in both taste and texture. They looked great too. Both cakes were devoured by the 45 people in attendance. Sweet Solutions mentioned that each cake would serve about 40 people. They must serve small slices. Our guests had two and three helpings apiece. Everyone raved on how great the cakes were. I personally had three pieces (large by the way) and would have had more the next day if any were available. The visit to Sweet Solutions took me back to the 60's and 70's when Shreck's and Vecchi's bakeries in Canandaigua when I was a child. Both were exceptional bakeries that were local institutions. There are a few bakeries in Rochester, NY who make some nice cakes but they are not as good as Sweet Solutions in Canandaigua, NY. My wife is ordering another today ! I am overjoyed to finally find a bakery that can meet my high standards. I can honestly say that Sweet Solutions is the best in the greater Rochester area. Thanks for reading. I am a total tea noob in general, and had definitely never heard of boba, so the whole experience was foreign to me. Well, it was amazing! This place is amazing. I've been back 4 times since, and I love it more every single time. I bring others with me to try it, too. I am officially obsessed! The first time I was here and every single time since, the associates have been fabulous - they have patiently and knowledgeably walked me through different types of tea, different flavor combinations, what their favorites are, what customers enjoy, etc. The combination possibilities are vast! They have a stash of cookies, muffins, brownies, and other goodies from locally owned bakeries. I was told that all the furniture is also locally made, and can be purchased. I love the ambience here, and REALLY love that they promote and partner with other local places too! My daughter loves that they have a little area for kids to hang out, with chalk and a chalkboard to draw on. Can not recommend highly enough! (FYI my current favorite is strawberry lemon with green tea and strawberry beads!)

Went with husband, on a trip to Lake Canandaigua…read more We both ordered the Yardman breakfast with home fries, onions, and peppers. It also includes 2 strips of bacon, a piece of ham, and a sausage patty. Sounds delicious, but the home fries are not from home, they are likely frozen, and they were way overdone. I couldn't even get my fork into many, and they were so bland. I doused them in ketchup and the "awesome sauce" on the table. No help. The pepper and onions were largely absent.. They were so finely diced, and also overcooked, it was easy to miss. Sausage, bacon, and ham were VERY crispy and a little burnt, but they were still tasty. The eggs were spot on. It came with meat sauce or sausage gravy. Both were very rich. I passed on my meat sauce (too much allspice and/or nutmeg for me). Husband ate his gravy. He said it was sausage forward, with little gravy, but definitely scratch made and good. Full points for that. Coffee was ok, nothing great, a little weak. Now, I will give them credit as we came in at the end of breakfast. So maybe that was it. We got what they had left. The staff was great!
