I haven't been here in quite sometime. But I'm absolutely glad, that this bakery is still as great as the first time I came.

Beautiful treats. Nice friendly folks. I may have overdone it. Cupcakes were moist. I haven't tried the Nutella croissant, yet but I can already tell I'm gonna love it!

Paul is owner bakery and over all nice guy it was snowing so hard. It was hard for me to get a parking place and hop out in the ice and snow. He volunteered to come out and bring me my goodies even though he was the only person in the bakery I so appreciated this offer! Wonderful food, excellent cinnamon rolls, and great cookies. Will definitely come back for more when I'm in this area again!

The quality is in the box!

This was such an adorable bakery! Snuggled in the heart of Canandaigua Lake and Village. This amongst other local businesses is an absolute treasure. We were greeted with a smile and knowledgeable young man. He provided a candle for a birthday celebration we were observing and the neatest box of matches! The cheese danish was delicious and moist. The birthday cupcake was moist and perfect! Thank you for helping us make more memories!

Really great bakery on main street in Canandaigua. The cookies and cupcakes were especially so yummy and pretty. The cannolis were also great but they had a really strong almond extract flavor in the cream that might not be for everyone. Highly recommend!

My husband visited here and purchased my birthday cake. Raspberry almond. Absolutely delicious.

Awesome little bakery with so many good options. Their peanut butter cookies are to die for! You can smell what they're baking as you approach the entrance and they could 100% charge so much more for the quality of baked goods they create! A must try!

Gem on Main Street! Smells delicious as soon as You walk in. Sweet treats are plentiful. I struggled to pick what to try because it all looks incredible. They are in process decorating for fall- looks good so far:) The owner is engaging and helpful. Apple Carmel Cronut--delish!

Great pastries, family owned and overall good vibe!! The owner is also the head baker, who goes out of his way to get to know his patrons!

Back in the day this spot was a music store, not like Area Records where CDs, tapes, vinyl were…read moresold, but instruments. Not even sure when they closed to be honest. Kind of sad to see it gone after seeing it my entire life. There is a bakery there now. It's basically strictly...order and pick it up type of place. They sell cookies and other pastries at the front. It's a "help yourself" and you scan a QR code to pay. So! Ok, I do love the new technology where you can eat out and scan a QR code and pay that way. Or using a QR code for so many other things. I don't however like this set up. I think it's really weird. Cash is also an option here. I wanted to originally pay cash. I got 2 cookies and a brownie. Says "ring bell if you need change" I press the little button 3x and I can see people in the back. Not one person came out after I hit the button. That's booooo! It's like, why have it if you're going to ignore it?! Just close the doors to the public and have it strictly as an online business. I love love trying bakeries like this vs buying anything store bought. When I'm home, I look for places like this, Amish farms, Mennonite farms..any place that sells fresh baked cookies. In Idaho we don't have many great bakeries and if they are around...they are miles away and driving in Boise traffic these days is SO NOT worth the hassle for a cookie lol Also, if really don't eat many cookies and stuff but shoooot when I'm here in NY visiting and I'm close to Amish and Mennonite farms where they make INCREDIBLE baked goods...I definitely indulge lol. The cookies here and brownies were... ya know, good, but would I write home to mama about them? Nah. Hell, I'm staying at my moms and I didn't even tell her about them after I ate them. The cookies were pipe $2 a piece, I think, small brownie was $3. Honestly, cookies should be .75 and brownies... $1.00 There was really no variation in tastes between the two. They use something in their baked goods that made each one taste exactly the same...except you obviously could taste the chocolate on top of whatever they use, in the brownie. Would I recommend? I mean, maybe? If someone asked, I'd be like "there's a bakery in downtown Geneva, buuuut..." and then shrug my shoulders and give that crooked mouth look like... meh Now, maybe their cakes and whatever else they make are bomb af. I'll never know bc 1) I won't be going back lol and 2) I don't see myself ever buying a cake. Again, I see bakeries like this, it's a small business, I love supporting small businesses especially in a town where I grew up, went to high school in, etc...I see them and have to try. I tried it and now... I'm good: I can't say anything about the staff, because they ignored me lol, the place is small, it's clean. It's a bakery haha! Thanks for reading. Cheers, YelperSweets!

My mom said "walk around downtown and take some pics" I did that. as I was doing that I came across this little bakery. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE local bakeries vs buying the processed crap at the stores or buying things at Wegmans, Albertsons, etc bakeries where they no longer bake at the actual stores anymore. Thats just sad. Anyway, I walked in here. The lady was nice. She seemed a little sketched out though for some reason, but super kick back at the same time if that makes sense? lol Anyway, told her I was just checking things out and I would let her know if I needed anything. She came back out from the front and asked again if I needed anything. So, I got a blueberry muffin. I LOVE blueberry muffins, but I never buy them anymore bc I no longer eat most things like that. It's a sad, lonely choice I made....to cut out all the tasty treats in the world lol NOT THIS DAY THO!! haha! I could not resist. The looked incredible and for $2 a piece being as big as they were...I had to. UNBELIEVABLY delicious. I was so happy I got it. Was so tempted to get a few other things, but Ive been so good with my diet...I had to refrain from doing so and just accept my boring, no sugar treats, kind of life lol I absolutely recommend this place. Prices are decent, the lady is nice, but she should realize that not all of us are bad :) The place itself is super cute, very homey, lots to look at and HEY! its a local bakery! You should always support places like this...over Wegmans and certainly over....ugh Walmart! Thanks for reading, Yelpers! Cheers!

I am a cake connoisseur. I test cakes from many bakeries and compare the taste and texture…read more I am not as concerned with decoration or presentation, although an attractive cake is nice to have. It is very unfortunate that the old ethnic bakeries have gone away and replaced primarily by grocery stores. It appears that the children of the old ethnic bakeries saw how hard their parents worked and decided to become doctors and lawyers and such. The delicious cakes of our long ago memories are gone. I visit a lot of new bakeries trying to relive my past memories. It appears that most of these new bakeries utilize standard cake mixes available from a variety of sources. They may add an ingredient of two to try to make it taste more homemade, but they all fail my taste and texture tests. Most are light and fluffy cake with average icing. They do look good however, but that is not what I look for. I look for taste and texture. I was very pleasantly surprised with our recent visit to Sweet Solutions on Main Street in Canandaigua. I ordered two large cakes for a corporate event. One was Vanilla/Vanilla and the other was Triple Chocolate. WOW ! Both cakes were exceptional in both taste and texture. They looked great too. Both cakes were devoured by the 45 people in attendance. Sweet Solutions mentioned that each cake would serve about 40 people. They must serve small slices. Our guests had two and three helpings apiece. Everyone raved on how great the cakes were. I personally had three pieces (large by the way) and would have had more the next day if any were available. The visit to Sweet Solutions took me back to the 60's and 70's when Shreck's and Vecchi's bakeries in Canandaigua when I was a child. Both were exceptional bakeries that were local institutions. There are a few bakeries in Rochester, NY who make some nice cakes but they are not as good as Sweet Solutions in Canandaigua, NY. My wife is ordering another today ! I am overjoyed to finally find a bakery that can meet my high standards. I can honestly say that Sweet Solutions is the best in the greater Rochester area. Thanks for reading.
