The barista we had was honest and didn't hesitate at all in critiquing every flavor choice on the menu which my boyfriend and I appreciated! We knew we were in great hands when he recommended and made us what he loves most on the menu. I got a coconut/white chocolate mocha and my boyfriend got a classic mocha - both iced with whole milk. We both love almond milk, but the barista we had that morning said we simply could not ruin his drinks with almond milk... so whole milk it was! While visiting family in Canandaigua I stopped by for a coffee and a young man named Sam was working. I thought I'd give them a second chance another day when I stopped by and ordered an Iced Tea. I figured they couldn't mess that one up! Again, the same guy, Sam was working. I received my iced tea that was luke warm at best; not very refreshing on a hot day. As I took a few sips I noticed that it tasted "off" and when I opened the cup I found MOLD floating inside. I was Horrified and Disgusted!! The guy making my drink had to have noticed that there was mold in it when he was putting the lid on and still decided to serve it to me?! I threw that drink away also. Twice I wasted my money here! Upon returning home I saw my naturopath and he CONFIRMED that I had been exposed to MOLD; which we are still trying to remedy. You've been warned! Do not go here!!! They are amateurs! Save your money and go down the road to 7Brew or Starbucks, where at least their baristas are trained to know how not to burn espresso shots or sell Moldy Iced Tea! 2 star rating= 1 star per visit

She seemed a little sketched out though for some reason, but super kick back at the same time if that makes sense? lol Anyway, told her I was just checking things out and I would let her know if I needed anything. She came back out from the front and asked again if I needed anything. So, I got a blueberry muffin. I LOVE blueberry muffins, but I never buy them anymore bc I no longer eat most things like that. It's a sad, lonely choice I made....to cut out all the tasty treats in the world lol NOT THIS DAY THO!! haha! I could not resist. The looked incredible and for $2 a piece being as big as they were...I had to. UNBELIEVABLY delicious. I was so happy I got it. I test cakes from many bakeries and compare the taste and texture…read more I am not as concerned with decoration or presentation, although an attractive cake is nice to have. It is very unfortunate that the old ethnic bakeries have gone away and replaced primarily by grocery stores. It appears that the children of the old ethnic bakeries saw how hard their parents worked and decided to become doctors and lawyers and such. The delicious cakes of our long ago memories are gone. I visit a lot of new bakeries trying to relive my past memories. It appears that most of these new bakeries utilize standard cake mixes available from a variety of sources. They may add an ingredient of two to try to make it taste more homemade, but they all fail my taste and texture tests. Most are light and fluffy cake with average icing. They do look good however, but that is not what I look for. I look for taste and texture. I was very pleasantly surprised with our recent visit to Sweet Solutions on Main Street in Canandaigua. I ordered two large cakes for a corporate event. One was Vanilla/Vanilla and the other was Triple Chocolate. WOW ! Both cakes were exceptional in both taste and texture. They looked great too. Both cakes were devoured by the 45 people in attendance. Sweet Solutions mentioned that each cake would serve about 40 people. They must serve small slices. Our guests had two and three helpings apiece. Everyone raved on how great the cakes were. I personally had three pieces (large by the way) and would have had more the next day if any were available. The visit to Sweet Solutions took me back to the 60's and 70's when Shreck's and Vecchi's bakeries in Canandaigua when I was a child. Both were exceptional bakeries that were local institutions. There are a few bakeries in Rochester, NY who make some nice cakes but they are not as good as Sweet Solutions in Canandaigua, NY. My wife is ordering another today ! I am overjoyed to finally find a bakery that can meet my high standards. I can honestly say that Sweet Solutions is the best in the greater Rochester area. Thanks for reading. I am a total tea noob in general, and had definitely never heard of boba, so the whole experience was foreign to me. Well, it was amazing! This place is amazing. I've been back 4 times since, and I love it more every single time. I bring others with me to try it, too. I am officially obsessed! The first time I was here and every single time since, the associates have been fabulous - they have patiently and knowledgeably walked me through different types of tea, different flavor combinations, what their favorites are, what customers enjoy, etc. The combination possibilities are vast! They have a stash of cookies, muffins, brownies, and other goodies from locally owned bakeries. I was told that all the furniture is also locally made, and can be purchased. I love the ambience here, and REALLY love that they promote and partner with other local places too! My daughter loves that they have a little area for kids to hang out, with chalk and a chalkboard to draw on. Can not recommend highly enough! But when I'm craving a BLT, the one at Tim Hortons absolutely does the trick. The ingredients are always fresh, it's made to order, and the bread they use is an artisan style roll that's definitely bakery quality. I always order my BLT on a well done roll with extra bacon and mayonnaise, and they've never once given me an issue with customizing it that way. Everyone I've encountered at this particular Tim Hortons has always been extremely friendly and welcoming. With that said, when I'm craving a BLT, I can always get one by just taking a quick trip through the drive thru.
