The shop itself was warm and welcoming and the store owner was our server! When we asked for recommendations he jokingly said: "I made them all! Their all my babies!" With that said, I just chose what I felt attracted to: the coffee gelato. It tasted like a sweet cup of coffee! I think I would have enjoyed it more if the texture was less icy! My friend got the salted caram flavor and the texture was great, but, the flavor was a little too sweet for me! I think any with a sweet tooth and a soft spot for caramel would go crazy for it! read more

Simple gelato and espresso bar. Unfortunately during my visit everything was disappointing. Their cooler was broken so the attendant had to "go to the back" for each scoop. ( long delay) I ordered a lemoncello which when presented was a sherbert and not gelato. I ordered a latte with whole milk. The attendant had only 1% (awful) and pointed that out while he was mid steam. It might be ok on another occasion but I left feeling less than Meh. read more

A nice respite and reward for our college halfway drive home stopping point. Very friendly proprietor who was very helpful in sharing the flavors. Almond espresso, chocolate extreme, banana foster.... all excellent. A cute town with a beautiful lake. We'll have to return to check out this picturesque region and some more gelato! read more

Tasty gelato in many fun flavors. Good parking out back, friendly service. I had the almond espresso gelato. Other half had salted caramel. Mine was great, but as usual I wished I'd gotten his. Good prices. read more

The best gelato in Geneva! Great service, a personable proprietor. The restaurant is a quaint place near downtown Geneva. I would suggest going there for a sweet treat on a date, after a movie, or if you're craving their yummy gelato. Enjoy! read more

We rarely walk around downtown without stopping in for our dose of gelato and macaroons. When my kid got her first babysitting gig, she treated us to Geneva Gelato. Lol read more

Ehhhh - the gelato was super artificial tasting & very gummy in texture and consistency. I overheard the staff say to a customer asking about the weird consistency "oh the chef says that normal. It's sort of marshmallow in consistency." I don't know about you...but gelato is NOT marshmallow in consistency and should not be gummy. The inside was pleasant and clean but for the $$$$$ and the iffy gelato, I'd pass. read more

Wow! Well worth the drive over to Geneva ... delicious gelato... we sampled pink grapefruit and the beat coffee I've had in awhile! Yum!! Right in town with lots of other fun food and drink and retail offerings - be sure to check them out read more

A bit pricey in my opinion... I got a 5oz gelato and my friend got a very small milkshake and the total came to just under $13! The gelato flavors I picked were black raspberry and kiwi; the flavor was good, the texture/quality not so much. The kiwi had some gummy-like pieces in it as if it has been sitting in the cooler a while and is getting old... and there was something a little hard in the black raspberry, but it didn't look like the seeds. As for the shake, my friend said it had a lot of ice pieces in it... a milkshake shouldn't have any ice in it, so I would classify it as more of a smoothie having been made with ice. On their menu it looked like they had a lot of specialty coffees, and loose leaf teas as well as bubble teas. If I were in the area again, I might stop in for a drink, but would not get gelato. read more

We only tried the gelato there. I'd say the flavor of the gelato was great but the texture was odd. It was as very stringy, reminded me of gum. Maybe it was just the flavor we tried. We'll see next time. read more

Great gelato: mix of peanut butter and salted caramel, and a mix of peach reusing and limoncello . Totally awesome! The owner was fantastic and we got to chat for a while. A really great place in a lovely downtown! read more

Came in close to closing time, very nice, funny and accommodating. Allowed us to take our time, definitely would recommend!

Pros: service was ok! Cons: painfully mediocre flavor for the price. My mint chip had an icy texture giving the impression like it had been in the freezer for too long. Stingy serving size (server did not fill dish up nearly as much as pics on this app would suggest. My medium was filled to slightly below the edge of the dish. Overall I DO NOT recommend you spend your money here as there are plenary of other iced cream options in the area that will give you better quality AND quantity at a fraction of the cost. read more

Good, but a far cry from what I was expecting. Raspberry was very good and tasty. Most of the offering were sorbetto.

lord have mercy on my soul this was not good. icy and melty at the same time which is such a confusing texture. and what is it with flavors like jolly rancher and root beer? who's ordering them? and the bright neons of all the flavors. should've seen the warning signs. read more

Horrible ice cream, it tasted really really really bad! We told the person that served us before paying and he still charged us. We threw the ice cream out right after paying. read more

I had a hazelnut gelato and mango boba tea here. Both were very refreshing and tasteful for this area! The owner was very nice and let me in as he was also closing up, but I never felt rush to make my choices. The inside is super clean and super cute, I would def come back here again. read more

Geneva Gelato - Indoors - Gelato Near Me - Geneva, New York

My only complaint is that they don't open until noon. No, I don't want a breakfast gelato burrito (but honestly that's a fantastic idea), rather Geneva Gelato has the best espresso in Geneva. Okay, okay, not a high bar, I admit, but here's the thing - it's actually good! Is it the La Marzocco machine? The beans from Spot? A talented eye for the pull? I have no idea. While it wasn't a shot of espresso I'll remember in my twilight years, it definitely met my expectations for what a legitimately good espresso should taste like. I left as happy as I was surprised. And yes, the gelato is +++. You can never go wrong with pistachio but if there's something that sounds weird you should try it. Has limited outdoor seating in warm weather. read more

We stopped in to have some Gelato for dessert. It took us a few attempts to find the little store front (it has a tiny yellow sign so if you are from out of town (as we are) it took some doing to see it. I'm so glad we did. It is a very cute little place and yet Scott (the owner) had many gelato flavors as well as sorbets to choose from. He makes them all himself each day. The price was reasonable given the quality of the product. I had cookies and cream gelato and my husband had the peanut butter gelato. Yummie. Remember.... gelato is less fattening than ice cream, so go, enjoy and indulge your tastes buds "guilt-free"..... well, sort of! read more

Glad I drove all the way from Marcellus NY to this place because their pdf flyer on their website claims over 50 flavors listed. There were actually about 15. So because they had a cappuccino machine I opted for that instead. Boy what a mistake! The gentleman tried to tell me that a cappuccino has little foam and what I wanted was a latte which had more foam. It's the other wAy around, capos have more foam, less milk and lattes have more milk. It literally took him 20 minutes to make one and still had very little foam. Sorry, I won't be back read more

We took the kids for gelato after lunch. The man behind the counter was extremely rude and short to everyone. Our 4 year old asked to if she could mix flavors and was simply told no and who's next. I would suggest being more friendly to your patrons. Gelato itself was so so. Byrnes dairy had better ice cream and it's a Gad station. read more

Vegan ice cream (gelato?) and sorbet are always amazing at Geneva Gelato. Peanut Butter with chocolate cookie and the Extreme Chocolate (I think that is what it was called) were exceptional! Prices are higher than the average ice cream stand. But, you get what you pay for. This is homemade stuff, and it is so good. Great job Jeff! Thank you. read more

While everyone is talking about the wonderful gelato and sorbetto, something needs to be said about the fantastic Spot Coffee and Art of Tea products as well, in addition to the excellent business hours. Wednesday through Sunday, this is one of the only, and certainly the best, places to go in the evening for coffee, tea, pastries, and of course, their namesake product. See you there! read more

The gelato is tasty. Classic flavors as well as some unexpected ones: chocolate hazelnut, green apple, rosemary and olive oil, pancakes and maple syrup to name a few, and you can sample different types.
