It's a cute place to stop if you're in town. We grabbed a breakfast sandwich to try and it was really good! The bacon had so much flavor and the ciabatta bread was so unique. We also tried a doughnut and it was very fresh but very sweet. We also took coffees to go while shopping around the rest of town. It's very busy so plan to wait but it's worth it

Love it ! I ordered the egg and olive sandwich, with gluten free bread option. It was delicious and perfect size for my tummy. Highly recommended when you are visiting Skaneateles. I'm sorry I was so hungry that I took a bite before I took the photo.

TLDR; decent food, bad service, unclean practices, beware of 3% up charge if paying with card. Stopped by for some sandwiches on a Saturday afternoon, and the line was out the door. The roast chicken breast ($11.50), BLT ($10), and smoked turkey ($12) were all pretty good, standard sandwiches. Didn't try any desserts or drinks, though the coffee options seemed popular. Service was subpar and very unpleasant, as some other reviews here mention - the young girls working the register and the man making the sandwiches all seemed like they didn't want to be there, and were not very kind. They also don't use gloves when making sandwiches. Also beware that they upcharge 3% if paying with card - mentioned on a small slip of paper near the register. They seemed to already have factored this in, despite the fact that we paid with cash. Overall, unfortunately would not return, nor recommend.

The Skaneateles Bakery popped up on every 'what to do in Skaneateles' article so we had to make a trip in. It was a rainy Saturday morning about 11:30 and it was busy in there! Cinnamon rolls were sold out and there was only one pop tart left so of course we had to try it. The coffee smelled delicious and the girl at the register was so kind! Additionally, we tried the raspberry pineapple scone and a pumpkin whoopie pie. Everything was good but not over the top amazing. The whoopie pie was yummy but the icing was the best part the outside was a little dense. The pop tart was okay but there was not much filling on the inside so if you don't love pie crust this is not the pastry for you. And the scone was yummy and would've paired perfectly with a coffee. I'd go back to try again earlier in the morning.

Pastries and coffee were fantastic! It was very busy but service was quick and staff was friendly. The icing on the cupcake was not too rich and the Peanut butter oat brownie was amazing. I could have eaten 5 of them. Will definitely return!

Fast service, delicious hot fresh-made cake donuts, delectable pastries, and great coffee! Great location right in the heart of the downtown area. 5/5 stars!

This was the veggie breakfast sandwich, but I added turkey sausage.

While staying at the Mirbeau Inn & Spa we decided to venture to downtown Skaneatles. We found the cutest bakery and sandwich cafe where we had a light breakfast. I had the veggie breakfast sandwich with turkey sausage ( I added) with a pumpkin spice latte. My friend had the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and a cup of Peppermint tea. I have to say for a Wednesday mid- morning it was quite busy but the staff kept the line moving! The baked goods looked delish!Definitely worth the stop!!

It's very cute and inside. The perfect ambiance for a small cafe/bakery. I bought a cinnamon roll and a vanilla-coconut doughnut. Both were scrumptious. I actually was pleasantly surprised by the doughnut because it's a cake doughnut and it wasn't dry but perfectly made! The staff were helpful and friendly. I gave 4 stars only because it took about 10 min for them to make my coffee while it was pretty dead inside the bakery. I wasn't in a rush, but considering I was the only person in line, I would just expect a simple coffee not take that long to make. Otherwise, I will def be returning for more goodies. Everything looked and smelled amazing!

Online ordering is smooth, but can get backed up in the morning rush. Bakery items are fresh and delicious. Seating is very limited and can feel cramped at times.

My go to for lunch currently for work! They are always busy which is amazing but I mobile order on toast and their ready times are always 100% accurate. I finally remembered it take pictures of my go to - the buffalo chicken melt and my summer fav back their lavender haze latte! It is a small bakery with delicious breakfast and lunch items, along with their baked goods. Some seating is available if you wanted to dine in, but I enjoy walking over to the lake and sitting out in the sun. The lavender haze latte is by far my favorite and it's my favorite lavender latter from anywhere (Starbucks can't compare). They make it with lavender, honey, and vanilla and it is perfect! The buffalo chicken melt is perfect for anyone it's on the mild side. The fresh mozzarella, smashed avocado, and their bread is the perfect combination! I only eat half in one sitting, it is very filling. Side note, their plain and everything bagels are pretty good too! They add tons of cream cheese if you choose to add it. A great quick breakfast bite.

I have been meaning to check out this bakery for a while. I wanted to come for pastries and coffee, but I ended up coming here late afternoon just because of my schedule. I was pleased to try and love the buffalo chicken melt. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They were also helpful in getting my order to me quickly. I enjoyed my experience here and I will definitely be back again. This café is located right near the lake which makes it great for walking around after stopping at the bakery. It is small here, but there are definitely tables and chairs to enjoy breakfast and lunch or a treat.

Nassau is one of the many little towns in our region that was completely devastated midway through…read morethe last century after the trolley system shut down and city people suddenly had no reason (or no way, if they didn't own a car) to stop by. It's pretty cool, then, to see new little spots like Daisy's popping up right after the new bike and pedestrian trail built over the old trolley line opened. Coincidence? Maybe! But if you're passing through rural Rensselaer county on your bike and feeling a little peckish, then Daisy's is an excellent new breakfast and lunch option just a short distance off the trail. Daisy's is brand new, so there are still kinks to work out -- our lovely waitress was struggling with her fancy electronic ordering machine, and there was a lot of confused running around in the kitchen. The food, though, was absolutely solid. My mom was a bit skeptical about the price of her BLT before she ordered, but took it back once she received her gigantic sandwich made with perfectly fresh ingredients and served with a mound of some of the tastiest Mac salad that either of us had ever had (plus a bag of chips!). My cup of the soup of the day was hot and flavorful (if slightly over over salted). The weakest link in the whole meal was the oddly soft hard roll for my breakfast sandwich: I'd ask for it toasted next time. Daisy's also serves local Tierra Farms coffee, which is a nice touch, and there were some really nice-looking treats in the pastry case. Overall this is a super cute little place that does a pretty good job of hitting the sweet spot between an old-fashioned small-town diner and a more modern cafe (with plans to add more vegetarian/vegan options to the menu). I'll absolutely come back, and I hope that places like this continue to open up and thrive in small communities around the region.
