The Skaneateles Bakery popped up on every 'what to do in Skaneateles' article so we had to make a trip in. It was a rainy Saturday morning about 11:30 and it was busy in there! Cinnamon rolls were sold out and there was only one pop tart left so of course we had to try it. The coffee smelled delicious and the girl at the register was so kind! Additionally, we tried the raspberry pineapple scone and a pumpkin whoopie pie. Everything was good but not over the top amazing. The whoopie pie was yummy but the icing was the best part the outside was a little dense. The pop tart was okay but there was not much filling on the inside so if you don't love pie crust this is not the pastry for you. And the scone was yummy and would've paired perfectly with a coffee. I'd go back to try again earlier in the morning.

Pastries and coffee were fantastic! It was very busy but service was quick and staff was friendly. The icing on the cupcake was not too rich and the Peanut butter oat brownie was amazing. I could have eaten 5 of them. Will definitely return!

Fast service, delicious hot fresh-made cake donuts, delectable pastries, and great coffee! Great location right in the heart of the downtown area. 5/5 stars!

This was the veggie breakfast sandwich, but I added turkey sausage.

While staying at the Mirbeau Inn & Spa we decided to venture to downtown Skaneatles. We found the cutest bakery and sandwich cafe where we had a light breakfast. I had the veggie breakfast sandwich with turkey sausage ( I added) with a pumpkin spice latte. My friend had the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and a cup of Peppermint tea. I have to say for a Wednesday mid- morning it was quite busy but the staff kept the line moving! The baked goods looked delish!Definitely worth the stop!!

It's very cute and inside. The perfect ambiance for a small cafe/bakery. I bought a cinnamon roll and a vanilla-coconut doughnut. Both were scrumptious. I actually was pleasantly surprised by the doughnut because it's a cake doughnut and it wasn't dry but perfectly made! The staff were helpful and friendly. I gave 4 stars only because it took about 10 min for them to make my coffee while it was pretty dead inside the bakery. I wasn't in a rush, but considering I was the only person in line, I would just expect a simple coffee not take that long to make. Otherwise, I will def be returning for more goodies. Everything looked and smelled amazing!

Online ordering is smooth, but can get backed up in the morning rush. Bakery items are fresh and delicious. Seating is very limited and can feel cramped at times.

My go to for lunch currently for work! They are always busy which is amazing but I mobile order on toast and their ready times are always 100% accurate. I finally remembered it take pictures of my go to - the buffalo chicken melt and my summer fav back their lavender haze latte! It is a small bakery with delicious breakfast and lunch items, along with their baked goods. Some seating is available if you wanted to dine in, but I enjoy walking over to the lake and sitting out in the sun. The lavender haze latte is by far my favorite and it's my favorite lavender latter from anywhere (Starbucks can't compare). They make it with lavender, honey, and vanilla and it is perfect! The buffalo chicken melt is perfect for anyone it's on the mild side. The fresh mozzarella, smashed avocado, and their bread is the perfect combination! I only eat half in one sitting, it is very filling. Side note, their plain and everything bagels are pretty good too! They add tons of cream cheese if you choose to add it. A great quick breakfast bite.

I have been meaning to check out this bakery for a while. I wanted to come for pastries and coffee, but I ended up coming here late afternoon just because of my schedule. I was pleased to try and love the buffalo chicken melt. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They were also helpful in getting my order to me quickly. I enjoyed my experience here and I will definitely be back again. This café is located right near the lake which makes it great for walking around after stopping at the bakery. It is small here, but there are definitely tables and chairs to enjoy breakfast and lunch or a treat.

Friendly staff and a nice variety of food and drinks make this a must try! The good. While the staff seemed to be pretty busy with online orders, I was greeted immediately with a warm smile. I ordered a capachinno and a bacon, egg and cheese chibatta, which was wonderful. I also grabbed a few donuts for the girls which they loved! The bad. Really nothing. The wait time was about 10 minutes, but I was behind at least 4 online orders, so they got it done pretty quickly! The ugly. This is definitely a nice little spot to try if you're in the area and in the mood for an affordable coffee and treat. I say check them out!

We were visiting the area and several local merchants recommended that we stop here for lunch. I have a lot of food sensitivities so I ordered a chicken sandwich with no condiments or cheese. The bread was wonderfully toasted and crust was chewy - who would have known that crust could be this good!! They did have a great selection of baked goods and hubby got a few to snack on throughout the day - he loved the vanilla cupcake!

10/10 recommend stopping here for a quick lunch or breakfast sandwich. The wait is a little long typically so I recommend ordering pickup. It's a cute little spot to have a quick bite to eat with friends when it's not too busy, it's in the heart of town which is nice. The smoked turkey sandwich is the best and a simple grilled cheese and tomato soup is great when it's chilly. Most importantly they have the BEST gluten free bread... not thin and doesn't fall apart (my favorite part of the bakery).

Up until a few years ago you really couldn't find macarons in any local bakeries, so I would only indulge on my trips into larger cities. Now, you can more readily find them but quality differs. I've been wanting to try Moonflower for many months now and had a chance the other day. Their marketing game is on point, beautifully packaged and presented product. The shop is set back from the road so you can easily miss it, maybe some additional signage would help. The shop is consistent with their refined aesthetic but is tiny, maybe only two customers can be in the shop simultaneously. The younger staff who helped me was very nice and knowledgeable about the product. The macarons are sublime, gorgeous and authentic (crisp on outside, proper feet, slight interior chew). The flavor variety is delightful. I love that some of the flavors are unique and unexpected such as frosted animal cookie. My favorite was the pistachio raspberry, there was an actual raspberry in the center. They change up their flavors every month. Truly a one of a kind bakery in the area. Clearly a lot of care goes into the product. I will return again and again. Merci!
