There were a lot of beverage options and food options. I personally loved the arancini appetizer. It has a pretty patio (we sat outside and enjoyed the space), which has views of the winery, and the service was very friendly and helpful. The outside dining space and the service were definitely the highlights of our meal. I wouldn't say the menu is very thrilling - I might describe it as standard cafe fare; for some reason, it reminded me of menus you'd find at cafes at museums or other similar attractions. We shared a starter - their bruschetta crostini (tomatoes marinated in a balsamic, olive oil, basil, and garlic mixture, and topped with balsamic glaze. It was okay. The crostini were cut very unevenly, and the taste was too strong for me on the balsamic glaze. I had the Vineyard Chicken Salad wrap with chicken breast, apples, craisins, celery, onion, lettuce, and provolone. It was also just okay - sort of average chicken salad in a wrap, something I could definitely make at home. My husband had their grille cheese panini (with seasoned tomatoes, gruyere, smoked gouda, and sourdough), and he definitely liked this more than I enjoyed the food I tried. I may not know what their coffee is like, but like most coffeehouses, this one also has hot chocolate! So! Being the 5 year old that I am, haha, I always get their hot chocolate...pic is attached :) Their hot chocolate is amazing. I don't care how old I get, I'll always have hot chocolate over coffee and especially in January! That said, last time I went in here was last January. Well, I stopped in back in July and was gonna meet a friend there. She is from Lyons. Doesn't know Geneva very well and had trouble finding it. So we went elsewhere. That friend...this was the first time meeting her. (This is where the sentimental value comes in) Her sister, Jeanette was my close friend and was my art teacher when I was in elementary and junior high. I met up with her last January. January 7th to be exact. I came back to Idaho and two days later she suffered a massive heart attack and passed away. I'm just so glad we had our last outing together and we went to Monaco's bc she absolutely loved Monaco's. It was always her first choice and if you have been, I'm sure you understand why. Jeanette and I would meet up a few times while I was home. Monaco's was our last get together almost every time I was home. I'd always see her the day I was flying back here to Idaho. So even tho going in there now...will be bittersweet. Sorry for the sob story. Just this place is special even if you're not a coffee drinker haha. She always made fun of me for my hot chocolate haha. We always sat in the center on the couches. This place is very comfortable. Plenty of seating. Huge windows in the front that are extra special to look Out during Winter and Fall. There's a HUGE tree across the street that is mine and Jeanette's favorite during Fall bc the colors are INSANE! I'll add a pic. The staff is super friendly. All of them so helpful and waste no time helping you. It's a tad pricey, but most of these coffee shops are...even my hot chocolate is pricey haha! Will I go back? Yeah and it'll be with Jeanette's sister. She has yet to try their coffee and wants to because her sister enjoyed this place so much. But that's fine. My breakfast sandwich was delicious. It was fried egg, bacon, and a Chipotle mayo that was just the right amount of kick to add complexity and interest to each bite. My honey lavender latte, however, was not it. I always get oat milk and this one tasted as if it had dairy milk in it. Also, it had a VERY strange and strong taste of rosemary... which was not mentioned nor was it tasty. It was hard to drink. My partner's chai latte was "too milky", his words. I'd give it another go because of the atmosphere and food, but the drinks were very disappointing. Hopefully it was just a one-off.

In addition to the chicken, it included lettuce, mushrooms, and bacon and dressing that did not leak outside the wrap which is always my fear in ordering a wrap. There's a variety of so doesn't soft drinks inside of a chiller. Order at the counter and staff will happily bring your food pronto.
