Very friendly barista. Good iced mocha and breakfast sandwich. Quick service and decent amount of seating.
Generally speaking, I enjoy the vibes in this cute little coffee shop. Maybe it's my appreciation for the plants placed all around, maybe it's the fun of having a piano near the window... I don't know. I appreciate that it feels relaxed though. My friend and I each ordered honey lavender lattes (which aren't large at all), while my friend ordered a berry muffin and I got a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. Those four items together + tip (20%) came to $30.10... which was far too expensive for lattes that lacked in flavor, a rather small breakfast sandwich, and a muffin that was more "meh" in comparison to something my friend or I could have just picked up from Wegmans up the road. In terms of service, it was just... lacking? Nobody was rude or anything, but they weren't warm or inviting either. For what I'd typically consider to be a nice little neighborhood coffee shop, nobody working there seemed engaged or mindful of the "community" aspect of the service experience. TL;DR No neighborhood coffee shop thrives on chill ambience alone, and there's not enough here in terms of delicious eats, tasty treats, or flavorful drinks to make me want to make a return visit. :-/
Super cute coffee shop with delicious food and coffee! They make their own coffee syrups in house and you can tell. Their lavender honey latte is to die for! I also loved the banh mi breakfast sandwich. Homemade English muffin, fresh pickled vegetables, a fried egg and cilantro sauce made for the perfect, fresh sandwich to start your day. The staff is also super sweet and the ambiance is gorgeous - filled with plants and local art! If you're in the area, definitely stop by!
Food was incredible. I loved that they have real cups for in store orders and the service was fast and friendly
We hadn't been here in years, but we thought we would try after our walk by the lake. My daughter ordered a honey lavender iced latte. It was so strong that it tasted like perfume and was a tad bitter. My nitro coffee was ok. We ordered a breakfast burrito but it seemed to lack seasoning. There was a tiny bit of hot sauce but the potatoes seemed like they were microwaved and it just overall did not have a very good flavor. We do think the air conditioning up was really high and we were really cold. The staff was not very friendly. They were not rude, but they just weren't very welcoming.
I came here with my partner and we ordered two Iced lattes one caramel and one brown sugar cardamom. This total came to 14$ and the drinks aren't very large. They also don't taste very good. I thought mine was caramel and his lacked almost all flavor all together. We came home and added more to our drinks to improve the taste but agreed we wouldn't return. The service was mid at best they weren't rude but also weren't very warm either especially the barista. The ambiance was nice atleast. It's cute in there if that's all you're looking for in a coffee shop then check it out lol.
What a great little place for breakfast and coffee we loved it here! The food and drinks were tasty and unique and we enjoyed the vibe with lots of greenery and open bright interior. Prices and staff were great and everybody was very friendly! There is a small bit of parking out front and more on street as needed. The Bahn mi was amazing and the cubano was very good as well. Their pastries were so so so good and fresh in house made no doubt about that. Loved it recommended to anybody we'll be back!
This delightful neighborhood coffee shop is so special to me as we moved to Geneva in January. It's walking distance from my house. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The coffee is smooth with a great robust flavor. The cheese chive scone is incredible! Made by one of their talented bakers, Gabby Don't miss this place
Food was definitely good, but I would not call it 'stellar'. Cute ambience, great for studying and getting work done. Vibes are chill.
This is a rather nice little surprise that was about a minute from our Airbnb. The inside is pretty large with all sorts of plants, tables a few leather couches a chessboard and more. They offer different breakfast sandwiches and different coffee drinks you can get hot or iced. We went on a Monday granted it was a holiday but it was busy. My friend and I both got the breakfast sandwich and I added bacon to mine. It's made with XL English Muffins toasted (made by Amazing Grains it's in Fairport, NY) it has egg, goat cheese and sprouts it was really tasty and hit the spot. I got a seasonal coffee drink and my friend an iced coffee. They also have outdoor seating which was lovely on this early summer morning. Staff is friendly but slightly harried as they are busy. If your in the area give them a whirl. It's in a girly residential area they have minimal parking.
Good space with local art hanging on the wall from local college kids. Friendly baristas and rich lattes in mugs. Pastry was warm and brekkie sandwich was nice. Nice storefront in a neighborhood of historic homes.
I went to Monaco's because a lot of my coworkers recommended it. I had their latte and the coffee is definitely good quality. I also ordered the Cuban breakfast sandwich and it was really good. I was just disappointed that a lot of their food has no protein besides eggs.
Was in the area and craving a breakfast sandwich, this place came up, so I dropped in. Tons of snobby, hipster vibes going on in here, looks of staring. Changed my mind to their breakfast burrito once I took a look at the menu - almost everyone in here was eating breakfast sandwiches instead. It wasn't great, and it wasn't horrendous either. The scrambled eggs were cubed for some reason, which felt strange. The home fries weren't home fries at all, they were more like very mushy strings - maybe Geneva has a different idea of what home fries are supposed to be? They added minimal bacon and cheddar. The chipotle sauce was yummy, but also very sparse. Idk what hot sauce they had on the condiment counter, but it was great and saved this burrito. Not a mind blowing experience, I'd look elsewhere for a quick breakfast when I'm in the area again.

So this place has some sentimental value to me. I never drink coffee. Lemme just start with that haha. I actually hate. To me, it tastes like liquid dirt lol. Do I know how Monaco's coffee is? Obviously not. But my friends do and they absolutely LOVE it. They'd have to, the place has been around for a long time. The students at Hobart frequent this place as well. It's a classic "college coffeehouse" It's a cool spot. I may not know what their coffee is like, but like most coffeehouses, this one also has hot chocolate! So! Being the 5 year old that I am, haha, I always get their hot chocolate...pic is attached :) Their hot chocolate is amazing. I don't care how old I get, I'll always have hot chocolate over coffee and especially in January! That said, last time I went in here was last January. Well, I stopped in back in July and was gonna meet a friend there. She is from Lyons. Doesn't know Geneva very well and had trouble finding it. So we went elsewhere. That friend...this was the first time meeting her. (This is where the sentimental value comes in) Her sister, Jeanette was my close friend and was my art teacher when I was in elementary and junior high. I met up with her last January. January 7th to be exact. I came back to Idaho and two days later she suffered a massive heart attack and passed away. I'm just so glad we had our last outing together and we went to Monaco's bc she absolutely loved Monaco's. It was always her first choice and if you have been, I'm sure you understand why. Jeanette and I would meet up a few times while I was home. Monaco's was our last get together almost every time I was home. I'd always see her the day I was flying back here to Idaho. So even tho going in there now...will be bittersweet. Sorry for the sob story. Just this place is special even if you're not a coffee drinker haha. She always made fun of me for my hot chocolate haha. We always sat in the center on the couches. This place is very comfortable. Plenty of seating. Huge windows in the front that are extra special to look Out during Winter and Fall. There's a HUGE tree across the street that is mine and Jeanette's favorite during Fall bc the colors are INSANE! I'll add a pic. The staff is super friendly. All of them so helpful and waste no time helping you. It's a tad pricey, but most of these coffee shops are...even my hot chocolate is pricey haha! Will I go back? Yeah and it'll be with Jeanette's sister. She has yet to try their coffee and wants to because her sister enjoyed this place so much. I hope Monaco's continues to be around for many more years to come. It's a special place. Thanks for reading, YelperOnaco's!! Cheers! read more

This place was very cozy inside with lots of soft seating and greenery, an 8/10 on my cozy scale. Unfortunately the AC was broken and it was very hot, so we had to sit outside which had only two tiny tables. But that's fine. My breakfast sandwich was delicious. It was fried egg, bacon, and a Chipotle mayo that was just the right amount of kick to add complexity and interest to each bite. My honey lavender latte, however, was not it. I always get oat milk and this one tasted as if it had dairy milk in it. Also, it had a VERY strange and strong taste of rosemary... which was not mentioned nor was it tasty. It was hard to drink. My partner's chai latte was "too milky", his words. I'd give it another go because of the atmosphere and food, but the drinks were very disappointing. Hopefully it was just a one-off. read more

Can I live in here? The most delicious coffee ever. Also to note, I was turned on to adding honey and lavender as a sweetener for my matcha latte by the barista (bless her soul) + oat milk for creamy goodness. I look for this combination everywhere now. The breakfast sandwiches and burritos are well crafted with quality ingredients (the cheese especially). The granola bowl is probably, definitely the best I have ever had. Sounds like a mediocre breakfast, but I promise you the fruit was as sweet as ever with yummy yogurt (and who really loves yogurt...) -- so very filling! Cool vibes for the college kiddos. read more

This is a wonderful little coffee shop in Geneva. We don't have many options for coffee in the area other than Dunkin', so it's extremely nice to have a good quality cafe to get you caffeine fix. On top of that, every time we've been here, the ladies behind the counter have been very friendly and helpful toward me and my wife. I've even purchased beans from them to make my coffee at home and it's always come out excellent. Along with their great drinks, the food they make is quite good as well. I'm a huge fan of their goat cheese and honey toast and my wife absolutely loves their breakfast sandwich. I love the goat cheese toast's light, cream texture with that signature tang, which pairs perfectly with the sweetness and unique flavor profile of honey. The walnuts on top are an excellent addition for a soft crunch texture, as well. It's a nice, light way to start my day. With all that being said, the only things keeping this from being a 5-star review are the lack of regular coffee options and the fact they seem to run out of ingredients quite often. This place does a lot of espresso and tea based drinks, which are awesome, but I wish they offered more options than just drip coffee. If they offered a French press or a pour-over option, I'd be way more inclined to come here in the mornings. They seem to have access to quality beans, I just wish they offered more than just drip coffee to express the nuances in their flavor. I use their beans to do a French press in the morning at home and I love it, I'd like to see similar options when I go out. Then, when I order my food and drinks here, I always have to make sure to have a back up option for both because every time I've come here, they've been out of some component of what I initially want. Again, I haven't had a bad experience here, the food and drinks are fantastic, but there are some minor setbacks for this place that can be pretty easily fixed. Overall, it's my personal favorite coffee spot in Geneva and it's definitely worth checking out. read more

Kind of a student place but it's great an most of all they really make a great coffee. Unfortunately in the US a lot of places do not care enough about matching the grinding grad with the coffee machine - even when they have good quality coffee (beans). But they do it right here. Compliments. By the way the muffin from the next door bakery was very good too. read more

Fantastic tasting coffee (and food). This little gem of a spot is so worth the 11, or so, miles off the main highway. Really yummy read more
Great coffee with the cutest plants and vibes. Lots of fun local art and decor which makes it feel homey. They have a few food items but we came around noon so they ran out of a lot of ingredients, which was a bummer. My friend and I each got coffee and a toast. They are pretty busy with local students and residents that roll through. There are plenty of seating options and a small bathroom so it is study/work friendly. read more

I was visiting the area during the vacation with my family, and found this coffee shop for an afternoon wake-up espresso, and it was delicious! I saw many mixed review about this place, and majorly the con is the understaffing situation. We came at around 1PM on a Tuesday so we had no problem with the waiting time. I can tell though, because there was only one kid working and there were customers walking in pretty frequently. I feel bad for him but his coffee was smooth and delicious! He was also very friendly and nice. The interior was nice and playful. The atmosphere was good. The parking was convenient. I wish this place well and improve their service condition. Because the quality of the bean and the brewing is excellent! read more

Otherworldly. I have had hundreds of lavender lattes in my lifetime and this is easily top two. (They make their own syrup!) the inside aesthetic is perfect! I took so many pictures I couldn't help myself. If you are wondering if it is worth an hour drive if you are staying at a different lake the answer is YES! Okay read more

I had been wanting to check out this coffee shop for a minute now and finally got the time to do it today. So glad I did, the ambiance is very chill and relaxed with a boho/rustic/modern green feel to it. Lots of ample space to sit with your choice of seating. I absolutely adored my iced lavender honey latte. My mother came with me and had a maple latte and Omg like the best cup a joe I've had in a long time. Food is also available as is WiFi and a bathroom. Lots of books and mags to read and the staff was super friendly and helpful. If you like Starbucks you will love Monaco's more, they outdo them by far. Check em out and you'll see what I mean;) read more
