Bourbon PB Brownie

So...I am 100% NOT a dessert person! I only know about this place because it was the pick up location for a loaf of Sourdough from LostWoods bread club (which was amazing!). Plenty The bakery is a house that you'd drive by without ever thinking anything about it. Mostly cause it's only open Saturdays (and sometimes Sundays) and I only ever drove by it during the week. If it hadn't been for bread club, honestly, I don't know if I would have ever stopped. And it took weeks of bread club pickup before I ordered a dessert from there. But oh my.... they got me with a bourbon peanut butter brownie. Because I thought my husband was going to eat most of it, I also ordered a vegan cheesecake. The brownie was a 10 out of 10, and the cheesecake may be the best dessert I've ever had. I'm no vegan but don't do cow so it was nice to try. They could fool the cattle rancher from Texas with that deliciousness. The inside is very small but cute. The people who work there are super friendly. Seems family like. I never sat down to eat (because I was there for bread pickup).

Top quality artisan bakery. Everything we got was absolutely amazing and at a fair price. We will be back

a bowl of oatmeal with strawberries and nuts

Yummy food! I ordered the porridge bowl today and it was almost too pretty to eat! It was filling and delicious. Can't wait to order again. Ate in back porch and it was so calm and lovely.

The amazing pastries!

I ordered an iced honey latte with hazelnut - that was delicious and the perfect pick me up I needed for my drive home.

Yearly stop to Cindy's. The baked goods are phenomenal. The new owners are amazing. The staff is…read morefriendly. They make you feel special when you order. They have kept the original recipes and added a few other things. They have a Facebook profile will daily updates. This is helpful beyond measure. I would highly suggest ordering ahead of time because this place is so busy during grape/fall season. It isn't uncommon to see several cars parked going to get their goods. I picked up a vegan grape pie. This makes me so incredibly happy they offer this since I transitioned my diet to vegan because of medical issues. The still have the original version of pie too. The tarts are a perfect size dessert. They offer several varieties but my cravings are usually for their grape variety. They didn't have chocolate chip cookies ready yet, still in the oven, but the smell was amazing wafting out of their business. The grape cookies are a must. A soft sugar cookie filled with delicious grape filling. Honestly there is no bad choice in this place. Only downfall for me is they are a drive from home.. although they have been delivering pies to buy at casa larga winery and a few other businesses near Rochester.

WOW! While my experience with Cindy's was brief, my love of the baked goods is forever. I stayed in…read morethe car as my partner headed up to the door to order our goodies. He ended up grabbing a grape pie, a raspberry pie, and a couple grape cookies. I might catch some heat for this, but I preferred the grape cookies to the grape pie ALLLLLLL day! We dipped them in coffee the next morning and WOAH. These cookies are completely life changing. Cakey with that same delish grape filling in the center, it is a cookie experience unlike any other. The pies were excellent too, with the grape obviously edging out the raspberry for taste, texture, and general enjoyment. While the raspberry pie is super tasty, the sweetness gets to you a bit faster than the grape. I also don't love the huge amount of seeds present in any raspberry pie. Regardless, super fair prices at this amazing shop and a must do in Naples.

They are one of the few wineries that also serve food, so its a great place to grab lunch. The sandwiches we got were amazing (the Brooklyn and the Cuban). I would give the deli and bakery a 5/5. The attached winery was okay. They only do tastings at the bar, not at the table (at least when we were there). It was pretty empty.

Our next winery stop was Tabora, nestled along Seneca Lake. We were fortunate to have Keith as our…read moreserver, and he may have been one of the most remarkable people I've met in quite some time. His deep knowledge and passion shone through as he shared the rich history of the winery. The owners originally purchased land in Bucks County for farming but later moved to the Finger Lakes region, where they expanded into winemaking, a bakery, and a deli--a true craft-driven endeavor. Tabora was offering a special deal: buy one tasting flight, get the second free. Normally, I gravitate toward the drier the better, but the Winemaker's Jam caught my eye. My flight included: 1. 2021 Pinot Noir 2. 2021 Cabernet Franc 3. N.V. Heritage Noir 4. 2021 Maréchal Foch I started with the Pinot Noir, a light-bodied wine with aromas of cherry blossoms, strawberries, and dried fruit--absolutely sensational. Keith explained that all of Tabora's wines age in used French oak barrels but never for more than 18 months. Instead of prolonged oak aging, they transition the wine to stainless steel, preserving freshness while imparting just a touch of oak influence. Next up was the Cabernet Franc, which had soft tannins, a light body, and notes of raspberry and green bell pepper, with a slight oak finish--and wow, it was good. Then came my hands-down favorite: the Heritage Noir, a blend of different wines that was dry yet bursting with layered fruit flavors. It was truly an incredible experience on the palate. Finally, I sampled the Maréchal Foch, a sensational, jammy wine with hints of blackberry and pomegranate and a beautifully smooth finish. But Keith wasn't done yet--he had me try a few more, including an unoaked Cabernet Franc, which became another favorite. Aged 100% in stainless steel, it was bright with red fruit, hints of cherry, vanilla, and a touch of chocolate on the finish. Beyond the wines, Keith himself was a standout. As we sipped, he shared his life journey--from New York to Hawaii, a path shaped by his mother and sister. His stories were captivating, and if he ever writes a book, I'd be the first in line to read it. Cheers to Keith and Tabora for an unforgettable experience! #fingerlakes
