My mom and I came here on a Saturday afternoon to do something a little different for lunch. It's a convenient location as you can do some shopping and then pop in for a break! The decor is a little hokey but still fun! We got the afternoon tea which comes with 3 sandwiches (egg salad, cucumber, and your choice), a rotating scone with jam and clotted cream, and 4 little desserts. The scone the day we went was a coco cherry and it was absolutely delicious!!! The sandwiches are cute but nothing I couldn't make myself. We added on an extra pot of tea, so we got the passion fruit one a vanilla. The vanilla was so good, we almost got another pot!! It's $35 a person and an extra 12.50 for another pot of tea. Based on the small amount of food you get, I don't know if it's fully worth the $35. Also good to note that a 20% tip is included in the bill regardless of party size or price. I didn't see it anywhere on the menu, so just a warning! I wish they used cuter dish ware!! A place that does high tea should have the cutesy plates, tea cups and saucers, and pots. All of it was plain and kinda boring to look at. A missed opportunity for sure. It was a fun thing to do on a Saturday but not something I would do on the regular.

Located on the 3rd floor of Sak's 5th Ave in the Keystone mall sits a delightful tea room with sparkle and all things lovely. Our server Debbie, was excellent in guiding our selections. While some chose the Afternoon Tea which consisted of 3 tiers of tea sandwiches, scone w/ clotted cream and an English jam of choice (all sounding delicious), and mini desserts all amply satisfying amounts to enjoy, I chose the Pair Two-a salad of choice and a sandwich choice w a choice of bread. It was all good and the pleasant atmosphere is perfect to top off your shopping at the mall. Prices seem reasonable. Seating is not crowded and there are areas to snap some photos to make any special occasion there unforgettable. They also have tea sets, jams as well as some other pretties to purchase.

Tilly's Tea Room is a charming place to get together for lunch with friends while having an afternoon tea experience! I got my bridal party together for an afternoon tea party prior to wedding dress shopping. When I made the reservation, the hostess was very accommodating and booked us for the earliest they open on Saturday. Lovely experience enjoying afternoon tea with fun ceramic tea pot, tea cups, finger sandwiches, scones, and mini desserts.

Oh my gosh- how could I have not known about this place. I have been so sad since the tea room in Carmel closed. But now I have a new place. My daughter and I went to check it out. It is on the top floor of Saks- a cool little art museum is outside. The decor was quite nice. They have a high tea and a cute princess tea for kids however we just wanted tea and a snack. We ordered a vanilla flavored tea that we shared. It was very good and hot. We each ordered a scone: the scone of the day was blueberry. Delicious and a bit different from other scones I have had. A little moister. The scone came with a choice of sides. I ordered clotted cream and lemon curd. My daughter ordered the clotted cream and a strawberry jam. The lemon curd was out of this world and I had to fight my daughter off lol. I did notice that you can buy it there too! A pot of tea was $9.50 and each scone was $7.( I do wish the scone was a little bigger or maybe 2). A little expensive but so relaxing and quiet and worth the price. The staff was excellent and very helpful.

A cute little nook on the 3rd floor of Saks Fifth. From the set up to the theme being executed, this is the perfect place to gather with the girls. Our waitress was cheerful and accommodating. We even had the chef willingly come out to help individualize part of our order. There are not many meat free options listed but the chef uniquely designed a substitution for me. The food is cute and yummy. They have a special kid's menu that will help your kid to feel just like a princess/prince. We have a wonderful time.

Such a fun experience! Went here with my mom and toddler and had the best experience! You will definitely need a reservation, especially if planning to go on a Saturday as there is not room for walk-ins on weekends. We made our reservation about a week in advance. When we arrived, we were greeted by name by the owner, Sharon! Very nice touch as it let me know they are very aware of their reservations! She was very sweet and kindly showed us to our table! She even came back and took our order! It was nice to see an owner who was so involved and didn't shy away from helping her staff! We ordered the Princess Tea for my toddler which comes with a heart shaped sandwich, scone w/jam, desserts, and a "pot of tea" of their choice. They can pick from things like apple juice, orange juice, milk, or tea. We also ordered the Afternoon Tea and chose the share with a friend option. The Afternoon Tea shared with a friend comes with 6 finger sandwiches (cucumber, egg salad, and we chose chicken salad as our 3rd option), scones with cream and your choice of jam or curd, desserts, and 2 pots of tea! Everything was lovely! All of the sandwiches were delicious and each had their own distinct flavors! The cranberry scones were wonderful! I enjoyed mine with the cream and lemon curd! And the desserts were so yummy! The Mango Green Tea is a must try. The flavor is very subtle yet very satisfying! The decor here is so dainty and pretty, yet also cozy! There's smooth jazz playing in the background and overall you feel like you are enjoying tea in someone's home. All of the staff are very attentive and you can tell they enjoy their job! This place is must try for sure and one I know we will frequent!

It was my first time going and the server did an amazing job!!! I forgot her name, which is unfortunate, but she made the experience so great!! She recommended I try a Bellini, which was really good! I decided to get the afternoon tea my choice were smoked salmon with capers, lemon curd, and my tea of choice was chai. I cannot begin to tell ya'll how much I loved it!!! From the moment walking up, it looked so beautiful, high class place, very clean, amazing service, AMAZING FOOD(!!!) and amazing company. 10/10! Would 100% recommend.

So elegant. I went here on a "day date" with my wife. We had tea with scones and clotted cream - that was the goal of the trip. We also had sandwiches for lunch. It was fun to go and have a tea party in the middle of the day. It was mostly about the atmosphere for us. There were many tables open on our date day. But, the service seemed overwhelmed or thrown off by our arrival. There was a party of 12 at one table, a party of 4 at another and our party of 2. We had to wait 15 minutes to get someone to seat us (she commented, "She told me there was another reservation, but she didn't give me the details of when or how many.") and then quite a bit more wait time for someone to come to our table. The person who said, "I'll be right back." never came and finally someone who appeared to be helping but not doing his normal job, came out. He said in a surprised voice, "have you been waited on?" From that point on he helped us, and we got service. Probably just a fluke, but it made me feel like I was doing something wrong by being there... Our food took a while to get to us. We both ordered a sandwich and it was just okay. I don't think they were made to the description on the menu. My wife ordered based on the description of the sandwich and asked at one point if she got the correct order because it didn't have many of the items from the menu. We were told it was correct - the time to get the first set of sandwiches was so long, we just let it go. The clotted cream was not smooth like it normally is and the scone was stale. We had this clotted cream and scone from the Tea Room on the Midtown Holiday Home tour and it was amazing. But at the tea room, it was old and not great. Again, it was like we were not quite suppose to be there. Even though we had a reservation, they did not plan on us being there - I really felt like an unwelcome guest. We still enjoyed ourselves by ignoring the situation and enjoying each others company. It was a quiet, elegant place to meet for lunch - just the two of us. We didn't feel rushed and it was an experience worth having. I'd like to go back and see if it is better. But, at $15 / sandwich that my not be any better, I'll just go somewhere else.

I never even knew this place existed, but my dance coach wanted to treat our JR competition team to a special treat! This place is super cute and if you want to give your daughter or group of young ladies a royal fancy experience......come here! We had the space reserved for an hour and half; you come into Saks, take the escalator to the 3rd floor and Tilly's Tea Room is right there! There are gorgeous crystal style chandeliers hanging from the ceilings, beautiful elegant place setting at every seat, and light pastel pictures, couches, and decorations throughout the area. I mean they literally transformed this tiny space into a gorgeous feeling. Im not sure if they do this with all the guests, but each of our ladies was able to pick a tiara from a pile to wear during the experience. They were served lemonade (none of them wanted hot tea) and a 3 tier tray if assorted goodies from sandwiches to pastries. I believe the waitress asked them what kind of sandwiches, because one of them mentioned pb&j. I was the other chaperone so our tower wads little different. Our array of sandwiches included: the classic cucumber, a smoked salmon, an egg salad, and a tuna. I believe there were a couple of more too. Our next tier had some sort of scones which came with some amazing spreads! There was some sort of cream one (can't remember the name), lemon curd, and a jam. They were phenomenal! I mean so good I layered it and here is the way you should do it. A thin layer of white, next the lemon curd and top it with jam and go to heaven, trust me it's amazing! The top tier is where all the desserts were located. There were about 4 different types if pastries and each one was delicious! At least it what the young ladies told me. By the time I got to the too tier I was stuffed! I had a hot tea; I believe it was blueberry elderflower.....and it was light with slight fruity flavor. I enjoyed it, not sure I would pick it FIRST but I would drink it again. This is definitely a place to come to and I can't wait to bring my girls! :)

I made it out to Tilly's for a friend's birthday not too long ago. What amazed me first? I had no idea that it even existed, despite a friend actually working at Saks for years. For the price that we paid, I can't say many good things about Tilly's. The customer service is fabulous - mostly because there are barely any people going in and out of there - and while the teas are unlimited and quite good, the food was a hit or miss. The scone and cream was one of the best I've had by FAR, and the egg salad sandwich was divine, but as a vegetarian, I was quite disappointed by the cucumber-cream cheese sandwich that tasted like, well, nothing, and the pesto-tomato toast they offered - it was good, but nothing special. Definitely go for the sweets. If I were to go back, I'd probably suggest that my dining companions go for the charcuterie board and some of the other savory items they have. But I also am not sure I'd go back again.

Tilly's Tea Room is a wonderful place for a classy gathering. We came here for a mini bridal shower, and it was the perfect venue for a celebration with a group of ladies. They have a great selection of teas to choose from, and have options for food to eat as well. I'd recommend the açaí and rooibos tea! We got the cheese board, which came with a variety of cheese, crackers, fruit, and a wonderful merlot jam. The board was a good amount of snacks for 2-3 people. Not pictured were our desserts: the flourless chocolate cake and the brownie. The flourless cake was very rich, but had a nice almost mousse texture. The brownie was warm and moist. Each table is spread apart pretty far, so you have almost a little bit of privacy for your tea party.

    Ask the Community - Tilly's

What entrance should I access for a person with a mobility disability?

There is an elevator located on the first floor of Sax's 5th Avenue. Tilly's Tea Room is located on the 3rd floor.

Can anyone give me an idea of the dress code? If the weather is cold I'll be dressed warm with my uggs and leggings because I'll be out and about in the city (weekend of 12/9) prior to tea with friends. Is that acceptable?

Yes that attire will be acceptable.

All this and more can be yours when you visit Wine & Rind. At least, all that and more was mine when I visited. This is my ideal restaurant: wine focused, with a succinct menu of beautifully presented and thoughtfully created food. Plus, it's located right off the Monon Trail in Midtown Carmel, so it's a prime space for people-watching. This little restaurant is a great place to get a charcuterie platter, but I was feeling like bruschetta when I visited, so I ordered the Bruschetta Sampler, which is plenty for two people. It comes out like artwork on a wooden platter: five beautiful bruschetta toasts consisting of traditional tomato; fig and bleu cheese; capocollo and a herbed ricotta; blueberry and lemon ricotta with sugar sprinkled on top; and strawberry and cannoli cream with balsamic. The last one (strawberry and balsamic with cannoli cream) was surprising and might have been my favorite, because it tasted like cheesecake. I love being surprised! I also ordered the caprese salad, which was a wonderfully tasty platter of tomato, mozzarella, basil, pesto, olive oil, balsamic glaze and Maldon salt. It was so fresh and light. Another surprise: It was sprinkled with sprouts! I would have never thought to add that to a caprese, but it 100% worked. The service here is top-notch. The server was super nice and attentive, but also disappeared and only reappeared when necessary. Wine & Rind is a Carmel gem! I know I'll be back soon to try more of the menu, and drink more of the wine.

I loved their vibe. Two bottles of wine with lunch! How luxurious. It's these little things that we do for ourselves, while the world crumbles around us, that matter the most. Anyway! A friend turned me on to this place. I love wine, and red wine specifically, so I made a point to visit. I'm so glad I did! 305 Wine Garage is a gem. Like I mentioned, they literally have a wall of wine in the restaurant. Each bottle is labeled with the price, and they have so many different varieties. I sat near the Italian wines because I love Italian wines the most. I treated myself to brunch, which they only offer on weekends. During the winter, they're only open 50% of the weekend (Saturdays), but talking to my server, it sounds like they will open on Sundays starting in late March and through the summer. I got the Smoked Salmon Everything, which is smoked salmon, cream cheese, red onion, capers, chopped hard-boiled egg, grape tomatoes and crostini. I didn't know what it would look like before I ordered it, but I knew I liked all of the components and only wanted a little something to nibble on. This sounded like it could look like anything: Will all of the ingredients be topped on the crostini? Will it be presented as a dip? But it came out like a piece of art. They really pay attention to details here. You can order wine by the glass, by the bottle or by the flight. I got a glass of Malbec, and it was delicious. One thing to note is: This joint is 21+ only! But the server said that he sometimes sees people come in with kids, and in those cases, he will seat them in a different room. Or, if the weather is nice, families are welcome to sit at the outdoor patio. This is definitely not a place that would appeal to kids, though. This is a place that you visit to get away from kids.

It's not much to look at from the outside - in small strip mall off Fall Creek about 2 miles north of 96th, but the inside is both luxe and comfortably cozy. At just 12 tables, you get your table for the night, so there is no rush and your evening can be as long as you want to make it. They also have a gorgeous little side wine room that you can rent for parties of 6-8 for dinner. And there's a little bar area that seats maybe 4-6. We had reservations for 6pm, so there were only 2 or 3 other tables occupied when we got there, but they filled throughout the night (& we left close to 8pm). Our server Shaunda was delightful, and the owner Dan came around and checked on all the tables a few times as well. We were presented with a cous cous amuse bouche, a nice refreshing bite to start the evening. Hubs had an Italian Old Fashioned and I asked our server to pair wine for me, so it was a Decoy Sauv Blanc with our first course - the mussels. We asked for extra crostinis in order to soak up more of the delicious sauce they came in. Next was the beet arugula salad, so good! For entrees, hubs had the pappardelle bolognaise and got an iced T, and I had the short ribs with risotto, paired with a glass of cab franc. Dessert was coffee (americano) for each of us, and we split the tiramisu (see all my pics). We ate and enjoyed everything! Total with tax was right at 200 before gratuity. So this is more of a splurge place for us, (of course would be less without the beverages we did) but we will be back. It was a really pleasant evening and another big win for me picking birthday places! #yum #ReviewsByRL

It is meant to be slow, so you can settle in and enjoy your food, enjoy the company and just be in the moment. We were probably there just over 2 hours for just the two of us. Chef Dan came out many times to chat with us and really made us feel welcome. Telling us different stories, walking us through what we were eating, and just made us feel like we were special. While everything was amazing, a few standout things I would like to mention: The Mussels were amazing, such good flavor so if you are fan, make sure you order them. Nice tea spot. My tea was spot on, I ordered a black tea called Paris and it was delicious. The tea…read moretasted of caramel and vanilla and a bit of Bergamot. Really enjoyed it, I drank the whole pot. We had reservations and they accommodated 10 of us. I had ordered the high tea when the reservation was made, they need to know this in advance. The high tea was $45 on this day. Our waitress did an excellent job of taking care of us. On this day the two cakes they had were a raspberry coconut and a chocolate bourbon. They both looked delicious. I did bring a slice of the raspberry coconut ($10) home for the hubby and he loved it. My high tea had 8 finger sandwiches on the first tier, a scone and clotted cream on the second tier, and 2 macarons, white petit cake, and raspberry shortcake on the third tier. Also while we waited for them to prep our table we shopped in the gift shop at the entrance. They also had a nice sale going on where the clothes on the porch were 50% off and some others inside as well. Nice spot, the only thing is construction going on near it and parking is a bit of bear. Although I did find a spot right out front.

Great experience! I was shopping nearby and decided it was time for lunch. How about a tea shop?…read more(Thank you, #whereisSherman?) There was plenty of parking, since in front, more to the side. The rennovated house is charming and you're greeted inside (also, maybe on the porch) with their boutique clothes and gifts. I was seated quickly as there were only 5 people in the main room. The second room was filled with a large group. Grace was my server and she did a lovely job, not rush me but being very attentive (until the end.) I tried the Paris tea which I cannot make at home. Theirs was delicious with a little cream. Yum. I drank an entire pot. I also ordered the pick two-chicken salad and lemon chicken soup. The soup came out tepid and it took me a while to get Grace's attention as she was also serving the large group but this was finally remedied. The soup was delicious and chock full of chicken and vegetables. I also loved the chicken salad, served on a lightly dressed bed of greens with candied pecans on top. It took far too long to get my bill but I'll blame that on the large group, maybe.
