Always love to try a new coffee shop. Remnant is located in downtown Arcadia. It's a perfect location for a coffee shop. I was shocked that it wasn't busy on a Saturday morning over a holiday weekend. I was able to find parking right in front. As soon as I walked in I was amazed with how large the space was. The decor was athletically so pretty. They had a few seasonal specials. The girl who waited on me was very pleasant and helpful . I ordered an iced dirty chai and a cinnamon roll. I did do some exploring while I waited on my order. Upstairs they they a play area that includes a climbing wall for kids. Overall, it was an amazing space with lots of seating. It's the perfect spot to meet a friend or to check your work email.

Went here for the first time today and was very impressed. They have a TON of space, so if you're looking for a place to do some work I'd definitely recommend it. They also have an upstairs huge play area if you have kids. The staff was incredibly nice even though we came in just 30 mins before they closed they were still incredibly helpful and nice. Even to the point of washing our kids high chair tray (which they definitely did not have to do) on top of all of that their coffee was delicious and the sandwiches we got were a perfect little lunch. We will definitely be back!

We decided to drive up to Atlanta to check out this coffee shop we had been hearing about. It is so adorable!!!!! So modern for the town of Atlanta, which doesn't have much as far as food / coffee goes. The decor was perfect, the staff was so friendly, and they have an upstairs play area for kids which is so cool! They also have board games and conference rooms for meetings. This place was amazing! My husband got an iced chai tea with oat milk and I got a raspberry white ice coffee with almond milk. Both were so good, we will definitely be back!

Such a cute shop. They have so much room for seating. Very quiet and lots of plugs for working. They also have some board games, if you are there for play. They have a separate entertainment section where they sometimes have music and other activities. We don't normally get that far north, so we weren't expecting something quite this large and extravagant, but we were super happy to find it. We will be back

While I only got a drip coffee and can't fully review the breadth of their offerings, I will say this is an absolutely beautiful coffee shop. It is well worth a stop if you're driving by the area even if to just grab a quick cup of coffee and check out the interior. The building itself is huge for a coffee shop and they offer a play area for kids upstairs.

This coffee shop is absolutely adorable and a breath of fresh air to Arcadia! The coffee is perfect and you can't beat the hours! It opens at 6am which is awesome! All the tips go toward their current service project, right now it is the Arcadia Military Veteran Home Rebuild! They have breakfast sandwiches as well as bakery items! We will definitely be back soon!

This place is SPACIOUS! This is only one of several rooms, plys an upstairs, plus outdoor seating.

Color me surprised that this cute coffee shop has taken up residence in Arcadia, Indiana! Most people probably would not have had reason to come to Arcadia, a town of under 2,000 people, but Remnant is here to change that. For starters, the building is SO nice! The place is huge, I would say there are at least 30 tables with multiple rooms and multiple outdoor areas. It is immaculately clean and the decor is fresh and modern. The place would fit in easily in the downtown of any big city, so to see such a nice place in Arcadia was almost shocking. I think that they intend to use the shop as a sort of community center--they have conference rooms and a large room upstairs for children to play in as well. I think once (or if) school gets back in session, 90% of their business will come from high school students stopping by to do homework at Remnant with their friends. I went to high school in Arcadia, and I just have to say--I'm jealous! If Remnant had existed when I was in school, I would have been there all. the. time. I have only had the chance to stop by twice so far, but I had a caramel frappe, which was quite good, and a couple of their pastries, which were tasty and very affordable. They have a large selection of both hot and iced coffees and a rotating variety of breakfast pastries and cookies. I would highly encourage everyone to check out Remnant. It could be the beginning of something big for Arcadia!!

Drove on a Sunday to this spot. I wanted to give a higher score but the food wouldn't allow it. Friendly staff. Bright interior. Nice community atmosphere. Same offerings as most coffee houses. Staff recommended a pumpkin pie holiday flavored latte (iced or hot). It was good. Also ordered a cold brew it was very good. Now to the food. A large selection of pastry, scones, muffins and cookies. I chose a breakfast sandwich that comes on a croissant. To my disappointment it was microwaved. The croissant was a chewy soggy mess. Never microwave a croissant!!!!!!

Absolutely amazed by this coffee shop!!! For being in the middle of nowhere, Arcadia, it is breathtaking and has it all! The play room upstairs is spectacular and they also offer music & movers class and story time on Tuesdays. The coffee drink was so delicious and they partner with No Label at the Table to offer GF and DF treats that are incredible. We visited with my grandparents and were so pleasantly surprised with handicap parking right in front of the building AND an elevator to the second floor play room!! So many meetings spaces and work spaces available and the fresh flowers on almost every table were the sweetest touch. We will be back for sure!

Wheelers Cafe and Market

I have found another of the best places for breakfast in the surrounding area! Wheelers Cafe and…read moreMarket is a modest little place surrounded by cornfields off of Indiana 37, but don't let that deter you. They, hands down, have some of the best food around for miles! The building that Wheelers Cafe and Market occupies stood abandoned for as long as I can remember before the owners of Mercantile 37 snapped it up and renovated it. The cafe has a separate entrance from the mercantile due to differing hours of operation. The cafe is open Tuesday - Saturday, 8am - 4pm and closed on Sundays and Mondays. Wheelers has a simple menu that is mostly sandwiches, with a few other offerings thrown in (think of another Indiana staple - Biscuits & Gravy). Being my first trip, the Spicy Piggy stood out so I ordered that. The Spicy Piggy is a breakfast sandwich that has ham, egg, pepper jack cheese, bacon jam, and cholula aoli on jalapeño cheddar bread. I also ordered a coffee along with my sandwich. There is plenty of seating inside, though I am sure it fills up when they get busy. There is also ample seating outside for when the weather is nice. I found a seat, and looked around while my sandwich was being made. There is a collection of coolers along one wall that contain products from local farms and providers, as well as some craft foods from small businesses in the U.S.. Hence "Market". My breakfast sandwich was delivered to my table in no time and I dug in. That first bite was a mixture of complex flavors that I don't experience much in the area I live. If you are out eating with me and I start randomly humming, you know I am in love with what ever it is I just bit in to, and I was humming this morning! The ham had an intense flavor, unlike the mass produced stuff you get at the grocery. (I'd love to know where they get it!), the eggs were perfectly cooked, the cheese had a nice, mild burn to it (Pepper Jack cheese is a perfect cheese in my opinion!), and the bacon jam along with the cholula aoli (a fancy term for mayonnaise, if you didn't konw) brought a flavorful component to the sandwich that took it to the next level. It would have been a good sandwich without the bacon jam and cholula aoli, but the addition of these two items, are what got my tastebuds singing! The coffee was some of the best I have had in a long time also. I have shy-ed away from ordering coffee when I am out having breakfast because to many places use coffee that is reported to the best part of waking up, and is actually stale, brown water. So, I was excited when I took a sip of my cup of coffee. The Mercantile 37 website says that Neil and Angie Fine are excited to be part of the Mercantile 37 team by operating Wheelers Cafe and Market. Neal is said to be the sandwich guru, and that he and his wife, Angie, have a passion for good coffee and local food. The website also says the couple have over 25 years of experience in the food industry, and it shows! Wheelers Cafe and Market is another one of those places that I ask why are you still reading this review and not speeding over there to experience it yourself.

They serve breakfast and lunch, coffee/espresso drinks and ice tea. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Nice size free parking lot. It was such a cute and relaxing find. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming!
