    Dog friendly patio!
    Mary H.

Family night! This was the most beautiful evening to hang out with family and our dogs. I love the dog friendly patio. Perfect for summer! There was a band starting at 7pm that was the perfect backdrop music to our relaxing evening. Staff were fantastic and had great recommendations on the wine. I tried a flight of reds. The Pinot Noir was the star of the show! I also highly recommend the pizzas. The Carne and the La Peara were absolutely tasty, made with fresh ingredients to order.

S/O to Daniel's Vineyard and the Yelp elite squad for throwing this amazing event. It was a great time. We were first met by fire dancers outside as we waited to access the event. They were very entertaining. As we entered the venue there was a bag to put your collected things in and drink tickets given to us to try out the vineyards sangrias downstairs and the upstairs one of their wines. They had all kinds of snacks, apps, good eats, music, and even more wine tasting upstairs. Everyone who participated had great food and take home souvenirs. They had live music upstairs and a dope DJ downstairs. It was just all around a great event and my sister and I had a blast. Please check out the videos and pictures for a better idea of how this event went. 10/10.

It's always a good time when we pull up at Daniel's vineyard! I like a lot of the wines, however, my favorite is winners White. I also enjoy Mike G's red wine. Daniels is just a vibe. It would be cool if they had a Dj a couple of times a night and maybe played different types of music, R&B, country, jazz, and whatever else the people like! Be prepared to walk to get to the front door, but besides that it's a great time

I had an absolutely fabulous time at The YELP TREAT O'CLOCK! Everything and everyone was so nice!! I can't wait to attend another YELP event!!

Beautiful vineyard outside of downtown! Great for larger groups as there's plenty of long tables and oversized round tables. You can also watch them make your thin crust pizza in the large wood pizza oven! The wines were all very good and did not disappoint! You can make your own flight and the pours are generous.

SWEET RED?! I'm here for it and it's delicious, you can never go wrong with Daniel's Vineyard especially in the summer time. The vibes are gorgeous, the drinks delicious. The strawberry blonde beer was even delicious and the service is always top notch!

Very large space near the yacht club, you'd hardly know you were 20 minutes away from Indy! Susan was super nice and friendly, she walked us through quite a few wines, and she was very happy to explain they grow their own Marquette and Traminette varietals! Since you don't expect to see wine grapes in IN, we had to try those wines. Traminette was very light, nice and a little fizzy. The Marquette red blend (Circle City Red) was pretty nice! Definitely loved the PDA (orange contact wine). BOGO bottles of wine on Thursday, lots of wine cocktails and specials, they also have wine slushies!

After seeing "No Ruff Days" at a million events throughout the city, we were determined to come visit the Mothership. What beautiful grounds! I had only tried the drier wines (I'm a sweet wine person) and was thrilled to discover the Fireside sangria -- it tastes like a cherry tootsie pop! There is a ton of indoor and outdoor space - would be a lovely place to host an event with views on the vineyards. Another pro - There is so much parking -- almost alarming driving in because you wonder why there is so much parking. Good to know information: their pizza is half off 4pm-6pm Wednesdays. Wine is also $5/glass on Wednesdays! Also (this is my hot take) Skip the breadsticks -- they were like Olive Garden or Fazoli quality. I also wish they did wine tasting during the week (you can try their three wines-of-the-month, otherwise you just buy a flight to try multiple wines).

What a beautiful vineyard! I was taken here as part of a Birthday Wine Tour that my friend planned for me. The grounds are pretty and the indoor area is classy. Friendly knowledgeable staff. My friend and I had wine flights and my husband had a tasting which was served in noticeably smaller plastic cups with smaller pours. We ordered two wood fired pizzas as well which were really tasty! At the front of the vineyard is a sign for a fun photo opportunity. It was a really hot day when we went and it was the first of our stops so we didn't walk the grounds, but I hope to return.

I can't recommend this vineyard enough! A combination of the friendly and fun staff, great atmosphere, wine, and amazing Pizza!!! You can't go wrong! I've attended formal events here, concerts, even comedians, always something going on. (I need to get better at trivia night) Look them up online, they offer daily specials that will keep you coming back week after week. (It does for us anyway) This is a can't miss!

We've been attending the Adult Easter Egg Hunt at Daniel's for several years now and the changes this year have altered the experience. Dividing into two events was a bit disappointing for the 4pm group. When we inquired about the "why" we were given a standard "we can only have a certain number of guests on property. But we stuck around and enjoyed food and wine and watched the 6pm group and there definitely were not too many more people. I have attended events at Daniel's in the past with much LARGER crowds. The 4pm group only had a slither of space to "hunt" for eggs while the 6pm group had a much larger space. The staff I encountered at the tent setup were NOT very friendly at all which is disappointing from my previous events at Daniels. The banner that showcased what color egg equals which prize had a print error that we were not informed of. The "white" egg was not in fact white; it was a sky blue egg. Had we been provided that detail while going over "rules" would have been helpful. Overall, the event was underwhelming compared to past years.

    As you walk up!

I am reviewing as a venue, not as a restaurant or dining option. It was a celebration of life location for a wine aficionado and friend. The appetizers were delicious and there was a bar with wine and soft drinks. The first floor has the lower ballroom which holds up to 250 guests. It is 3,360 square feet. I loved the greenhouses that seat 8 guests and are heated in the winter. There's a small space upstairs for 25 seated or 40 standing guests. The Upper Ballroom is 4.400 square feet and holds up to 375 guests. There are many outdoor spaces as well.

One of the most memorable sunsets! I would recommend checking out the vineyard for the view itself :)

*** This city owned venue is managed by the Wellington of Fishers owned by Cami.**…read moreI encourage you to do your research and read all the Google reviews on this business. Working with Cami and The Wellington pushed us over the edge and this was the worst service industry experience ever making a trip to the BMV look like a dream vacation in comparison. We share so others may not fall victim to these horrific and unethical business practices. We also want to share that we would not be writing this review had Cami, the owner of The Wellington, taken ownership for her mistakes, tried to make them right or apologized to us at all during the process. Working with Cami was an absolute nightmare from day 1. Once planning started, all of our meetings we had to setup ourselves and had to press to get them scheduled. Cami would not respond for days and weeks on end. On one occasion She canceled a meeting the day-of citing it was too cold outside and she "wore the wrong shoes for the conditions today". My wife called her after receiving the email stating the cancelation to inquire why as she had taken off work to attend and Cami brought my wife to tears interrupting her and berating her for even questioning her last minute cancelation. On multiple occasions Cami refused to answer simple questions or take ownership for her mistakes, engaged in shouting matches with us (her customers), was very hostile, confrontational and blamed us for her mistakes.During ALL of our meetings Cami was incredibly disorganized. It seemed as if she was taking notes, but when we would receive our proposals, nothing we talked about in the meetings was ever reflected. Because of her lack of detail, we were tasked to track it all ourselves, as we could not trust her to pay attention and make sure things would be taken care of. As a result, over a period of several months, it took 7 proposals for Cami to get everything correct. We can assure you, this was not because we changed our minds so many times. It got to the point where Cami suggested we come in to hash everything out. We were skeptical of this initially as we wanted to keep all communication via email. Again, Cami exhibited her lack of communication skills by not replying for days and sometimes even weeks. She would create multiple email chains, not 'reply all' and not answer all of our questions, which in turn would cause confusion, leaving us no choice but to meet in person to work everything out. We requested one email chain and her to 'reply all' so that all parties could be kept in the loop, but she could not follow these simple requests. The day-of the wedding it was apparent that Cami Did not not take notes, or write anything down we had given her or sent her as she had no idea where our cards and gifts table or guest tables went or what time anything was happening. By not reviewing or printing off these items, she asked our set up team multiple questions throughout the day, our DJ could never find her to ensure the buffet was ready for him to release tables for dinner, our cutting cake wasn't put on the floor and our bridal party had to run it out right before grand entrances, and we had to personally find her to get the bottle of champagne we purchased for our toast. Because she could never be found, our timeline was delayed as a result. Had she prepared and printed the documents beforehand, this could all have been avoided. After the wedding, several of our guests mentioned that the servers were extremely rude. We witnessed one of the servers walking by a guest, bumping into her and knocking her water glass out of her hand. The server did not stop to apologize, clearing knowing what she had done, even after we yelled out. At the end of the day, our wedding reception went okay. However, reflecting on the last several months, we feel as though we were robbed of the joy of planning our wedding due to Cami. She is untrustworthy, unethical, defensive, and unapologetic to her customers. It's unfortunate we write this review, but this is our story and we hope by sharing it in detail we can spare others from being robbed of the joys that come with planning for their special day

She provided such good guidelines that we did not need a wedding planner. Even with COVID-19 happening, the wedding was a huge success. The room was clean and all of the table and chairs were ready to go for us to decorate. We also had the event catered there and the all the setup was done and ready for us to go. The kitchen was available to us and was extremely clean with plenty of prep space for the caterers. We would definitely recommend this venue for anyone for any occasion!

The event that I was at had about 50 people and we were not crowded in. There is one bathroom with a changing table, a bar sink area but I didn't see a refrigerator or stove if you need to keep food/beverages cold or heat food up. I can see the space being used for an intimate wedding, engagement party, bridal or baby shower easily. Even the driest of the wines, the Cabernet Sauvignon, is very sweet. So, if you love sweet wines, this place is for you! Right now, they are only pouring a Cabernet, a red blend, a Riesling and a sweet Rose. The grapes are imported, but Woolley Yak has their own vineyard, and the intention is that they will soon start producing wine from their own grapes. You can get a flight of wine, or a glass of wine, or a mimosa, and then you can take your wine outside with you as you explore the grounds. There are picnic benches here and there. There's also a food truck that sells four different types of grilled cheese sandwiches and handheld charcuterie cups. I think food is only available Friday through Sunday, though. I visited with children (well, a teen and an almost tween), but they are a good hang and will play on a playground with the best of them, so we headed straight for the nature play space. The playground was designed to encourage kids to engage in unstructured play, so it has a lot of natural elements all around, like tree stumps, hay bales and logs. My kids are "co-op kids" for life (their early years were spent at a nature-based cooperative preschool), so they thrive with this type of playground. There's also a tire mound to climb, a balance beam to balance on, and a basketball shooting station made from a grain wagon. There's lots of space to run around, and a few trees to climb, too. The big draw of Woolly Yak is the yaks! There are also Babydoll Southdown sheep, Kunekune pigs and chickens that live on the ranch. You can just sit on a bench and watch these animals do their things in their living spaces. Or, if you want a more up-close experience, you can purchase a ticket to one of the animal experiences, like storytime with sheep or tea with lambs. You can also experience brushing the yaks and giving them treats. If you didn't want to do any of those experiences, though, you could just visit the ranch to see the animals for free! There is no admission to enter the ranch or to park. It's a nice place to visit to stroll around and see what you can see.
