I had to cancel the event and they would not issue a refund for the rental, food, dress ( ruined from dirty standing water), flight, and hotel costs. Their authorized representative that was at the event said they would issue a refund for everything but 2 days later the manager said they are using a force majeure clause in the contract. The venue flooded due to improper drainage. These people should be ashamed of themselves and obviously do the right thing. When I reserved this place I paid full price not a deposit and they were far from transparent. I told them I did not want to pay for alcohol and that I wanted a cashbar, the manager JoAnna said I could talk to the beverage manager at a later date. She did not mention the $1200 price tag that came with having a cashbar for 150 people and guests of course still had to pay for their drinks. I was supposed to have a "concierge" person communicate throughout the process which would have been from 5/1 to 8/1, that didn't happen. I heard from them 2 days before the event. I was raising money for my nonprofit organization that offers free vacation lodging to individuals with life limiting illnesses and/or their unpaid caregivers but now I am at a loss of $6000.

I only do so when I feel that I have been disrespected on a human level. At first, Cami appeared warm and promising. She emphasized that she was Catholic, just like my wife and me, which felt meaningful given that we were having a Catholic wedding. That sense of shared values helped build trust. That façade ended the moment we signed the venue agreement. From that point on, her demeanor changed completely. Whatever image she claims through religion is not reflected in her actions. She is not the Catholic person she presents herself to be, and in our experience, that claim served only as a veil for behavior that was cruel, dismissive, and deeply unkind. Her behavior was ugly not only toward me, but toward my wife and our wedding planner as well. Throughout the planning process and during the events themselves, her temperament was consistently nasty, hostile, and confrontational. There was a complete absence of empathy or basic human decency, which is especially shocking given the importance and emotional weight of the occasion she was entrusted to support. If you are a person of color or come from a different culture, I strongly urge you to stay away from this establishment. The fair pricing may seem appealing at first, but it is not worth the disrespect that comes with it. The treatment you will receive from the owner will undo months or even years of careful planning, intention, and emotional investment. Our wedding was a two-day event: a cultural ceremony on the first day and a traditional reception on the second. Well in advance, I clearly explained which actions would be considered deeply disrespectful in my culture. Despite explicit conversations and agreements, Cami proceeded to do the opposite. In the middle of our cultural ceremony, she began bringing out trash bags to collect a few used plastic cups, an action that is deeply disrespectful in my culture, entirely unnecessary, and profoundly disruptive. As the groom, I had to leave my seat during the ceremony to confront her. She was unapologetic and dismissed my concerns, stating she needed to "get ready for the next day," even though we still had two full hours remaining in the event we had paid for. Unprovoked, she used vulgar and inappropriate language when speaking to members of my family--people who had traveled thousands of miles to attend our wedding. The second day was no better. The open bar was shut down two hours early, we were served significantly less food than contracted, and the alcohol brands provided were not what we had agreed upon. At the end of the reception, I asked a server if my guests or I had done anything to offend the owner. Her response was simple and chilling: "No, it's not you. That's just who Cami is. I'm sorry." The most lasting memory of my wedding is not the music, the dancing, or the celebration--it is the nastiness of the venue owner. Even now, when my wife brings it up, I try to minimize it, not because it didn't matter, but because I don't want to further tarnish her memory of our wedding. I will never forgive myself for choosing this venue, and I sincerely hope no one else is left with the same regret.

It's located about 5 minutes from Whitestown on the NW side of Indy in the countryside. Just 3 miles off of I-65, one exit north of the Zionsville exit and less than 30 minutes from downtown Indy. The barn is two stories with a flight of stairs. I'm not sure of the barn capacity but I would think this is best for a small to medium size event. The free Holiday Market had approximately 18 - 20 vendors in attendance. Cork and Wine Barrel was there along with a jewelry artist, a tattoo artist and Fantasy face painter, chocolate and cookie makers, a candle maker, a variety of signs, a small boutique, a lap blanket quilter and an artist displaying her oil paintings. One of the vendors, Keepsakes By Design, does personalized itching in glass cookware which is perfect for our bakers in the family. A couple of small food and beverage vendors were onsite with BBQ sandwiches, hot chocolate and soda. I found several vendors that is perfect for hostess gifts and family Christmas presents. So glad we took the time to visit today.

Your options: rent Henry's (not equipped for bridal parties -- no hair, makeup, or staging space) or squeeze into limited space downstairs. At our wedding, our groomsmen had to physically carry my Aunt up the stairs so she could get ready with me. If anyone in your party -- or any guest -- has mobility issues, think hard about this. The overcharging isn't subtle, and it's documented on their own social media. At their "Grand Opening," booked couples were charged $25 to park in a baseball field and get shuttled in -- a detail they didn't disclose until the day of. For $75, you could get VIP parking up front, conveniently reserved for friends and family of the owners based on a convo I had in the restroom with a family member of the owners - whom they'd already had a party for the night before.. Paying customers in the cheap seats, insiders up front -- make of that what you will - especially when the insiders also participated the night before. And once again: if you had accessibility needs, you found out about the parking situation four hours before your event, with no plan in place. The owner also changed outfits no less than three times at the Grand Opening alone -- who knows how many wardrobe changes happen at the other promotional parties she throws so often. Multiple costume changes for an event isn't cheap, and it's hard not to wonder how much of what we paid went toward funding that kind of spectacle instead of, say, an elevator. The "booked out for years" claim doesn't square with the constant promotional parties. If you're really booked solid, why the ongoing push for exposure? Add-on costs pile up fast: $300 for outside DJs to plug into their sound system, $125/hour for coat check attendants. The venue and grounds are genuinely beautiful -- but you're decorating roughly 18,000 sq ft, and that does not come cheap. Speaking as a bride who got married there in June 2026: don't expect any breaks on cost. Bottom line: they're new, but "new" doesn't excuse repeated bad calls that vendors are already talking about. I wouldn't recommend Westwood. Had we known about the missing elevator upfront, we wouldn't have booked. A venue that prioritizes sound quality over basic accessibility for grandparents, parents, kids, and even the bride herself tells you everything you need to know about where their priorities sit.
