This is my second time coming to this winery. I came for a wine tasting with friends. The place is cute and cozy. We met the owner who was very friendly and humorous. He explained their wine process and was very knowledgabale about grapes and all sorts of things. I'm excited to come back in the summer to tour their vineyards.

Brunch at the Rejoicing Vine was absolutely fabulous, and it was so hard to pick what to enjoy! I chose the mimosa flight (sooooo good) and avocado toast, as well as trying a Nutella waffle. Quite frankly, you cannot go wrong with anything you choose, but I've been a couple of times, and both service and experience have been wonderful. I cannot wait to go back!

Participated in wine tour - Owners are passionate about what they do! Definitely an experience I recommend. Good wine and good food.

After discovering The Rejoicing Vine from a Yelp event, we decided to go back to check it out for brunch. What a great idea! The atmosphere is adorable- comfy & well lit, and I can't wait to visit again when the patio is open. We enjoyed the devour Indy menu and everything was delicious. The mimosas of course were wonderful, and we really enjoyed all the entrees - the panini being our favorite. Great, friendly service, lovely atmosphere and great food! If we lived closer, we'd be regulars.

I was first introduced to The Rejoicing Vine during UnCork Me Wine Festival. They specialize in sparkling wines which is my absolute favorite, so my sisters & I decided to check them out for brunch. Shelby and Rowen were so sweet and attentive while helping us. Their brunch food menu is very limited so we decided not to eat and ordered the mimosa flights only. It came with three 1/2 pours of white sparkling wine & your choice of organic juice for $15. I chose pear, peach and mango & all 3 were very delicious. It's a smaller establishment but the ambiance was very calm and relaxing. I plan to visit again during warmer months once the flowers have bloomed and possibly tour the winery. I'm sure it's beautiful!

What a hidden gem this little winery is! It's nestled away in a residential-ish area so don't blink or you might miss the building. They specialize in sparkling wines and make a concerted effort to produce them as sustainably as practicable. We came here for the first weekend that they were. Doing weekend brunch and it did not disappoint. Your 1st mimosa is only $1 and after that everything is reasonably-priced. The brunch offerings are what you would expect (waffles, salads, charcuterie, bagels, etc) for a place with a small, limited food prep area. But everything was delicious. I can't wait for the weather to warm up because they have a lot of outdoor seating and it is dog-friendly.

Classic mimosa - it's smiling at me!

We enjoyed an excellent brunch here. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, walking us through their selection of sparkling wines. The brunch portions seemed small, but we left comfortably full, not too hungry and not miserably stuffed. It is bright and airy inside, but I'm excited to visit in the summer when maybe the garage door is open or you can sit at one of the outdoor tables.

Visited The Rejoicing Vine on a winery tour, and it was a good introduction to their business. We heard directly from the owner, and he took us from the tasting room to the vineyard then to production area. We learned about their sustainable and regenerative practices. Did you know you can serve wine from a keg instead of bottles? The Rejoicing Vine focuses on sparkling wines, and we tried several during the tour. The wines ranged from dry to semi-sweet, and were palatable to most taste buds. I think most folks would enjoy their wines because they are bubbly and not super sweet. The winery is located on the northwest side of town, and admittedly it felt like a destination visit since there wasn't a whole lot nearby. The tasting room is nice and there is also an outdoor patio. In a way it was cool because it felt like you are out in nature, but you are not too far from the city.

I really enjoy the intimacy of The Rejoicing Vine. I've got a couple times this past winter and can't wait to see it in the summer. They have a fun and delicious brunch menu! It is tucked away so it feels like you are in the country even though you are close to the highway! I would recommend for people to check this place out!! Hidden gem for sure!!

Here's a refined version with a few minor adjustments for clarity and flow: This place is ADORABLE! I went here yesterday with a colleague and wasn't expecting how cute and homey it would feel. It's like you're at a tucked-away ranch, but you're really just around the corner from the city! We tried the wine flight (sampling all the wines), and my favorite was the sparkling Riesling (dry), while my colleague's favorite was the Bubblicious (a sparkling, semi-dry rosé). We also enjoyed the spooky charcuterie board. This place couldn't get any cuter! It's the perfect spot for a date night or a girls' night out. Brent, the owner, is fantastic, and Emily, the marketing manager, is super friendly and welcoming. They both made the experience even better. Oh, and did you know they're Indy's only sparkling winery? Love that! Note-- They also offer private events.

We came here on a Friday night (October 11) and it was warm enough to sit outside so we did because it is so beautiful and peaceful. The inside is also really cute. We ordered flights, a charcuterie board, and the seasonal wine slushie. I perfect evening. The service was friendly and helpful.

We came in for a tour of the Winery to celebrate Father's Day. Brent was such a wonderful host! We absolutely loved starting in the tasting room with a pour of Rose and then walking outside to learn more about the vineyard and their regenerative growing practices. As a huge foodie and chef it was so cool to hear how they use legume plants to help feed the pollinators! If you are looking for something fun to do with family or friends I highly recommend visiting the Rejoicing Vine for a wonderful afternoon. It's family friendly with an air conditioned tasting room, outside picnic tables with umbrellas, and even a set of Bags (Corn Hole) to play with!

The team goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed every time you step through the door. They are a great brunch spot and offer a lovely variety of wine. They also did a great job hosting an event I had there.

Confession: I'm not the biggest fan of Indiana wine. (This isn't actually a confession or a secret…read more I will gladly tell anyone who will listen that I don't like Indiana wine.) It's usually way too sweet for my palate, even the dry wine. But the wine I tasted at Urban Vines was really good! Could it be that I can no longer say that I don't like Indiana wine? If you like dry wine like I do, I suggest sticking to the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Those were the red wines that I chose for my wine flight, plus the Pinot Gris from the white wine section. These were all delicious and dry enough for me. (If we're really quibbling, they were still slightly sweeter than I like, but I realize Indiana wine can only go so dry.) Mostly, though, Urban Vines is ideal for people who like sweeter wines. The people who see "cotton candy" on the wine bottle and think, "Yes, this is what I want. I want my wine to taste like liquified sugar." That said, I did taste a sample of the Wine-A-Rita, which is a sweet wine infused with agave and lime, and served on ice. Whoo! That's a nice little sippin' drink. I could see killing a couple of glasses of that on a hot Indiana summer evening. I should also mention: The pours that they give you for the wine flights are generous! More than generous, actually. I am no wine lightweight, and I could feel the sweet and bitter fruits flowing nicely throughout my bloodstream by the time I took my last sip. Luckily, Urban Vines has food to offset all of the wine. I came for a pizza flight, but they weren't offering them when I visited, so I got the margherita pizza instead, which came with torn pieces of basil, marinated and roasted tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. It was very tasty! They also offer things like boards (veggie boards, breadstick boards, cheese boards, meat boards), plus salads and desserts. They also offer brunch on the weekends. This is a pleasant little place to hang out and enjoy wine and food. It's also family-friendly -- they have a small playground that's near the patio seating, so you can relax and also watch your kids play. Urban Vines is a nice place to unwind with some wine and food, and just enjoy the day.

The facility was very nice, from the impressive external landscaping to the lovely wine shop/tasting bar to the relaxing garden-patio-themed dining area. We visited with the intention of just doing a tasting but ended up having a light lunch along with that tasting. We were glad that we did as the charcuterie board that we ordered was terrific with olives, naan, hummus, chips, cucumbers and more. It was enough to be shareable. But the highlight was still the wine. We also shared the flight as we did not want to overdo it. We tried the Peach Sangrini, Peach Pie, Lemon Moscato, Raspberry Espresso and Sweet Red Lime. All were good but I'd have to say that the standouts to me were the Lemon Moscato, which was refreshing and tasty, and the Sweet Red Lime which delivered what the name implied with a citrusy, lightly sweet flavor. The prices were not bad as I thought it was a good value for what we received. I would be remiss if I did not also note that the service was top-notch. Our server was efficient, attentive and knowledgeable. The greeter was also pleasant and welcoming. It is likewise noteworthy that we had our 8-month-old granddaughter with us, and it was greatly appreciated that they offered a family-friendly experience that accommodated her as well. Even the driest of the wines, the Cabernet Sauvignon, is very sweet. So, if you love sweet wines, this place is for you! Right now, they are only pouring a Cabernet, a red blend, a Riesling and a sweet Rose. The grapes are imported, but Woolley Yak has their own vineyard, and the intention is that they will soon start producing wine from their own grapes. You can get a flight of wine, or a glass of wine, or a mimosa, and then you can take your wine outside with you as you explore the grounds. There are picnic benches here and there. There's also a food truck that sells four different types of grilled cheese sandwiches and handheld charcuterie cups. I think food is only available Friday through Sunday, though. I visited with children (well, a teen and an almost tween), but they are a good hang and will play on a playground with the best of them, so we headed straight for the nature play space. The playground was designed to encourage kids to engage in unstructured play, so it has a lot of natural elements all around, like tree stumps, hay bales and logs. My kids are "co-op kids" for life (their early years were spent at a nature-based cooperative preschool), so they thrive with this type of playground. There's also a tire mound to climb, a balance beam to balance on, and a basketball shooting station made from a grain wagon. There's lots of space to run around, and a few trees to climb, too. The big draw of Woolly Yak is the yaks! There are also Babydoll Southdown sheep, Kunekune pigs and chickens that live on the ranch. You can just sit on a bench and watch these animals do their things in their living spaces. Or, if you want a more up-close experience, you can purchase a ticket to one of the animal experiences, like storytime with sheep or tea with lambs. You can also experience brushing the yaks and giving them treats. If you didn't want to do any of those experiences, though, you could just visit the ranch to see the animals for free! There is no admission to enter the ranch or to park. It's a nice place to visit to stroll around and see what you can see.

Decided to check out this new winery that just opened a few miles past Cicero. Since the winery is…read morenew they only had 5 wines (should be getting more in a few weeks) to taste. I will say these are sweet wines so if you're a dry wine person I would go to see the Yaks, not drink the wine. But I love the concept of grabbing a glass or a bottle walking around the grounds and visiting the Yak pen. There is a beautiful pond on site along with a food truck and some picnic tables, which is perfect for an afternoon outside to relax and enjoy nature. The website mentioned sheep, chickens, and pigs, (as well as Yaks) I only saw the pigs and Yaks while I was there however I did not inquire about the other animals, So if you're going for the animals you may want to call as I'm not sure if the other animals are only out certain times.
