    Flight of Momosa

After doing a 5 generations photoshoot at Falls Park, we all decided it would be nice to have breakfast together. This restaurant is new to us, as it wasn't there when we lived in Pendleton many moons ago. We all love an old historic home, so win, win. I was so excited about my flight of mimosas, I didn't get a picture of my omelet, but it was devine. All 4 of my granddaughters wanted the berry waffles and every single one of them devoured their food. My daughter, mother and grandmother ordered different breakfast wraps and we all very pleased. You do have to go up to the register to order and then they bring your food to you. You're asked to bus your own tables into provided bus bins. Very small business feel with a lot of attention to detail and providing a homey yet upscale atmosphere? I can't quite put my finger on it, but it was greatly enjoyed by all.

We came here this morning intentionally to celebrate Rosemary's 84th birthday with breakfast. This was our first time at this restaurant. We were greeted on arrival and our staff was phenomenal. She helped guide us through the menu and all the offerings. You can enjoy almost any craving: sweet or savory. Their lunch offerings look like there will be another visit with my DH. He will enjoy ! . Kirstin (owner) stopped by our table and was absolutely delightful. This place is so warm, comfortable and clean and the food is so good. I cannot recommend it high enough. I'm including pictures of Rosemary birthday breakfast. They should make you hungry too!

I took my granddaughters here for a "tea party", and we had the best possible time! Everyone was so very helpful and friendly, and made this a very special memory for us! I can't wait to do it again! The food was amazing, as well! Especially with my sensitivity to gluten, it was so refreshing to find gluten free options that were unbelievably delicious! I didn't feel like I was being deprived of anything that everyone else was partaking in!

I'm in town for my boyfriend's mother's funeral and we decided to have brunch here. The food is awesome. I had the Southwestern Omelette with a mocha latte. My boyfriend had the breakfast burrito with some kind of iced coffee. His daughters shared some type of salad and they were taking a cinnamon roll with them to share. The service was top notch and the waitress was so nice. The ambiance is so cozy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in Indiana. Two thumbs up.

Very nice renovated home that now serves as restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was prepared fresh, they had some delicious looking pastries and cookies in their front cases. Unfortunately I didn't try any. Herbal tea steeped upon ordering had great flavor. I really enjoyed one of the savory options, a concept I have never considered before. Street parking out front and some tables and chairs for warmer weather.

Has anyone tried the lemon cookie from ITTT?? Because you need to go tomorrow if you haven't! Today was a fun trek for a group of my friends to enjoy lunch at Invited and we had a lovely time. We ate inside on the first floor and I was impressed by the comfy chairs. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. It's a varied and different menu than you'll find most other places, like chicken and waffles but the chicken is their chicken salad. Waffles, savory or sweet, feature in lots of dishes, but also wraps , salads, omelettes and their own baked goods as well as coffee and tea, lattes etc. I ordered a Leaded Chai (Dirty Chai) that was delicious and served in a china cup. My waffle, the Croque Monsieur, was just okay but I've had fabulous Croque Monsieurs at a French restaurant so, not fair! The waffle was great Highly recommended!

Cute little coffee shop downtown Pendleton. Stopped in quick for an iced latte to go and left with a HUGE delicious cinnamon roll I warmed up later at home and ate. While I was standing waiting for my coffee it smelled amazing I saw a couple entrees being served and they looked delicious, definitely need to head back and grab a bite to eat here. If the food tastes as good as the cinnamon roll it will be well worth the drive back for me. Service was a little slow but the young kid behind the counter was just that, young and probably his first job, he was doing the best he could, hopefully management can take him under their wing and grow him to be a great barista while he's there. Everyone needs to start somewhere, so show patience, it will be worth the wait!

Right off the bat, this restaurant could not be any cuter!! It is a house that was remodeled to accommodate a restaurant, making it feel very welcoming and homey. Ordering is easy, and they have a good selection of food, drinks, etc. The service was great, the staff were very friendly & helpful. We look forward to returning!

Love this place! The food is fresh and so good! The decor and layout is so beautiful. It's a great place to meet a friend for a drink and a bite to eat.

I loved this place!! My mother, sister and I came here for a girls brunch. I cant believe Pendleton has such a gem in the heart of the town! The customer service is impeccable and honestly all of the food is so delicious. I ordered the grilled cheese waffle and it came with a cup of house made tomato soup. This was a 15/10!! Best tomato soup I've ever had and the grilled cheese waffle was so warm and cheesy! I also ordered a 16oz. Red velvet latte with oat milk. It was delicious! Tasted like a red velvet cake! My mother ordered the chocolate nana waffle and she loved it. Anyone who has a sweet tooth and loves chocolate, peanut butter and bananas - this will be a hit with you. She also ordered toasted marshmallow chi latte with oat milk. She said it was something she would be back for! I tasted it as well and it was delicious! Loved the chi flavor in it along with the toasted marshmallow. My sister ordered the birdie waffle. She loved it! The creamy basil dressing is to die for. She also ordered a toasted marshmallow chi latte but hers with whole milk. They have a beautiful location and the inside is just as nice! You order at the downstairs counter, they give you a number and you seat yourself. They do have a downstairs and upstairs seating area. They do bring you your food and I will mention that you clean up after yourself. There are cute little signs on each table where after you're done eating, you collect your plates and cups and bring it to a designated area. They also have massive cinnamon rolls that are only sold on Friday's and Saturday's. They do sell out quickly of these but if you can manage to grab one - do it! They're so good! Also, the gluten free banana nut muffins are very good as well! Truly can't wait to bring my husband and in laws here with me next time! We will definitely be back again soon!

Invited was such a cute brunch stop. We had a girls day out. They have fun coffees and they make their own syrups! My waffle was packed full of flavor and the sauce pulled everything together. You do have to order at the front of the restaurant and they bring the food out to you. We sat upstairs where there was beautiful day light shining in, it's a cozy spot!

My lunch was my favorite classic bagel, pumpernickel bagel with lox and cream cheese, red onion and tomato and I was sold after my first bite. I brought RRR here after the Saturday Farmers market and he enjoyed his bagel sandwich as well. First of all, we learned from the owner, Krishna, their bagels are made in New York in the right way, boiled then lightly par baked so they can be frozen and shipped. Sophie's then finishes the bake on site so they taste fresh every day. I have never been to New York and gotten a bagel so I can't honestly compare, but I'm not sad! The bagels are chewy and delicious. Also, they use Boars Head deli meats, high quality and worth it. We have only gotten water with our lunches here so I have no idea what their beverages are like but I suspect my 11 year old granddaughter would love the bubble tea. This is definitely worth a breakfast/brunch/ lunch stop if you're anywhere in the area.

At $9-10 each why not! Blueberry Lemon Drop was good, but the Watermelon was my favorite. We also tried the caramel apple and it was good too. For dinner I got the pork tenderloin sandwich with onion rings. Both were delicious and the server said all were made in house. What I loved about the onion rings was the super thick and crunchy beer batter. We also got some sort or chicken bowl that was a lot of food. Came with chips. That's not my particular thing but the person who ordered it loved it. They make all their own dressings and believe me when I tell you the spicy ranch is spicy. I loaded my onion ring up with that ranch and I thought I was going to pass out it was so hot. I still ate it just not as much at one of time. They have plenty of seating at the bar or tables inside and a few outside tables by the street where we saw people take advantage of the nice weather and brought their dogs. They have a small stage where they have live performances, I think someone was coming last night we were just there too early. They have pull tabs for those who are gamblers. The place was really clean and staff were friendly yet busy. Parking can be tricky so be prepared to walk some during peak times.

Since I would miss the activities planned for later that week, we both carved out some time to have a small celebration with just the two of us. It was one of those moments that is good for the soul. Every good story needs a great setting. And the context of our story took place at Lincoln Square in Fortville. It was the perfect middle point between our two homes, so it seemed only natural. I had never been to this location. The birthday girl ordered the decadent Banana Bread French Toast. It is topped with fresh banana slices, pecans, caramel sauce and cinnamon whipped butter! I mean, Jesus, take the wheel! I went with a classic Western omelet. You can tell a lot about a place by how they cook the classics. And Lincoln Square did it right. Plus, my omelet came with hash browns and my choice of toast, pancakes, a biscuit or French toast. I felt like it was my final meal before walking the Green Mile! Everything was delicious. We went a little late for most breakfast crowds, so the diner wasn't very busy. Either way, we had great service and the staff were all very kind. I had the feeling that even if they had been busy, you would still be given excellent service with a smile. Like my coffee mug reminded me, every sip counts. I feel like that is a mantra Lincoln Square holds dear. Side note: I am new Yelper, and I am still trying to get a hang of this taking picture of everything deal. How do you guys do it? Do you ask permission first? I took some pictures of the restaurant and the outdoor signage before going inside. Yet, before I could even get to the front door, the manager came outside to meet me and asked if everything was alright. I explained I was working on a Yelp review, and he was very kind.
