We came here this morning intentionally to celebrate Rosemary's 84th birthday with breakfast. This was our first time at this restaurant. We were greeted on arrival and our staff was phenomenal. She helped guide us through the menu and all the offerings. You can enjoy almost any craving: sweet or savory. Their lunch offerings look like there will be another visit with my DH. He will enjoy ! . Kirstin (owner) stopped by our table and was absolutely delightful. This place is so warm, comfortable and clean and the food is so good. I cannot recommend it high enough. I'm including pictures of Rosemary birthday breakfast. They should make you hungry too!

I took my granddaughters here for a "tea party", and we had the best possible time! Everyone was so very helpful and friendly, and made this a very special memory for us! I can't wait to do it again! The food was amazing, as well! Especially with my sensitivity to gluten, it was so refreshing to find gluten free options that were unbelievably delicious! I didn't feel like I was being deprived of anything that everyone else was partaking in!

I'm in town for my boyfriend's mother's funeral and we decided to have brunch here. The food is awesome. I had the Southwestern Omelette with a mocha latte. My boyfriend had the breakfast burrito with some kind of iced coffee. His daughters shared some type of salad and they were taking a cinnamon roll with them to share. The service was top notch and the waitress was so nice. The ambiance is so cozy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in Indiana. Two thumbs up.

Very nice renovated home that now serves as restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was prepared fresh, they had some delicious looking pastries and cookies in their front cases. Unfortunately I didn't try any. Herbal tea steeped upon ordering had great flavor. I really enjoyed one of the savory options, a concept I have never considered before. Street parking out front and some tables and chairs for warmer weather.

Has anyone tried the lemon cookie from ITTT?? Because you need to go tomorrow if you haven't! Today was a fun trek for a group of my friends to enjoy lunch at Invited and we had a lovely time. We ate inside on the first floor and I was impressed by the comfy chairs. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. It's a varied and different menu than you'll find most other places, like chicken and waffles but the chicken is their chicken salad. Waffles, savory or sweet, feature in lots of dishes, but also wraps , salads, omelettes and their own baked goods as well as coffee and tea, lattes etc. I ordered a Leaded Chai (Dirty Chai) that was delicious and served in a china cup. My waffle, the Croque Monsieur, was just okay but I've had fabulous Croque Monsieurs at a French restaurant so, not fair! The waffle was great Highly recommended!

Cute little coffee shop downtown Pendleton. Stopped in quick for an iced latte to go and left with a HUGE delicious cinnamon roll I warmed up later at home and ate. While I was standing waiting for my coffee it smelled amazing I saw a couple entrees being served and they looked delicious, definitely need to head back and grab a bite to eat here. If the food tastes as good as the cinnamon roll it will be well worth the drive back for me. Service was a little slow but the young kid behind the counter was just that, young and probably his first job, he was doing the best he could, hopefully management can take him under their wing and grow him to be a great barista while he's there. Everyone needs to start somewhere, so show patience, it will be worth the wait!

Right off the bat, this restaurant could not be any cuter!! It is a house that was remodeled to accommodate a restaurant, making it feel very welcoming and homey. Ordering is easy, and they have a good selection of food, drinks, etc. The service was great, the staff were very friendly & helpful. We look forward to returning!

Love this place! The food is fresh and so good! The decor and layout is so beautiful. It's a great place to meet a friend for a drink and a bite to eat.

I loved this place!! My mother, sister and I came here for a girls brunch. I cant believe Pendleton has such a gem in the heart of the town! The customer service is impeccable and honestly all of the food is so delicious. I ordered the grilled cheese waffle and it came with a cup of house made tomato soup. This was a 15/10!! Best tomato soup I've ever had and the grilled cheese waffle was so warm and cheesy! I also ordered a 16oz. Red velvet latte with oat milk. It was delicious! Tasted like a red velvet cake! My mother ordered the chocolate nana waffle and she loved it. Anyone who has a sweet tooth and loves chocolate, peanut butter and bananas - this will be a hit with you. She also ordered toasted marshmallow chi latte with oat milk. She said it was something she would be back for! I tasted it as well and it was delicious! Loved the chi flavor in it along with the toasted marshmallow. My sister ordered the birdie waffle. She loved it! The creamy basil dressing is to die for. She also ordered a toasted marshmallow chi latte but hers with whole milk. They have a beautiful location and the inside is just as nice! You order at the downstairs counter, they give you a number and you seat yourself. They do have a downstairs and upstairs seating area. They do bring you your food and I will mention that you clean up after yourself. There are cute little signs on each table where after you're done eating, you collect your plates and cups and bring it to a designated area. They also have massive cinnamon rolls that are only sold on Friday's and Saturday's. They do sell out quickly of these but if you can manage to grab one - do it! They're so good! Also, the gluten free banana nut muffins are very good as well! Truly can't wait to bring my husband and in laws here with me next time! We will definitely be back again soon!

Invited was such a cute brunch stop. We had a girls day out. They have fun coffees and they make their own syrups! My waffle was packed full of flavor and the sauce pulled everything together. You do have to order at the front of the restaurant and they bring the food out to you. We sat upstairs where there was beautiful day light shining in, it's a cozy spot!

I was looking forward to it, as this has been on my list of places to go, and we haven't been here before. There were supposed to be 10 of us be we ended up being 8 this night. We had reservations, and had the lovely little private room in the back. (The whole restaurant seems just to seat about 20 or so.) Decor is fun & a nod to all things Britsh. We had 7 scotch eggs for the table. They were served cut in half with a mustard hollandaise, and we re scrumptious. Around the table, we had a variety of beers nda cocktails. I asked the server to pair me a white to go with my fish & chips, and asked for anything except Moscato. They sent a sauvignon blanc that was perfect. My friend next to be had a bloody Mary that was definitely Instagram worthy (see pics). The menu is fairly extensive, but most of us ordered either the fish & chops or the steak & Guinness pie (like a shepherd's pie). For pricing, the scotch eggs are $14.95 ea.; the fish & chips was $29, and the steak & Guinness pie was $30, so I would classify this as "upscale pub." Everything was tasty and a #yum #ReviewsByRL

My experience may be because I was part of a large group of ladies, the service was slow but friendly. It also seemed a bit chaotic. Everyone complained of the parking as well but I did not have that issue as I always get to where I am going early and I found it easy to park in the extra lot behind the building. Apparently there is a place across the street from the building where you can also park. We were there at 1pm so lunch was on the agenda. I decided to forgo a regular meal and just get the cake flight, after all they are a bakery and I should try their best! I ordered a regular iced tea (no sugar) to go along with my cake. The cake flight I chose was the C.J.'s Vanilla Almond Buttercream (Wedding Cake), Dorothy Blevin's Cake, and the Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Buttercream. It was a good choice for lunch although if I go back I will just get the cake that I really liked out of the 3. Maybe next time also I will try the chicken salad croissant and the chicken velvet soup. I think my experience will be better next time outside of a big group. My favorite cake of the 3 was the Dorothy Blevin's Cake as it was unique with a denser texture than the others and it had pecans, pineapple, and a caramel topping. I thought the almond cake was a bit cloyingly sweet and the almond tasted pretty artificial, the chocolate was not chocolate enough for me if that makes sense. Maybe needed to be a little darker chocolate and richer but if you are looking for something lighter that may be your thing. Overall I will go back and try this bakery/cafe again and hopefully will have a better experience and I will order a full lunch next time.

I don't play with donuts. I'm a donut-eating fool. Donuts are my thing. I have glaze running through my bloodstream. I've never eaten better donuts than the ones I got from Concannon's in Muncie. In fact, I'm planning another trip to Muncie JUST to visit Concannon's and get some donuts. What's a two-hour round-trip drive when you can be rewarded with amazing donuts during your journey? I visited Concannon's by myself, and although I wanted one of each of the donuts they had in the bakery case, I limited myself to three donuts: a glazed pretzel-shaped yeasted donut, a blueberry cake donut and an old fashioned donut. My go-to at any donut shop is usually a glazed twist, but they don't have glazed twists here! Instead, they have a glazed pretzel-shaped donut, which turned out to have all of the elements of a glazed twist, but it was just bigger and more twisty. It was amazing, pillowy, slightly sweet and even more delicious when you pull it apart with your fingers and eat it bit by bit. The blueberry cake and old-fashioned donuts were my favorites, though. These melted in my mouth, especially the old-fashioned. It was so tender and fresh. The old-fashioned is one of those kinds of donuts that I wish I enjoyed with some coffee, but instead, I ate it solo while dancing around delightedly in my hotel room. Concannon's has lots of other sweets, desserts and baked goods, like cakes (including mini cakes and individual cake slices), cookies, whoopie pies, chocolates, popcorn, candies and all sorts of other goodies. There is also a cafe with coffee and other beverages available. This is a must-visit if, like me, you love donuts, but also a must-visit in general because it's such a Muncie institution.
