I normally receive great service, which is why this particular visit was a little disappointing. Today, my daughter and I came in to enjoy happy hour and spend some time together. We ordered the house salad, fried zucchini, six wings, and two lemon drop shots. Our salad and fried zucchini came out pretty quickly, and everything was going well at first. After about 20 minutes, I asked our server about the wings because we were already getting close to finishing the rest of our food. He told us the wings normally take about 15 minutes, but we had already been waiting longer than that. Another 20 minutes or so passed before the wings finally arrived. By that point, we had completely finished our salad and fried zucchini and had moved the empty dishes to the side. Unfortunately, when we picked up the wings, they were very cold. It seemed as though they may have been sitting in the kitchen for some time before being brought to our table. We let our server know, and he offered to have them refired. We considered it, but after waiting approximately 40 minutes, we were ready to leave and didn't want to wait even longer. He also asked whether I wanted them taken off the bill, but I decided to just have them packed to go. I do feel the situation could have been handled a little better from a customer-service standpoint. After waiting that long for food that arrived cold, I would have appreciated a little more effort to make the situation right, even if it was simply offering a discount or checking on the order sooner. I understand that happy hour can get busy, and I'm very understanding when a restaurant is crowded. However, checking back on delayed orders and making sure food is delivered while it's still hot can make a huge difference in the customer experience. This experience will not stop me from coming back because I have had many good experiences at Roxanne's. I really do enjoy this restaurant. I was just disappointed with how things went today, and I hope this feedback helps improve the experience during busy happy-hour times in the future.

They had tons of unique flavor options here and I definitely would love to come back to try some cold ones with some pizza. Their fruity options were pretty popular with my work group. Their Jollibeer (inspired by the Peach and Mango pies at Jollibee) was a lager with mango and peach puree. The beers I had were crisp, full flavored, and ice cold. Perfect at the end of a work week! It's really nice that they have a nice space in the back to host a group of two or a group of twenty. This is a great pillar in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood.

My friend and I were shocked. I described the situation and exactly what I said. The food being mishandled and then being falsely accused of using a slur, such a wild and awkward experience. I noticed Ambitious Ales now provides a disclaimer when ordering from Thunderbolt via QR code. Now it all makes sense. Regardless, you can't have restaurant managers coming over to your business and making wild accusations. Completely unacceptable.
