Since it was a Sun. night, I walked in, and there was probably 6 people in there. I ordered a beer, and had quite an interesting convo with one of the locals. I won't bore y'all w/ the details. At least, we were civil and our talk was based mostly on facts. I think we're pretty typical of most Gen-Xers. Ugh. My five star dive was bought from the brothers to the bros. A Naples resident for most of 1992-2015, I've seen this third oldest bar go through some changes, but my last visit Thanksgiving weekend was bad: the cheesy lcd light strip below the mirror wall brightens the place up, losing the dark and dank feel that defined it's nights. And the girly music was so loud my family had to scream into each other's ears to be heard. As an institution, a convenient Naples mainstay, and as an old LBC guy bar during the day (Crow's is to Joe Josts as Scar is to Mufasa), Crow's will always be a favorite bar, especially with the awesome crew and stuff drinks, but the bright light and loud music at night scares me away. Small bar located on second street on Naples island. They have a lot of good deals on game days and they have nice personnel. They have a lot of different alcohol choices and even top shelf stuff is decently priced. I have been here a few times and it is an ok place to go too. Also at this place there are a lot of locals and it is kind of dark inside so it has the feeling of a dive bar. The place is always kept clean and it gets a bit empty up until closer to midnight. "When we were younger", my friends and I spent a lot of weekends on Second Street and its vicinity. I had not visited "Crow's Cocktails" in about ten years. On this occasion, I used it as a place to meet friends, before we went on check out the changes that have taken place on Second Street. When I arrived, I noticed the sandwich sign stating that ownership and management had changed--but it was still "vintage Crow's". The fact is that nothing has really changed since my last visit. The place has a decent number of TV screens for entertainment. They have TouchTunes for music. The room layout is the same. Drink prices are still really reasonable. I guess with all of the changes on Second Street, it's kind of comforting to see that Crow's hasn't. read more

It's got a New York feel, with food service decent security and easy access to great service. Located of the Naples canal this is a wonderful nights get away from the hustle and bustle of DTLB and around the corner from Seal Beach, Horn Corner @ Bayshore with a score of great restaurants, pizzerias, shopping and knock knack shops off 2nd Ave to the west and well to do shopping to the east at PCH and 2nd. I had gone in there and didn't see my absolute favorite duo; Courtney and Tiffany! I was so disappointed to know Courtney had left. These two just made things so much more fun! The dynamic duo! Visited Naples Island during Labor Day Weekend. At 10pm The Abby was closed , Ballast Point wasn't letting others in and O'Malley's was packed. We dove on in to this Dive Bar and ordered their Moscow Mule and Twisted Mai Tai. It was busy this weekend so tabletops/ space at the bar were a little slow to open up, the front patio was closed the nights we came in, so it felt like more people were inside than should be, with the loud music, getting bumped into, the front and back doors closed, we opted to leave and come back to hope it would thin out. The place looks niceee, a new jukebox in the back with accent lights along the bar, staff is very attentive and walking around checking on all their locals. I saw J. picking up peels and bussing tables to make room for everyone. TV's were on odd channels, sport center on most and one on a nature doc of animals mating. lol. Overall, drinks were strong enough and taste just right, they keep good shelves of liquor, asking which kind of vodka I preferred, which I appreciate! The new Crows is the perfect blend between Cheers and a lounge. I really feel like I'm coming to see friends when I come here. The staff are friendly and really get to know you. It's been a while since I came to Crows as soon as I walked in I was impressed they renovated the place looks amazing. I always remember there bartenders being nice but Tiffany was awesome made me feel like I was a regular again. Non competitive prices, extremely cramped. What's not to love? Maybe the horrible service? The tall brunette is the worst, slowest and most incompetent bartender I've ever seen. Can't get a drink right and flies off the handle for you mentioning hey, this should have pineapple, not grapefruit. Can't keep track of who has an open tab without screaming at them for 'stealing' in between shots with neighborhood drunks that put their foot in the urinal. It does have a jukebox. What I like most about Crow's are the dirty old men that can be found pretty much at any given hour, keeping the bar stools warm... sipping Chivas on the rocks while their eyes linger (until caught) at the +2's on the Cougars on the prowl... the Cougars, who make no bones about it, mang - they want their racks noticed... after all... they're like fine wine... and the perkiness of the bust signifies the Year and if it's Good and Drinkable... I hate crows and am most embarrassed every time I go in there because I run into 1) middle school classmates, 2) cougars, and 3) old alcoholics. So of course that begs that question: why do you do in there then? To be honest, because it's the closest, non-beach bum, bar in Long Beach where I can sit and have a chat with friends. If this place existed in LA where I have better choices, I would never go there. As a matter of fact, I rarely go in there even when I am in Long Beach, but my friend Kenny loves it so we go there sometimes. Crows is the epitome of dive bars where you find the local trash. The drinks are so powerful and potent that I gag every time I take a sip. The music plays from a jukebox in the back. On Friday and Saturday night, it's not so bad because some Long Beach young people will venture in when Gaslamp closes, but on weekdays, expect to find the loneliest drunks in town all huddled over the bar with "my women flew away with another man and took my fortune with them" stories. Why do I go there occasionally? Cause I guess I am masochistic and like to torture my own soul. If you've never been there, don't start going. It's better for your life not to ever have gone into crows. If you're interested in studying alcoholism as its pertains to old age and bitterness, by all means, go there and hang out. I go to Crow's to enjoy a stiff drink, embrace my inner wallflower, and just people watch. It's like watching the best that reality tv has to offer: Real Housewives, The Cougar, The Player, and maybe a little bit of Animal Planet. Something about Crow's dive bar atmosphere draws an incredibly varied crowd. The dimly lit, narrow room with its neon lit bar is usually packed on a Saturday night, the juke box blaring oldies over an increasingly rowdy throng of people. You'll never fail in finding something interesting to watch whether it be some ladies letting loose during a break from the kids, an old blind guy telling his life story, or the the mating ritual of the he-cougar and she-cougar, which is truly an incredible thing to behold. In my experience, cougars of any variety are to be strictly avoided. We spent a lot of time avoiding eye contact with he-cougars. After accidentally entering a she-cougar's territory, she death-glared me and almost imperceptibly snarled. Oh believe me, I backed down. I'm not one to get into an altercation with a she-cougar. I'd lose. The drinks - cheap and strong, the service - brusque but prompt, the company - always entertaining. Overall, I don't need to join the fray, I'm content with the sidelines. read more

Don't expect your cocktails to taste like they are supposed to and some of the bartenders are very rude; prices for the drinks are also not cheap. My friend ordered whiskey on the rocks and a lemon drop martini the lemon drop martini tasted nothing like lemon AND the whiskey taste like rubbing alcohol over ice; the bartender would not make another one she stated we would need to pay for it even though we didn't drink it; it was unpalatable- not going back mostly bc of the lack of customer service; Too many other cool places to go to to waste my time there. read more
