I love Tiff's Treats. However , the last time I ordered and picked up from the store on Research it seemed like the cookies were not finished baking. I recently saw on my Next Door app(the neighborhood app) that others felt the same way. Someone posted asking where to buy the best chocolate chip cookies, many said not Tiff's Treats as they are not fully baked. I was surprised to see this as I have always loved Tiff's Treats but agreed with my neighbors on this last order. I am writing this as I want to order the cookies again and change my neighbors minds. Careless delivery and terrible customer service. On 10:30 am, Saturday, February 20, 2021, a bag of Tiff's Treats was delivered to my door with someone else's name on it. (No address on it, just the name of someone I didn't know.) The delivery person had just dropped it off and knocked on the door; when I opened the door, the delivery person was nowhere to be seen, so I couldn't give the package back to him/her. I went online to the main website, but Tiff's did not have a telephone number to call anywhere on the site, including in the "Contact Us" section. Why not? So I left an e-mail with my phone number telling them what had happened. As of 8 pm Saturday night, no return call. I then looked up a couple of the individual Austin locations online and called two different numbers. Each time, I had to listen to a lengthy message and was then put on hold for over 10 minutes. No one ever answered. I feel bad for the person who was supposed to get a nice treat today. Tiff's definitely needs to train their delivery people better AND have someone paying attention to calls and mails. read more

I live less than 10 minutes away. While the flavor of the double chocolate mint is still in my mouth, I can provide an updated review on Tiff's Treats. The very first batch ever received must have been a really bad one, probably by accident. Today, however, just about everything hits the spot. I placed an order for a few dozen cookies to be delivered to our work. The process was friendly and painless. After arriving on time, I had to try the snickerdoodle and the seasonal cookie. All of the cookies were surprisingly warm. Never had a warm Tiff's cookie. After trying the snickerdoodle again, it was pretty good. Still not the absolute best but a HUGE step up from the first Tiff experience. The double chocolate mint delivers to its name. I'm a fan because, to be honest, if this was my very first Tiff experience, I'd say these guys are dishing up some legit cookies and service, so I definitely give them credit for being awesome. It may be because the cookies were actually warm and actually fresh fresh this time. Who knows? But it worked. The cookie monster had it right y'all. Cookies are indispensable. I've always loved the story of Tiff's Treats (dorm room to multiple brick & mortars.) The part I love the most about it is that they've been able to retain the quality and the local feel while growing. That's a damn tough thing to do and they pull it off with aplomb. You can pick it up (which I did) or get it delivered. You can do it the same day too. So around 2pm on Monday I realized I should bring some sweet treats to our Community Manager Appreciation Day. By 3:45 same day I was driving around trying to avoid stuffing my hand under the box lid to fish out whatever was making my car smell like heaven. I've been holding off on writing my review for Tiff's Treats hoping that they will somehow screw up an order so I wouldn't have to give them 5 stars. But no. Not once ever have they effed up. Every bite is better than the next. That's so annoying. Their delivery system is awesome! Everything arrives hot, and I mean like out of the damn oven HOT! Wtf, how do you guys do it? Does your van have a built in oven that doesn't start baking until your en route to your destination???? Tell me your secret, I must know! The brownies are the gooey and fudgey kind. When you bite into it you can't help but get globs of chocolate all over your mouth, or in my case, on my nose. The cookies have a perfect chocolate chip to dough ratio. They're ubber soft and chewy. They last about 2 days (not refrigerated) before hardening. I've been desperately searching to find flaws with this establishment, but I just can't. I give up Tiff, you win. Just opened today! I got in line at 8:40am for the 9:00am opening to take advantage of the $2/dozen cookies special. Ten dozen chocolate chip cookies for twenty freakin' bucks! What an amazing offer! These tasty little darlings are for friends, co-workers and the two cookie monsters who live with me. Just smelling them in the car was enough. Tiff's cookies are packaged warm right out of the oven in a white box adorned with a colorful ribbon. All proceeds raised today will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. A fantastic deal for a wonderful cause. A special plus was my Tobi D. sighting about 8 people behind me. (Tobi, I miss you!) We had a quick reunion and then I had to leave. There's really no excuse for Tiff's Treats not putting nutritional information on its website. The website says "Unfortunately, at this time we do not have this information. However, the most frequently asked question is in regards to Trans Fats." I call BS. People want to know how many calories are in their guilty pleasure, and Tiff's Treats is happy to profit off the 168 calorie listing it somehow got on MyFitnessPal which is almost undoubtedly WAY LOW. Every time I walk in the door,I get that whiff of sweet buttery vanilla and sugar. It's quite perfect, especially after a rewarding or absolutely depressing day. It's quite the alluring proposition. Often, on my way home, I would stop by for a cookie, an ice cream sandwich, a happy sugary ending. The staff have always been so nice. So accommodating with my demands. So happy to oblige. I have liked Tiff's Treats for years, and I was one of the few who used to buy cookies at 2:00 AM at their Sixth Street booth. Everything about this place is great - except for one thing. You can go into the supermarket and buy a package of 24 Nestle (or other brands) ready to bake cookies for $2. 10 minutes of baking and you have cookies that are just as good as these (which are $9 per dozen). The wonders of modern innovation... The service was excellent, the box is nice, and they prepare hot cookies for you with 30 minutes notice. If you're not getting them hot, then don't bother. Tiff's Treats are pretty standard fare and I completely agree with Dan A. who said they compare to grocery store dough baked at home. As I've matured into a 30-something, I now prefer a more complex cookie. It's no longer the sugar craving I desire, it's...... appreciation. Give me a serious cookie I can sink my teeth into and I'll give you 5 stars. One chock full of flavorful and interesting ingredients like high quality dark chocolate chips, dried blueberries, chickpeas, unsweetened flaked coconut and toasted chopped pecans- mixed all in one cookie and baked so it's crispy on the outside and still chewy in the middle. Tiff's would've been a 3-star for me because of the exorbitant prices ($1 a cookie and $5 for a birthday bumper sticker on your box??), but then I experienced their STELLAR customer service. I ordered some cookies for a special someone and said I would pick them up precisely at 2:15 p.m. Then Austin traffic happened and I didn't get to Tiff's until 2:35. The guy at the counter refused to give me the cold cookies and insisted that they bake me a fresh batch. I'll pay 5x more than a cookie is worth for service like that any day. Some notes: -Use online ordering! It's quick and easy and less embarrassing for people like me who like 11 different types of cookies in their dozen. -Each cookie has 168 calories, which is actually not bad for such a greasy little disk of deliciousness. -If you want to make someone in Austin reallyyyyy happy, order them Tiff's! read more

The other flavor options (especially white chocolate chip, m&m, and sugar) are mostly just average, but a snickerdoodle like Tiff's is a rare treat in a world where too many people skate by with crunchy and crumbly. If I can't have a snickerdoodle so thick and soft it borders on a little ball of cinnamon velvet, I'll take the next best thing: warm and gooey. Placed an order yesterday around 1 pm I expected to get my treats only to find out the driver could not find the address. They called me I gave them the right directions still driver could not find address. So I got a call from the manager letting me know they could not find the address, instead of sending someone back to delivery I was give a number to call so they can send someone else out to delivery cookies and it would take another 1 or more. Needless to say the lady from customer service was horrible I ask to speak to someone over her and of course it was a round around. So something was super wrong with the product unless my taste buds were totally messed up. I was in the area and was craving something sweet. I yelped few options and tiff treats came up on top as it was the closest to my location. Plus I have heard a lot about this place in general. So I thought I would give it a try. Located in a very weird looking strip center. I almost passed it while driving on research. Anyhow I go in and ordered tiffwich from the menu. Guy asked me what type of cookie and I said M&M. Within no time he prepared my treat and I was on my way. My first bite and I could tell something wasn't right. Cookie was super bitter. I took few more bites and it was just bitter. I am not a native Texan, and my coworkers were shocked when I informed them I had never heard of Tiff's Treats. I was HOOKED when I took my first bite of an amazingly warm cookie. This place definitely lives up to the hype, every cookie tastes like you made it at home rather than a frozen corporate product bought elsewhere. Tonight I decided to surprise my boyfriend with one and a half a dozen cookies. He had never tried anything from Tiff's so I was excited to expand his horizons. I ordered chocolate chip, m&m and snickerdoodle and he was impressed with how warm the box was. He immediately fell in love with the chocolate chip. Maybe they aren't the most amazing cookies you'll ever eat, but they are darn good, and the happiness they bring to our employees is very apparent. Every time I bite into a cookie from Tiff's Treats I am overcome with jealousy. Why didn't I think of this idea first!? Nevertheless, I don't know that I could have done it as well as they have. Having lived on campus during part of my undergrad, I had these constantly. They were offered at every meeting, study session and get together. For special holidays they have special delivery boxes. They also can deliver amazing brownies. You also have the option of including a half pint of blue bell with your package.
