I had a dress dry cleaned which cost me a total of $50.06 after tax. My first time experience was the same as my second. This woman had a very mean mug on her face ... she asked me questions I didn't know the answer too as I'm not familiar with clothing products & how they're supposed to be washed and became frustrated with me. I decided that it would be best to leave the dress there as I needed it for an event the following weekend. Upon pickup I was greeted by a different woman who was much more bubbly, kind, and made me feel like a welcome customer. I paid, analyzed the dress and was super happy. I decided to leave the bad taste of the woman behind as I understand people have their days.. I went in again as I needed two shirts dry cleaned.. I was again greeted by the woman with the mug on her face, I kindly asked how much it would cost me to have the shirts dry cleaned and she told me $28 a piece, I was fine with that but she was demanding that I now pay upfront... (I was in a different car so I didn't have my wallet - fully aware that's my fault.) I began to mention how I had just recently gotten dress dry cleaned and that I could pay upon pickup and she because super aggressive stating that if "I can't afford to pay now there will be no service." I kindly grabbed my shirts and left. I had no problem running home grabbing my wallet and returning but after being spoken too like that I decided I didn't wanna spend my money here again. It saddens me that all it takes is one bad apple to ruin the whole experience.

I brought blackout-lined linen drapes to EcoClean Austin for professional cleaning. The drapes…read moreoriginally cost approximately $733 and were sent in specifically for dry cleaning. After the service, the linen face fabric had shrunk significantly (approximately 5" in length and 3" in width per panel). The shrinkage was severe enough that the blackout liner now extends below and beyond the face fabric across multiple panels, making the drapes unusable as intended. After I raised the issue, I was told by the manager via voicemail that the drapes were "washed," despite them being submitted for dry cleaning. EcoClean offered only a refund of the cleaning fee and maintained that their employee followed proper procedure. I was also told that if the drapes meant so much to me, I should not have brought them in and agreed to the waiver. The representative additionally shared a personal story about shrinking their own drapes during the conversation, which felt dismissive given the extent of the damage. I understand textile cleaning carries some risk, and I expected that going in. However, this level of shrinkage on blackout-lined linen drapes--combined with the mismatch between requested dry cleaning and what was communicated afterward--is something I would want other customers with specialty window treatments to be aware of before using this service.

Even their own in store employees agreed it was shrunk and looked awful. Management gave me the run around for 3 weeks having me drop off, then pick up then drop off again the items swearing they'd make it right, only for their "in house tailor" to say the items didn't seem shrunk. Been coming here 3+ years and then this happens. Do not use this dry cleaner as they're dishonest, will ruin your expensive items and then promise you customer service and give you the run around before finally admitting they won't help you. Look at the other reviews for locations and you'll see similar stories. Unfortunately this dry cleaning chain is dishonest, will ruin expensive items you trusted them with and then tell you they can't help. If you at all value your high end items, don't take anything here unless you're okay being jerked around and potentially having your items be shrunk, damaged beyond repair.

I would not recommend Press Cleaners and feel strongly that their business model is misleading…read more Summary: Press Cleaners charges a premium for a service they do not actually provide, offers poor customer support, and returned my wedding dress completely uncleaned after missed deliveries and multiple communication failures. I scheduled dry cleaning for my wedding dress and clearly indicated that it was a wedding dress, included care instructions, and noted specific areas with stains that needed attention. From the start, communication was a problem. I attempted to contact customer service to update pickup instructions and received no response. I reached out again with questions about delivery timing once the cleaning was complete, and again received no response. My delivery was delayed by a full day, and the original delivery time window I selected was not honored for the new day. Since no one would be home during the updated window, I contacted customer service yet again and still received no reply. Eventually, a customer service agent called me to say they were unable to remove the stains and would issue a partial store credit. During that call, I asked about the updated delivery time and was told they did not know. At that point, the new delivery window had already passed and my dress still had not arrived. The agent was not even aware that my order had not been delivered and could not tell me where my dress was. When I asked what methods were used to clean the dress or what attempts had been made to remove the stains, the agent had no information at all. It became clear that Press completely outsources everything. The dry cleaning, pickup, and delivery are all handled by local cleaners. Press is simply an app and a customer service layer, and even that is poorly managed since they have no visibility into the status, location, or care of your items. When my dress was finally delivered, it came with the bag and receipt from the local dry cleaner. That receipt showed a price that was roughly one quarter of what I paid Press. The local cleaner's receipt also included pickup and delivery, which made it very unclear what I was actually paying Press for. Press was unable to assist me at any point in the process. The dress arrived in the exact same condition it was picked up in. The stains were still there, with no improvement at all. I honestly believe no one attempted to clean it. Afterward, we used baby wipes at home and were able to remove the stains on the first attempt, which made this even more frustrating. Customer service was a poor experience as well. The agent was rude, frequently interrupted me, and was argumentative rather than helpful. I only received a refund after stating that I would dispute the charge. In short, you are paying about four times the price for a service that provides no added value. The cleaning, pickup, and delivery are all handled by another company, and Press offers no meaningful oversight, accountability, or support. I would absolutely not use this business again.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever received…read more I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so bad that people should know... I brought several garments to Press Cleaners in Austin specifically for dry cleaning. Instead, they were washed and folded, which is not what I requested and not appropriate for these items. As a result, three garments were ruined. When I raised the issue, I got a completely inconsistent and frustrating response: First, they said their policy was to re-dry clean everything. When they did reschedule to pick my clothing up, they were 3 hours behind schedule and I had to re-alert them of this. Then they called back and said they would wash and fold again except for 4 of the garments (which makes no sense given the problem). Then they accused me of having worn the garments--I had not worn any of them. After that, they claimed the items had been dry cleaned by another vendor--which is simply untrue, as they had clearly not been properly treated at all. At every step, the responsibility was deflected back onto me instead of being acknowledged. In the end, they refused to refund me and are returning my clothes still ruined and not dry cleaned nor fixed. This wasn't just a mistake, it was poor service compounded by misinformation and blame-shifting. Do not ever work with them if you value your clothing and basic customer service.

PSA BRIDES: I strongly recommend against taking your wedding dress here for cleaning…read more I dropped off my wedding dress in September 2025 and paid $350 for cleaning. I was told it would be ready for pickup in November. After following up in December, I was told they needed a few additional weeks due to extra cleaning required. As mid-January 2026 approached, I reached out again for an update and contacted them 4 separate times with no response. I eventually went to the store in person, where they told me it would be "a few more weeks." In February 2026, I finally picked up my dress -- and it had the exact same stains as when I dropped it off, plus new rust stains that were not there before. I immediately pointed this out. The cashier told me, "it's because you only paid for cleaning." I responded that the dress clearly wasn't clean and I didn't understand how it could look worse after being in their possession for nearly five months. I was then brushed off so they could help the next customer, denied a refund, and not allowed to speak with a supervisor. Terrible experience. Please learn from my mistake and avoid this business. Based on other reviews, I'm clearly not the only one who has had issues with their poor service and communication.

Have you ever had your dry cleaner steal a wedding dress? Have you ever had to sue them to get it…read moreback? That's exactly what happened to my wife and I. More than a year after this business stole, destroyed, or lost my wife's wedding dress, valued at a four-figure amount, we won the small claims case against them. Of course they have not paid, but that's okay. Interested accrues on a monthly basis. I'm here to make it easier for you to get your property money back when they inevitably steal from you as well! This business is shielded behind its real name Waterloo Cleaners, Inc, based out of Dallas. It's purposefully hard to find who owns it because they make it a habit to steal from and defraud their customers. Their business records are out of date almost everywhere - illegal by the way, but no one seems to care because Texas. But it is owned by Kevin Gary Bonfield and Mark Hess. This is all the key information you need to know to file a small claims case. You will want to find their out-of-date registered agent with the secretary of state to serve them the lawsuit. It will not work. Have the secretary of state certify your effort, and that's good enough to move forward with the lawsuit. They have some useless managers working for them who will pay lip service and yank your chain. Don't bother with them at all. It's a waste of your time. Their frontline employees know even less. If you check these reviews carefully - as well as Yelp and BBB - you'll see that these people have a long history of destroying, damaging, and stealing from their customers, especially wedding attire and expensive items. If we lived in a state that gave a crap about consumers, they would have been run out of it by now or tossed into the Gulf. Alas, we live in Texas, and they take full advantage of that, at your expense as a consumer. If you have a garment that's worth more than $10, I advise you to stay very, very, very far away from this business. If, on the other hand, you do business with them and enjoy small claims court - keep every receipt and communication you get. You will need it for the legal battle that will come later. I wonder how much they have stolen from their customers? I suppose we may never know. I just advise you not to become another one of us.

I was searching online for a fluff and fold laundry service for a short term rental…read moreproperty that I help my daughter manage, ideally one that did pick up and delivery. When I went on The Laundry Spot's website I saw that they offered this service so figured I'd give them a try. I had a few questions so I called the number listed on the home page of the website, and the woman who answered referred me to another number for the pick up and delivery service which turned out is also listed if you click on the "delivery" link. I got an answering service and left my contact info and within minutes, James the owner called back and answered my questions and walked me through the process of setting up an account so that I could do the online scheduling myself. There were 3 convenient windows of times to select from for both pick up and delivery so I scheduled pick up between 8am-11am on Tuesday and delivery during that same timeframe the next day. I got a text a minute or so prior to them arriving both times and they were both within the scheduled timeframes. Since the home was unoccupied those days, I was able to text them the temporary door code I set up remotely and allow them to pick up and drop off inside in the entry way. The laundry consisted of two full sets of bedding, several towels dish towels, etc. All came back perfectly clean and nicely folded. Online I was able to select the type of soap (or even provide my own if desired), optional softeners, and add any specific instructions such as cold water, gentle cycle etc. I am so thrilled to have found this service! Since I'm a big fan of USEFUL technology, I'm very happy that I can do all of the scheduling from my smart phone, including paying the invoice. I was initially apprehensive about providing my credit card info and wanted to be sure the info was encrypted and secure. The owner, James, patiently explained to me that he's partnered with a few different technology platforms in order to make it possible to do all of this online, so it's all very secure and tested. One thing to note: because of the way the various platforms are linked, you see different URLs when you schedule versus looking at your account versus payment, but after it's set up it's a piece of cake. And best of all, the laundry comes back beautifully clean and nicely folded without me having to do a thing (I have back problems) so this is a wonderful solution for me. And the pricing is incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend trying this laundry service and supporting a great local Austin business!
