    Saint Saint-Tropez Latte

This place rocked. Was on a mission to find a coffee place to pull my laptop out and work for a bit and this place was the perfect vibe. Coffee was great - got the Saint tropez latte. Drink came out so quickly and the staff was very friendly.

Was disappointed in the matcha quality here. Very sub par which is unfortunate because they had pretty good reviews on their matcha. It was too milky and couldn't even taste the matcha so you're just paying to drink milk.

matcha sour: this was my first time trying a sour and it was pretty palatable for such a drink out of my normal flavors. It tasted sour but balanced the matcha was not overbearing, the drink was not sweet, it was overall really thoughtfully made + if u order any alcoholic drink u can get a free shot! hot uji matcha: it's really difficult to make an unsweetened matcha taste good, i feel like they had to be using a good quality matcha bc that drink was really nice in my opinion, the froth at the top- to me was perfect (i ordered all drinks as they came with no adjustments) service: i don't know the name of the bartender/barista but he was super sweet, super kind, and super friendly. great vibes throughout ambiance: the ambiance to me was perfect, great mix of people hanging out, studying, or just passing by. the vibes were great i would come back fs

You would think a cafe that's known for matcha that makes up most of their menu would have good matcha... I came here with two of my friends and all three of us agreed the drinks were very average. It mostly tastes like milk with barely any matcha flavor. I had to put in a good amount of syrup to make the drink a bit more flavorful. It was also around $9 per drink which is pretty expensive for the quality you get. The cashier was nice and the drinks came out quick though. There isn't a lot of seating and a handful of people were hogging up the tables with their laptop as they finished their drink a while ago. Definitely go somewhere else for matcha.

Cute place for a dessert! I went here on a date recently and we got the kinder croissant. Even though we struggled in putting our fork in it, it was very flavorful and delightful!

What a charming little spot for coffee, tea, and even cocktails! I popped in this morning for a quick pick-me-up and ordered the Kaori Matcha Latte. It has a lighter touch compared to Uji matcha (which comes from the birthplace of matcha), but still delivers that rich, premium flavor. The fragrance was incredible--balanced and smooth, not overpowering at all. They also offer a tempting variety of pastries that pair perfectly with their drinks. I'll definitely be back to try the Uji Matcha next time!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this spot. We just went for a second time on our 3 day trip and I just had to buy the beans and take them home with me! Both times I've gotten the Taro latte, which you may not easily see on the menu at the shop, but I had seen it on media outlets and knew I had to get it! The taro which naturally sweet which was great because the latte didn't require anymore added sweetness. My partner got the Provence latte which was espresso, oat milk, and lavender... Truly the best tasting lavender I've ever had. Between the notes of the beans bursting of flavor and the floral notes of the lavender, it was a great buy. They also have matcha and seasonal drinks which seem to rotate so maybe keeping up on their social media's will be helpful before going. It is a pretty small space of a shop so expect to take yours to go or snag a seat at one of the few tables.

While delicious, this ice to liquid ratio is truly criminal for the cost of a large cold brew. Such a bummer!

While absolutely delicious, this ratio of ice to cold brew is criminal for the price.

    kinmokusei latte
    Sophia W.

The kinomokusei matcha latte was very creamy, and its strong matcha taste was just what I was looking for. The staff are friendly, and the drinks come out fast. This cafe is great to study in, at least during the daytime. It's pretty quiet, with a few tables.

    Cecilia L.

Drinks 4.5/5 (gotta know what to get) Ambience 4/5 (a little too tiny but cute & cozy) Such a cute cafe and idea to have both cafe drinks and alcoholic drinks! It's such a cute and cozy place to hang around but it is quite small with limited seating. And I love places with unique drink options and they def have that here! Chaplin Charlie 5/5: recommended by the bartender and it was an amazing reco for someone that likes something sour/ tart. Almost like a sour starburst Jasmine martini 2/5: sounds great and all but kinda just taste like alcoholic tea - this was quite bland Soiree spritz 3.5/5: kinda tasted watered down so not too big of a fan Espresso martini 5/5: strong and tasty - packs a punch And love that you get a free shot when you get a cocktail!!

A must visit and hidden gem!

I cannot give enough kudos to Thē Soirēe. Once again, they came through with a unique beverage and an ambiance that is relaxing and welcoming. The service is award winning and the artistry that is created is impressive. Once again, I ordered my favorite...the Kinmokusei Latte. I appreciate how it was served with an optimal temperature and it was delightfully enjoyed. If you would prefer an alcoholic libation, Soirēe will gladly oblige. The same goes with sweets and pastries. They've managed to cover all of the bases and they do it exceptionally. Thē Soirēe will continue to be my favorite cafe and thank you, Soirēe, for having late closing times on Fridays and Saturdays, in order to enjoy an after theater treat.

The first time I went here I got a latte and it was awful. I never thought I'd go back. Then my neighbor convinced me to get a coffee here with him one morning recently so I gave it another shot. To my surprise, a basic matcha latte was well made. Maybe just the fancy lattes are too much. The service is great and it's a cute little spot. Apparently they do cocktails also!

    Alexis S.

I've been here a couple times and really enjoy this coffee shop. It's quaint and has great coffee and matcha drinks to choose from, alongside pastries. They also serve cocktails, if that's what you're in the mood for. The service is friendly and my matcha was quite delicious. There are a few tables to sit at as well as bar seats, and it's a quiet enough atmosphere to get some work done or read a book. Would definitely recommend if in the neighborhood!

Checking it out for the first time : )

I was warmly greeted by the gentleman at the door (5 service there), which set a great first impression. However, as soon as I walked downstairs, it felt like the space had lost its speakeasy vibe. I was seated right near the stairs and could feel cold air from outside every time the door opened, which made the experience uncomfortable. I was also surprised to see how much the cocktail menu had been reduced. When I asked about it, the response was that "the place changed a lot." That's fair -- places evolve -- but instead of highlighting the improvements or new strengths, the explanation focused negatively on what the bar used to be. As someone who really enjoyed the former version, that wasn't reassuring. Unfortunately, the drinks themselves didn't make up for it. One of the two cocktails was simply not good. No one came back to check on the drinks, and when I asked for the check after about 20 minutes, there was no acknowledgment that I had barely touched mine or any inquiry about my experience. Overall, a place I once enjoyed and recommended now feels more like a standard dive bar where " Mixologist " were replaced by bartender and were fun cool looking and tasty drinks were replaced by " less complex cocktail ", lacking the warmth and attention to detail that once made it special.

It somehow manages to feel both refined and relaxed at the same time. The kind of place where you half expect to spot Hemingway in the corner pretending not to eavesdrop. We started with half a dozen oysters, which were fresh, briny, and exactly what you want with serious cocktails. Crisp, clean, gone in about three minutes. For drinks, we ordered the Smoke Show and the King Tusk. The Smoke Show was beautifully balanced. The Grey Goose vodka and Dolin Dry gave it that classic martini backbone, but the fino sherry and brine added depth. The smoked olive oil and blue cheese olive brought just enough savory drama without overpowering the glass. It was complex but not fussy. The King Tusk leaned more aromatic and layered. The vermouths gave it richness, while the Buddha's Hand and osmanthus flower added subtle citrus and floral notes that lingered in a really elegant way. It felt like a cocktail designed to be savored slowly. The music fit the mood perfectly, not too loud, just enough to give the room energy without killing conversation. Overall, it's a great spot if you want elevated drinks in a space that feels transportive without being pretentious.
