Cappuccino

Stopped in for a quick cappuccino between shows. Love that it's a little off the beaten path and chaos to catch some more low key time before. Definitely a place for locals. Hipster vibe. Great coffee. Neighborhood feels

Ok amazing! I found this online on my Last day of a work trip and I'm upset. I would've been here every single day if I could've. The almond croissant was to die for. The coffee was perfect. I should've bought some merch. Go here and get away from the crazy of nyc and relax for a second with a good coffee. And amazing staff.

usually places that have adorable aesthetics are sacrificing some of their quality in pursuit of Instagram-ability, but this is not one of those - a tiny little pink and green storefront with two pink tables outside and one table inside - collectively we had a large iced Americano with a little bit of almond milk and two cappuccinos. all got a stamp of approval! - For one their large size is actually large, thank God, and their almond milk isn't just water. it had a slightly nutty flavor and was delicious. - the espresso is robust. it is an intense flavor and not burnt. the cappuccinos were perfectly paired with a strong espresso flavor, creamy milk, and light foamy layer. - the workers were sweet and the drinks were made quickly yet with an actual real quality espresso machine! they have a few fun seasonal drinks but mainly just do the classics well. and for a NORMAL price! - there is a flight where you can sample different origin coffees if you're actually a coffee aficionado!

The meticulous care taken to my drink!

Needed a bit a pick-me-up after a long day watching a show and strolling in the city! Service was fast. This happened to be on the way. Gave the iced cortado with oatmilk a try. Taste was good. For the price, wished there's a bit more drink to it. Finished it instantly. If I'm in the area, would be willing to give it another try!

I was happy to find this spot nearby! I grabbed a chocolate croissant and hot latte. Service was quick & great. FYI as much as I was craving a vanilla latte, they do not carry any flavored syrups!

My Cortado was delicious and the presentation was great. What I loved about this coffee shop. Is they use an almond milk called NUMILK. They allowed me to read the ingredients in the package and it was literally almonds, water, and a small amount of sugar. The cleanest ingredients of any premade type almond milk I've seen. It comes condensed (concentrate) in very small packages and they add water so it's environmentally friendly packaging. I will definitely come back here. The environment was friendly and kind. It wasn't too noisy. Only downside is this is kind of like a basement coffee shop so they do have a big front window, but you're still a little bit below ground.

A little pick me up.

The perfect little coffee shop right outside of our hotel, you bet we hit this place hard while we visited NYC. Friendly service and well made cappuccino's. Thanks for helping us get through our vacation!

I dream of their gluten free cardamom bread. The barista creations are great too. It's a nice spot to grab a cup in Hell's Kitchen.

Espresso was very tasty, good location. However, the barista was rude. If they can fix their attitude, I'll be back.

It came out as a thick piece of deep-fried toast topped with ice cream, boba, caramel popcorn, and strawberries on the side. Not healthy at all, but really good. It's one of those desserts you probably wouldn't get every day, but worth trying at least once. Fun to share and definitely something different from the usual desserts.

They have a water dispenser, two locking bathrooms, and plenty of outlets, so I already have a very positive view of Grace Street as a good place to rest. The food is alright. It's a bit overpriced and the teas are not good quality. However, the desserts are delicious. I usually split a slice of basque cheesecake with my friends. The regular and matcha have both been good in my experience. I don't like chocolate cake, so I haven't tried that variety. I wish the pumpkin was available in the smaller size too! I've tried their boba, and it isn't good. The hot teas are okay but not great. They're pretty much just syrup and milk. I would avoid the drinks and just get the desserts! I haven't personally tried the bingsoo, but I've heard good things. The waffle is alright--all in all, come here to recharge and for the basque cheesecake!

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.

I needed a sweet pick-me-up after missing a train home. While the ice cream flavors looked interesting, I opted for a blue coconut iced matcha latte instead. Aside from the striking visuals, the drink tasted great. There was sweetness from the matcha and the coconut but not super overtly sugary. I also got a box of four donuts. They're a little pricey, but each donut is a pretty hefty ring of chewy glutinous rice flour batter. I had them the following morning, and the donuts still tasted fresh. There was a little bit of oiliness from the frying, but it did not taste off or too greasy. I think this is from the meticulous frying process and good management of the oil. I got the Cookies and Cream, Rose, Lavender, and Pistachios. I loved the Rose and Lavender flavors, especially the lavender which had a solid floral flavor without being perfume-y. I look forward to trying other donuts and sweets from Bear Donut in the future!

The strawberry croissant had fresh strawberries and cream and it was the perfect breakfast after a run in Central Park. The second visit was to take advantage of their BOGO cake slice deal through the rewards app. It's a fun way to explore their cake selection without paying full price. I ordered the Blueberry chiffon cake slice filled with soft cream, topped with blueberry yogurt soft cream and blueberries and the strawberry soft cream cake slice, a vanilla cake filled with soft cream and fresh strawberries, topped with more berries. Service was friendly and the line moved quickly. Prices are typical for midtown NYC, but all the reward app perks make it more reasonable. I will definitely be back to earn more rewards and try more of their pastries.
