The location of madman espresso could not be more prime - it sits between three popular bagel shops, providing such good quality coffee to serve those looking for a good bite and sip - both the latte and Americano were absolutely delicious. the espresso was rich and deep. doesn't taste burnt at all. - it's a pretty large space with seating for probably 15 people. it was quiet and the drinks were out quickly. - they have pistachio milk and macadamia milk, which I thought was super fun. I am not a fan of upcharges for alternative milks but at least they didn't charge me for a splash of almond milk in the Americano.

Outlets are well spaced out given the seating structure. The tables by the front windows are super cute. There is wifi but it's not advertised and you wouldn't know it unless you asked (which is good because there's fast turnaround). Of course, make sure to buy something! Music isn't too loud, good vibes all around. This feels like a hidden gem to get work done. Only thing is the lack of bathroom, which many mentioned. Temp is good but the door needs to keep being closed manually, otherwise it gets drafty. Very clean, fast service. I didn't realize the food is different at each location--this one doesn't have any of the bagel/egg options, but I did get a focaccia sandwich (truffle shuffle) for $9.50. Barista offered to heat it up, but it was not very warm, which I didn't mind. Still yummy. Also got the principessa, which I loved. Not scalding, perfect ratio of flavoring that wasn't too overpowering/syrupy. Interested in trying all their other drinks, and the pastries also look delicious.

Loved the coffee here! The service wasn't super friendly but I think that's just New York for ya, baby. I got the Madmancino iced and it was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in the city

Found the theme of this spot humorous and enjoyed their creative drinks. I appreciated that they provide seating as that's not something easy to find in this area. We ordered a Carmelisa and a Vanillaria, and both were decent lattes. They use Monin brand syrups, not sure about the espresso beans. Staff were kind, cozy warm cafe vibes on a cold day, simple and enjoyable espresso drinks.

The space is edgy, bordering on freeform madness and I love it. They have a classic and signature menu. I have to admit I may have ordered the wrong drink as I got a matcha when clearly the name of this shop should have prompted me to order an espresso, but I was on espresso overload trying out a couple of other places earlier. The matcha is deep so that is good. Definitely worth a try. Casual. Indoor seating. Please come and create your own experience.

Is a great spot to enjoy quality coffee in the heart of Midtown. The atmosphere is modern and welcoming, perfect for a quick break or getting some work done. The espresso is rich and well-crafted, and they also offer fresh options for breakfast or a light lunch. A solid stop if you're near Penn Station or exploring the area.

Ordered a caramellisa - espresso, caramel and sea salt. Asked them to go light on the caramel and it was damn near perfect. Best coffee I've had in the city in a long while. Fantastic .

The ambiance is amazing, it's a cute little coffee shop with plenty of seating for a small place. I ordered the princepessa special, it was white chocolate with raspberry, 2% milk, and double espresso. I ordered it lukewarm and it came hot so it wasn't the best when I first tried it but once I started walking in the street, it cooled down and was perfect. Nice level of sweetness, you can clearly taste the raspberry. I should've mixed it around more because the white chocolate syrup was heavy towards the bottom of my drink but it was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting midtown!

While there was nothing necessarily bad about this place it just did not meet the mark. The menu had many unique sounding specials so maybe those tast better! The matcha was not strong at all and tasted mostly like milk. I did get some extra powder added when I expressed that the matcha felt watered down. While I appreciate the service, the powder did not do much and just made the texture odd. The caramel latte was a little stronger it was just about average and tasted a little too homemade. The Barista was sweet and the place feels like a cute local shop. But just let down by the quality of the drinks :(

It's important to have places like this tucked in the nooks and crannies of Midtown Manhattan. A place with enough seating to have your own space, high ceilings to make the small space feel bigger, and a calm atmosphere to take away from the frantic, quite frankly manic, energy of midtown. Oh and a place that SLANGS great espresso. Madman has become me and my big homies goto spot to grab a coffee. I love Culture Espresso as much as the next person, but that place can get to be a zoo at prime coffee hours. We came here yesterday, and I was initially shocked as he pulled up with short hair and normally his flow is crraaaaazzyyyyyyyy. After asking him why he cut it and what inspired it, I was like damn should I cut mine too? After gathering my bearings from haircut-gate, I copped my patented hot americano with a cup of ice on the side (vet move) and the big homie got a latte... or maybe it was a cappuccino it's really stripping my mind rn damn... I said "stripping my mind" but obviously meant "slipping my mind" but I'm currently listening to that RHCP song "Strip My Mind" ahahaha my b. I was gonna edit that out but just thought y'all should know that. I've attached a pic of the lattuccino in question. It had that beautiful little flower-like design on it... honestly how do baristas do that? That is pure art. How hard is that? I kinda want someone to teach me that just to see how tough it is so I have a greater appreciation for it. I never get milk based coffee because it upsets my tummy (my immune system is iron though I promise), but when someone does and it has that little art I'm always blown away. Little details can make the biggest difference sometimes. Anyways, on the way out there is a big sign above the door that says "Life is Beautiful." I couldn't agree more Madman, I couldn't agree more. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

Went to the Flatiron store both times and didn't have to wait long to order. The staff were great and packed all of the little cakes nicely so that they survived the trek back to our condo. It had old tasting banana paste in the middle assuming because it's real banana and not artificial, is tiny, and didn't taste good Yuzu--nice yuzu flavor and disappeared fast Cloud--forgot the actual name and apparently didn't take a picture, it had chocolate/hazelnut mousse with some sort of caramel and something crunchy, also delicious All of the petit gateaus were on the mild side which is a big plus for me. Something with eggs, and meat, and a hot beverage as winter is fast approaching. Anything else would do fine, but the first two were an absolute must. Daily Provisions fulfilled those obligations. Though pricey, and probably why I will not return, they make one tasty breakfast sandwich. It might even outdo Panera! If only I could see how it is made rather than just wrapped and packaged for me, with me assuming they just took a pre-packaged sandwich and heated it up. I really hope they do not do that. The taste of it tells me they do not, but I have to surmise. I also got a hot chocolate, which is super rich. It is not super hot, but if you are not careful you could have an accident on the sidewalk because of the milk they use. Drink it slow and steady. Or pace yourself between sips. Do not let the body recognize this is full of the things that make bowel movements happen. Thankfully, I held my ground. They also sell crullers. I love a good cruller. Choux pastry donuts full of rich flavor, without all the density of an actual donut. This one may be too rich. It is also quite expensive. Nearby Donut Pub does a better job with them. I had to be careful eating this. Being careful and knowing how much it cost to get a breakfast here are what keep it a three star review. However, their offerings will keep you out of the cold and give you strengths on days you need to be picked up.
