de leche Latte - Regular 12oz
    Aida F.

Cute quaint spot in Penn station. Playing groovy light music. Beautiful ambience with mirrors and a decent amount of seating. I ordered the almond chocolate croissant and a dulce de leche latte (recommendation of the cashier). The almond croissant was good and so was the latte. Not too loud or too busy on a Friday night at 7pm. The staff was very nice.

I love how the coffee is made here. The customer service is excellent and I enjoy the ambiance. It is a must try if you are in the 34 street area.

Clean. Speedy service! Nice staff. I got the matcha with pistachio milk. No notes. It was a slam dunk.

Stopped here on my way to MoMA around 3PM on a Friday--pretty busy for such a small spot. They had three people working, but the cashier was also making drinks, so the line started to build. Super friendly though, and almost every seat inside was taken. I got the mango matcha... kinda mid. The matcha was a bit grainy and the mango tasted pretty artificial (not shocking, but still). That said, the price was solid--only $8, which I can't complain about.

If you're tired of Starbucks and need a change of pace while waiting for your train at Penn then Le Cafe is a solid choice. Nice selection of hot and cold coffees, pastries, and sandwich choices. Bagel items here too. Not much seating but if you can snag a seat its a relaxing way to enjoy your drink and bite. So much unused space its surprising they don't put in more tables and chairs. Pretty helpful and nice staff here too.

Maple pistachio milk latte here is insanely good!! It was super creamy, smooth, and flavorful without being just sugar. Way better than Starbucks and Tous les Jours' tiramisu latte. Came once for a small, came back for a large, and I'll definitely keep returning. Cozy spot with limited but comfy seating.

I had just arrived via Amtrak and had about 10 minutes before I had to catch my next train. I spotted this cafe, and it has a soft. It's the bright and clean ambience that beckoned me to get a coffee to go, and exhale - I had made it, without rush or fuss. The service was excellent. The cashier was patient, letting me know he was ready whenever I was, and the exchange was warm and friendly. I ordered a cinnamon latte - powder, not syrup - with regular milk, and it was simple and good. Price was good too. Today was already a good day.

    The Morning Truffle

Stopped by here in the morning because I needed coffee quick , and wanted to switch it up from starbucks. I had never been here before but was satisfied! I got a latte with almond milk and cinnamon, it was delicious and just the way I enjoy my iced coffee. The place is also nicely lit up and cute inside, with comfy tables. I tried the morning truffle which I 1000% recommend. It came out quick and was amazing. It came with egg avocado, truffle oil, cheese on perfectly toasted toast. I would definitely come back for it again and to try their other food items!

So me, United Mileage Plus person so I have to go to Newark to fly in and out of New York City. I take the train to New Jersey transit there to the Newark airport and I like to leave extra early because I cannot wait to get up in the morning and go have my "Scotty bagel" at Le café. It's lox and cream cheese and onion and tomato on an everything bagel and it's so good and they have really good coffee too. And I hate to admit it, but I also often buy one of their almond croissants to take with me in my bag to eat once I get to the airport.

The Spicy Egg is a unique and delicious spin on the NYC breakfast sandwich. Hard boiled eggs, avocado, arugula, and spicy mayo on an everything bagel. Delicious. The staff was jovial and efficient without being hurried or rude.

The hot chocolate was delicious and so was the latte. They were very nice in here and a good spot to relax before getting on the train!

    $8.55 latte
    Chauncey W.

Very expensive. Just paid $8.55 for a latte. The menu said $6.XX. I guess they charge $2 for a pump or two of premade syrup. Price is unnecessarily high for a shot of espresso, syrup and milk.

I needed a place in Penn Station for a meeting with partners within Penn station. I was able to snag a table while small they have counter seating and 4 tables. The staff was friendly and a welcome oasis within the bustle of Penn Station. My order was simple an Iced Chai Latte with Pistachio milk. We were able to have a meeting that lasted an hour and then headed our separate ways. It is a lovely space to stop in and grab or sit if available before heading to your final destination,

There are a few locations, but I decided to visit this one because it was the most convenient for getting to and from home. I got there around 7:00 PM, which felt a little close to closing time since Google said they close at 9:00 PM, but it wasn't busy at all. In fact, I was only the third customer to place an order. I ordered the La Summer sandwich and added pesto. After sitting down and taking my first bite, I immediately understood the hype. Without a doubt, this is one of the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time. I'm not even a huge sandwich person when it comes to subs and deli meats, but everything tasted incredibly fresh. The ingredients paired together perfectly, and you could still taste each one individually. The only thing I'd change next time is the meat. I had no idea prosciutto was a type of ham, but honestly, it didn't even taste like ham to me. It was sliced paper-thin, slightly salty, and worked surprisingly well with everything else. Next time, though, I'll probably add salami just to see how it compares. Overall, this sandwich was a solid 10/10, and I will absolutely be back--whether it's to try a different sandwich or, if we're being honest, order the exact same one again with salami added. I will say it's on the expensive side, but that's New York City for you. Apparently, all of the ingredients are flown in from Italy. After tax and tip, I paid a whopping $28 for a single sandwich. That said, it was incredibly filling and definitely kept me satisfied. The workers were also really nice and accommodating, and the indoor seating was beautiful. The atmosphere felt like a fancy Italian café, complete with couches and artwork throughout the space. I wish I had taken pictures, but honestly, I was too busy enjoying what might be the best sandwich I've had in years.

The menu inside breaks down all of the sandwhiches, you roll up to the deli counter when they say next, spill out your order (add/remove stuff to your order) and you're done. The most overwhelming thing is deciphering the Italian sandwhich menu. I hit up the Italian Hot. Pretty decent! I added sun dried tomatoes...but it would have been just as good without it. Be PREPARED this Sammie has some chili honey liquid /oil sauce they put on it and it's tasty but it's a lot. The staff are friendly - just focused on getting your order and getting it to you so you can enjoy. The wall is pretty interested they have made their own decor out of door panel fixtures.

I opted for the L'italiana, which features Prosciutto, Pistachio Cream, Stracciatella, Sun-Dried Tomato, Arugula, though I swapped out the prosciutto for bresaola. Oh man, this bread is legit! And as a yuuuge pistachio fan, that cream is delightful, especially coupled with that creamy stracciatella. Super well-composed sandwich, amazing bread, quality ingredients...a hit! I ordered a sandwich for pickup on a rainy night in the weekday, it literally took 1 hour for a cold sandwich that was missing parts of my order! Everyone waiting which was about 30 people were all visibly frustrated and angry. I missed my show because I couldn't even have predicted that ordering from a chain would take this long. They had 3 staff, 1 preparing not pickup orders and managing the register, one making orders with a stack of prepared orders whose names they weren't calling?!? Like how can you be this understaffed for a location like this. Getting someone to ask about your order was nearly impossible. Honestly, I feel bad for the staff working there since this is nyc and you deal with crazies, so one guy who waited 15 minutes getting heated I debated just finishing my sandwich at home because I didn't want to witness craziness Ok-actual sandwich was beyond a disappointment. They got it wrong and to get it fixed would have taken another hour that I didn't have. The bread was stale and cold and hard, there was veryy little meat. We all chose different sandwiches and they were ready pretty fast. Since the shop itself is not huge, we landed a small space at the window bar with two stools and some standing room. After being in a car and on a flight and in another car all morning, we weren't mad about the standing part. We were all able to share and sample each sandwich, and honestly, we were not disappointed. We were all full and happy when we weren't finished, so what more could we want for a relatively quick NYC meal? Being under the plaza, the restrooms were outside the shop but very close by so we were able to wash hands and such before journeying out into the wild. I would definitely stop back by again on another trip! The guys and I all gave Alidoro's two thumbs up - so 8 thumbs total, if you're counting.
