    Lemon coffee cake slice

Came here off chance, as the bakery we were looking for was not there. I'm so glad we stopped by. Their coffee cake was delish. So moist and yummy lemony. Customer service was great. They were nice at the counter. We didn't order coffee as we just had coffee beforehand. It's a charming little cafe. We will definitely return to try their coffee and breakfast items.

After changing ownership several years ago, the food wasn't the same and we stopped coming. However, I am happy to say the food is now back to amazing. I had the French Dip that was filled with tender roast beef and caramelized onions on a delicious Dutch Crunch roll. My husband had their Thyme chicken salad with big, fresh raspberries, lots of chicken and mixed with goat cheese and walnuts. Both entrees were huge and could easily be shared. The service was great, the prices reasonably, and the cozy restaurant oozes old world charm. What's not to like?

Such a cute spot to grab breakfast or lunch! The vibe is cute cottage. I walked in and they were making Christmas cookies packages. Staff was very inviting. I decided to try their quiche. I forget the name but it was the one with chicken. It was perfectly crusty and came with a side salad. I believe they also have a combo that comes with a soup. Also had an orange juice and their lemon bar, which I wish I got another to take home for later.

Cute little spot with plenty of parking nearby and a nice area to walk around in after eating. The whole time we were here on a Saturday brunch, people were coming in so it must be a popular local spot. Ordered the chicken focaccia sandwich and blueberry cheesecake. Both were not bad and the sandwich came with pesto pasta. For the price and taste, it was a bit expensive but we enjoyed our time regardless.

Love Thyme in the Ranch. Such a cute place. We usually order the full quiches from here for family gatherings. Their gluten free options are spectacular and their service is always above and beyond.

A few steps away from the Rancho Santa Fe down town area, we went here after admiring the cars at the car meet that happens here on Saturday mornings. They had indoor and outdoor seating. Walking in around 10:30am we were able to snag a table right away. We opted to sit outdoors and enjoy the pleasant weather. They have a collection of pastries and baked goods and friendly staff to help you choose. You order at the counter and take a number to your table and they bring out your food and clear your take when you're done. We got the mango cranberry coconut muffin, chocolate croissant, chicken focaccia toasted sandwich and the BLT+Avocado sandwich. These are all available in half and full sizes. Their breakfast offerings are available until 10:30am after which you get to choose from the all day offerings. Sandwiches were accompanied by a side of quinoa salad and a pickle bringing a refreshing element to the meal. The chocolate croissant was standard, and the muffin stood out for its interesting flavor combination of mango cranberry and coconut shreds. Overall, a solid brunch spot.

Very friendly and cute environment. I love love their pastries. Not too sweet. They are baked in house. Love their egg sandwiches. Everything is very delicious

We just picked up the turkey chili to go and it was not heated. We were glad we were not on a picnic. Heated it and delicious. I think the sides were too much. May save on food costs with smaller portions.

Such a cute cafe in the heart of Rancho Santa Fe. Ideal for breakfast and brunch. Good variety of sandwiches , hot and cold. Always busy but service is quick. Feels like you are sitting at home but outdoors. Loved it

There's free parking in the back and street parking in the front. This place is known for their breakfast but their other items are just as good. We recently found out the Chicken Fettuccine Al Pesto is the owners Italian mother's recipe. My youngest son enjoys getting this dish. My favorite breakfast dishes are the chicken and waffle, country fried steak and french toasts. They perfectly bread the chicken and the homemade country gravy it adds that extra goodness to the meal. I also love their fresh-pressed juices, and I usually request a plantation iced tea -- iced tea mixed with pineapple juice. So refreshing! The decor is adorable too. It has a cozy farmhouse café vibe that makes the whole place feel warm and inviting. And the bread pudding from Sunny Side is definitely worth mentioning. I usually don't like bread pudding, but this is far from ordinary. It's made with croissants and chocolate, drizzled with chocolate sauce, dusted with powdered sugar, served with raspberries, and strawberries. You have to add the ice cream...cause why not? Absolutely indulgent and perfect for sharing. Totally worth those extra calories! Overall, we'll definitely keep dining here. Great service, delicious food, and so many good family memories every time we visit!

The standout dish was definitely the Brussels sprouts. They were easily the highlight of the meal and an absolute must-order if you dine here. As for our breakfast, it was just okay. The bread was quite hard, making it difficult to cut and chew, and the hash browns could have used a bit more seasoning. The service also felt a little off. Our server took the orders of tables that were seated after us before coming to ours, and we didn't receive water until she was ready to take our order. It would have been nice to have our waters brought out shortly after we were seated while we looked over the menu. Overall, I'm glad I gave it a try, but I'm not sure I'd return. The Brussels sprouts were excellent, but the rest of the experience didn't quite live up to my expectations.

To me, the food was 3.5 to 4 stars. I ordered the thai and basil soda mocktail which was super refreshing and not too sweet! The spicy tuna and crispy rice was really good! I ordered the harvest bowl ($26) and added 3 oz. of steak for an additional $15. I didn't think that was a good value for roasted veggies and a small portion of steak. Some of the steak was extremely chewy as well. My friend said the hot honey chicken sandwich was good but there was a lot going on. I did take a bite of the molten butter cake while it was hot and fresh (I ordered it to-go) and the caramel really elevated the cake. Five stars for ambiance and service. The vibe here was smart casual. I did enjoy the aesthetic. Service was A+ with Emily. The manager came over a couple of times to make sure we were comfortable which was super sweet! I would definitely return. I really want to visit for brunch one of these days!

That was cool. The staff here are friendly and knowledgeable of their products. I ordered their Citrus Celery juice. For a celery juice, it was well balanced with flavors of orange, apple, grapes, and grapefruit. My fiancé ordered the beet root smoothie with the cacao chips. This was also good. A little bit on the sweet side especially for being beet based. But still very refreshing and also well balanced out with the cacao. The açaí bowl was the best I ever had. The presentation said it all. It was paired well with green apple, raspberries, bananas, walnuts, all the oats, maybe Nutella drizzle and coconut shavings with Greek yogurt. I was down for a second bowl. But it was very filling. Once again a perfect blend of everything. We also tried the avocado toast. I was happy to see that this dish came with more than just avocado and toast. They included an egg arugula, and a tomato. Nowadays, that is way more than what other cafes offer. I thought it was a good price for what you got.

The menu is a little bit different than I remember, but still focuses on fresh and healthy. The girl working at the front used to also work at the PB Location and she's very friendly and knowledgeable. She also gave us samples of the berry smoothie and the green juice to try. I went with the golden milk latte to drink, and it was fabulous. I did have them add a shot of espresso to it because when I was ordering a latte, I definitely was looking for caffeine. It's lovely with turmeric, cinnamon, oat milk, MCT oil and black pepper. I also ordered the Hot Chick salad. It came out looking gorgeous. The salad tasted really good, the chicken was seasoned nicely, and I liked the different textures with the rice, the quinoa and the roasted corn. The dressing was super tasty too. When I got towards the end of my salad, my last few pieces of avocado were bad. It wasn't a dealbreaker for my experience, but I would've definitely preferred that they would've left those pieces out. Also, the little toasted cracker things tasted like cardboard, dry and flavorless. I probably should've tried scooping up some of the salad with them, but I left them on the plate. Overall, I would definitely return to this location. You cannot beat them if you are looking for something fast, casual, and healthy. Definitely not on the cheap though, my salad and latte were $34 before tip, but I don't mind paying for good quality food that is fresh and healthy.

Turkish Eggs were super flavorful and fresh. Almost like eating an herby ramen egg on crusty toast with all the fresh herbs and chili oil. The hamachi crudo was delicate and fresh. The pork chop was sumptuous with an excellent sauce. But my favorite had to be the sourdough french toast. It actually blew my mind how the outside was crispy and crackley but the inside was moist, gooey but not mushy.
