    Lemon coffee cake slice

Came here off chance, as the bakery we were looking for was not there. I'm so glad we stopped by. Their coffee cake was delish. So moist and yummy lemony. Customer service was great. They were nice at the counter. We didn't order coffee as we just had coffee beforehand. It's a charming little cafe. We will definitely return to try their coffee and breakfast items.

After changing ownership several years ago, the food wasn't the same and we stopped coming. However, I am happy to say the food is now back to amazing. I had the French Dip that was filled with tender roast beef and caramelized onions on a delicious Dutch Crunch roll. My husband had their Thyme chicken salad with big, fresh raspberries, lots of chicken and mixed with goat cheese and walnuts. Both entrees were huge and could easily be shared. The service was great, the prices reasonably, and the cozy restaurant oozes old world charm. What's not to like?

Such a cute spot to grab breakfast or lunch! The vibe is cute cottage. I walked in and they were making Christmas cookies packages. Staff was very inviting. I decided to try their quiche. I forget the name but it was the one with chicken. It was perfectly crusty and came with a side salad. I believe they also have a combo that comes with a soup. Also had an orange juice and their lemon bar, which I wish I got another to take home for later.

Cute little spot with plenty of parking nearby and a nice area to walk around in after eating. The whole time we were here on a Saturday brunch, people were coming in so it must be a popular local spot. Ordered the chicken focaccia sandwich and blueberry cheesecake. Both were not bad and the sandwich came with pesto pasta. For the price and taste, it was a bit expensive but we enjoyed our time regardless.

Love Thyme in the Ranch. Such a cute place. We usually order the full quiches from here for family gatherings. Their gluten free options are spectacular and their service is always above and beyond.

A few steps away from the Rancho Santa Fe down town area, we went here after admiring the cars at the car meet that happens here on Saturday mornings. They had indoor and outdoor seating. Walking in around 10:30am we were able to snag a table right away. We opted to sit outdoors and enjoy the pleasant weather. They have a collection of pastries and baked goods and friendly staff to help you choose. You order at the counter and take a number to your table and they bring out your food and clear your take when you're done. We got the mango cranberry coconut muffin, chocolate croissant, chicken focaccia toasted sandwich and the BLT+Avocado sandwich. These are all available in half and full sizes. Their breakfast offerings are available until 10:30am after which you get to choose from the all day offerings. Sandwiches were accompanied by a side of quinoa salad and a pickle bringing a refreshing element to the meal. The chocolate croissant was standard, and the muffin stood out for its interesting flavor combination of mango cranberry and coconut shreds. Overall, a solid brunch spot.

Very friendly and cute environment. I love love their pastries. Not too sweet. They are baked in house. Love their egg sandwiches. Everything is very delicious

We just picked up the turkey chili to go and it was not heated. We were glad we were not on a picnic. Heated it and delicious. I think the sides were too much. May save on food costs with smaller portions.

Such a cute cafe in the heart of Rancho Santa Fe. Ideal for breakfast and brunch. Good variety of sandwiches , hot and cold. Always busy but service is quick. Feels like you are sitting at home but outdoors. Loved it

They advertise "100% natural smoothies," which is the main reason we stopped in. We ordered a 4 berry smoothie, and what we got was basically a cup packed with ice, filled with water, and topped off with a little organic juice. It was extremely watered down and not even close to what you'd expect from a real smoothie. Normally I would say something and give them a chance to fix it, but the employee's attitude made that feel pointless. She had zero personality and seemed almost annoyed that we even ordered--like it was an inconvenience. It felt like she knew the product wasn't good and didn't care at all. Pretty frustrating overall, especially when the advertising sets a completely different expectation.

Ok, PB sourdough stands on it's own AND gives me every excuse to eat some more butter! Toasts up nice no matter what you like from a soft to burnt scale. But the sourdough was the gateway drug for me. It's impossible to go into the Prager Bros bake shops and avoid seeing something even more additive. For me, the almond croissant just sings the perfect duet with a good cup of coffee. They rotate in some scones that are equally tempting. The honey walnut, limited offering, was my favorite until they stopped making it. The seasonal scone (date and coconut) is more than a fine substitution. They serve baguette sandwiches that are crispy crunchy and delicious. Highly recommend them.....the danger is you won't be able to drive by one. Heck, you get hooked enough, when you get in your car your Waze may prompt you with the time and distance to Prager Bros. Could be worse I suppose! You're welcome!

Then a few years ago, it changed hands (Maybe more than once) and the only Location that I know of now is this one in the City of Encinitas in San Diego County. I haven't been there in 3 years because it is a 1.5 to 2 hour drive. But on fathers day this year, I decided to treat my parents to brunch as it is my father's favorite place for the Niçoise salad. So, i drove from Long Beach. Champagne Bakery is a small french Bakery and café. It is located in a very charming Spanish mediterranean white building with terra cotta roof tiles and a large courtyard with lots of tables under market umbrellas, reminiscent of a European small town square. The seating is almost exclusively all outdoors for the exception of a couple of small tables inside. There is plenty of parking out front. The menu has a lot to offer and is centered around french Café classics such as the French Onion soup, the Croque Monsieur and the Niçoise Salad. But they also have omelettes, paninis, savory and sweet crepes, soups, and more. They have lots of daily baked goods including baguettes, pastries, cake by the slice as well as whole cakes, coffees etc (see full menu in photos) I tried the broccoli cheddar soup for the first time. It comes with a piece of French roll. It was creamy and flavorful. I also got an omelette with spinach, mushroom and Swiss cheese. It comes with either salad or breakfast potatoes as well as a piece of french roll. I got the potatoes extra crispy. Everything tasted really good. My father ordered his all time personal favorite. The Niçoise salad and my mother ordered a soup and sandwich combo. We all enjoyed our food outdoors on a breezy and beautiful sunny day. The manager and staff members were super friendly and accommodating and Prices are reasonable. I wish we lived closer. I would visit more often. The panini, served on a grilled baguette with egg, bacon, spinach, Swiss cheese, and herbed cream cheese, was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly.
