It's open the majority of the time, I think it's 24/7 so late night especially during the week it's one of the only places open for dining in while visiting the casino. We came on a Tuesday evening and there was about a 30-45 minute wait. You can either but your number down up front or register on the kiosk. We came when they were cleaning part of the kitchen so they had a small selection of items to choose from. My dad only wanted clam chowder which came out pretty quickly and he was content and ready to gamble. We got calamari as an appetizer, my brother ordered a veggie pizza, and me and my mom shared the eggplant parmigiana. It didn't take too long for the food to come out. The pizza was ok, probably the best bang for your buck. But I felt like my eggplant parmigiana was a little too salty and the eggplant wasn't cooked all the way. I wouldn't recommend getting it again, it's probably safer to go with the pizza. They have a variety of desserts and they have a separate cash register with refrigerated items you can purchase like sandwiches, salads, chocolates, cheesecakes, cakes you can eat to take out or if you're on the go. It didn't click to me until there was no one in line and she kept ignoring me and she acted like no one is in line. Asked the girl that I wanted something from the desert glass she said wait a minute and walked away to the back and didn't come back. I didn't want to waste my time on stupid so I left and went to Ben and Jerry and got served by another white lady with kindly and respect. I feel sorry for her as her act showed what background she comes from. We need more zing in this world . First, they give us a menu with attractive sounding cocktails and when I order, the server says "sorry, the bartender didn't come into work tonight so I can't get you one". Serious bummer. I came here the other day and wanted to come for lunch and I ordered the prime rib Ajou. I like to get it a little more on the downside an ex friend used to give me a hard time and say just eat it the way they make it and I'm sorry I'm not a fan of pink me so I get it the way I want it. The staff working was very friendly very helpful very efficient right away when I came here I noticed how clean the establishment was it was a very clean atmosphere and I had a craving for a French dip, so I was definitely happy that they had the prime rib dip, which is very similar to the French dip taste very similar. I did not have to wait long for the waitress to come over order the water, and I looked at the menu briefly and was able to place my order in a timely manner and I did not have to wait long at all. Maybe 10 minutes my food was perfection. It tasted amazing. I was really happy with the service I received definitely worth the wait. A lot of people had told me to check it out and I'm so glad I did because I was very impressed with my meal here the staff was awesome. The food was amazing and they don't just have lunch. They have breakfast items to choose from as well, I highly recommend this establishment for anybody looking for a new place to eat. It's great food and it's conveniently located in thunder Valley. Very easy to find. I will definitely be coming back here again very soon for your future visits. And more great experiences to come I will probably maybe try something different next time. Little greasy I've been to this casino a couple of times but never had the food. Plenty of drinks but never the food. I didn't want the standard food court scenery like Jamul or Graton casinos (I know you read those reviews). I wanted a sit down restaurant and this is it. I had to wait for a few mins till I got seated but I didn't mind because they are trying to practice social distancing. When seated I was promptly greeted by server and went over a couple of items on the menu. I decided to get the salt and pepper calamari and soup and sandwich combo. I should have stuck to my gut and get the fish and chips. Of course, if I had stuck with my guts at the tables I wouldn't have to write this review. Anywayyyys The calamari was a disappointment. Its like "let's just place the calamari on the plate and not put anything to help drain the oil". And the seasoning was not there. The tuna sandwich and clam chowder combo was not much better. I should have asked for some condiments because some mustard and salt would have helped the sandwich. In fact, I should have asked for a melt but lessons learned. Lastly the soup was ok. I come here all the time when I hit Thunder Valley. It's the only restaurant inside thats 24 hours so very much convenient when you are coming to gamble at various times. Food here is pretty mediocre. Their desserts and pastries are the real winners. However, the food can be very dry and bland. ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE TO THE BUFFET - UNLESS YOU PAY MORE THAN THE BUFFET Usually when I go to Thunder Valley I usually eat at The Buffet. Saturday I planned to go to Thunder Valley. I had already made up my mind that I wasn't going to eat at The Buffet. I checked the menu of this place. One item that intrigued me was the Vanilla Batter French Toast, which included an option for brioche or cranberry walnut. For breakfast I decided that was going to be the item I would order. I arrived at Thunder Valley yesterday. I noticed at The Buffet the Sunday Brunch was $20.99 that included champagne. So at Thunder Café for breakfast I had a plan not to spend over $20. I stuck with my original plan of ordering the Vanilla Batter French Toast. However I knew that item wasn't going to make me full. I ordered a side order of sausage patty thinking that I would only get one patty. Requesting a brioche for the French toast made the dish light. In the past when eating French toast I would get bloated, but the French toast at Thunder Café wasn't heavy at all. To my surprise I thought when I ordered the sausage patty I would get one patty; I ended up getting three patties. I liked the taste of the sausage patties. For the two dishes and a cup of coffee I ended up paying $16.78 including tax. I achieved my goal of not spending more than the Sunday Brunch at The Buffet. However I was still hungry. Overall I am glad that I came here yesterday for breakfast as I wanted to try something else for breakfast besides a buffet. The Thunder Café is a nice alternative to The Buffet but as long as you don't pay more here than there. After being locked up inside for 3 1/2 months, my family and I decided to take a risk and visit Thunder Valley after they reopened on 6/8/2020. I take the COVID-19 seriously and and was reluctant to go. We arrived to the casino at around 1 PM and checked in, hung around the pool for a few hours. The menu didn't have too many items on it, it had a good variety and it was easy to navigate. I ordered they buffalo chicken pizza and a water. Our waiter Andrew was great! He was very attentive and asked us if we needed anything multiple times. He was swift at getting condiments and refills. We had a pretty big party of about 10 people. The buffalo chicken pizza was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The sauce was delicious, the crust was perfect and the chicken perfect. I'm definitely coming back soon! It's usually great or the oposite. I was helped Zachary and he went above and beyond! Super nice and very attentive. The food was also really good. I got the breakfast sampler and also clam shows. Apart from the bacon everything was perfect. It looked more like charcoal than bacon . Even in days that are busy you'll be seated promptly. I really loved coming here for the ribs but the last two times I've been they don't have them on the menu no more. I asked and was informed that they have been removed. Other than breakfast that's the only item I'd usually get. The pizza is always spot on. The Hot wings are also a hit or miss. We came here for desserts yesterday and we were seated in the back of the restaurant. Well they now have the new Thunder Cafe Italiano.
