Veggie pizza
Michelle R.

Ambiance: It definitely has that lodge-feel. We dined at the bar and it has more interesting decorations than the restaurant. Food: I had the vegetarian pizza, and my husband had the rice and beans bowl with shredded chicken. I'd give the vegetarian pizza 3 stars because it could use more sauce and the veggies more cooked. My husband enjoyed the rice and beans. He said, he'll give it 4 stars. Service. Our server was great! He was super nice and funny.

We loved this place! Service was great, beer was great, food was great. I did a flight and my favorites were the crowd pleaser IPA and the chocolate stout. We had the fish tacos for dinner-amazing! The beans and rice that came with them were so tasty. We sat in the bar area, very laid back.

The Nashville Fried Chicken Sandwich is off the hook Great selection of craft beers and delicious food. I always enjoy eating here

Cheeseburger and battered fries

Visiting with friends who suggested Three Creeks Brewing. Usually check Yelp but these folks know their food. The fish and chips (tots) was very tasty but my favorite part of the meal was the tartar sauce. Yeah really. It was so much like an ancient cafeteria chain's version that I absolutely loved, I couldn't believe it. Wonderful. My wife chose a bowl of pozole and a giant pretzel. Lots of mustard of course. Every bite was great. Our friends had fish tacos, black beans and rice and a basic cheeseburger. The taco plate was way too much to eat in a very good way. She took part home. The cheeseburger was also large with battered fries. I got one and it was delicious. We each chose a drink and most were brewed by 3CB. They don't just serve food by the way. Excellent versions of many beer varieties. Our server checked in just the right amount to be helpful. The inside of the restaurant was stylish in a laidback kind of way. Just what you would expect in Sisters OR. Definitely on my recommendation list if you're visiting the area.

Cool looking place and want very busy on a Tuesday afternoon. Service was friendly and quick. Ordered a couple beers, pretzel appetizer was good. The Chicken Potato pita was just ok, kind of dull in flavor. The Cobb salad was good. Overall was just ok, food wasn't anything special, but beer was good

Pathetic $16 salad. This was all the chicken in it.

One of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Killer beer, chill environment, made me consider staying in Sisters for the night!

Takoda's Restaurant & Lounge - BLT sandwich with tater tots for the side

Stopped here while visiting my daughter from California and happened to have some time to spare…read morebefore meeting up with her. I randomly came across this place, and I'm so glad I did! It's a cute little spot that was quiet, cozy, and welcoming. I was greeted by a friendly host who quickly seated me in a booth, took my drink order, and came back shortly after to take my food order. I ordered the BLT sandwich with tater tots, and it was so good! My food arrived quickly, the tater tots were still hot and crispy, and the sandwich was fresh and delicious. A great little find while I was in town. I would definitely recommend it and would happily come back!

The pepperoni tasted like it had turned bad , and I wound up with stomach problems the next morning. I just think that's a little over the top for a two topping mini pie. They only had one cider on draft and it was a push pop flavor that tasted like cotton candy. Yuck. They had NO other cider options. I was bummed because I quite literally came in here to have a nice cold draft cider and there were zero options other than push pop.. With tip I paid $49 for a tiny mini pizza and two vodka sodas. Insane.

It's been awhile since I visited here and it has really improved. The outdoor space is so much…read morenicer and the turf eliminates the dust that at times would be circling through the air from the kids running around playing. The Italian sandwich, order inside, it delicious! The smash burger outside in the food truck is great! Their mimosas are the best in town!

After eight years, Crux is overdue for a review update. Biggest reason is that quite a few years…read moreago they expanded the place significantly, opening up the large room to the right of the bar that opens into the outdoor area. That room is equipped with restrooms, relieving one of my major complaints about a lack of facilities, as well as a second serving station complete with taps. Since then, Crux has significantly changed the outdoor area as well although I'm not certain it's an upgrade. It's a little too landscaped and way too much like a playground now. Locals have always tended to refer to Crux as 'daycare but with beer.' The last several times I've come here, the second serving station has not been in operation even though it looks to be still fully functional. Meanwhile the line to the bar serving stations is often long, sometimes almost out the door. Not sure why that is, doesn't make sense to have the capacity to more efficiently serve customers but not use it. All that said, the beer is still stellar and they continue to have a wide range of beer choices, the new(ish) large room has plentiful high-top seating (mobility challenged folks will need to venture outside), and the music is kept below ear-splitting volume. You can also sit at the bar itself although the vibe there isn't great - it's not like a neighborhood pub bar. Crux still has a kitchen. I used to order directly from them but have since transitioned to patronizing one of the several food carts outside. Being food carts, they tend to come and go so I'll not go into detail there. That said, the new Alpine Smash burger is fabulous. The other significant change in recent years has been with the location. A dispute with the property owners to the west resulted in the access road that way being closed, requiring Crux patrons to use the road coming from Second/Scott Street (or ride a bike). The west road is now open, maybe because the Jackstraw housing complex over that way is now completed and the road serves their tenants. RIP Spoken Moto.
