Pretty good happy hour spot! The wings and pizza were absolutely delicious, and so was the burger. The fries were just frozen fries - nothing to write home about. Not bad at all, just not as amazing as everything else. The drink was great too - it tasted almost like a piña colada. The parking was the most annoying part - I got lucky and found a spot but if you come at the wrong time ... it gets PACKED. And expensive. And the inside is VERY loud - but that makes sense, it's a bar. Super nice wait staff. I'd come back. Definitely want to try the oysters! read more

We came on a Wednesday even right around when happy hour started. There were not any tables available at the time but luckily a group was getting up from the bar. We started the evening off with a tequila shot and some deliciously spicy tequila cocktails called the Delinquintes that was so good! For food we ordered a dozen oysters because they are only $1 during happy hour, one happy hour meatball, and a happy hour pizza. While the meatball and pizza were delicious the oysters we had were not great, my friend had one she swears was rotten while the ones I tasted were sandy and did not have a great flavor. Besides the oysters I would say this place is one of my favorite hidden happy hours I've been to in a while. Decided to have a good start to the year after a rough last one, and couldn't have chosen a better spot! Its got a bit of an "old world" vibe with the furniture and the darker tones, which I personally dig. They got retractable doors which are perfect for chilly days, two outdoor seating areas, and a long standing area in between them. The place does get packed according to the crew so timing, as with most places is important. Pulled up at 5 on the dot, right on time for Happy Hour, which runs from 3-7 (!!!) and a "Sad Hour" from 10-Close as well. Each with special menu items and prices. They also offer a free dozen oysters with a purchase of a wine* bottle. Here's what I had: - $1 Oysters - Natty Jack burger with fries - El Muerto (Espresso Martini with Mezcal and orange hint) - Bad Juju (Gin) - Voodoo Doll (Burbon with some wine) Drinks were all great and well-made, had been a while since I had oysters but were also great. For drinks, we ordered: They Call Her Lola - Skyy Vodka, Aperol, Passiontruit, Orange Flower Water Bad Juju - Big Cypress Magic City Gin, Absinthe, Lime, Cucumber, Mint Doug's Old Fashioned - Banana Infused Sisne Whiskey, Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, Black Walnut Bitters All the drinks were well prepared. I would come back and order them again. Not bad for $10. For food were ordered: Chef Fries - Crispy French Fries, Herb Blend, Feathered Parmesan. Delicious!!!! Oysters - they were great and I loved the mignonette Wings - We chose the lemon pepper and it was delicious! Would definitely order them again. Thorn just opened downstairs (yes, I am one of the lucky ones who lives in the building next door) and I've visited at least 3x since opening. The menu is small -- there are only 3 main entrees listed -- but the burger and fries are fantastic. Tonight my bf and I tried the Caesar salad and wings (house rub and lemon pepper) and are fans. The only thing I was a bit confused on was the ranch that came with my wings - it definitely tasted more like tzatziki. It was tasty, but not ranch :) Cocktails are also great - "They Call Her Lola" is refreshing and seems to be one of the most ordered drinks on the menu. This place is getting more popular as there really isn't anything like it in this area. I'm next door so I'm definitely returning, but I hope they consider adding a few more options to their menu! read more

i've been wanting to come here for a while as i've heard such great things about thorn. I decided to come here on a saturday night, and it was extremely busy. They had a dj, people dancing and basically if you wanted to hear your friends talk you would have to sit outside. I saw many parties celebrating birthdays and having a great time. I opd for outside seating, and had some cocktails. The cocktails are Amazing!! I've heard their food is good but they were out of a couple things and I only tried the meatballs, and they were extremely cold. I've been to all other locations that are owned by same ownership and I would say I'm impressed with their selections. Their cocktails are delicious , we tried the Sunset dreams , Tres delinquentes and El muerto. They do have happy hour daily Monday-Friday 3pm-7pm with a huge selection of items. My partner ordered about 24 oysters since during happy hour they are $1. They are absolutely delicious ! We also ordered the Natty burger priced @ $10 during happy hour and the Marg pizza priced @ $10 as well. The atmosphere is very relaxing and it makes you feel as if you aren't in your home town. My son suggested this place when I asked for somewhere with a good burger. I was in the mood for something juicy, so I opted for their burger with the fried cheese, since the original burger is a smash burger. My meal did not disappoint! It was juicy and delicious, and the hunk of queso frito was to die for. The server suggested I put the hot honey sauce on the side, and she was correct. Sauce was great for my fries but not on the burger. The place is small but cozy and had a nice vibe. We had a nice time. I have been beasting to try this place for happy hour after hearing some of my Yelp friends talk about it. So when my friend wanted to go out on a Sunday afternoon this wasn't my first thought- but I am glad we decided to come. So it's important that you go to their IG to understand where to park- it's a little confusing- but they do comp parking so it worth it to check before. This place is on bird rd but it's so offset of the road that once you are inside- it feels like you are somewhere else. As you enter you find a very cute space. We ordered some mimosas, beer, brisket fries and bbq chicken pizza. The server passed by frequently to check on us- which inspired us to buy a bottle of wine after the mimosas lol. The brisket fries were DELICIOUS. We really enjoyed the meat, it was tender. The sauce on it was great. The pizza was good- they didn't put onions so it threw me off a little. It was over cooked and all dough There were literally 4 sprigs of burnt basil on it. Only because we were hungry and we had a time restriction that we stayed. The hostess would be better suited to greet people at a funeral home. When we asked her for red pepper, I guess it was too much for her to accomplish. Ok first if you never been here or not going with someone that has, it's hard to find via GPS. It's on Bird rd but it sets back off bird road in between the new apartment buildings, if you go past the post office then you passed it. There is a small driveway right past the sushi restaurant and some parking there. They do validate parking for 3 hrs. OK so the service was great, you are greeted when you step in the door, and you can sit anywhere that is not reserved. There is inside and outside seating. We went for brunch and DJ Marvel was killing it with the music. You can't help but chair dance while eating. Brunch menu while yes it's small but the food was sooooo good. It's also super popular and crowded on the weekends, so we came mid-week to check it out. The drinks are really cool. They have a huge outdoor area that makes for those evenings when you just want to chill and have good conversation. We ordered a few plates the share - bulgogi fries (meat was tender and the seasoning paired perfectly with the freshly fried potatoes) and hummus (it wasn't too bad, fresh and a great veggie option). A few friends ordered the hot honey truffle wings and they said they were really good. Our waiter was a total sweetheart, so service wasn't too bad for a holiday. I suggest if you're in a group, you have someone hop off and ask where that parking lot is before you park, if you'd like to save a few bucks. Was not immediately greeted or escorted to any particular seating area. Walked to the outside seating patios and waited a few minutes before someone eventually showed up with water. Service was friendly and somewhat quick for a Friday night. Had a couple drinks, at a fairly reasonable price, but best of the group was for sure the "The Call Her Lola" & my personal recommendation. I went in for the Cry Baby Ice cream and found a new cocktail bar I love! This hidden gem is around the corner from a post office, so a bit tricky to find if you don't have a gps. However parking is easy (you can validate for up to 3 hrs inside the bar). Additionally, probably one of the best happy hours in westchester! 3-7pm mon.-fri. And most dishes are $15 and under and you get some delicious dishes. A medium size pizza with a dough that was amazingly tasty and wood oven cooked with fresh ingredients was $10 during happy hour.
