Professional and responsive. I've had multiple members of their team assist us now with both smaller to larger issues. They have solved every one and they explain what is being done, why it is being done and what the costs involved are. I always feel included and assisted. We've had a family home here in the Desert for over 40 years and this is the most amazing plumber we have ever encountered. He is honest, ethical and honestly doesn't charge enough. He is a true professional in every sense of the word and I cannot recommend him high enough. read more

I called Thistle yesterday and Brian said Frank will come out today. Frank was really nice, he showed up and right away went to see the guest toilet, which had a leak and we have turned off the water already. He checked & located the leaks & problem. The sealer wax on the bottom was disintegrating & the drain pipe also has some leakages. He fixed that & put in new sealer wax, plus corking was made around the bottom sealer wax. Also fixed the problem on the master bathroom toilet, put in new flapper & tank lever. He did a beautiful job and cleaned up afterwards . I am happy about the bathrooms now. I would highly recommend Thistle for any plumbing repair! read more

We used Thistle plumbing over 10 years ago and came back for help with our water heater this time. You get what you pay for. I got a couple quotes, Thistle came in slightly higher but when you're dealing with your home you want the comfort in knowing you're getting great service and quality. I don't trust a lot of vendors but I TRUST Thistle. They were able to come the same day too! Frank was professional and took care of our home covering the floors to ensure he didn't get anything dirty from his work. He even went a step further cleaning the area around our water heater. After installation he went over best practices and warranties. read more

Brian and Frank have been covering all the plumbing needs for my house and a rental I own for a good 15 years now. They were highly recommended to me by every neighbor I talked to when I moved here. Over the years they've fixed pretty much everything possible - drains, showers, toilets, faucets (indoor and outdoor) and replaced two water heaters. Nothing they've fixed/replaced has needed attention again. They've always been on time, great with communication, have never overcharged and are both friendly and professional. I can't recommend them enough. read more

Punctual, knowledge and fair priced. A locally.owned business that I would highly recommend.

If you need a plumbing job done - clean and efficient - these people know their craft. I recommend Thistle!

I've continued to rely on Thistle Plumbing over the years for all kinds of jobs from replacing the entire sewer line to installing a sump pump to resealing a toilet. Every, single time, I've been so pleased with both the service, cost, and communications. I'm glad every time Frank comes by because he is so good and quick at diagnosing the problem and explaining it to me along with what he will do to fix it. Anytime a friend asks for a referral, I do not hesitate to recommend Thistle. Also, my dogs LOVE Frank, which is the ultimate sign of approval! :) read more

Frank came out was very rude. Cussed a lot left my bathroom a complete mess I asked him if he was going to clean up he said no and left. I called his boss the owner and he didn't seem to care at all either. Any company would be better than this one. read more

Our project was to replace our ancient iron plumbing with Pex/copper. The problem being that we are on a slab foundation and our attic space is very limited. I had a couple of good prospects to do the job but I gave it one more shot and eventually called Thistle Plumbing. Frank came that same day and I could tell we were working with a professional plumber with years of experience. We walked through the project and he identified some issues we might have during the project, but nothing that couldn't be resolved. We were then contacted by Brian, the owner, with a reasonable estimate. Frank and Juan came out the next week and spent 4 days on the project (even Brian came by to pitch in for a day). They were respectful and neat, always cleaning up for them selves. Frank also identified a few issues we had previous plumbing issues and worked to resolve them. The project has been completed for over a month without any issues, but if anything develops I know Thistle Plumbing will be there to take care of it. It's always a great feeling when you hire a service company that has all the qualities you want, attentiveness, professionalism, all without taking short cuts. Thistle Plumbing are my plumbers from here out. Thank you, Brian and Frank! read more

Thistle plumbing has a five star review from every customer it ever served for a reason Fabulous, way over the top, excellent customer service. Was out enjoying myself in Joshua Tree when I got a frantic call from the HOA. My water heater had ruptured, and needed immediate repair. Calling around to other plumbers, during this holiday season, had extended, weeks out, wait times. I got lucky. Brian had an open space the next day. He was more than prompt, a few minutes early, and immediately started working to fix the problem. Where my hot water heater is, a very tight space, requiring a lot of extra work. He did not complain at all about the extra work that ended up being done. Both he and his assistant were friendly, professional, with big smiles, and educated me on issues found, (like pipes that were about to fail, deeply corroded...yikes!), which he then replaced , throughout the repair. Even better... He came in below his estimate. I cannot recommend his services any higher. I would give them 10 stars if I could read more

Brian was very responsive and communicative as advertised. He was willing to consult over text as much as he could. It's refreshing that he will post his prices online. Seems like one of the few good guys around. Thanks Brian. read more

Brian is the best. I called to make an appointment for an odor in my drain. He explained how to take care of it myself. How refreshing that he helped me over the phone. He made the comment that over the years there will be more opportunities to pay him for work and I will. He will be the first call I make in the future. Thanks Brian! read more

Brian is one of the good guys in this world that won't take advantage or cheat you. I highly recommend him.

This was the fifth plumber I called in a series of very bad experiences. He took a look at the previous plumbers' work and made a few adjustments, as I had no confidence in their (previous plumbers') work. Then installed a toilet for a very reasonable sum. Would definitely use them again and I've recommended this company to a friend that lives in Palm Desert where they have another location. read more

Even the showers both have hot water instantly. I am impressed. Five Stars for sure! read more

Easiest in & out w a tradesman ever. Efficiency is a wonderful trait in a small business. After 15 years, I have found my go-to plumber.

I had such a good experience with Brian. Super knowledgeable and he was there to fix a couple of sinks that the handles were broken or installed incorrectly and also we had a recirculating pump that was making a thumping sound through the pipes all night long that was making me crazy. He came really listened to us and figured out the issues. I really got the feeling he knows his stuff .!!!! He even figured out what was wrong with our water heater. It made that I'm going to blow up sound that makes you jump back when we adjusted the temp . Anyway I'm a fan and when the next thing happens , I'm going to call them. read more
