Took it to the shop, they said 3-4 days for diagnostics, etc. My partner called on day 3 and asked how the work was coming along and they hadn't even TOUCHED my vehicle. He called back the next day and asked the same thing - AT WHICH POINT THEY HUNG UP ON HIM. The best part of this whole thing is another staff member called back an hour after they hung up on him and said they had been working on it for three days, that they popped all the fuses and did everything they could for my car, etc. Now my car will die within a day of not driving it. So, if you ACTUALLY want your car fixed, go somewhere else. Pretty sure a mentally deficient chimp could've done a better job. Thanks.

During that time, I and a representative from Caliber Collision had to hunt down parts ourselves. That is NOT the customer's job. It is literally what this shop is paid to do. Their failure to handle basic responsibilities is unacceptable. After dragging their feet for months, they finally installed the parts--only to then "discover" that my truck had frame damage because they couldn't align it. That should have been caught at the very beginning. Any competent shop would have identified that during the initial inspection. The fact that they missed something that serious shows pure negligence and lack of professionalism. Because of their incompetence, my truck is now totaled. Two months wasted. Countless phone calls. Stress. No accountability. No urgency. No proper communication. This could have been avoided if they had done their job correctly from day one. Instead, they delayed, mismanaged the repair, and left me with a totaled vehicle and zero trust in their abilities. If you care about your vehicle, your time, or your sanity, do not bring your car here. This shop is disorganized, irresponsible, and clearly unqualified to handle serious repairs. She had brought lunch for her sons, she patiently and lovingly sat with them at the office for them to eat their lunch and then she took the dishes back and left the shop. I asked if he could take a look at it to see how much it would be to get the wheel and axle replaced plus the oil pan leak. I told him over the weekend when it was raining real bad my car did a spin out when I did a slight turn onto the access road. He said he would take a look at it and let me know by the end of the day. The day ends and I hear nothing so I called the next day (mind you I'm a very understanding person and know how shops can be busy) when I called he answered the phone in a rude way stating the fact that he's been busy and its been raining so he hasn't looked at it and proceeds to say leave me your name and make/model of car and call in the morning. I call and its the same thing about him being busy and so on. (Each day I'd call for a follow-up) By the end of the week and into the next week on Monday he tells me the car is ready. I got a Uber there and when I arrived he was dressed like he was going to some nice event (Crisped button down shirt starched jeans and boots). I asked where my car was, he then picked up an oil tank and told me there was nothing he could do and said I needed my car replaced. Mind you my car was never moved from the spot when it was towed. He never moved it nor looked at it. I knew for a fact he didn't look at it because he said he wouldn't charge me. Once I got my car towed back home I was able to find a good mobile mechanic who actually looked at my car and fixed it for a decent price. Gilbert also scammed over $500 from my sister when he said he fixed it up but its still doing the same thing from when she dropped it of to him and he says it could be this or that. So please don't go here and go to a local mobile mechanic who actually cares!

When she got here, she had almost no brakes, rotors were history, and of course pad were bad completely worn. We ordered the parts for our mechanic but he could not get to it. I contacted Fidel, who I was told to do the work. I dropped the car off and explained the situation. He and his guys looked at the tires and stated that they would not make it to California and I agreed. She was on limited income but he worked out a deal where he got her used but searched the yard for tires on newly wrecked vehicles so he knew she would be safe. He put the brakes, rotors, etc put on and the tires for less that she would hav paid for the brakes alone at my other mechanic. The mechanic, knowing what the situation was, did a full safety check on the car, added a full gallon of oil (she was nearly empty of oil), checked her power steering fluid found it low and refilled it and fixed the leak in that line, also went through the entire cars engine and transmission to make sure it was safe and dependable for such a long drive by an elderly woman. ,The mechanic was incredibly able, left nothing to chance and easy to communicate with and was as caring about his lady as he would a good friend. And the cost was less than changing the brakes would have been with my other mechanic. Thanks, she said her car loved her and had never been in such good shape. Thanks to you all there.
