That was Roberto from Sponges today. I had hired Sponges because I'm selling two cars immediately. I needed both of them to look showroom-ready for online sale "beauty" photos. Roberto showed up this morning exactly when promised... on Memorial Day... and worked for seven straight hours. Near the end, one of the car batteries drained because the doors had been open for hours during detailing. The detailing itself was top shelf - more than five stars - but what really stayed with me was Roberto's attitude: always a big, reassuring smile on his face, coupled with hard work, professionalism and the kindness of a righteous human being. The price however should be adjusted accordingly depending if the vehicle is too dirty or not. In my case the car is kept in the garage 90% of the time and has a full cover on it all the time and it never gets dirty so $95 for a clean car that essentially just needed a quick wash seems a bit overpriced. That is not the purpose of the wash. For what i use it for, it is perfect. Also, the location is better than the competition down the street. You have multiple ways to leave at Whitewater, versus the other where you only have 1 way in and 1 way out, straight out onto 290, and have a better chance of getting into a car accident than not. Where previously they used to always have PLENTY of clean micro fiber towels in the bins for customers to use..lately that is no longer the case. These days, only 1 bin of clean towels for customers to use is being filled or they're passing out the clean towels to customers 2 towels at a time. I really like WhiteWater Express Car Wash, but there's one thing that keeps it from being great:…read more Unlike Quick N Clean Car Wash in San Marcos, WhiteWater keeps their vacuum, mat cleaning, and air blower stations inside a gated area...so you can only use them if you pay for a wash. I get it, this location is busy and that probably helps keep wait times down. But Quick N Clean built serious customer loyalty by letting people vacuum for free, and it made you want to come back and spend money with them. That said, WhiteWater still does a lot right. The lines move fast, the wash itself is thorough, and the vacuum stations are well equipped. I especially like the compressed air tools for getting into tight spaces to blow out dust and debris. The mat cleaners here are more of a dry clean (blowing debris out rather than washing with water), but they get the job done. Overall, it's a solid, efficient car wash. I just wish they'd consider a more open access vacuum setup to let people vacuum for free. You'd lose nothing and you'd have everything to gain. Think of it as free advertising. It's a small change that could go a long way in building customer loyalty. I'll still be coming back.

There are cleaning rags outside but always low and no type of free cleaning solution. Upon entering the car wash they only allow one car freshener which I think is silly. I think you should at-least be able to get 2-4 because they aren't the strongest. They last maybe an hour with just one. MAYBE. Other than that those are my only complaints. Nice car wash tho if you're looking for a quick wash.
