I replaced the outer tie rod ends on my Tundra, THEN called 4 Wheel Parts to see when I could get in for an alignment. Not really the smartest sequence there, as the first available appointment at 4WP was over two weeks out. I asked around, got referred to Jerry, and was able to get an appointment in 2 days. They did a great job, and are very affordable! I'll be back! The only thing I need to add is that if your looking for a guy that looks like the "owner" here on Yelp, you won't find him. I made an appointment here and they were only a few days out. Visited at the set time and waited about 10 minutes before my car was taken in. There are two nice gentleman who work here, they were polite, prompt, and honest. My car didn't have an alignment issue, but I wanted to have it checked regardless as I purchased it a few months ago and it has new tires. If you are looking for an honest mechanic, this is the place. I have an older car that has been lowered and the franchise place I take my other cars to wouldn't work on it. Jerry's was recommended as a place that does work on older and classic cars. They did a great job on the alignment and also went through the suspension and tightened and adjusted some things that my previous mechanic had missed. After getting my car back, the overall handling is much better. The prices are very fair and the service goes above and beyond. My mechanic does not do front end alignments, but he recommended Jerry's. I made a next day appointment and was well taken care of. While doing the work the mechanic took me to my car and asked if I had recently heard any odd noise. I said that it recently had a "humming" sound from the back end. He spun the rear right wheel and it made the same noise. Turns out the wheel bearings were going bad. Luckily I was able to get in the next day and had it taken care of. I contacted my mechanic (who can do wheel bearing work) and he said that Jerry's was offering a very fair estimate for the work done, including the alignment. This place is Amazing! Brought my bmw xdrive (all wheel drive) there because it's a bit of a special case. It had prior accident from a curb crash. So new axle, tie rod, rearward control arm, wheel hub bearing on front and rear had new rearward control arm replaced because it was bent. Needed an expert that is knowledgeable with german cars and that has patience to work thru the trouble. John was super awesome. Incredibly OCD in getting my car as close to perfect as possible. My whole car was off. The rear was pulling hard. The steering was fighting the front. While the rear was pulling in another direction. John had it pretty much 99% aligned. He test drove it and didnt liked the steering wheel was off by like 3°. He put the car back up on the lift and mounted all the sensors back on each wheel just to get the steering at 0°. I wouldnt trust the dealership to even get it done to such precision. Incredible price $69.95 for all wheel drive alignment Highly recommend them. A+++ read more

Jerry's been a Pflugerville institution for nearly 20 years. I've had several local shops, even with road force machines, do bad balances, have alignments where the steering wheel is crooked, etc. i made the mistake of letting other shops rebalance my tires or do an alignment out of convenience and had both messed up by several local shops who do other work. But Jerry's always is able to fix their mistakes. I've learned my lesson. No one but Jerry's will do my alignments and balancing moving forward. The cherry on top is that their prices are the best in town. Honest. Dependable. Trustworthy. Most auto shops could learn a thing or three from Jerry's. Another instance of 5-star reviews being true. I bought a brand new Audi and after driving it for a day I noticed it pulled to the right. I purchased the car in Houston so I didn't want to have to drive 3 hours each way to have the dealer fix it. The Austin Audi dealers are all booked at least 6 weeks in advance for any kind of service needs (even simple stuff like oil changes which seems ridiculous...but I digress...) I found Jerry's on yelp and called them this morning. I dropped my car off and it was done by the afternoon. John worked on my car and immediately identified and fixed the issue. Super nice guy to boot. AND they didn't charge an arm and a leg! I love that there are still small, local, independent businesses like this that provide great service. I came to this place expecting to spend a few hours due to my vehicle being a 98' ranger and having a nasty right lean on my steering due to bad alignment. Lo and behold my wheel alignment only took around 45mins, and feels great. I recommend calling before showing up since they have a appointment schedule they keep track of, I got extremely lucky and a person cancelled their appointment exactly when I walked in and only waited around 10mins. HONEST MECHANIC!!! So so so incredibly impressed and pleased with this place. We have been going to Jerry's for about 10 years now but it's my husband that usually handles it. I called today because Discount tire said I needed an alignment and new brakes. Jerry's said they were very busy but to come in and they'd squeeze me in. They didn't want me driving around if there was a problem with my brakes. We left the car and returned to pick it up later in the day. I go up to pay and they tell me that my alignment was fine and so were my breaks. They said, no charge. I said, "really?" He said, "no charge" smiled and told me good bye and Happy Holidays. I had a pair of lifted shocks I needed installed given I personally don't have the time to do it. I called 12 other places (literally) in Austin to get a quote and not only was this place the lowest cost of them all, the service was absolutely great. I went in first thing in the morning to drop off the vehicle and (I believe it was the owner), he was very polite and answered all my questions in detail. He was very personable. It's definitely not like those places where you carry small talk to avoid any awkward silence. When I went to pick up the truck, even the payment handling was processed quickly. There's minimal risk from COVID given you go in with your mask, they have theirs on, and you don't have to wait inside at all. The interior of the shop was well maintained and overall I really enjoyed this visit and highly recommend this business. Needed a front-end alignment on my truck after adding a leveling kit. My usual auto shop couldn't do my truck because their machine only supports up to 2017 and only stock vehicles. Among other services they tried to sell me on was a four wheel alignment. Thier price was about $140.00 and tax. So I immediately made an appointment with Jerry fora 4 wheel alignment. His cost $79.95 and tax. I was on time for the appointment, he immediately checked me in then within a few moments came to the waiting area to ask me who suggested I needed an alignment as my car was perfectly aligned. I have a restored 48 Willys station wagon with a Mustang II front suspension. I was experiencing stability issues at highway speeds and another alignment shop tried to correct the problem but finally told me that they couldn't help me. After having a less than happy experience with tires at Firestone, I took my car to Jerry's for a wheel alignment and tire mounting and balancing. The shop is located at the far end of a business building and can be a little hard to find. Appointments are taken on a first come first served basis, and there are plenty of magazines and a TV in the waiting room to keep you entertained. I believe he also offers complimentary water and soda too, something you'll never find at the big chain shops. I wasn't 100% sure if my car's problem was with the alignment or the control arm bushings, and when I explained the situation to Jerry, he was very friendly and reassured me that he wouldn't charge for alignment if it wasn't needed. The visit lasted about two hours, and Jerry was fine with my boyfriend asking questions and watching as he did some of the work. He was very honest with us, and I never felt uneasy during the experience. I also appreciated that they took my car for a test run to double check their work. The bill came out to far less than I thought it would be, and I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend Jerry to others! read more
