Take your business elsewhere, they put two incorrect lug nuts back onto my car lol and then said that they couldn't have done such a thing. I took my car here last summer to have two front tires replaced. Months later, the car has a flat tire from sitting which is normal, but when I went to change the tire , I noticed that the two lug nuts that are not OEM and now are stuck because they don't fit my OEM tire iron. Luckily this is a spare vehicle, but I can only imagine if this happened if the vehicle was driven, and then I would be stranded. Mario didn't even acknowledge the fact that they worked on the car and continued to say that's not possible but yet here I am looking at two lug nuts that aren't OEM and I know for a fact they were OEM lugs not before taking my car here haha but I guess they just magically appeared on my car over night somehow. read more

Beware - These guys do shoddy work and do not stand behind it. I took my truck to them to balance and rotate tires. I had been having shaking of the steering wheel and wanted to eliminate the tires as the cause. Two days later the shaking was back so I brought it to my mechanic to see of there was a front end suspension problem. He put it on a lift and no suspension issue. He took the tires off and put them on the machine and said ALL FOUR TIRES OUT OF BALANCE by a lot. He said whoever did the last balance had put weights on both the side and outside if the wheel which is not the way to do it. When I called Mario - the owner of Pflugerville Tires - he basically called my mechanic a liar. Despite pictures from the balancing machine of all four tires. He said he'd "be willing to work with me in the future" on a discount for next time. NO INTEGRITY - JUST BLAMES OTHERS. read more

Expert lugnut strippers and rim scratchers. Only take your things here if its so easy a monkey can do it or you don't care how it gets treated. You can expect to stand around awkwardly while your things are to be thrown around carelessly because it's "just a tire and rim". Employees practice lazy removal techniques that result in stripped lug nuts and scratched surfaces. I get one thing happening, but I've gone here now dissatisfied twice after giving the benefit of the doubt. I rarely even feel the need to review places. But save yourself the potential headache and go to any other place that is an actual professional and values their work more on a daily basis. Backstory for anyone who cares; I brought them my own tires to mount and balance, my own socket to remove security lug nuts, and told them to please take off the lugs by hand before hitting it with a 900 ft/lb air hammer and stripping the head of my AMG security bolts. They shook their head yes we agreed to a price and not two minuets later they start going to town on the car holding the trigger down of an air impact wondering why the socket is spinning but not the bolt... So they get frustrated and refuse to figure it out and work on it like I originally asked them with a breaker bar. Ultimately they said it was "too hard and not worth their time"... So they'll refuse service and say sorry we stripped your lug nuts but we can't do anything about it so good luck moving forward with your now newly stripped bolts. Not our problem. Just remember we have that sign over there that says "not responsible for damage". Any further issue and the owner will ignore you or not reach out to make things agreeable. I asked them if I could undo the bolts for them like I had for one tire and they said "No customers can work on the car in the areas. Shop policy". Im sure it's not because they didn't want me to show them it could be done or to help me out as a customer, but because of their incredible insurance policy on the place obviously. In reality they should have a sign that says "Expect damage! However, we still aren't responsible for it, so have a great day with your messed up things you paid for" and we will all be on the same page. read more

No frills tire shop. An authentic llanteria with a huge selection of new and used tires in stock. I called to ask if they had the tire size and ply rating for my truck and they did. Quoted me a price of $199 per tire installed. So $796 total for my Dodge Ram 2500 truck. Firestone quoted $1300 and Discount Tire $1200. So the savings here are significant. Last time I bought 2 new tires from Firestone was 40,000 miles ago and It's been at least 5,000 miles since the tread wore down past the safety indicators. So the Firestone brand didn't even last 35,000 miles. I arrived and they had one open service bay, the workers motioned me to pull right in. They had the new tires in stock, and finished the job in about 15 minutes. Paid the price quoted and was back home so quickly that my wife didn't believe I had actually got the tires done. read more

Broke my speeding sensors in my tire. Owner Refuses to fix. I had been going here for several months, as I just moved closer. The service had always been pretty good, I talked to the same lady every time. However, upon one visit, she was not there. She was on vacation per her husband. I was also told they were short-staffed. Alas, I was going to get this tire changed as I was riding on a donut. After I pull off, and hop on 35, My ABS/Brake/Tire lights do not revert back to their original state. Subsequently, my entire speedometer stopped working. Based on everything I researched, my sensor was damaged. Every shop I spoke to advised returning to the tire shop. I did--but it resolved nothing. Although he was nice, he refused to take responsibility for damage, and even after I spoke with the owner, I could not get an ok. No apologies or accepting responsibility. It is a shame, but I do not trust this shop with my vehicle any longer. I went back at least 3 times to try and reconcile. No such chance. Mario the manager should be ashamed of himself. I have been coming here for 2+ years and today will be my last time spending my money with this business. I purchased 4 tires from this place and I have been here 4 times in the past 4 weeks and Mario refuses to even listen to me as a paying concerned customer. He allows his employees to do half ass jobs and takes customers money any way he can. I was told on 2 separate occasions and with two different tires that my stem was replaced. To have to return 3 days later with slow leaks on both tires. I tried to speak with him and he yelled at me and said I don't have to return to his shop. He treats the male customers well. But is very rude to the women. Not only myself. Avoid spending your money here. You won't be respected or provided with good customer service. He told his employee to not let my car down off the Jack until I paid TWENTY dollars for a 3rd stem. So far so good - had someone slash my front left tire on my bronco sport 2021.. They replaced spare tire by removing from rim and putting it on to main rim. Pflugerville tires is one of the most highly dedicated tire shops I know of in this area. Every single one of the technicians knows what they are doing and do it efficiently and with great expertise. So far as the cost is concerned, I don't think you could find a better value anywhere else for many many miles. I came in once with a busted up rim and they let me know right away, no charge, but I pleaded with them to try to make it last through the weekend and they stayed late to give it a temporary fix. In fact, they routinely stay open until 8pm when everyone else nearby has closed at 6pm. Top service with sincere, honest information before they start the work.
