    This shop wasted over two months of my time and proved they have no idea what they're doing…read more After my accident, my truck sat in their shop for more than two months with little to no progress. During that time, I and a representative from Caliber Collision had to hunt down parts ourselves. That is NOT the customer's job. It is literally what this shop is paid to do. Their failure to handle basic responsibilities is unacceptable. After dragging their feet for months, they finally installed the parts--only to then "discover" that my truck had frame damage because they couldn't align it. That should have been caught at the very beginning. Any competent shop would have identified that during the initial inspection. The fact that they missed something that serious shows pure negligence and lack of professionalism. Because of their incompetence, my truck is now totaled. Two months wasted. Countless phone calls. Stress. No accountability. No urgency. No proper communication. This could have been avoided if they had done their job correctly from day one. Instead, they delayed, mismanaged the repair, and left me with a totaled vehicle and zero trust in their abilities. If you care about your vehicle, your time, or your sanity, do not bring your car here. This shop is disorganized, irresponsible, and clearly unqualified to handle serious repairs. Worst experience I've ever had with a repair shop.

It was 530pm when I called and was told to bring it in and have it serviced. I pulled up at 547pm and they closed at 7pm. One guy tells me to pull around and they will get me squared away. Go to get my truck ready for them and another guy just looks at me and said we aren't going to do anything for you today and we are closed the next day. I explained my situation and that I had a 2 hour drive to get home to my wife who had to have surgery early the next morning and I wanted to make it home safe. Mind you my tire was kicked in pretty bad. He asked where I lived and then said that sucks. It is now 615 and he was kinda rushing me to leave. Looks at my truck for about 5 seconds and said "looks like you bent something ( good luck)".. I had to drive 120miles at 45-50mph. Turned into a longer drive in the dark. The hospitality was horrible and manners were non existent. Wouldn't leave a comment had they not talked to me the way they did. Next day took it into a shop and explained what happened they looked at my truck got it fixed in 30 mins. Said that shop could have done the same. And nothing was bent. Will not be returning to this place. Better to just limp over to another shop Plus a few months back i had to get my tires balanced bc I slung a weight off, thought nothing of it when they got done. Had vibrations pretty bad till I got home a few weeks later and took it to my local spot at home and they counted 18oz weights on one tire and 21oz on another triple row and double stacked, thats a bit over if you ask me. They asked who did this and that they shouldn't be in the tire business with crap like that. It cost me a a set of front tires bc they chopped so bad.

Wheeled over to service to get the bulb replaced and the service manager asked a technician to come out and take a quick look. Yep, it was a bulb...technician went to his tool box, grabbed the exact bulb I needed and replaced it in the parking lot within 5 minutes. I asked what I owed and was told nothing. I tried to offer a tip to both of them, they wouldn't accept it, simply asked that I "Pay it forward". The car business needs more people with this type of attitude.

I am reviewing this particularly based on my experience with the manager of sales Roy Powers. He was not the nicest person to deal with. I purchased a 2013 Malibu from them and had my down payment to go along with it. I ended up waiting from signing the paperwork and having the wrong color ordered out of Houston to waiting another day for the car I ordered that had to be brought up from Seguin. It was so inconvenient for me because I work and attend school full-time and trying to make time outside of my schedule to complete this transaction was a pain. I had to continuously call because I was not told but the dealer on the status of my order which is not professional. Roy was not always in the office for personal reasons so he was never available for me to speak to. He doesn't even respond to his emails which is very annoying to me. It made me feel so unappreciated but I went ahead and purchased the vehicle anyways because I didn't feel like driving around to other locations wasting time on buying another car. But if you have the time I would look elsewhere because the customer service here is not great. I feel like I was treated poorly, but I guess that's part of life. There aren't very many people these days who truly care about other people's happiness, I get that. PS I purchased my vehicle in July 2012 and now it is Oct 2012 and I still have not received the signed documents that Roy (sales manager) promised to "mail" me. I guess I will have to make a trip to pick them up...ugh!!!!!!!

Again, it took me 3 months just to step in the door because I was so back and forth from what I've heard. Rush Cheovrolet has new management and I was REALLY impressed! Coming from a big skeptical - and they had no idea. Our last company purchase from Capitol Chevrolet was great, Lacee sold us like 4 vehicles within two days BUT it's so important to put our money back into local businesses, we gave it a shot! Mario and Cris made it so seamless - we bought a company vehicle and they are already ordering us another one!!! If you're on the fence, I suggest giving them a try.

He told me they performed my type of service here all the time with trained and skilled mechanics on staff that specialized on installed transmissions . He went on further to lure me to bring service to the dealership becaue he could offer me the best price and also give me an additional discount on my services if I got my vehicle towed to the shop today to show good faith . I decided to get my vehicle the same day to the shop. Once it arrived we coordinated parts and repairs and went back and fourth on pricing of services I needed for my vehicle. After I had selected all the services and parts I needed we had come to a final work up of the repairs I was going to authorize. I was relieved and then asked him now that we know exactly all the repairs I need what kind of discount would he be able to apply to my service ticket. This is where things went south. He responded to me by saying their will be no additional discounts the price it was final. I reminded him of the conversation over discounts and he told me that what he really meant was that he would see if he could apply a discount if he could but not that he would . That was the first slap in the face . I grudgingly moved forward with the repairs as I had already spent money getting the vehicle towed to the dealership from Pflugerville. Backing out now would cost me more money. Next Issue was communication I had provided the majority of the parts needed for the repairs. I requested a call back or update if anything was missing parts wise or if there was a delay in repairs due to issues with parts. A day and half went by before I called in requesting an update and was told that parts were needed to continue working on vehicle I asked why I hadn't been notified sooner as I wanted to get repairs done asap. His replay was I got busy with everything else going on and was not able to call me. It doesn't take 2 days to call an open ticket either an update. I ultimately called in had I not the vehicle would have sat longer without a update or phone call to me to let me know the status of my vehicle repairs . I then requested that they remove the transmission oil pan from transmission to confirm the failure in my transmission as they woukd have to drain the unit anyway once they removed it to ship it back to my outside vendor . He told me that just removing the pan to check for metal debris in the transmission oil pan would cost me $450.00 additionally on to my ticket. He told me he could not ask his text to do that work as it was a menu service item and could not do it for free . I reminded him that the pan was going to be removed either way to drain and prepare for the return shipping of the core back to the vendor where I bought the transmission from . At this point I had enough and asked that he put everything together and stop all work. I hung up with him at this point. I got a call later that day from Travis saying that he spoke to the technician and he went ahead and opened and checked the transmission pan like I originally requested because he was curious too about the condition of the transmission prior to replacement. I asked why they had done that because i wasn't going to pay for the $450.00 dollar service i was quoted to do that. He said we went ahead and just opened it up to check it out since they were just curious themselves. I then asked why they would charge me that service if they were going to do it themselves anyway to meet the core return requirements anyway. He said we'll I just cant do work for free like that. My question was then why did you do it. Clearly to get me back on the hook to get me to move forward with the repairs . Were talking $2500.00 dollars in repairs at this point . Long story short . Their has been a mis steep at every point of my service. Today when I arrive to pick up and pay for my vehicle I ask if I can test drive vehicle im told im that I cant until my original service advisor returns from lunch . Or I have the option of paying for the unit and coming back if their is any issues with the truck. Which I think is very odd . All I want to do is drive the vehicle for my piece of mind before I pickup and pay for all the services. Sure enough I wait an hour for the advisor to return to work because no one in the entire dealership was available to come with me on a courtesy test drive . Needless to say their was issues with the truck that arose that were not present prior to the service. Meaning the vehicle now had additional meaning more problems then it had when it arrived. My tempature gauge is not working and my tail light bulbs right hand side were not working anymore. Now im being told it will cost me an additional $450.00 to fix the problems it has now that were not present when it arrived. Enoigh siad terrible service at every stop and exchange
